Arielle's P.O.V.
As Sebastian slammed the phone against the wall everything seemed worthless to me now. He was going to kill me and when he is done no one will find my body. There won't be a funeral because they've never found me. A tear escaped the corner of my eye and made it's way down my cheek. I cursed that tear for showing weakness, but so what? It's too late now. They'll never find me and Shadow doesn't even care. A sob tried to come out, but I clenched my teeth and, kept it inside me.
As I sat quietly on the chair, trying to hide my feelings, Sebastian faced the wall with boiling anger. His hands were clenched next to his sides, his nostrils flared, and he was heavily breathing. I tuned out of my gloomy state and tentively looked at Sebastian. Jayk frowned and reached out to touch Sebastian's shoulder, but Sebastian jerked away from his grasp. The act was so violent that I had no desire to be touched by him.
"Jayk...I want you gather everyone so we can discuss something...," Sebastian choked out like he had just been strangled. I tensed up as he walked by me and looked at them at the corner of my eye.
"What about her?" Jayk asked, cocking his head toward me.
"Tie her up." With that he shut the door opened leaving an echo behind and leaving me feeling cold and scared.

Shadow's P.O.V.
I let my phone dangle from my fingers and fall with a smack to the floor. I didn't really care if I broken it. I just needed time to process of what had just happened. A shudder went through me and I slowly sat at the edge of the couch.
I rubbed my temples and leaned forward with my elbows on my knees. I silently shook my head to shake away this nightmare. She's hurting and what am I doing for her? Nothing. I'm very worthless for her right now. I know she was right there...She heard what I said. And she believed me. I took a deep breath. But there is no turning back now. Right now I just gotta find her and hope it's not too late if I ever do.
I rubbed my face and looked up. I clenched my jaw as a tear threatened to escape. My tears can't help her, but it will help me. I need a release and this will give me some strength...It will show me that I love her. It's stupid, I know, but--Wait! No, it's not stupid. It's not stupid loving her because she means a lot to me than she thinks. I'll find her because I owe her as much.
I glanced at my right, to the window. I had a perfect view of the night sky in front of my cabin. The glowing stars winked at me one by one. I reached out and traced one star in the window pane. I took a deep breath and shut my eyes before I dived in my plan. At times I would have liked to face only quietness and darkness because it would always be unchanging and same. There would be no light streaking against it. Only me and my dark, quiet friend. But then again wouldn't that be miserable? No one to talk to or look after? That's not life that's hell and I don't want that. I wasn't going to turn into some depressing person and whine that the world was a cruel world. Yeah it was, but it ain't that bad. It could be nice and sweet to you at times. Arielle's laughing face came in my mind and a flash of hurt striked my heart.
Then, suddenly, as if realizing at what I was losing, tears started sliding down my cheeks. They came down slowly, but the pain didn't cease. I sat silently on the couch and let the tears engulf my body. A sob came out of my mouth and I turned away to bury my face in the pillow beside me. I closed my eyes shut and groaned as pain striked at me everywhere, but mainly my heart. I never cried so this was kinda new to me. I never thought how much it would hurt...I never thought how much it would hurt losing her.
I rapidly started catching my breath and gripped the pillow. A weird, strangled sound came from behind my throat. I blinked my eyes and frowned at the twinkling lights blocking my vision. My jaw twitched and the tears came slower. I was done crying since well, I still had a chance of saving her.
Suddenly, in the midst of my tears and silence, my phone started ringing. I groaned and blindingly searched for my phone on the floor. No luck. I scowled and bended forward. Cool metal touched my hand and I snatched it forward.
I pressed the 'Call' button and didn't bother to check who was calling. "Hello?" I huskily said. I cleared my throat and spoke more louder,"Hello? Who is this?"
"Did you even check the 'Caller ID' or did you just not give a damn? Well, anyway, Oliver and Flash are here. Johnny too," Ash said on the otherside of the line. I heard a loud thump which was followed by a curse. Someone laughed making me frown in confusion.
"Where were they anyway?"
"Spying on Sebastian or that's what they say. It doesn't really matter, but when are we going to get this party on the road?"
I coughed uncomfortably. "Ash, I gotta tell you something first, but face-to-face. Sebastian called me and I think I have a clue of where he has her, but I don't know the location."
There was silence at the other end. "He called you? When? What do you mean you know where she is, but don't know where she is? That doesn't make sense."
"I mean he gave me a few hints of where she might be, but I have a good feeling about this. We just need internet access and that smart brain of yours. Okay?"
"Yeah, okay, but get over here so we can talk about this more since I'm kinda suspicious over here," Ash said, sighing.
I nodded. "I'll be right there."
I pressed the 'End' button, grabbed my leather jacket, and was out the door.

Arielle's P.O.V.
I struggled as Jayk roughly grabbed my shoulders and pushed me to the small bed. I scooted from him, but he took hold of ankles, and pulled me toward him. I tried to kick up a leg, but he was already tiying them with wire. I cried out as the sharp wire pierced my skin. Jayk barely glanced up and pushed my legs aside as he finished.
Before he left he looked at me and said,"That's what you get for playing with fire. I hope you learned your lesson." A sly smile played around his lips.
I stared at him with confusion and said,"But I didn't do anything."
"Yeah you did. You got in the way." With a final look at me he slammed the door behind him. I sighed in relief at his retreating footsteps, but a wave of loneliness overcame me.
Everything was so quiet and so...distant. Like, out of my touch. I bit my lip and looked down at my legs. They really hurt and the more I moved the more they pierced my skin. This will be a simpler way to die instead of under Sebastian's hands. I didn't bother to try to untie the wire because I knew it was worthless. He sure tied them hard.
I sighed in exhaustion and laid back down. I crossed my arms and blankly looked up at the cracked ceiling. Everything didn't go as I expected instead of a fun Halloween party I pictured in my mind it became a Halloween nightmare. My friends are probably worrying sick along with my mom and sister. My head jerked forward. What time was it? I know it can't be Halloween anymore, but it can't be the first day of November either...How long have I've been sleeping? I think more than a day. Or less. Ugh.
I frustratingly clenched my teeth and looked around me for some sort of window. Oh, what a surprise, there wasn't one. I stifly smiled. What was this anyway? A panic room? Wow. I really have to start paying more attention to my surroundings and the people I talk to. Too late now. I probably won't ever see the sun again or my friends or my family or Shadow...
I slowly frowned as my eyes squinted and a lump formed in my throat. Slowly, like I was watching a movie, a smirking Shadow crossed my vision. His dark hair was ruffled from the wind and his electric blue eyes was like the endless bottom of an ocean. The sight was something precious to behold. He was precious. What I loved most was his smile. That smile could create butterflies in your stomach and his lips made me stare in awe as they flattened in a care-free way.
These memories were precious to hold, but they only made me flinch in pain. It hurted that I possibly won't be able to see that smile again or those lips or him. That wasn't it. I'm going to miss my family and my friends. One by one Seth, Ruby, and Jodie flashed before me. It was all of us. It was when we first met: Freshman year. It was the time when my brown hair was turning red and when Jodie heard that she was getting braces and when me and Jode set Seth and Ruby on a date--with each other! Memories. They're beautiful, but they can be painful.
Tears started brimming my eyes and sobs started blocking my airway. I sniffed and my hands started getting sweaty. The next thing you know my body was shaking violently as I let my tears spill over. I clamped my mouth shut and silently let pain take over. It was bittersweet. I curled myself into a ball. Suddenly, a realization came over me. I can't remember my family and my friends like this. Not with pain, but with love. I have to remember them by the good times. By all the laughs, smiles, and memorable times. A shy smile crept up my face. No pain just love. I slowly nodded. My tears had already dried, but I knew that my eyes were still red. I sat up and ignored the pain in my legs as I tenderly brushed the tears away.
I still had hope though that I wasn't going to die--not tonight though. Shadow...whispered my mind. My heart ached at that name. How could I forget a guy like him? He was forever printed in my head. True love never dies...
Then unfortunately my time was up.
Suddenly, the door creaked open, and out came a smiling Sebastian.
"Time's up, doll-face," he said, holding up a roll of tape.

Shadow's P.O.V.
"Ash!" I yelled as I jumped out of my car and ran toward Ash and the others who were standing together.
Ash turned around and quickly motioned me toward him. I shoved my hands in my pockets as a strong wind brushed my cheeks and made my clothes sway in the wind. I glanced up at the dull day and it seemed to fit my mood. Clouds were spreading out, covering the afternoon sun.
"Eh, Jonathon, do you think I'll be able to use that computer of yours?" I asked the fairly pale, lean brunette beside me.
"Uh, yeah. Ash told me that you need internet access and I got a feeling you'll be needing my handy hands," he said, grinning as he cracked his knuckles.
"Where's your twin?"
"Inside." Nodding inside our other head-quarters. Only it belonged to Jonathon and Aiden. Oh and Aiden is his twin.
"Let's go inside then because your really gonna have to search good on this one," I said and nudged them forward.
We crossed a street and wound ourselves to an alley. Sebastian thought I wasn't going to have our head-quarters somewhere kinda private, but he was very wrong. Like, always.
Our feet moved swiftly across the ground and then we ducked under a door as we made sure no one was following.
The smell of pizza and dirt hit my nose. Not something you'll like to experience everyday, but not unpleasant either. As I lifted my eyes I was surprised to see Seth lounging on the couch. I looked at Ash, but he only shrugged.
"Okay then so what do you want me to do in the world of computers?" Jonathon said as he settled in his swivel chair and turned on his computer.
"Nerd" Flash coughed out as he passed Jonathon. Jonathon just rolled his eyes.
I dragged a chair beside him and sat beside him. "Is there any field out here in Oregon?"
They all looked at me including Seth. "Field?" Jonathon asked with skeptism.
"Yeah like farms and stretches of corn and all that," I answered.
"I don't think so--"
"You lived in Oregon for almost five years and you don't know if there is any farmland out here?" Ash said with amusement.
I just rolled my eyes and stared at Jonathon who was busy running his fingers across the keyboard. I saw him go to his each engine which was Bing and type up 'Farmlands in Oregon' and hit the 'Enter' button.
A long list popped out.
"Oh...Yeah I'm going to need more information because mostly this is about Oregon lands, lots, and ranches for sale which is not what were looking for," said Jonathon as he skimmed the list.
"What exactly are we looking for?" asked Flash with a peculiar look on his green-orangish eyes.
I turned toward the others and said,"The thing is Sebastian called me--"
"He called you?" they said in unison.
"Yeah and it was about Arielle and how I was never going to find her and a lot more bullshit. He knows I love her--" I got cut off again.
"You what? You love her? After two months you love her?" Flash inquired.
"Let me finish! Anyway, I denied that I loved her and he was all that I made her cry since she was beside him which I already guessed when he called me. So after that I tried to see if I could get any infomation from him so I tried to make him mad by telling him that I thought of him as a big loser, pathetic, and just worthless. I think it worked because he said some stuff about that 'she'll be buried where the earth turns the color of hay and land stretches out for miles'. And before that he said something about spending time with her by enjoying the goregous fields. And since I know Oregon is known for it's forest, fish, and beavers I was thinking maybe he has her somewhere like a...farm?"
Johnny cocked his head to the side and clicked his tongue inside his cheek. "Eh...Uh..Maybe. Yeah, but mostly farmlands are spread out somwhere in the South or...something like that. Oh and he could've taken her to Idaho or Montana. They're near Oregon, but it would've taken them more than a day to get there especially to Montana. So you have Idaho or they could still be here. When he called you was the line bad or was there any interference?"
I tried to recall that, but there really wasn't Johnathon must have seen my answer because he sighed and tried again. "Okay. Um, did he sound faraway? Anything like cars in the background? Really?"
"He did sound farway, but so what? Bad reception calls for a bad line. It could happen anywhere," I answered.
"Can I add something? Ok, what kinda edges me is when he said 'she'll be buried where the earth turns the color of hay and land stretches for miles'. Like, if he literally meant that 'land stretches out for miles' then I'll dismiss it, but did he sound serious?" Flash put out with his hands held out in a pointing out expression.
"Uh. Yeah since well he just said that seconds after I started insulting him. So yeah he was pretty serious and pissed. What does that have to to do with this?" I asked with narrowed eyes.
Flash pursed his lips. "The thing is that the farmlands don't stretch out for miles because at least in every mile you'll see houses or small shops scattered around so that's not possible. And the grass doesn't turn the color of hay they reproduce it again. Well, something like that since I suck at History. But the lines don't really go with me."
Aiden, Johnny's twin, frowned and said,"So they can't be in Oregon anymore. Like, they could be in a vancant area instead?"
Now I frowned. I was getting confused and we weren't heading anywhere. Jonathon had the same expression and suddenly, he waved his hands around, and faced his computer again.
"You guys are confusing me more...Okay, they can't be Oregon so they'll have to be in Idaho at least. BUT farmlands are really active this season so..." he trailed off, typing away in his keyboard.
"So?" Aiden said.
Jonathon held up hand and so we shut up. I tried to keep up as he entered and exited sites, but I had no idea what he was doing. After awhile some of us got bored and turned on the T.V. Family Guy reruns were on so some of us used it as a distraction. I leaned back in my chair as I started getting sore.
"I think I got something..." Jonathon said. I shoot up from my chair and looked at the screen. The others just glanced at us and shrugged.
"Idaho is busy too so it would have to be somewhere unused and not active which is not possible because every part is used and active. BUT there are some areas that are unused because maybe the soil is too hard or destruction has been caused in the place. So I got some few addresses of where he might have taken her," he said, his eyes glued to the screen as he typed away.
I opened my mouth to respond, but he cut me off. "Oh and quick question. Did Sebastian ever visited Idaho's farmlands like a relative that lived out there? 'Cause I think he did. Remember when he was gone for half the summer in '06 because he was sent to his grandparents?"
"Oh yeah! Told me he hated it and the fact that his grandparents were a bunch of hillbillies! Wow and that they live in a pretty remote are out there in Idaho. Said half the land was the color of hay and you couldn't go anywhere 'cause land was everywhere! Wait! His grandparents live outside of Oregon! Washington not Idaho!" Oliver blurted out.
I looked at the brown highlighted guy in my left with ridicule. "And you decide to tell me now! Oliver, you really have to start telling me things sooner."
"Oh, sorry," he murmured.
I sighed and said,"Anyway, where is this place?"
"Uh, some place called Walla Walla? Yeah something like that. East."
"Jonathon--"
"Already on it!" he called at me.
"Yep. Walla Walla is outside of Oregon. Pretty close actually. And miles of land spreadout. I think we got them. Oh and Oliver do you know the address--."
Oliver nodded. "Yeah and I even got pictures if we get lost. He gave them to me."
"Hopefully not," TJ muttered.
"It makes sense though because if he would've taken her somewhere she doesn't recognize then it would have to be somewhere he recognized because then it would be pathetic if he didn't know the area. It does make sense... It wasn't Idaho though it was Washington. Walla Walla isn't that faraway by the way like we'll probably get there in four hours or so,"Johnny said.
"Well, then if we want to get there in less than that then we have to get moving people because the clock is ticking," TJ added already grabbing his coat and gun.
We stood up and grabbed out stuff. I turned away from them and breathed out,"We found her and I'm taking her back
