WHEN OLIVIA POOFED INTO THE GYM SHE EXPECTED KIDS TO BE DANCING AND HAVING FUN

What she definitely didnt expect to see was Julie and Flynns stricken faces as they watched miserably as Carrie announced a party at her house. The crowd cheered and Olivia felt herself sneer at the girl as she dropped the microphone she was holding onto Flynns turn tables.

Olivia glanced at the clock, it was only 8.50. The crowd couldnt wait a few minutes more?

She had faith in the guys, she knew they were going to come but guess it wasnt much use now.

The crowd cheered somemore as a Carrie led them to her house, leaving a upset Julie and Flynn on stage.

Flynn placed her arm around Julies shoulders and walked to the edge of the stage, Olivia then walked up to them from where she stood by the entrance doors. She waved at Julie as she walked over and the Latinos heart softened at the sight of the blonde ghosts kind smile.

Of course Olivia showed up, there was no chance she would do that to Julie.

"Oh i mean, the whole night wasnt a bust." Flynn said as she motioned to the dance floor before either Olivia or Julie could say hi, they turned to watch as 2 remaining teens took their positions at the center of the dance floor. The 2 teens took each others hands and slow danced together, smiles on their faces.

Olivia smiled softly at the young teens and walked over to where Julie and Flynn stood.

"Hey" Olivia said softly as she leaned against the stage.

"Hey" Julie responded glumly, her head on Flynns shouler. Flynns eyes widened and looked around.

"Are the guys here?" She asked.

"No its just Olivia" Julie said as she pointed to the spot where Oliva stood, Flynn sent the blonde a wave and she waved back even though she couldnt be seen.

"Where are the guys?" Julie asked distressed and Olivia sighed.

"I dont know but when I last left them Luke promised me they would be here on time." Olivia sighed.

The 2 of them glanced at the clock as it struck 9.01pm.

"Guess he broke his promise."

"I can never show my face at this school again" Julie announced.

The 3 girls sat on the ground of the gym, popping the balloons Flynn had blown up prior as decoration.

It was kinda therapeutic Olivia thought, Flynn was a little wary at first since to her it was a random pin needle floating mid air but she eventually got used to the sight.

"That's what we get for depending on boys" Flynn deadpanned and Olivia popped a balloon.

"I cant believe they just bailed like that. Even after he promised." Olivia mumbled.

"I dont know if i should be mad or worried." Olivia added as she glanced at the clock, it was already midnight. It had been three hours and they still haven't showed.

"Their ghosts, i dont know what kind of trouble they can get into." Julie said fustratedly as she let out another sigh. Flynn looked at her best friend sympathetically as she tried to offer her a comforting smile.

"Im gonna get us some ice cream from the cafeteria. Fools gave me the keys! We can crash at my place and forget about this whole nightmare. Does olivia want anything?" Flynn asked motioning to the needle still popping balloons sadly mid air.

Julie just shook her head and Flynn walked off.

Olivia watched as Flynn walked off and stopped popping the balloons, she turned to the Latino.

"Jules i really am so so sorry, i know how much this gig meant to you and i really did try to get them here on time. I cant believe they bailed on on you, on me. He promised." Olivia apologised to the girl, mumbling the last part to himself.

The young Latino shook her head and offered her a weak smile "hey, you werent the one that didnt show up. You were the only one that showed up in fact, the only one i really know that has my back. So dont be sorry, im sorry Luke betrayed your trust." Julie told the girl softly.

Olivia blinked as she stared at Julie "w-what does this have to do with Luke?"

"Liv, all youve been mumbling to yourself all night is how Luke broke his promise to you. I have angrily popped balloons to prove it." Julie chuckled as she motioned to the torn balloons on the floor.

Olivia sighed as she ran her fingers through her hair "i know i'm sorry, you just would think that the guy that promised he was always going to be there would show up when you needed him the most."

Julie watched Olivia for a moment before finally deciding to ask "whats the deal with you and Luke?"

Olivia coughed slightly as she looked at the Latino nervously, Julie had a devislih grin on her face as Olivia blushed slightly.

"W-well, nothing really. I mean i guess, i do have some sort of feelings for him? I never really had a moment to sit down and sort them out but," she took a breath and sighed.

"I just know that i like him. I really like him." Olivia said the last part quietly but Julie still heard it, she looked the blonde sympathetically before she sighed.

"The guy that i have a huge crush on is dating my mortal enemy ." Julie said, Olivias head shot up in surprise.

"The guys that was at Carries house?" Olivia asked, vaguely remembering a blonde boy at Carries house when they went to haunt Bobby

"Yeah, his name is Nick. Ive had the biggest crush on him for the longest time its embarrassing." Julie chuckled, Olivia smiled and moved closer to her.

"Awww no its not, its sweet. Tell me about him"

And thats what she did, the 2 girls gossiped back and forth about the respective boys that owned their heart and that night it was as if their friendship blossomed even more. They trusted each other on a different level now and the 2 girls wouldnt change it for the world.

"I remember the girls back at school hated me for talking to him, they were all so obsessed with him." Olivia giggled as Julie laughed.

It was then the doors the gym bursted open with a loud 'BANG" causing the girls to jump out of their skin, the guys ran in with nervous smiles on their faces.

"Julie! We are ready to rock this ... dance-? Which is clearly over " Reggie trailed off and the three boys looked at the empty gym. Their hearts sunk even more as they turned to see a upset Julie and hurt Olivia rise from the floor they were sitting on.

Olivia couldnt even look at Luke, she knew if she did she might just forgive him and she wasnt going to let that happen today.  Luke hearts broke as he saw Olivia avoid his eyes as he stared intently at the girl.

"Julie, we are so so sorry we bailed on you." Luke said desperately as he looked at the Latino, his eyes flicking over to the blonde but she still didnt look at him, instead her eyes were doncast at her shoes.

"Yeah the night really got away from us." Alex added weakly from beside Luke.

"Just please tell me it had nothing to do with Carries dad." Julie demanded, Olivias eyes widened. She hadnt even considered that they had stayed at the club for over three hours to get back at Bobby.

She finally looked up to watch the guys as they nervously played it off.

"Pft, what? "

"Of course not!"

"We wouldnt do that!"

"Seriously? First you break your promise, and now your lying to me?" Olivia asked her voice breaking slightly as she finally locked eyes with Luke. The usual warmth in her eyes wasnt there anymore, instead all Luke saw was hurt, betrayal and anguish.

The boys were at a loss of words for a moment before Alex stepped up and looked at his sister softly "it was something we needed to do."

Olivia and Alex stared at each other before she looked away, she wasnt mad at him. She could never be mad at her brother no matter how hard she tried but it didnt mean she was ready to forgive them just yet.

"B-but we'll do whatever it takes, we'll play the next school-"

"What? Another dance where you can bail on me and make me look like a fool?" Julie exclaimed tearily cutting Luke off, the boys stared at her with gaping mouths not sure how to respond.

"Save it. You know what really sucks? Our songs were good, and the three of you knew how hard it was for me to play and then you do this?" Julie said.

"Bands dont do that to each other. Friends dont do that to each other. This was a mistake." Julie said sadly, Luke stepped forward a little at her words.

"You mean the school dance right?" he asked weakly.

"No, i mean joining a band with you guys." With that the Molina girl ran off, leaving the 4 ghosts by themselves, with 3 boys with crushing weights on their chest.

Olivia sighed as the boys turned around and looked at her with pleading eyes, losing Julie was the tip of the ice berge but they couldnt loose Olivia. They couldnt.

That girl had been the one thing that kept them sane and together all those years, the girl was an important part of their family and if she walked out on them they might actually go nuts.

"Olivia ..." Luke started, walking forward to the girl his voice gravelly and filed with sorrow.

Olivia shook her head at the brunette and turned to walk away but before she could make a move, a sharp electrifying pain shot through her chest sending her to ground with a yell of pain.

Apparently she wasn't the only one as she winced , she saw the guys suffer the same fate as her. All 4 ghosts groaned in pain as they rubbed their chests.

"What was that?" Reggie asked, Olivia slowly got to her feat and Luke ignored to the pain to rush to the blonde he loved so dearly.

"Olivia are you ok?" he asked worriedly, placing a hand on th girls armed but the girl flinched at the contact and backed away from the guitarist.

Lukes heart visibly shattered, she had never flinched away from him before. The look on her face made him want to get on his knees and apologise for every single thing he ever did wrong.

"Dont touch me." she whispered before poofing away.

The boys quickly poofed out after her and landed in the garage where Olivia stood, discarding her jacket on the table.

Alex and Reggie exchanged glances as they watched the 2 singers and slowly backed out of the garage to let them talk. they knew this wasn't thier fight, it wasn't about them at all.

Luke stared at the girl he adored and tried walking closer to her again, trying to place a comforting hand on her as he spoke softly.

"Olivia please don't be mad, i am so so sorry for everything that happened tonight but i just want to make sure you ok"

The blonde never got mad, Olivia was always the mediator. She never got angry or upset.

But in that moment, that second, the girl snapped.

"you know what Luke ? No, no i'm not okay. If i'm being honest you have been an absolute dick these past few days." The girl snapped at the guitarist and he flinched back.

"what?" he whispered.

" Luke, stop making it seem like you have no idea what im mad about, you have been in this little daydream ever since you found out people can hear us sing and sometimes I wonder if you can hear yourself?"  The girl said exparatedly

"and they way you guys just left Julie today? Even after you promised me you would be there on time. Luke you told me before you would never break out promises and it feels like your been doing that all the time this week" the girl said, she watched as Luke's face contorted into one of anger and hurt and she knew this fight was gonna hurt

" what are you talking about?We just lost track of time and stop being such a baby Olivia, promises get broken big deal ! and this whole being seen while we play is a good thing, why can't you see that?" The boy exclaimed as his voice started to rise as he waved his arms in the air

" you know its not gonna work in the long run Luke, stop trying to fix this band so bad that your losing sight of what's true : we're dead. Dead Luke, we cant possibly still perform and go on tour if we're dead" Olivia reasoned with him, trying not to let his words get to her.

"oh please you have been shooting me down all week, its annoying Olivia i thought you'd be supportive. But no your just being a little bitch like always" He seethed as he got closer to her.

"your pathetic Luke, you cant even get your head out of the fucking clouds. You have been dismissing me for Julie all week, been irresponsible and now you missed Julies gig and your taking it ou on me. Fucking pathetic patterson." Olivia exclaimed, hot tears threatened to run down her face but she kept it together. She wouldn't let him see her weak, she wouldn't let him win.

"Wanna talk about pathetic Olivia? You cant even fucking pick up a guitar! HELL you cant even stand on a stage without breaking down and crying like a godamm child. It  is exhausting to always be there to console you, to make sure you dont cry. Its pathetic that you cant sing in front of a crowd without having a fucking panic attack. It is exhausting Olivia god, you are such a bitch. Have always been a bitch" Luke yelled.

At this point they had gotten closer and closer to to the point where they were inches away from each other. Luke's eyes widened the moment the words left his mouth and Olivia's breath hitched.

The tears she had been holding back slowly flowed down her face as her mind swam with all sorts of thoughts.

"so that's what you think of me? Some annoying bitch who never stops crying and has pathetic panic attacks?" She asked as her voice broke, thick with tears.

Luke's hearts and mind was a mess as he thought of something to say, he couldn't belive he was said all those things in the first place.

He stared at the girl he fell in love with and his heart ached as the sight of the tears running down her face and her eyes. Her eyes were so empty, with nothing left but heartache and hurt.

"Ol please, please i'm sorry i didn't mean-"

"save it. I don't want to see you." she whispered thickly and before Luke could stop her she popped out.

she was gone , and it was all his fault
