Madison was running. And when I tell you she was running, she was like sprinting. A whole marathon.
The girl was kinda late. Her and Wen planned to meet at lunch and talk about songs and go over some ideas. After a lot of running, she finally made it and ran over to the table where she spotted the redhead.
"Wen, I'm so sorry I'm late. The teacher wanted to talk to me and just sorry." she rambled as she sat down and tried to catch her breath. "It's fine." he laughed.
Madison was so stressed she didn't even notice the dark haired boy next to her. After settling, she finally looked up and took out her song book.
"So. First, hey Char, I'm sorry I didn't notice you at first and second, I have a few songs here that I think sound great and you'd like."
"Hey, Madi." Charlie greeted her back, but couldn't hold back the laughter. Madi sent him a smile as she gave Wen her book. "The song is called Breakthrough."
Wen was flipping the pages one by one, searching for the song. "Wow. You write a lot of songs and they're... sad. But great." "Thanks?"
When the boy finally found the song, he started reading it, nodding his head. "This is awesome. You got a melody?" he asked. "Yup." Madi simply answered.
Madison grabbed her guitar and started playing the chorus softly.
Here comes a breakthrough
Here comes a day
Here comes a moment that you gotta go for it
So don't let it get away
It's all about breakthrough
Just turn the page
Cause every day, I'm getting closer
Life is just a rollercoaster
"That's dope." Charlie exclaimed. "I agree." Wen said. Madison smiled and high fived the two. She looked around for the possibility of the others being there and telling them about the song too maybe.
A familiar dark haired girl caught her eye, sitting alone at a table. Madi quickly got up and rushed over to Mo.
"You okay, M?" asked Madi. Mo thought a bit before saying anything. "If a guy doesn't call for a few days, should the girl worry?" she looked up at the girl. "Do guys do that?"
Boy advice. Oh god. She was not good at that. She never even had a boyfriend. "I don't know. I uhh, I never had a boyfriend. Or just a friend." she sighed.
"But, I think you should worry." she said slowly. A sigh escaped Mo's lips as Wen and Charlie came over. Wen leaned against the table, Charlie next to him. They looked between the two girls.
"What's up! Am i interrupting?"
Mo shook her head. "Nope. Just boy advice."
"I couldn't really help though, so." Madi said. Mo reached her hand towards Madi and put it on top of her hand. "You did help and thank you." she smiled.
"Anyti-" Madi was cut off by Charlie. "Guys." he said pointing behind Madi. The girl turned and looked over her shoulder.
The sight was enough for her to stand up and slowly start making her way over there. The popular jerks aren't leaving Olivia alone.
Madi picked up her pace and started walking, the others following her.
"What's going on?" Mo asked with her arms crossed. "We're just making small talk." Jules said as she held the drink that Olivia got for herself.
Madison scoffed, rolling her eyes. That tone and Jules herself was annoying. "Ray, come on bro. Why don't you just leave her alone?"
Ray turned around and looked at Wen. "Are you gonna make me?" he pointed to Wen and then himself. Madison grabbed Olivia's wrist and pulled her to them. "You okay?" she whispered. "Yeah, thank you."
"You're being a creep, Ray." Mo said as Ray pushed her out of the way. "So if you're not gonna make me, who's gonna make me?"
"Me."
Madison's look changed from anger to worry. Charlie is not going to survive this. As much as she likes to think he will, he won't.
"That's who." he said, confidence in his tone. Well, that confidence won't last long. "You?" Ray turned to him. "Yeah."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."
The blonde grabbed him by the arms and started pushing him back. "Okay. Ca-can-can't we talk this through?" "No, we can't talk. "Okay." "No."
Charlie looked over Ray's shoulder at his friends. "Wen. Wen." he called him over. The redhead came up behind Ray. "Yeah?" he asked. "A little help here." freaked the drummer.
"No, no, no. I'm a lover, not a fighter." explained Wen, making Ray push him away and turn back to Charlie. "Exactly." "Perfect, yeah."
Madison sent Wen a 'really?' look. Mo protested and Olivia just stood there shaken up a bit. This was pure chaos.
"Just make it quick."
"Ray, leave him alone." yelled Madi.
"Make it quick?" repeated Ray as he kept teasing him. "Yeah, make it quick." said Charlie. He closed his eyes, preparing himself for the worst.
"I have a better idea." suggested Stella as she tapped Ray's shoulder. He let go of Charlie and furiously turned around. "What?" he spat.
Stella smiled at him. "One second."
The girl took a sip of the lemonade they have been drinking since detention. She turned back to face Ray and next thing you know, Stella spat the lemonade onto Ray.
The cafeteria watched the whole thing go down. Mo and Olivia covered their mouths from shock. Madison couldn't be happier. "Hell yeah, Stella!" yelled Madi.
Everyone started laughing, including Charlie of course and Ray immediately attacked him. "You think it's funny?" "I-I don't think it's funny."
Stella threatened to spit it into Jules' face too, the others tried to get Ray off of Charlie.
As the fight broke out between the two groups, they didn't even notice the principal. "Woah, woah, woah, woah, woah, woah, break it up here! Break it up. Step away from the puddle, people!" he said as he circled around it.
"What is going on here?" he asked and of course, Ray needed to talk first. "Principal Brenigan, I went to go get a TurboBlast, and they just start threatening me." he lied right through his teeth.
Anger rushed through Madi's body again. She was not gonna get in trouble because of a lying jerk. A fight broke out again, but Ray went on with his little act.
"And next thing you know it..." he started as he grabbed Stella's hand with the lemonade in it and pulled her closer. "lemonade mouth over here, spits all over me."
And the fight continued.
And that is how we got our band name.

"You don't even know how thankful I am for Stella spitting that goddamn lemonade into his stupid face!" laughed Madison as she looked at Charlie.
The boy laughed with her. "Yeah, me too. But it was kinda scary when he grabbed me. He went all crazy." he admitted as he looked down at the ground.
"At least you stood up for yourself. And Ray doesn't matter. He's a jerk like every other guy in that school."
"By the way." blurted out Charlie, his eyes still on he ground. Madison hummed in response, turning to him. "When did you start writing?" he asked as he lifted his head up to look at her.
Madi looked away though. Nobody has ever asked that. Obviously since no one knew that she liked music and actually made songs. It was a hard topic for her to talk about. But she trusts him, right?
"I started writing when I was ten." she said softly. Madison stopped walking and sat down on the bench that was next to her. Charlie followed her actions and sat next to her.
"That's young. Why?" he continued as he listened carefully. "It was a way I expressed my feelings and it helped a lot." the girl explained, trying to hold in the tears.
She wasn't ready to tell him everything. That would take a lot more trust.
Charlie nodded understandingly. He knew she was hiding something, but the boy didn't want to push her and be rude so he brushed it off and left it alone. She'll tell him or the others whenever she's ready.
The tension between the two teenagers had become awkward. The silence was comfortable, filled with birds chirping, but it was awkward at the same time.
Madison took a deep breath and gathered her stuff. "Let's go." She got up from the bench and looked at the boy.
Charlie shot the girl a confused look. "Uhh, go where?" Madison let out a sigh, a smile kissing her lips. "To the Price residence, Delgado." "Oh."
The girl rolled her eyes as she reached for his hand. Madi grabbed it and pulled him up from the bench. The two walked to Madi's house.
When they arrived they immediately went to her room and played games, made some music, talked, even jammed to some songs while they danced and had the time of their lifes.
Together.
She had fun.

"Well, this is it guys." started Stella as she stepped out of the elevator, the others following her. "Our last rehearsal."
Madison was so excited. They were finally going to perform. After a lot of practicing, fights and decisions, they got it. And they were going to rock it.
The small surprise Stella planned for after the song, Madi can't wait to see Brenigan's face.
"Guys, I can't believe the Halloween Bash is tomorrow night." said Wen as he skipped down the stairs. "And Rising Star in a few weeks." exclaimed Charlie.
Madi laughed at that. "Don't even remind me."
The group laughed as they continued their way down the stairs. They were excited about Rising Star, but nervous still. And you can guess who was the most nervous.
Olivia.
They were about to turn on the stairs. A glimpse of Olivia caught their attention. She had stopped on the top of the stairs. The blonde looked terrified.
"Liv, you okay?" asked Madison.
"Fine. I'm fine. Totally fine." she shook her head. The five at the bottom of the stairs exchanged looks, which made it pretty clear they don't believe a word she just said.
The long haired boy turned and walked up the stairs. "We're all nervous, Olivia." he said as he grabbed her hand and pulled her down towards the rest. "Try terrified." joked Mo.
"Hey, come on you guys. We're gonna be great." Stella was so hyped. But honestly, who wouldn't be? "In fact, I think I know just the thing to make us feel better." finished Stella, turning around to face her friends.
"Lemonade!"
That smile on their faces quickly vanished when they saw the sign on the Mel's machine.
SCHEDULED FOR REMOVAL

Madison had just arrived at the Halloween Bash. She needed to get backstage asap. "Hey, Madison!"
Ray. And Scott too, appeared in front of her out of nowhere. "Ray leave me alone. Thanks." she said as she passed them, only for her to be stopped by Ray.
"We just wanna talk." he said, grabbing Madi's wrist. Madison turned around and looked at him. "Yeah well, I don't. Now let go of me. I need to go." she spat.
The singer turned her back on them and ran where the others are waiting for her.
"Madi!" Stella exclaimed as shs saw her appear. "Sorry if I'm late." Madison set her stuff down on one of the chairs. "Where's Wen and Liv?"
"We don't know where Olivia is so we sent Wen to look for her." Mo explained to which Madi nodded.
"She promised she'd be here." Stella said, disappointment in the tone of her voice. "Maybe she just got held up." Charlie excused the blonde.
Mo let out a sigh. She leaned closer to her band mates. "We're on in ten minutes."
Wen came running back after they sent him to search for her. "I can't find her anywhere." he informed them. The boy sat down and tried to steady his breath.
Well, the band's screwed. Olivia's gone and they have 10 minutes to find her. And they have no idea where she went.
The tech guy comes running with cables in his hold. "I don't have time. Those Mudslide jerks wrecked my set up before soundcheck. I'm telling you, it's sabotage." he informed the band.
Now they were even more screwed. "Doesn't matter. We can't go on with only one lead singer." Mo reminded the tech guy.
"Yeah. And I'm not going on alone because Olivia deserves to be there too." Madison protested as she leaned back in her chair.
"Olivia ran through here a couple minutes ago."
"What?" Stella said as she stood up. "That way." the guy said, pointing to the direction where she had gone. The band quickly got up and ran down that way. "Looked like she was about to hurl."
The bathrooms came into the picture as they got closer. The girls walked in, leaving Wen and Charlie standing in the doorway since, you know. "You in here, Olivia?"
"Olivia!"
The girls started searching for the blonde. They were checking the stalls, even looking under them. That made them sound like creeps, but they were looking at the shoes.
"Oh. Sorry, Jenna." said Stella as she opened the stall where a toilet flushing came from. Mo was looking under the stalls when she saw the familiar boots. "Found her!" she yelled, making Stella and Madison run over to her.
Charlie and Wen were arguing about coming in or not, but the decision was final when Wen yelled, "We're coming in!"
Mo pointed at the stall Olivia was in as the two boys walked in. Wen walked over to the stall, leaning on it. "How are you feeling, Olivia?" he asked softly. "I'm great. Super." she said, breathing heavily.
"Ha! That's my girl!" exclaimed Stella. "But it's- it's probably not the best idea for me to actually go out there you know, physically." Olivia explained with a shaky voice.
Madison felt bad for the girl. She was really nervous, like she was super close to letting all of it out of her. "We got plenty, thank you. Maybe next door?" Charlie sent away the girl who was dressed up as a toilet and was coming into the bathroom.
"Olivia. We've rehearsed these songs a million times. We've put everything we have in these songs." explained Stella quietly. "I'm scared."
"Liv, we all are. I am too, but we can do it. Together." Madison said calmly, hoping to somewhat comfort the girl. She walked closer to the stall Liv was in.
"We have like six minutes." whispered Stella.
They need to get her to come out of that stall. "What are we gonna do?" asked Mo. "I don't know."
Wen walked back to the rest. His eyes caught a glimpse of Stella's belt that hung around her hip. "What's that?" he asked. All of them looked at Stella.
A smile tugged at Madi's lips when she saw what Wen was talking about.
Stella looked down at her belt and popped out a lemonade. Mo held Stella's hand as Wen took the lemonade from her and walked back to the stall.
"Olivia." he whispered, lifting his hand up over the stall so he can pass it to Olivia on the other side. Olivia gladly took it and stared at it for a bit before opening it.
"We believe in you, okay?" he said. "I believe in you." whispered Wen after he leaned closer to the door. Madi and the others waited for the blonde to do something.
When the sound of the lemonade being open was heard, the band exchanged looks of hope. They patiently waited for her to come out and when she did, they cheered.
"I'm ready."
"Yes!" Stella literally shouted, throwing her hands up. Joy and happiness filled the bathroom as they embraced Olivia in a hug and walked out onto stage together.
The band was complete and ready to go.
They ran up on stage and grabbed their instruments. Madison grabbed her guitar and walked up to the mic stand that was placed between Stella and Olivia.
The lights turned on. It took Olivia by surprise and pretty much blinded her, so she covered her face.
The crowd echoed with boos as soon as the lights were turned on.
"Hey, uhh, nice costumes!" yelled Ray. He then looked closer squinting his eyes a bit. "Oh. You're not wearing any?"
This made the crowd laugh, which resulted in Madison rolling her eyes and continue setting up. Soon Wen started playing the piano.
Olivia
Trying hard to fight these tears
I'm crazy worried
Messing with my head this fear
I'm so sorry
You know you gotta get it out
I can't take it
That's what being friends is about
I, I wanna cry
I can't deny
Tonight I wanna up and hide
And get inside

I gotta live in my life
I know I, I know I
I know I gotta do it
I know I, I know I
I know I gotta do it
The girls
Gotta turn the world into your dancefloor
Determinate, determinate
Push until you can't and then demand more
Determinate, determinate
You and me together, we can make it better
Gotta turn the world into your dancefloor
Determinate, determinate

I know I gotta do it
The girls
Gotta turn the world into your dancefloor

They went crazy. Both the band and the crowd. Madi guessed people liked it 'cause they were jumping and cheering.
"We're Lemonade Mouth and umm, now few words from our lead guitarist Stella Yamada." announced Olivia to the crowd.
Stea gave Olivia a quick hug before Mo, Madi and Olivia brought
