" SOO ARE WE NOT GONNA TALK ABOUT YOU AND LUKE ?"

"No, no we aren't."

The 2 Mercer siblings walked along Hollywood boulevard together, avoiding bumping into people along the way even though they knew they would just pass right through. It just made them uncomfortable.

"Ok then let's talk about what happened at school" Alex pressed and Olivia sighed with a bitter laugh.

"Alex let it go I'm ok" she shrugged

"Fine but you can't tell me you were ok with Julie joining the band, I saw your face when Luke mentioned it so don't even try to lie." He said with a pointed look.

Before the blonde could respond the older sibling gasped and she snapped her head up to see 2 men dressed in ghostbuster costumes coming their way.

"Alex wha-"

"Oh god we're busted," Alex said shakily and Olivia frowned, looking between him and the "Ghostbusters"

She watched amused as Alex's expression turned scared and started to back away, dragging his sister with him.

He clutched Olivia's arm as the 2 Ghostbusters were 2 feet away and exclaimed "oh god!" and "No!" but the 2 men just walked through them and Olivia sighed before laughing at the way Alex was crouched behind her in fear.

He looked up and peeked between his outstretched hands as Olivia said "their gone Alex, we haven't been busted just yet" she gave him a teasing smile.

The boy stood up straight and cleared his throat clearly embarrassed as a light shade of pink dusted his cheek.

"Ok yeah, I knew that, shut up."

The siblings continued down the boulevard in silence, both of them lost in their own thoughts before, out of nowhere, a figure came rushing towards the sibling and crashed into Alex from behind, sending him tumbling to the floor face first as Olivia's eyes went wide and gasped.

"Alex!" she said worried and bent down to check on her brother, the person beside Alex groaned but Olivia didn't pay him any attention .

"Are you ok? Does anything hurt? Did you break anything? Do you-"

"Livia Livia calm down I'm fine I promise," Alex said and the girl sighed and nodded, she got up and offered her brother her hand.

Once they were all up on their feet, the boy that had crashed into Alex held up his skateboard and sighed

"Aw man, you dinged my board!"

"Dinged your board-?" Olivia scoffed with a raised brow

"Dude you ran me over!" Alex accused with narrowed eyes.

Olivia was frowning at the boy till Alex's words sunk in "w-wait, you ran him over." she stuttered with widened eyes, Alex soon caught on to her words too as he looked at the boy with a confused and curious expression as well.

"You're a ghost?' Alex asked

"Oh yeah, ever since I learned the hard way that skating in traffic is bad." the boy said, he removed his helmet and freed his long hair, the brown locks flowing down his shoulder and Alex swallowed as he looked at him.

He was cute.

Olivia was no stranger when it came to Alex's crushes, so as she saw him watch the boy in front of them intently with his eyes sparkling just slightly she couldn't help but bite back a smile.

"Hey, uh-sorry I smashed into you. I thought you were a lifer and I would pass right through you." the boy said sheepishly.

The 2 blondes frowned slightly at his word choice

"uh a lifer?" Alex asked.

"Yeah thats, uh, that's what we call people who are living." the boy said and Alex nodded, slightly jittery.

Olivia knew it was because the boy made him nervous, but a good nervous.

"You guys are new to this whole ghost thing huh?" the boy asked with a subtle smile and Alex let out a nervous laugh.

"Yeah is it that obvious?" Alex asked

"Totally." the boy said with a smile and Alex's smile grew wider.

The 2 boys stared at each other with dorky smiles, Olivia cleared her throat with a smile and they snapped out of their trances.

"Hi! I'm Olivia and that's Alex, he's my older brother," she said with a knowing smile as Willie stuck his hand out to shake hers.

"Oh, I'm Willie," Willie said as he moved to shake Alex's hand.

The boy swallowed yet again as he pulled his hand away from Willies, his gaze never left his as Willie looked the blonde up and down, and if Olivia didn't know better, and she knew better, there was a small hunger residing in them which caused her to smirk.

"So Uhm, what brings you guys to Hollywood man? You sightseeing? A picture with the Marilyn girl? " Willie asked, pointing to the lady dressed as Marilyn Monroe behind them.

Alex smiled back nervously and Olivia decided to take this as a cue for her to leave the 2 boys alone.

"As a matter of fact, yes. I wanted to go sightseeing and decided to drag my brother along so I will just be on my way. Alex don't get lost okay and Willie it was a pleasure meeting you." The girl said, giving the long-haired boy a smile.

Alex's eyes widened nervously, as Willie smiled at his sister "yeah it was cool meeting you too, I'll see you around?" the boy asked politely with a grin.

"Oh for sure but for now I'm trusting you with my brother ok. I'm gonna go, see you guys." the girl grinned, the boys grinned back at her and waved as she poofed away.

When the girl poofed back into the garage, the strumming of the guitar filled the air and she turned to see Reggie and Luke jamming out casually.

They were mindlessly playing riffs on the guitar, fingers sliding over the necks of their guitar.

They were so engrossed in their music they didn't notice Olivia's presence.

"Hey guys!" the girl said, the boys stopped strumming and turned to face her.

"Hey Liv, get over here " Reggie called out and she walked over with a smile

"So we were thinking about it and how would you feel about officially inviting Julie into the band?" Luke rushed out with an excited smile.

Olivia blinked for a second before smiling "I think it's a great idea." she said and the boys cheered.

In reality, she didn't really think it was the smartest idea, how were they supposed to piggyback off Julie to be seen by crowds in the long run?

It wasn't realistic and she knew Luke knew that but he was just choosing to ignore the hard cold truth.

The same small feeling of jealousy crept up her skin but she brushed it away as fast as it came.

She liked Julie.. she had nothing to be jealous about.

Reggie was off at the side jamming his guitar and Olivia sat on a chair beside Luke, where he was on top of an amp.

"Luke"

"Ol"

They laughed before Olivia spoke up again with a teasing grin

"I have a question for you," she said, placing her head on her hand as she gazed up at Luke, the boy chuckled.

"Ask away"

"When we were working on "Bright" for Jules, I saw 2 songs in your songbook you never showed me before. I guess I was just wondering what they were-"

"Nah they're nothing, don't worry about them. Just some rough drafts I decided to scrap. Nothing special so you can drop it." Luke said slightly forceful, his eyes nervously flitting from his guitar to Olivia.

Olivia's eyes flashed with hurt but she ignored it and just responded with an "oh okay"

Inwardly, Luke hated talking to her like that. Heck, he hated not being able to tell her those songs were about her but he just couldn't tell her.

He just couldn't.

Olivia walked over to grab her guitar and plugged the cord into the amp and hopped onto the amp beside Luke and started to jam out too, trying to distract herself from the small feeling of hurt.

"Reggie, what do you think about this riff?" Luke asked, he started strumming an electric synth like riff, and Olivia couldn't help but smile at the beat, it was good.

"Sweet, I'm feeling that!" Reggie responded, jamming out to Luke's riff

"Then I come in with a little uh.." Reggie started a low base melody and Olivia started strumming a melody to bind everything together.

"And you guys rock it with something like this." she grinned at them as she strummed her guitar, and the boys grinned at her still strumming their guitars.

"And Julie comes in with her killer lyrics -"

"And Sunset Curve is reborn." Reggie finished Luke's sentence and Olivia's brows furrowed

"What do you mean Julies lyrics-"

"Guys you aren't supposed to be out here playing alone." Julie's voice rang ot and they all turned to face the young Latino.

"But we're not alone, cause we always have each other" Reggie beamed dorkily as Luke walked up behind him and slung an arm around the bassist with a grin.

Olivia walked to Reggie's other side, and he placed an arm around her shoulders and played with the ends of her ponytail.

That didn't go unnoticed by Luke.

Julie scoffed and unplugged the guitar chords from the amps as Luke rushed over to her, taking off his guitar at the same time.

"But- but we had the volume level on 1" Luke reasoned

"But we rocked it on volume 10, you want us to play it again?" Reggie asked innocently.

In response, Julie walked over to the last amp and unplugged Olivia's guitar chord from the amp and gave the ghosts a deadpan.

"I don't think she does," Olivia stage -whispered to the 2 ghosts.

"We've actually been waiting for you to get home. Ok, so we got some pretty major news to tell you. We had a band meeting earlier and... We want to invite you to join Sunset Curve! And no, you're not dreaming!" Luke exclaimed.

Reggie gave a squeak of excitement and Olivia grinned expectantly at the Latino, but Julie barely gave them any reaction.

She blinked at the ghosts and responded with an "oh"

Reggie and Luke's smile's dropped and Olivia frowned in confusion.

"O-oh, she uhm she said "oh" um... That's what you say when you get socks for your birthday, not when you're invited to join the greatest band ever." Luke said and Julie sighed

"Sorry I'm honored, but I can't think about anything but Flynn right now. She's still mad at me for lying, she still hasn't even texted me back" Julie exclaims upsetedly

Olivia nods in understanding "sorry, that sucks." Julie smiles at the blonde sadly.

"You're in a tough spot... so you wanna join the band?" Luke pressed, completely seeming to ignore whatever Julie just told them.

Olivia groaned and pinched the bridge of her nose and both girls spoke at once

"Read the room dude."

Julie started toward the door before Luke interrupted her

"Oh come on! we need you and you need us cause you need music! We found this poem that you wrote and Reggie and I, well and I guess Olivia but she didn't know it was for this, added his really cool melody to it, it sounds awesome! " Luke gushed.

Olivia whipped her head around to face Luke, her expression shocked "what? "

Not only was she hurt that Luke didn't even mention anything about Julie's poem or that the melody was for Julie's poem, but also because he just went through her stuff without permission and that pissed her off.

Had he not heard of privacy before?

"Where'd you find that," Julie asked slowly, staring at Luke as he pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket.

"Uh.. definitely not your dream box" Luke lied as he pulled Reggie in front of him as a human shield.

"You went through my stuff !?" the Latino exclaimed, she chased after Luke to get her poem back as Olivia and Reggie exchanged worried glances and walked towards them.

"Yeah, we can do that now!" Reggie said and Olivia grumbled "not now Reggie"

"No, you can't! Boundaries, give it back!" Julie exclaimed as she chased Luke around the piano.

"No! You need to realize how insanely talented you are!" Luke exclaimed as he hopped on top of the piano, hiding the paper behind his back as Julie tried to snatch it back

"Ok listen to this: if somebody hurts you, I'm gonna get hurt too. And my life -my life- will be real low, zero. Flying solo" Luke sang, the whole time his eyes trained on Olivia and the girl held his gaze.

Her breath caught and she wondered if he was dedicating the words to her.

Luke's heart was speeded up, hoping that Olivia would understand how true the lyrics were when it came to her.

"Ooohh" Reggie sang following Luke's singing, breaking the 2 ghosts out of their trance.

"It's a killer melody"

"I wrote that about Flynn when she was helping me with all my mom stuff. I gotta go." The girl said as she walked away from them and towards the door.

"Hey, what about the band? " Luke tried once again

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Stay out of my room!" Julie snapped at him before slamming the garage doors.

"Yeah? We will if you join our band! " Luke shouted after her

Luke grumbled under his breath and Reggie sighed but then they heard the sound of Olivia clearing her throat and they froze,they turned around slowly and shrank back. Olivia glared icily at the boys and they gulped in fear.

"I think it's time we have another lesson about privacy."
