Prince Milagro is a happy prince living in Miradero until an evil sorceress named Ursula invades the kingdom and presumably murders him! Raul, the royal wizard, puts the rest of the royal family inside an enchanted painting and flees. Many years later, Raul's granddaughter, Princess Samira of Namiquipa, is very unhappy with her life as a princess and wants to do something big and special. Raul tells her that there's one thing she can do: save Miradero from Ursula...and there's only one way to do that.
