I looked back kind of anxious regretting how I acted but the past few minutes were completely erased from my mind as something solid stopped me in my tracks aka I ran into something I fell backward squeaking a bit and yelped when I landed on my but.

"Ouchi" I mumbled and looked up at the wall who turned out not to be a wall but an actual person....another guy actually two this time.

"Remus how could you knock a girl down" one of the boys who was shorter and a slight bit rounder with mousy brown hair scolded his friend who was much taller with lighter brown hair

"Uh I'm super sorry" the taller boy spoke offering his hand to me I only smiled taking it as he pulled me up effortlessly.

"It's really no problem at all I wasn't watching where I was going anyway" they both smiled in return.

"H-hi I'm Peter and this is Remus" finally people who don't expect a last name.

"Hello, I'm (y/n)!" I chirped but remembered why I wasn't paying attention in the first place I looked back to see the father of that older boy looking around I quickly hid behind the taller boy known as Remus.

"Please act normal" I squeaked out and Peter squeaked to but Remus just put his arm around my shoulder and walked back inside the shop they just came out of it was a bookshop which was actually good because I was missing a few books, I took a peek out the window to catch a glimpse of the man walking by though he was stupid and didn't take the time to actually look into the shops he passed I sighed turning towards the two bowing my head.

"Thank You for helping me, I'm very sorry for the inconvenience" they both only nodded.

"What did you do that's so bad as to cause you to have to hide from him?" Remus asked I froze internally I had to think of something quick. I looked up smiling.

"I pulled a prank on him to where when he opened his book it would start screaming and I guess he didn't take it to well" I scratched the back of my head and Remus shrugged.

"Makes sense I wouldn't really like that either" it was quiet.

"Well I didn't make a very good first impression but uh by any chance are you going to Hogwarts?" they both nodded.

"We'll be first years" Peter spoke timidly and I only smiled brighter

"SAME! That's so weird you guys make 5 first years I met today" they both looked shocked.

"Really we've both been here for half the day and we only met each other" Remus mumbled making me laugh.

"Just my lucky day I guess-" I was gonna say something else but quickly spotted and grabbed the last two books I needed.

"Oh, ya by any chance do you guys have the time?" Peter nodded looking at a watch he had strapped around his wrist.

"it's 11:30" he spoke and my eyes widened.

"Oh no I only have 30 minutes I have to go but I'll see you both at Hogwarts!" I quickly ran past them not even waiting for a response and paid for the book before leaving the shop and I started running down the side I took a quick look at my list and realized I only needed my wand next to it was neatly written 'Ollivanders' I looked up once more and spotted the shop on the other side of the ally, I was about to cross until something caught my collar pulling me back. I turned quickly to see the very man I barely escaped from before.

"Just listen, kid, if you know anything you're gonna tell me right now or you'll dearly regret it" he growled but I just smirked.

"You're bluffing you can't do anything to me out here in public" that's when he spun around throwing me down the smaller alley that I didn't know was behind him, stupidly I scooted back a bit to try to put distance between us but stopped when I realized I was just putting distance between me and the exit as well.

"Now" he growled "tell me what you know" I growled.

"I don't know anything I heard the name (y/l/n) and recalled hearing about her somewhere and-"

"So the (y/l/n) really is out there, a female you say maybe she will come in handy to the dark lord" I heard him mumble and I cringed at my fatal mistake, I don't even know who this dark lord is.

"Where is this (y/l/n) where did you hear about her"

"HEY!" a voice called from behind him and Immediately I perked up at my possible saviour, The boy's father turned to reveal a girl she had long sleek black hair and extremely vibrant blue eyes, we made eye contact and I sent her a pleading look she smiled and looked over glaring at the predator as if he were merely a mouse.

"You better back off of her you dip shit" she cursed making me smirk at her confidence.

"You dare call me such a name you low blooded-" she raised her hand and shook her finger "tisk tisk tisk a man should know how to talk to his superiors" she flicked back her hair and the man gasped confusing me he tisked and turned to me and then back to the girl "this isn't over" he walked out of the alley.

"Oh I think it is" the girl waver her hand and the man froze before looking around confused and walking back in the direction he came from. The girl turned to me "are you ok?" she asked helping me up and looking me over.

"Uh ya I'm fine, thanks for saving me by the way" I looked away a bit and she giggled softly.

"There's no need to thank me I just saw you needed help and well helped I guess" she smiled a slightly crooked smile.

"Uh I was actually wondering why he left so quickly before?" she frowned a bit.

"I'll show you but you have to promise me we'll be friends in our first year at Hogwarts" I was gonna ask how she knew it was my first year but she pulled up her hair revealing her ears though they weren't normal, unlike mine hers were pointed on the top.

"You got surgery?" I asked and she started laughing.

"No I'm an elf silly" my eyes grew wide.

"Wait elves actually exist?" she nodded.

"Ya but you gotta keep it a secret now weren't you going somewhere?" she asked before standing and sorta running out of the ally I started after her but once I got out she was gone I looked around and she wasn't anywhere to be seen confusing me I looked around a bit more before shrugging it off and hesitantly walking across the middle of the alley it wasn't quite as packed but it was still too many people for my liking. I finally got to the other side and sighed as I walked into the wand shop just as two people were walking out.

"Wow you look cool" a voice spoke I turned to see a red-haired girl who looked surprisingly a little shorter than me.

"uh, thanks?" I sorta asked not sure how to respond the boy next to her nudged her side with his elbow.

"Oh I'm sorry I'm Lily and this is Severus" she smiled and I did as well sorta tired from the day's events.

"You're going in to get your wand right?" she asked and I nodded.

"So you're gonna be a first year at Hogwarts too?" she asked even more excited and honestly I couldn't help but become more excited myself.

"Oh ya" she squealed.

"You're the first girl that I've met today who's also a first year"

"Well, then I hope to be the first of my kind who's also your friend" I smirked and she laughed.

"Definitely right Sev" the boy next to her tensed a bit nodding lightly making me laugh until I remembered.

"Oh no I'm already late I have to go I'll see you later" I turned quickly and entered the store looking around but slowly the aura of the place took over and I was more curious about the secrets it held rather than the amount of time I had. I looked down a few aisles till a voice spoke.

"Oh, I can already tell you're gonna be a difficult one" I turned to see a man standing at the end of my aisle.

"What do you mean?" I asked him, he smiled.

"Plenty of people have come in and none have left without the perfect wand though were not always sure exactly how many tries it will take there are a select few who are especially difficult" he emphasized the especially making me frown about how late I already was "so in that case I'll skip the basics and go straight to-" a sudden chill went down my spine as a wave of sorts emitted from somewhere though I knew it wasn't bad I looked to my left and trailed my eyes over the wall of boxes finally landing on one I pointed to a box that stood out from the rest it was extremely faded and slightly banged up the man gasped lightly and I turned to him, he quickly scurried over pulling a sliding ladder with him, he climbed up carefully retrieving the box bringing it down as if it would break at any second, he stepped over opening the box carefully to reveal exactly what I thought it was gonna be...my old wand.it was a 12in dragon heartstring with a combination of redwood and ebony wood.

"Oh you have chosen a very odd wand indeed this wand was crafted by hand but what's weird is that the wand is not made of one wand but two" I smiled and picked it up out of the box and the second it rest in my hand a warm glow spread up my arm "Oh I never thought I would see the day and how it greeted you as an old friend you will be living a very interesting life indeed" I nodded looking up at the man.

"How much?" he frowned.

"I almost don't want to charge you but I already know you would insist so how about 5 galleons" I nodded pulling out exactly that and I left the shop now running to the meeting point, I should only be 10 minutes late but that's long enough for Jessie to be on my tail jeez I'm not looking forward to that...well here goes nothing.
