"Come on, Charlie. It's a simple four-four beat. You're not even trying. It's B to B-flat, back to B, then an F-sharp. Ready?"

If you're asking what's going on, the band is trying to rehearse. And as you can see, it's not going so well.

"Okay, this is isn't working!" yelled Mo, making the rest stop playing. They did sound bad. "We'll get it. We just need to keep practicing. Also, maybe we need to go a little more hardcore." said Stella.

Everyone quickly turned their attention on her with wide eyes. A chorus of huffs was heard from them as Mo took off the bass. "That's it. I'm out of here."

"What? You're just gonna stomp away?" asked Stella. Olivia turned to Mo and shrugged. "Yeah, come on, don't leave."

"Incase you guys haven't realized, I'm clasically trained on the violin. I don't play whatever this is." Mo argued, packing her things up.

A sigh escaped Madison's lips. Was she really qutting? They did all of this for nothing then? They built a band. A friendship. All for that to be thrown away like this.

Charlie got up from the drums and started to walk away. "I- I'm- I'm out too." the boy stuttered. "What?"

"Charlie... guys." Madi looked at the two.

"Guys, look, come on. We can work this out."

"Yeah. Wen's right. Maybe if we just take it from the top one more time?" suggested Olivia, but they completely ignored her and continued packing up.

Stella shook her head. "They're quitting before we even started." she paused. "They're quitters!" Stella raised her voice at the two. "Shut up, Stella." spat Charlie.

"Mo!"

"Mo, please. Don't- wait."

Mo stopped in her tracks as soon as she heard Wen playing a melody. Stella, Wen, Olivia and Madi shared a smile. They were not giving up the band that easily.

Olivia took the mic and walked up to Mo, while Charlie went back to the drums and started playing.

Olivia
Can you see me?
'Cause I'm right here
Can you listen?
'Cause I've been trying to make you notice

What it would mean to me
To feel like somebody
We've been on our way to nowhere
Trying so hard to get there

And I say oh
We're gonna let it show
We're gonna just let go of everything
Holding back our dreams
And try
To make it come alive
Come on, let it shine so they can see
We were meant to be
Somebody

Mo and Stella
Somebody

Olivia
Somebody, yeah

Mo and Stella
Somebody

Olivia
Somehow
Someday
Someway
Somebody

Madison
We will walk out of this darkness
Feel the spotlight glowing
Like a yellow sun
Oh-oh-oh
And when we fall
We fall together
'Til we get back up
And we will rise as one
Oh-oh-oh

Girls
Oh
We're gonna let it show (let it show)
We're gonna just let go of everything
Holding back our dreams
And try
To make it come alive (make it come alive)
Come on, let it shine so they can see
We were meant to be

Somebody
Somebody, yeah
Somehow
Someday
Someway

Somebody

"Guys, did you really write that?" asked Stella out of breath. "Yeah." said Madison as she put an arm around the blonde and pulled her into a side hug.

Wen and Charlie high fived in the back as Stella held a shocked expression. "You guys! We are so winning a record deal!" she exclaimed.

The six of them laughed and cheered. They really just did that.

It was about an hour after the rehearsal and Madison was walking home. She was later than usual. And she guessed that her mom will be furious since she already called.

Not once.

But the girl didn't pick up since she muted her phone.

Madison still couldn't process what happened earlier. They played again and they were awesome. To be honest, she's so thankful for them.

True, they know each other for like three days, but they grew so close in that short amount of time.

There's just something about them, that makes Madi know that she can trust them with her whole life. No matter the situation.

The band is back.

Madison was full of serotonin after yesterday. She felt happy. The girl felt like... herself.

"This is something new." said Stella as she looked the girl up and down. "It's called happiness." she smiled. "Well miss happiness, we gotta go to a band meeting." joked Wen as he started to make his way inside the school.

Madison giggled, following him with Stella. School wasn't what they really expected. Everyone gave them weird looks.

"What's going on?" Stella whispered as they looked around. "Mudslide Crush. They're mad we cut their show short." explained Wen while he put his folder in his bag.

Madison rolled her eyes. "So?" asked Stella. "They are the 'cool' douchebags of the school and everyone loves them and if someone messes with them, basically you're immediately hated." Madison explained to Stella.

Wen cleared his throat before speaking, "And you can't forget. They're the pride of Mesa High." "Thank you." the girl replied sarcastically.

When they got to the elevator door, Stella pushed the button as she asked, "And what are we?" The redhead thought for a second. "We are rash-like, persistent."

"Hmm. Excellent."

"Yeah, perfect."

"After you two."

"Are we done with everything?" asked Madi as she helped Stella set up some stuff and organize. "Yup. Thanks again, Mads." smiled Stella. "Of course."

Olivia and Mo were laughing at something Mo had shown the blonde and Wen was trying to come up with a band name. It has been pretty difficult, so Madi wouldn't blame him for not coming up with one yet.

That's when Charlie arrived. The few of them opened their lemonades they got out in the hall. "I see everyone brought their official underworld badges." he smiled.

"Yeah!"

"We're subterranean and we're proud." announced Stella as she held her drink up. Madison raised hers too making the others do the same. Laughter echoed around the small room.

All of them drank from it. And as they did, that's when the flushing sound from above was heard, once again. Madi didn't know if she should make a face from the drink or the flushing sound.

The band got used to the sound. They looked up at the ceiling and started laughing. "Ew." said Mo, setting her drink down on the desk.

"All right. First order of business. A band name. We need one for the fliers." announced Stella.

"Okay, okay. What about Soul Groove?" suggested Charlie. The rest was quick to shake their heads. Madi thought the names she came up with in her head were bad.

"Umm. The Anarchists?"

"No." "Well, that's not so bad." Olivia supported the name. Madi liked it too, but it wasn't for them. "The Anarchists." repeated Stella as she gestured with her hands.

Madison drank from the lemonade as she thought about it. "I think it sounds pretty cool, but I don't think it fits us, Stell." Madison shared her opinion with the rest. Surprisingly, the others agreed.

"No. You're right. It's terrible. Umm, I'm gonna go get another lemonade." Olivia stood up and ran out of the room into the hallway.

Wen pulled out his notebook and started flipping through pages. "All right, look guys. I got one."

This caught Madison's attention. She walked over to him, leaning against Charlie's chair. "I'm curious about what he came up with." Madi leaned down and whispered to Charlie.

"Same."

"Umm, let me just find it. Oh." he said as he kept going through the pages until he stopped at one finally. "Wen."

"Wen?"

"He's kidding right?" Stella turned to Mo and then shared a look with Madison. Mads shook her head. She then looked between the two girls and couldn't hold in her laughter.

Wen looked at his friends with a serious look. "Come on. It's the whole one name thing, you know like..." he took a sip from the lemonade. "...like Bon Jovi."

Mo raised her brows and looked at the redhead. "Or Cher."

"Back off the Bash." said Olivia as she stormed into the room. That does not sound that awful. "What kind of band name is that?" laughed Stella. "I love it."

Madison cocked a brow. She parted her lips to say something but quickly closed it when she saw the paper in Liv's hand. "It's not a band name." she blurted out.

This made the rest even more confused. Madison furiously walked over to Olivia and grabbed the paper out of her hands.

Back off the Bash... or else!

"Jesus." she breathed out, handing the paper back to Olivia. She was so annoyed and angry. What did they want with them? Couldn't they just be a band and have fun?

Olivia lifted the paper and showed it to the rest. "This was on the door."

Stella turned the blonde's hand to take a better look at the paper and not a bit after, Charlie got up and ripped it out of her hand.

Well, this is just great.
