"OH GREAT ANGLE, YES GOOD PIC!"

"Is this what we're here for? To watch people take pictures of their food?"

"It's fun!"

Alex shook his head as Reggie continued to observe the woman at the table they were sitting at as she continued taking a picture of the cinnamon roll she had bought.

The 3 ghost boys currently sat in a small cozy bar and cafe, Luke was at the cashier while Alex and Reggie sat at one of the tables and waited for him.

Alex and Reggie heard all of Olivia and Lukes fight last night and since then they had not spoken a word about it, Olivia was still missing and nobody had made a move to talk about her missing presence either.

Reggie had asked if they should go look for her but Alex shot him down, knowing his sister would have wanted some space to get her thoughts and emotions under control.

Alex was livid.

He couldn't believe Luke had said those things about her, had made her cry. Alex had not spoken to him about it but Luke knew it was coming.

Reggie was just mad that Luke had said those things to her, Reggie always felt protective about the small blonde, they all did. He couldn't help but feel pissed off that Luke would do that to her even though he clearly knew about what she went through.

Luke had been beating himself up since that night.

He had spent the night as his other band members slept pacing around the garage, scolding himself about what he had called the girl. He kept trying to come up with ways and words to make it up to her but he knew that this time, the chances of Olivia ever trusting him again were low.

Luke felt as if his heart had been ripped out; he genuinely hated himself for what he did to her and wished every second since then to go back and change things.

To say the least, tension was running high through their ghost band.

"Anyways, Luke said something about this place being a hotspot for music industry people." Reggie shrugged, he then leaned forward and cupped his hands to his mouth as he whispered to Alex.

"Are you sure we shouldn't be out there looking for Olivia?" he asked concerned.

"Yeah, I'm sure, when she's ready to talk she'll come back. I know my sister, don't worry." Alex said.

Luke let out a small "yes" as he walked over to a signup sheet on the cashier table and quickly scribbled "Julie and The phantoms' as one of the bands that were going to be playing there.

The ghost quickly made his way back to the table with a grin, "Boys! Being a ghost surely has its privileges. I just wrote our names on the playlist for tonight."

When he sat down, he didn't miss the way Alex glared at him from across the table. No doubt still pissed about what Luke had said to his sister.

"I'm getting a little worried about him, he keeps forgetting Julie quit the band, and my sister walked out on us and most definitely doesn't want to talk to anyone, thanks so much, Luke!" Alex said with narrowed eyes, causing guilt to bubble in Luke's stomach.

"Pretty boy messed up big time." Reggie sniggered softly from where he sat causing Luke to roll his eyes.

"Julies gonna come back as soon as she knows that we got a great gig!" Luke defended himself, deliberately avoiding the subject of Olivia.

"But if Julie doesn't come back, let's not forget. We do have somewhere else we can play and eat pizza." Reggie said, referring to Caleb's ghost club.

"Dude I know it was awesome to be seen by lifers at Caleb's party but... We got this with Julie. We don't need him." Luke said determinedly, but before the other boys could respond the same horrible electrifying pain shot through their chests once again and all 3 of them let out yells and groans of pain.

"Oh, it's that same thing again." Alex winced as he rubbed his diaphragm area.

"It feels like that time I was fixing my amp in the rain." Reggie quipped and Alex shot him a weird look.

"Do you think something is wrong with us?" Alex asked.

"Yeah, we ate 10 points of pizza yesterday without a stomach. Pretty sure it's just our bodies working through it." Luke shrugged but Alex didn't look convinced.

"So are we just gonna forget about Bobby? That jerk stole our music!" Reggie said.

"And he has to live with that guilt, it's like Julie said: We have a new band, a new sound. That's what we should be focusing on ." Luke said passionately, obviously feeling horrible about the way they had bailed on Julie last night.

"Hey isn't that Willie?" Alex asked as they all turned to face the window where Willie could be spotted looking into the cafe watching them, the long-haired boy immediately skated away after being spotted but that didn't stop Alex from running out of the cafe.

Alex watched as Willie skated away and the other 2 ghosts watched their blonde drummer with sly grins.

"Well, someone's definitely not focusing on our music."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Olivia had always loved the ocean.
When she was younger, her parents would take Alex and her out on daily weekend beach trips. But as the 2 teens got older the tradition slowly disappeared but that still didn't stop Olivia's love for the ocean.
As Olivia walked along the beach boardwalk, she slowly pried off her shoes and placed her feet in the sand. She sighed as the warmth of the sand gave her a sense of nostalgia and the girl continued to walk down the beach.
She walked to a spot near the ocean but not close enough where if the tide came in she would get soaked, she sat down in the sand and let out a sigh.
Since last night she had thought a lot.
About what Luke had said, about what he had called her. To say the least, she just didn't trust him anymore, she didn't know if she had it in her to forgive him either. She knew they had said what they said out of anger, they knew they couldn't take back what she said but she couldn't believe Luke had thought those things of her in the first place.
The same Luke that made sure he had an extra jacket in his locker in case she ever got cold, the Luke that was always available to help her with school work when her older brother was busy, the Luke that had stayed and baked with her at her house when she was sick and had nothing to do, the Luke that had danced in the rain with her when the rest of the boys didn't want to, the Luke that would get her an extra slice of pizza from the cafeteria on pizza day, the Luke who rocked her to sleep whenever she had a panic attack or went to him about something her parents had said, the Luke that had went to her crying in her arms when he ran away from his parent's house.
The Luke she fell in love with and secretly loved her back.
She thought about what he said, about how she was some crybaby and had pathetic panic attacks, and whenever she did it stung like a bitch. She could feel tears prick her eyes whenever she thought about it. Or whenever she thought about the way the color drained from his face when he realized what he said, the way he visibly broke at the thought of calling her that.
Olivia also felt bad about not going back to at least tell Alex she was ok, but she wasn't sure if she was able to keep it together if she talked to her brother about the whole situation.
She didn't know how she was going to face Luke again or whether she wanted to but she did know this; He was still her Luke, no matter what he had said he still cared about her.
Don't get her wrong, Olivia was still downright pissed, hurt, betrayed any kind of bad emotion you name she felt. But she knew they only said what they had said out of anger and frustration.
Olivia let out another sigh as she ran her fingers through her hair as they cascaded down her shoulders, the blonde closed her eyes and just listened to the sound of the waves and chatter of people at the beach.
"What do I do?" she asked no one in particular. It didn't hit her till then but she kinda missed her parents, when she was younger and her mom and dad hadn't started saying all those mean things to her the person she would usually go to when she was going through a tough spot was her mom.
Now she kinda missed it.
At the sound of singing the girl opened up her eyes, the familiar tune of the "Happy birthday" song drifted through the air and the girl whipped around to see a small family of three singing to a little boy who sat on the beach with a lighted cupcake in hand and grin on his face as his parents sang to him.
Her heart dropped, she couldn't believe she had nearly forgot it was his day.
She bit her lip as she decided what to do, she was still mad at him but it was his birthday. And after following him, she knew where he was gonna go and how hard that was gonna be for him today.
But when it all came down to it, it was always Luke and Olivia. Olivia and Luke. The 2 of them had a bond no one could possibly understand. From the day Olivia and Luke met at the old garage, the day they had shook hands it was as if life declared them soulmates. The 2 of them were each others best friends, they were always there for each other and had a bond so unbreakable girls in school would get jealous.
It didnt matter if they were tired, angry or upset. They always had time for each other and Olivia never knew how deeply Luke had fallen for the blonde girl over the years. She never took notice, she always just basked in the joy of having someone she knew she could trust and always supported her cause really olivia wouldnt know where she'd be if Luke Patterson hadnt entered her life.
It was always Luke and Olivia, it was always gonna be Luke and Olivia
She might not forgive him but she wasn't a monster either.
The blonde put on her shoes and stood up, poofing away before she could change her mind
