The next 2 weeks were dull classes started a week late due to the death toll, so most of the time I was in my room re-reading the letter believing if I read it enough times it would say they were all safe at home with the Constable having a nice breakfast like we always did, of course, no letter like that ever came and the note never changed from deceased, I still don't know what's come of Constable...she could be dead too for all I know....another to mark the line of graves in my wake. a knock on my door caused me to jump, I hid the letter under my pillow and took a deep breath before smiling I looked in the mirror and noticed the abvous look of malnurishment and heavy bags that lay under my eyes, I quickly fix that while also brightening the color of my eyes and hair, I walked over opening the door it was Peter, James, and Sirius supporting a grim looking Remus and as usual when the full moon comes around Remus looks like a dead dog, I looked at all of them my smile dropping.

"How much do you know?" they all glared.

"We know he's a werewolf we just want to know why you didn't tell us for 3 years" I walked forward grabbing Remus from them and leading him over to my bed before laying him down the others followed in "stay back if you're hit with these spells they could kill you" they all froze.

"What about Remus?"

"It will null the side effects of the process of turning, I made it specifically for him" Peter gasped.

"You made a spell?" James asked and I just sighed.

"You all would have found out sooner or later, but now is not the time to explain" I continued to cast spells on Remus and eventually the color returned to his face as he slowly sat up taking a breath I reached over and handed him my still warm plate of food that sat on the night stand next to my bed

"Remember to come to me every morning when your symptoms start dum dum" I poked his forehead and he glared lightly.

"I didn't want to bother you, you have enough to deal with." he grumbled and I just smiled softly.

"You don't bother me, I enjoy the company" he stood and the others stepped forward.

"How long has this been happening?" Sirius asked and I let Remus take over.

"I got bit before school even started, (y/n) somehow already knew and forged spells that would help me, she even started the bases of a potion that can help me keep my sanity through the whole transformation" he looked at me smiling.

"But due to it not being done and the fact he needs someone to help him stay put I have a relatively successful spell that I use, rather than him attacking me my presence will calm him down" the others went wide-eyed once again and I just turned to Remus "how many days?" he thought for a second.

"There are two days left till the full moon" I turned to the door and saw Ember standing there, Remus stood quickly as she walked in holding a plate of food she brought me every night.

"E-Ember I meant to tell you but-" she set the plate down on my nightstand and walked over still smiling.

"I already knew" Remus looked down and I just backed up watching them.

"But-" Ember laughed.

"You think it would make me like you any less" she booped his nose "don't be silly" he looked up smiling and looked at us, I was hugging Sirius on the verge of tears but continued to watch intently he only pats Embers head and turns away.

"Uh thanks for still being my friend!" Ember turned and saw me and tensed a little sorta going robotic as she lightly punched Remus's arm "oh ya no problem friend" she grabbed his hand "I almost forgot that there was some homework I needed your help with" Remus only nodded walking with her.

"Have fun snogging in the closet!" I called after them.

"They were snogging?" Peter asked and I nodded smirking.

"I have a picture, wanna see"

"Oh hell ya" James smiled and I walked over to my nightstand Ignoring the food once more and pulled out a folded picture of Reemus pinning her to the wall as they snogged.

"Geeze Remus" Sirius laughed and I did too I had hoped that would get ther minds off the new information however.

"(y/n)...we want to help him" James looked me straight in the eye.

"I thought you would say that." I looked away putting the picture back.

"Just teach us that one spell so we can help him" Peter suggested but I shook my head.

"It's too complicated and it doesn't always work" I veered off, Sirius stepped forward.

"What do you mean?" I ground my teeth lightly.

"Remus loses his mind when he transforms he doesn't know but the spell is unperfected so It failed once"

"Only once?" Sirius asked and I nodded.

"But that one time nearly got me killed" I lifted my shirt slightly to reveal three large scars across my stomach caused by Remus when he attacked me "I didn't have enough time to cast the spell again so I hid nulling the smell of the blood" they all frowned.

"So there's no way?" James frowned.

"There is...one other option" I spoke and they all looked back at me.

"What is it" Sirius asked his eyes holding a fire I had only seen a few times. I walked over to the trunk in front of my bed and pulled out a binder I opened it and showed them.

"Animagus" Peter read and I nodded.

"It's a long and hard and just plain confusing at some parts but I studied it the past three years and with the right spells I can make sure we can avoid a lot of the side effects but there's still the potion and we have to gain a mandrake leaf" I was silenced by all three of them as they embraced me.

"You've done exactly what we need, we'll read through this and get the ingredients and supplies" James spoke looking at the page that held all the needed supplies in detail.

"You're a flipping genius, You sure you won't go out with me?" I grabbed the binder looking over it once more.

Hold mandrake leaf in the mouth for a month (30 days, cannot be removed or swallowed!)

Repeat incantation "Amato Animo Animato Animagus." Every sunrise and sunset.

Make potion

Place the now-soaked Mandrake leaf in a small crystal vial where it is struck directly by the light given off by the moon (if the night is cloudy or the moon is otherwise obscured, the entire Mandrake Leaf process will need to be repeated).

Add one strand of hair to the vial.

Add a teaspoon of dew to the vial.

Add one Death's-head Hawk Moth chrysalis to the vial and place the mixture in a dark, undisturbed place until the next lightning storm.)

Allow to be struck by lightning (potion should turn blood red)

Drink potion and repeat incantation (be warned side-effects include deformation decapitation and death.)

"In your dreams" he gasped making me look up at him.

"How did you know?" I let out a involentary laugh and turned away.

"Your so weird" I sat on my bed and looked at the instructions "for the first part we need to plan this exactly we have to start tomorrow if you want to get the first part done by next month" I looked up "any way you guys can get us 5 mandrake leafs?"

"Of course" James crossed his arms offended by my doubt.

"But why 5 there's only 4 of us," Peter asked and I looked up.

"Because Ember was the one to give me this option she wanted to do it first, I just studied how to do it since I'm better at potions and planning, she will be creating and casting the spells, I can't believe how dense all of you are, she made half the spell to help Remus as well, I'm not all mighty" I laughed at there shock "ya Embers a flipping genius she just doesn't want to seem like a smartass" I stood closing the binder "anyway how are you gonna get the mandrake leafs?" now Peter stepped forward.

"If I just ask the herbology teacher will give them to me, I just have to tell her I'm studying them" I smiled.

"Perfect"

"How are we gonna do this without getting caught?" Sirius asked and I placed the binder back in the trunk instead picking up a whiteboard and marker writing something, I turned it and Sirius read.

"Oath Of Silence For Abused House Elves That Can Speak Out" he nodded.

"That'll work" I nodded handing them each one.

"Keep track of this"

"There's one problem" I looked up at James "were going to be sneaking around a lot, we need something that tells us where the night monitors are"

"A map?" Sirius suggested and I stopped them.

"We will discuss this tomorrow with Ember" the others nodded understanding "are you guys gonna crash here or.." they looked at each other.

"I don't trust going back to the room so I'm gonna crash here" Sirius jumped on his bed and the others did the same, I only turned off the light, once again ignoring the food and got in my bed as well.

"Goodnight" I spoke before drifting off into my world of terror.
