"Stop whining and drink it." He held up the spoon of the medicine to her mouth, trying to get her to open her mouth.
"But it's bitter as fuck, I don't want thattttt."
"Medicine should be bitter, just do it. You'll feel better after that."
"Nooooo."
"Y/n, you have a fever, open your mouth."
"Make me." That's it.
"Gladly." A pair of hands appeared out of nowhere and held her mouth open, she tried to get away but another pair held her in the place as XD shoved the spoon at her mouth, shutting it. "Swallow it, now." She obliged, wincing at the bitter taste. Y/n's cheeks heated up, she avoided his gaze.
"I hate you." She choked out, coughing as the sets of arms disappeared into thin air. A low chuckle rumbled up from his chest, his face splitting into a smile.
"I know damn well that you don't."
"Shut up." Y/n pouted, laying down and watching as Patches hopped on to her stomach, curling up in a ball. "Lay down." He obliged, dropping down next to Y/n with a soft sigh. Patches started purring as soon as Y/n began stroking her head with her fingers.
"She began to take more liking to you, hm?"
"I guess. Well, of course. Everyone loves me." Y/n grinned cockily.
"They sure do." There was a hint of sarcasm in his voice.
"Well at least I have you." He looked down at her figure.

"Correct, you have me. I'd never abandon you." It drew a pleased hum from Y/n.
"Such a simp." She split into lopsided grin. He reached out his hand and placed it on her forehead, to feel the temperature.
"You're still burning..."
"I'll be fine-"
"You've been telling me that for days and you didn't feel any better." He cut her off.
"Don't be paranoid, XD." The medicine started kicking in, her eyes feeling heavy. She yawned and he removed his hand. "Don't. Your hand is so warm." Y/n grabbed his wrist and placed his hand back on her forehead. A quiet sigh escaped XD's lips, as she began drifting off to sleep. A soft golden glow emitted from his hand, engulfing Y/n's body, and disappeared quickly. DreamXD used his healing powers on her. She'll feel better after this nap. He brushed his thumb along her soft cheek, getting her to unconsciously lean into touch. A small smile played on his lips as he gently massaged her cheek with his other hand, chuckling to himself. He let his wing rest of her lap next to Patches and got more comfortable. The God summoned his screens, watching what's going on the SMP, seeing Quackity with Foolish and Purpled. He didn't like Quackity. Not at all. He was just like Dream but worse actually. But again, he couldn't interfere the flow of the events.

"Feeling better just yet?" XD asked Y/n as  she stifled a yawn, sitting up and stretching. Patches was gone already, he fed her and now she was in any dark corner of the house.
"Mmmm morning, XD. I'm feeling refreshed."
"It's not morning, but I'm glad you're finally feeling better. Wash up, I got you some food." She nodded, lifting to her feet and walking to the bathroom. He got the table ready, placing the plates with food on. XD got the tea ready and sat down, waiting for Y/n.
"Never imagined a literal God to serve the mere human." Y/n teased after exiting the bathroom and plopping down next to him.

"Well, I will stop if you want. I'm just doing this all because you said it was my fault that you got sick. I gotta make it up to you."
"Are you- are you for real? Dude, I was kidding." The God clearly stiffened.
"You-" The god let out the sigh. "Damn you."
"I just noticed that you don't cuss..." She quickly changed the topic, taking a bite from the steak.
"The gods do not cuss."
"Why not?"
"It's just- weird. A holy being is not supposed to cuss."
"Does it mean that Foolish doesn't cuss as well?"
"Correct. By the way how does it taste?"
"It tastes really amazing. But I can tell that you didn't cook it."
"Because I can't cook. You should teach me."
"One day, maybe. Where's Patches?"
"She ate and went somewhere, I don't know. Even if she gets lost, I'll be able to find her, don't worry."
"Good." She took a sip from her tea, humming. "You ate anything?" A shake of head in response.
"I'm not feeling hungry."
"Just be sure to tell me if you're feeling hungry. I'll cook you something."
"Thanks. I will take a shower now. You don't feel like using bathroom, do you?"
"Nah, you're free to shower." XD nodded.

"Where are we going?"
"That's what you mortals call a suprise. I don't want to ruin it so I'm not telling you." The Protector smiled, carrying the blindfolded h/c girl bridal style in his arms as she pouted. After several seconds they reached their destination. Y/n felt him land on the ground, but he still didn't let go of her. Y/n could hear the sounds of Endermen teleporting.
"We're here?"
"Yes. But don't open your eyes just yet, alright? I'm going to take off the blindfold." He received a nod in response. He gently settled her on the ground, a set of hands removing the blindfold. Her eyes were closed. "You can open your eyes." She obliged, a small gasp escaping her lips as soon as she opened her eyes. The sky above them was pitch black, dotted with few stars, the land they were standing on was yellowish, like sand but it was hard/rough. Endermen were everywhere. Several pillars out of obsidian surrounding the nest out of bedrock with huge dragon resting next to the nest. It's scales were shiny black, a purple smoke escaped it's maw, a pair of purple eyes boring into hers from afar. Y/n shivered under its gaze. "Don't be scared. She won't hurt you. Unless I tell her to do so. Which won't happen."
"Wh-where are we?"

"The End. My domain. I was trapped here for ages."
"The End? But- am I allowed to be here? It's forbidden as you said-"
"You're my friend, so it's okay." The God shrugged. He actually wanted to bring George in here but since George distanced himself... "Hey there lady, come up here." The Protector addressed the dragon. The beast lifted itself to it's feet and walked up to them, the ground shaking at it's every step. Y/n flinched, hiding behind his wings. The Protector reached out his hand and held it in front of the dragon, the beast responded with licking his hand. Y/n let out a surprised noise, eyes wide as he picked up her. "Put your hand above mine."
"No- I-"
"She won't hurt you if she finds out that you're not hostile." Y/n let out a shuddered breath, glancing at the dragon, who just flared her nostrils. She hesitantly placed her hand above his massive one, the dragon immediately getting curious and sniffing her hand. After making sure that the girl is not a threat, the dragon licked her hand, making Y/n flinch. But she broke into small smile right after the dragon nuzzled her hand into her and XD's palm at once. "Now, it's all good. See, it wasn't that hard, right?"
"Oh shut up." He shook his head, smiling a little.
"Down for a ride on dragon's back?" He offered her a hand.

"Wha- XD no, that's too-"
"Dangerous? Come on, you're not in danger when your Protector is next to you." Y/n let out a small sigh, accepting his hand hesitantly. He pulled her up to the air, supporting her body with another set of hands and settled on the back of the dragon with her. "Hold tight." The God mumbled, it drew a nod from the girl as she tightly gripped on his arms.

"Let's show her what a true flight is, yeah, lady?" XD addressed the dragon as it took into the air in swift motion, obeying the God. She flew past the pillars, up to the sky. Y/n yelped, making the God laugh lightly. They were above the pillars, high. Y/n buried her face in XD's robe, clearly afraid but he held her close to himself, supporting her. How in the earth was he even having fun? Right, he's immortal and has wings in case he falls out of the dragon's back. XD grins when the h/c girl clinging onto him finally gains some courage to peer her eyes open and look down. There's no land below them, pure void, they've crossed the island out of the yellowish stone. The dragon's pace was a lot slower, mighty wings flapping loudly and creating a gust of wind.
"Holy shit." Y/n breathed out.
"Like it?" His curiousity got better of him.
"I guess." She shrugged. DreamXD patted the dragon's side, making the girl chuckle. The ride went for a while, just them enjoying their time together.

The sound of metal clashing. The most pleasing sound of the battle. Despite the God's protests, she still went there. She was still fighting against others
Ranboo, Niki and Phil decided to break Techno and Dream out after hearing that Techno got locked up with Dream in the prison. Y/n decided to help them out. She somehow managed to talk XD out of joining her in the battle. He got...pretty mad about it. It didn't matter at the moment, since she had a bigger fish to fry. Y/n dodged the skull that Wither shot at her, blocking the hit from Sam who swung his sword mercilessly. He was pissed. He wouldn't hesitate to kill her or anyone who tried to break Dream and Techno out. But heck, that wasn't happening now. Ranboo and Niki were dealing with Quackity, while Phil was activating the TNT, so it was easier to destroy the walls of the prison. Y/n was getting an upper hand in the battle, she was a skillful warrior and wouldn't lose easily.

"Why? Why are you doing this? I saved you back there and you just-" Sam's movements were getting slower, he was growing tired.
"Sorry." She flashed him a small grin. "But Technoblade is my friend." She dealt a critical hit, he barely managed to block it with his shield before it broke into pieces. She kicked him in the stomach, sending him flying backwards until he slumped onto the ground, sword out of his grip. In a second, she was hovering above him, the tip of her blade pointed at his chest, ready to pierce his heart. But she didn't move. She just stared down at him, silently threatening him to not move. Sam gulped, breaking the eye contact.
"I wish you were the same." Y/n blinked.
"What?"
"You've changed. A lot. You're not the same girl I used to know before."
"Well, cry about it." She grinned down at him. He just scowled at her response, slowly lifting his knee so she wouldn't notice, but of course she did. "Sam." She warned, voice low. But he still tried to sweep her off her feet, it was a failure. She quickly jumped away, but before he could get up, she got behind him and pressed the tip of her sword to his throat. The warden froze, blinking.

"Come on, kill me, what are you waiting for?"
"Why would I do that? Isn't it better if I just...do this?" She brought the edge of her shield to his head, colliding it with his head, knocking him out of consciousness. One down. If she killed him, he'd respawn and be full of the energy, overpowering her in the battle, so no. Glancing back, she saw that Quackity was knocked out as well and her teammates were planting as much TNT as possible all around the prison, focusing mainly on the hole that Philza created on the wall. They had to be quick before the entire SMP flooded in here. After several minutes, they reached Dream's cell, thankfully, both were in good condition. Well, Dream looked pretty beaten up from Quackity's tortures and a little mentally unstable but he'd be fine if he was given time to recover. While Techno wasn't even affected by all of this. Knowing that it would be risky to keep Dream in Phil's and Techno's house, it was decided that he's going to stay in Y/n's house for a while, if something she'd hide him. It was a better idea because not everyone dared to approach the house where lives a literal God. Not that she minded though. It would fun. Although, DreamXD would mind. Currently he was watching this all through his screens, he was even more displeased than before. Y/n and Dream drank the potions of invisibility to avoid being followed.

"Uh, thanks for saving me out there." Dream said from her side. He couldn't see it but Y/n nodded. The rest of the walk was silent, till they reached the snowy biome. The effect of the potion wore off.
"Take my jacket, so you won't get cold." She was wearing a sweater so she would be fine.
"No need-"
"Just take it." He let out a sigh, accepting the jacket and throwing it over his shoulders. It was warm. Dream glanced at Y/n, her face unreadable. Dream still couldn't believe that he was out of that goddamn prison. After several minutes of walking, they arrived to their destination. Well, XD was standing next to the house, arms crossed. Dream stopped in his tracks.

"Y/n."
"XD, let's not talk about this for now, alright? Please?" XD huffed, but nodded ultimately. He sensed that she was tired so he wouldn't pressure her for now. Y/n muttered a thanks and walked past him, into the house, Dream following her behind. The Protector glared at him and Dream returned the glare. Dream wasn't wearing a mask, unfortunately it broke when Quackity started torturing him. XD got inside as well, watching Dream's every move. When Y/n fell asleep, XD took this chance to talk to Dream.

"Listen here, Dream. If you try to hurt her in any way, I'll make sure that you suffer the consequences, got it?"
"Ha, you? Threatening me? What could you possibly do to me?"
"Hm, let me see. I could kill all of your friends and make you watch, I could kill you, I could just destroy this entire SMP, I could imprison you in inescapable prison, torture you and so much more, you know?" XD's tone was neutral, but in some way, it was terrifying. Dream shouldn't mess with the God, because the Protector would actually do what he says. Dream just shrugged it off. He wasn't scared of XD yet. How foolish of him. Dream just ignored the God for the rest of the day, busying himself with reading the books while XD was in Y/n's room, watching over her with the screens in front of him. He wouldn't want them to be attacked. Not on his watch.
