Leilani Andrews. What words are there to describe Leilani Andrews, cousin of mine? Well, I have come up with plenty. Ignorant, rude, a bitch, a snob, annoying, and surprisingly those are just the ones that are appropriate. But, I couldn't disagree with the fact that Leilani was also beautiful. Her face was almost always well-composed, and her posture was absolutely perfect. Her shoulders constantly back, her head constantly raised, and her side profile just as perfect as the front.
"Oh? And who may this gentleman be?" Leilani strutted over to us in the doorway, brushing her silk sandy-brown hair out of her face and tucking it behind her pierced ears, a smile appearing on her heart-shaped lips.
"Hi, Leilani. This is my friend, the babysitter, Ray." I sighed and put on a fake smile.
"Babysitter huh? So I assume you're good with kids?" She barely even acknowledged me, her eyes were locked on the tallboy standing beside me.
"Sure, I guess." He nodded and kept a blank expression plastered on his face.
"Come on, let's go, Ray. Alex is probably ecstatic knowing we're both going to watch him today." I tugged on the boy's school uniform sleeve, rolling my eyes at the girl.
"Right, let's go."
"Alrighty then! I'm going to head off to work now, and Y/n you don't mind if Leilani stays with you guys, right? She'll tell you how long she's staying, etc."
Fuck no.
"Oh yeah, that's... fine." I turned to my mom and nodded. If I don't ask her now, I won't be able to go. "Wait, mom! Would it be okay if I go to a party tonight? Ray, Emma, and Norman will be there, and I won't wake you up coming back late because I'd sleep over Emma's."
My mother thought for a moment before replying. "Sure, but what about Leilani? Could you take her? I wouldn't want her to feel left out."
I opened my mouth to debate but closed it along with my eyes, inhaling a deep breath. "Well Leilani can't sleepover Emma's, so how'll she get home?" I opened my e/c eyes and blinked.
"I can just walk back here, I'll be careful I promise!"
This whore doesn't take the hint.
The woman sighed, "fine, okay. You can go."
"Thanks, mom."
"Thanks, auntie!" My cousin lifted herself up and sat on the edge of the granite counter.
Auntie? Seriously? What is she, five?
My mom nodded in response before walking out the front door.
"Why are you here Leilani?" I glared at my cousin.
"What do you mean? I just felt like paying a visit!" She smirked. "I'll be staying for a week, by the way. Mama didn't want me to miss too much schoolwork."
I crossed my arms and tapped my fingers on my elbows. "My mother told your mom about how we have a new babysitter, and once you found out he was a boy our age you just had to meet him. Am I correct?"
Leilani blinked and stared at me in shock. "So you are smart, huh." She jumped off the counter and rested her hand on her hip. "So I'm sure you know that I intend to steal Ray here from you."
"I'm sorry, what?" Ray raised an eyebrow in confusion. "What exactly do you mean by steal? Y/n doesn't own me, nor will you."
"Ooh, he's feisty. Just my type!" She rushed over and clung to his arm.
He rolled his eyes and shook her off of him. "Well you aren't my type, and frankly you're extremely annoying."
Sometimes Ray is actually smart, this was one of those times.
She gasped as if she hadn't seen it coming. "Frankly I think you're very rude!"
I laughed at the fact that, unlike all the others, this boy wasn't going to fall for Leilani Andrews that easily.
"Whatever. Y/n, let's go see Alex now, shall we?" He lowered his eyes to mine.
"We shall." My lips curved into a smirk as I led him into Alexander's cramped bedroom.
Leilani groaned and shouted at us, "whatever! You may not like me Ray, but plenty of other boys do! And I'll find someone way better than you at that party!" She huffed.
"Ray, Y/n!" Alex squealed and pulled the two of us into a hug, even though we were both much taller than him.
"Hey, kid." I smiled brightly and patted his head.
"Hi buddy," Ray chuckled at him.
"Are you both watching me today?" He tilted his head slightly and looked up at us.
"Unfortunately." I teased causing the boy to pout.
"Oh, I'm only kidding," I laughed.

"Is this the right address?" Ray inquired.
I looked at the crumbled-up piece of paper in my hand and took a deep breath. "Yup, this is it."
We already knew it was the right place by the blasting music and the cars parked out front, but we just had to be sure.
"Woah, so are you friends with this guy or something? Because holy fuck he's rich." Leilani said, mouth agape.
"No, Leilani. We aren't friends." I followed Ray into the house with my cousin following close behind. "Leilani, just leave us alone for the rest of the night, don't drink too much, and get home safely. Okay?"
"Okay." The girl huffed and rolled her eyes, making her way into the crowd.
"Where to first?" Ray gazed over at me.
I blew a strand of hair out of my face. "I dunno', I told you already, I don't do parties."
"Right, right. Sorry, Ms. Loner." He chuckled, although I rolled my eyes.
"Emma and Norman aren't here yet, so we might as well go get a drink." He began to make his way through a modern archway before stopping and turning back to face me.
"Do you drink alcohol? If you don't, I won't drink either. It doesn't matter to me."
"Oh, I do," I smirked and pushed past him into the kitchen.
"Desperate?" Ray grabbed a red Solo cup and filled it with whatever was filling a large cooler. The beverage was a red color, it looked almost like a fruit punch. If you asked someone what it was, they'd just reply with, "no clue," or, "everything that gets you there."
"Everything that gets you there," whatever that means. I assume it means "everything that gets you black-out wasted."
"I guess you could say that."I scoffed and filled up a red Solo cup with the same beverage as Ray. "So, did Emma and Norman say when they're going to get here?" I questioned as I drank from my cup.
"No, I assume it'll be soon though," Ray answered and leaned against a gray wall, in what we assumed was a dining room.
"Do you know if Emma's parents will be home tonight? If they are, we probably shouldn't drink too much or else they'll smell it off of us."
"Smart thinking, but thankfully, they won't be home. They had a meeting a town over."
"I see, good. So then I can drink as much as I want!" I sighed with relief and excitement.
"Don't drink too much or else I'll be the one stuck taking care of you, and I've already babysat enough for one day."
"Oh don't you worry about me, I can take care of myself." I laughed. "Hey, do you wanna go see what everyone else is doing? The music is loud, let's go outside." I covered my ears, practically having to yell over the music.
"Sure," He covered his ears as well and followed me out the patio door where about 20-ish people were sitting in a circle, including Norman and Emma.
"Emma, Norman! We didn't think you guys were here yet!" I grinned and waved to them joyfully.
"Oh yeah, we got here a while ago, sorry we assumed you weren't here yet!" Emma smiled at us and gestured for us to join them. "Come, sit! We're about to play truth or dare!"
"Truth or dare? That's risky." I giggled and sat next to my best friend, Ray taking the seat beside me.
"Ahh, welcome to the party you two!" An attractive boy with dark brown hair smiled at us. "My name's Caleb, nice to meet you." He stared at me. It was obvious he had immediately taken a liking to me, although at first, I hadn't caught on.
"I'm Y/n, and this is Ray," I smirked.
"Is he your boyfriend?"
"What? No! He's barely my friend."
"I see," He smirked. "Well, who wants to go first?" He cupped his knees with his hands, sitting straight. Nobody said anything, it was silent for the most part other than the music from inside creeping out from the patio door.
"I guess I'll go!" Emma smiled. He nodded and waited patiently for Emma to choose somebody. "Norman! Truth or Dare?" She leaned towards the albino boy and giggled.
"Truth." He said with confidence in his tone.
"Hm, who was your first crush?"
"My first crush? Well, I'm pretty sure it was that one explorer girl from that kid's show. I was five, okay?" He laughed.
"The explorer... You mean," Suddenly I burst into a loud fit of laughter. "DORA!?"
"Yes, her!" Norman pointed at me then covered his face, letting out a loud laugh.
"You had a crush on fucking Dora?" Ray laughed with us.
"YES! I WAS FIVE, OKAY?"
After a few minutes, the circle finally stopped laughing, wiping tears of laughter from our eyes.
"Alright, alright. Who should I choose next..." Norman chuckled and looked around the circle.
Norman ended up choosing some guy I was unfamiliar with, I learned that his name was Leo.
We continued to play truth or dare for about 2 hours. Every few minutes someone would leave and bring refills for a few people. Ray only had 1 drink throughout the whole night which was the one he got originally, but I ended up having 7 of the unknown red beverage.
"Okay, okay. My turn to ask someone." Caleb spoke and scanned the circle for barely a second before locking his eyes on my heavily drunken self. "I choose Y/n. Truth or dare?" He smirked.
Ray clenched his fists that were resting on his knees.
"Mmm, I choose Dare." My words slurred.
Caleb bit his lip, knowing that no matter what the dare was, I'd do it. "Let me kiss you."
He's taking advantage of me.
"What?" I stared at him in shock.
"You heard me, do you accept the dare? Don't tell me you're chickening out."
"Caleb stop pressuring her." Ray hissed.
"I accept," I smirked, ignoring Ray.
Caleb smiled and leaned across the circle towards me, raising his fingers gently to my chin, lifting it up towards him. I raised my eyes to look up at him and leaned in. Our lips had barely even connected before I was yanked up by none other than Ray.
"I think we should go now, Emma was just saying how she wanted to leave, weren't you, Emma?" He glared at the ginger.
"Well, I did say that. But I feel like staying now." Emma tossed the house keys to Ray. "My house is just up the road, remember. Norman and I will get there soon." She and the white-haired boy both smiled at the two of us.
"Thanks." Ray spat out and dragged me through the patio door.
"Heyy, I don't wanna go yet!" I hiccuped after slurring my words.
"Too bad, we're leaving." He shook his head and continued to drag me through the house. "You've drunk too much."
"Sorry, dad." I rolled my eyes and sighed. "You're so lame."
"I'm not being lame, I just know you'll regret drinking that much in an hour or so. Speaking of which, you'd better start drinking this." He tossed me a bottle of water, still gripping tightly onto my wrist, pulling me down the sidewalk.
I groaned and managed to take the cap off somehow, but dropped the cap. "Whoops! There goes the cap!" I snorted and began to chug the water.
"Don't go anywhere, stay put." Ray turned around for one second and stuck the key into the lock, jiggling it around until the door opened.
He turned around to drag me inside but saw that I was sprinting up the road. "What the actual fuck." He began to chase after me, grabbing my wrist once more.
"Let me gooo! I want to go back to the party!" I whined and broke free from his grasp, as I was squirming around too much.
Fed up with me, the dark-haired boy picked me up and tossed me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
"Woahh, the whole world is upside down. Freaky." I said between giggles and hiccups.
He closed the door behind us and eventually placed me down on the basement couch. "How are you feeling shithead?" He smiled at me, who was a complete mess.
"Pretty gooood." I held up two thumbs up, giggling.
"Mhm, that won't last long." He sighed and just sat there next to me, on the floor. "Tell me if you feel sick, okay?"
"You got it." I smiled, then began to cry.
He stared at me in confusion. "Why the fuck are you crying?"
"I just thought of something REALLY funny." I laughed wiping away my tears of joy.
"You have serious issues." He scoffed and shook his head, just staring at me.
"Ray I'm starting to not feel so-" I covered my mouth and ran to the bathroom, barely reaching the toilet.
Ray sighed and followed after me, sitting next to the toilet as he held my h/c hair back. We stayed there for about an hour, Ray forcing me to drink water to stay hydrated.
"You were right, I shouldn't have drunk that much." I chuckled and lowered my eyes.
He smirked. "Mhm, you drank a lot. I bet you could've won an award for being the person to drink the most of the mystery beverage."
"Mom would be proud." I let out a loud laugh before returning to the toilet. I sat up again and wiped my mouth on a piece of toilet paper. "This is disgusting, I'm disgusting." I sighed.
"No you're not, everybody gets sick. It's normal." He handed me the bottle of water.
"Thank you, Ray, really. I'm glad you're here with me and I'm not going through this alone."
He smirked. "Of course."
"I think it's all out of my system now. Could you uh, help me up?" I smiled nervously.
He nodded and stood up, gently pulling me up with him. I looked at myself in the mirror using Ray's shoulder as support. "Oh wow. Do I look like I could be in Covergirl or what?" I laughed.
"You look good even at your lowest, I swear."
A blush formed over my already rose-colored cheeks. Did he seriously just say that?
"Just kidding, you're ugly." He laughed.
Oh, he was just kidding.
"What a bitch." I giggled before washing my face with water. "I'll deal with the rest of the looks of me tomorrow, I'm exhausted." I yawned and rubbed my tired eyes.
"Oh, I bet you are." Ray sighed and followed me into the living room where we'd be sleeping. It was dark, as the light that had been on was only a lamp in the corner of the room.
"You can sleep anywhere, I'll turn on the tv if you'd like." Ray sat down on the couch facing the tv and flickered through the channels on a tv remote. I sat beside him. He stopped flickering through the channels when he saw that one show obviously had me interested. "Would you like to watch f/s?"
"Yeah, please." I nodded and rubbed my eyes. "Is there any pillows or blankets down here?"
"Surprisingly there's no pillows, but there is a blanket. Here," He grabbed a blanket that had been draped over the back of the couch and turned to me, feeling something fall into his lap.
Ray couldn't help but blush when he realized what it had been. It was me, I had passed out and was using his lap as a pillow. The forest-green-eyed boy chuckled and draped the gray quilted blanket over me, making sure I was completely under it. He wouldn't want me to be cold, of course. He fell asleep watching f/s, one arm resting on the arm of the couch, the other resting over my peacefully sleeping body.

"Do you think they're asleep yet?" Emma whispered as she crept down the basement stairs.
Norman slowly made his way into the living room and stared at the two of us fast asleep.
"Oh yeah, they're asleep." He chuckled. "You've gotta see this." He whispered and gestured for her to see.
She looked over at Ray and I, peacefully sleeping. "Aw! That's so cute!" Norman covered her mouth in an attempt to cover her squeals.
"Sh, Emma, don't wake them and ruin the moment." Norman whispered.
"Right, just let me take a picture of this then we can go to sleep." She giggled and took out her phone, snapping a picture of the scene before them. "I really hope they get together." She smiled warmly.
"Me too, but it's obvious they will. I mean, just look at them. They're made for each other."
