"Dream." He looked up, mouth stuffed with food. "Stop devouring the food so quickly, you'll choke! Slow down, it's not like someone will take it away from you." He flinched at the volume of her voice, the food he was chewing got caught in his throat and he started coughing. Y/n groaned and passed him a glass of water, he quickly drank it all, almost spilling the water out on his clothes due to his coughing. Patches who was sleeping on the couch woke up to the sound, just yawning and going back to sleep immediately. DreamXD rolled his eyes under the mask, slightly annoyed by Y/n paying Dream more attention than to him. He finally stopped coughing.

"Sorry." He choked out. "I haven't eaten anything other than baked potatoes for ages."
"I understand but slow down."
"Yeah, okay."
"XD? Why aren't you eating anything?" Oh so she finally remembered about him. How generous of her.
"I'm not feeling hungry, thanks." He muttered, Dream glanced at the God, curious as he took a bite out of a slice of pie.
"Isn't he a God? I thought he doesn't need food?" He questioned.
"I don't need food, but you see, it's not my true form, so I have to eat, drink and sleep for this body to function."

"Hm. I see." Dream mumbled, focusing on his food once again. It has been a day already and no one dared to get near Y/n's house. XD sensed Tommy, George, Sapnap and others getting near them but they would still keep their distance. The Protector's gaze was focused on the h/c girl, watching as she ate. Lately, he got this new habit, just stare at her. Admiring her pretty face, watching her every move, her smile. God, her smile. It was intoxicatingly adorable. And of course, Dream already noticed it. Oh how foolish of the God. To get attached to the mere mortal. Of course, there was a way to change that, but it's nearly impossible, plus, DreamXD didn't know that it was even possible. Only Dream knew since he read the Revival book and now had knowledge of it. Ah. Looks like someone's approaching their house. XD stood up, surprising Y/n and Dream.

"Tommy, Sapnap, Sam, Tubbo, Ranboo (I know that he helped Dream to get out of prison in here, but he just wanted to make it up to Tubbo and Michael since he can't abandon them, he said that he was enderwalking), Quackity, Punz, Purpled and others are getting near the house." He informed. He could sense that this time, they won't hesitate to break into the house if something. They won't back up. Upon hearing that Quackity was among them, Dream clearly tensed, as Y/n sprung to her feet as well.
"Dream, let's hide you somewhere." He nodded. "I have to find an invis-"
"Invisibility potion is not enough. I can teleport him somewhere else till this settles down. If you want, of course." The Protector offered.
"Oh that would be really helpful, please do that."
"Where-" Dream was about to ask, but disappeared in thin air with a wave of XD's hand. To the End.
"The End. He'll be safe there." Her eyes widened. The dragon- "The dragon won't harm him, don't worry." Y/n nodded hesitantly and plopped back down on the chair with a sigh. DreamXD sat as well, finally getting to be alone with her.
"Thank you."
"No problem. They're almost here. I can sense that they're hostile, I suggest you to stay behind me."

"Ah, there's no need, I can-" She was cut off by the loud continuous knocking on the front door. Y/n sighed, standing up and walking up to the door. XD did the same, standing next to her. She opened the door and was met with Quackity standing face to face with her, others behind him.
"Oh hi-"
"Where's Dream?" He cut her off. The God frowned. Who's he to cut her off? He really wants to be left without head, does he?
"What are you talking about-" This time, Tommy cut her off. XD's frown deepened.
"Oh cut the bullshit, Y/n, where is he?"
"I don't know-"
"Don't lie! I know that you're hiding him somewhere!"

XD wrapped his arms protectively around her frame, pulling her to his side and taking her place in front, thus shielding her with his body.
"XD, this is none of your business. Don't interfere." Quackity readied his axe. Ah. How stupid. He really wants to challenge the God? It pissed off the God.

"Oh do you really think you can order around?" His voice got higher so everyone could hear him and everyone started getting their weapons. "You mortals are indeed stupid." He shook his head.

"Do you want to fight me? Seriously? Do you think you are able to defy the God?"

"XD, no, wait-" Y/n was about to stop him.
"So be it." Oh well. The lighting struck them all, gaining yelps and shouts of pain. XD was quick to push Y/n inside who tried to protest but failed and he blocked the house with the walls out of bedrock. He took off into the sky, switching to his full form. Although... he looked slightly different this time, the golden 'XD' on his mask was replaced by oozing black one, same with his halos, the white parts of his cloak were pitch black, the tips of his white wings were also black, a scythe appearing in his hands, he struck them all with lighting while summoning the TNT and lighting it, watching as chaos unfolded. Some were trying to shoot him but none of the arrows reached him, breaking the mid air. It was impossible to defeat him. He flew down, actually switching to close combat. The God clashed blades with Tubbo, the impact sent the boy flying back, next was Sapnap. The God was too occupied with fighting them, to notice the hole in the ground next to the wall of bedrock Y/n dug to get out.

"XD! St-" He heard her voice, and his head snapped to the source of it, only to see that she was already captured by Sam and Quackity, Sam's sword around her throat, ready to slit it. It was his breaking point. The God growled lowly, displeased. The storm roared, the most powerful lighting struck the mortals, except Y/n of course. The strong gust of cold wind swept mortals off their feet, as XD teleported right next to Sam, who was on the ground already. With a wave of his hand, one of the Ender eyes that were floating around him, flew to Y/n, engulfing her in some sort of golden barrier. XD's scythe formed into a sword, the blade leaking the neon green poison. The sword's tip grazed Sam's chest, digging deeper and deeper. Sam thrashed around, grabbing the blade with his bare hands, trying to get it away from him. He only cut his hands. The poison was already running in his blood. Sam felt like his body was on fire, his blood boiling, the oxygen escaping his lungs, his head spinning and vision going dark as blood poured out from his wounds on the chest and hands. He screamed in pain as XD's blade mercilessly dug deeper into his chest.

"H̶̪͍̒ͥ͑̓ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚ẅ̷̷̢̟͇͈̒ d̸̡̩͍̔ͥ͜ȍ̸̢̢̮͚̐̚ę̷̵̧̖̫̗̆̊s̩͙͖̋͛͟ i̵͓͙̱͚̎͟t̴͕͖͓̀ f̷̵̫̞̉͢ę̷̵̧̖̫̆̊ę̷̵̧̖̫̗̆̊ḻ̸͈ͧ͑̓̓̀͡?" 

Oh, he was going to make their lives an utter nightmare. And he was going to enjoy it as well. Sam couldn't even move anymore, body going limp, paralyzed. He also couldn't talk. XD pulled out the sword from the wound and the sword transformed back to the scythe. Suddenly, the sky darkened even more as XD opened the portal to his dimension, summoning the Ender dragon. The Dragon set the terror on the faces of the humans and she immediately aimed for paralyzed Sam on the ground.

He got on her back and commanded her to attack the humans and the beast was more than glad to oblige. She started throwing balls of dragon fire at them, thus burning the nearby trees. The God was listening to the sound of people screaming below them, as he summoned even more lighting. It only got better as Techno and Phil joined the battle with their Withers, attacking others. Tubbo was about to activate and use his nukes, but XD was faster, with a single wave of the hand, he made it disappear. Nothing was impossible for him.
'XD, what's happening?' Foolish contacted him.

'Fun things.' It was his answer. Foolish started questioning him later but XD didn't respond anymore, focusing on the fight. Some were already retreating, Quackity was nowhere to be seen. Probably ran away first. What a coward. XD tsked, he'll deal with him later. He knew that Quackity was on his last life, so of course he wouldn't kill him. But he wanted to so badly. The God glanced down at the golden bubble Y/n was trapped in, she was trying to get out. Too bad, she can't do that. The God watched as the last of the rebels ran away. He got off the dragon, sending her back to the End and walking up to Techno and Phil after the Withers were defeated.
"Oh, hello DreamXD." Techno smeared the blood on his face with his hand.

"Hey XD." Phil also greeted, sheathing his sword.
"Thanks for the help. It wasn't necessary to risk your lives, I could manage perfectly fine."
"Oh it's nothing, you know, I'm always down for fights." Techno shrugged it off, sheathing his own sword as Phil laughed.
"I will reward you anything you wish, just ask."
"A stack of potatoes and a bell."
"A bell?"
"Don't question it."
"Okay." DreamXD summoned the bell out of thin air, along with two big bag of potatoes, gifting them to Techno.
"Thank you, thank you." He just nodded, switching his attention to Phil.
"Uh, no I don't need anything." Phil chuckled awkwardly. The God cocked his eyebrow at this.
"Netherite? Golden apples? Emeralds? Nothing?"
"Nope, we have enough of them." Phil watched as Techno started playing with the golden bell.
"Hm, okay. Thank you once again. By the way, Dream wouldn't be staying with us." Techno nodded. He was about to walk away but stopped when he got another question from Techno.
"Why do you look different, DreamXD?" DreamXD frowned.

"I wouldn't like to answer that. I apologize, I have to go." He said, teleporting to the barrier Y/n was in. Phil and Techno took this as a sign to leave. The barrier disappeared with a wave of his hand, freeing the girl.
"What in the fuck- what the fuck was that?!"
"They deserved it." He shrugged.
"What the hell- now they're going to be afraid of you even more! You even killed Sam!" She paced back and forth, frustrated.
"Technically, I didn't kill him, the dragon did."
"But you summoned the dragon so she could kill him!"
"...So what? I don't care, if it's necessary, I'll keep them under the fear to protect you." How in the hell he's able to say shit like that so easily, without getting flustered? Y/n opened her mouth to say something but she closed it.
"You- dumbass. Don't say stuff like that."
"What? What's wrong?"
"Ugh. Nevermind, whatever happened to your attire?"
"Oh, uh... Nothing special, don't pay attention to that."
"Fine." Y/n sighed, looking around and whistling. "How in the fuck are we supposed to live here now?" The ground was destroyed, blood was everywhere, flames on the trees, bedrock walls around their house.

"Don't fear, little one. I'm able to fix it." With a snap of his fingers, everything was back as it was used to be. All the blood and flames were swept away, the ground was fixed and the bedrock walls disappeared as well. Y/n's eyes widened, a smile tugging her lips.
"I didn't know you could do this."
"I have power to make everything possible. I'm a-"
"A God, yeah, yeah. I know."
"Right."
"Let's go inside?"
"Yeah of course. I still have to bring Dream back." Y/n went ahead and got inside, XD following her. Of course he wouldn't leave her alone after this incident, he simply couldn't. It was way too dangerous, they could strike again while he's away. If they dared and wanted to be actually killed the  next time of course. He was back at his usual form.
"Oh right, Dream." XD teleported Dream back to them. He wouldn't stay here for too long, though.
"Holy fuck, I thought that I got trapped in there." Dream breathed out. "I heard that Sam died to the Ender dragon? What the hell happened?" After a brief explanation of events, he was told that XD will get him new home soon, armour and supplies to live by himself, alone. Or with George, since he missed him so much. Either would do. But there always was a chance of him getting murdered by Sapnap or anyone else.
