Previously:

"Let's all calm down..." I reasoned but it seemed that no one was listening.

Kiran's whole demeanor changed, as well as his hair color and eye color. His grayish-black hair, dark red eyes, and darker clothes told me something. Mavra's here.

Now:

I quickly hopped off Monoceros as the two dark figures glared at each other. They both gave off a darker aura, making them each seem scarier than their original normal counterparts or personas.

The two glared at each other as the forest around us filled with nothing but the sound of the wind and the trees rustling.

"Unholy Spear!" Mavra yelled, a black spear with surging darkness appearing in his hand. Monoceros quickly followed with a spell of their own.

"Death Horn!" Monoceros boomed, making the horn on their bone helmet expand largely as it emits black particles.

The two dark figures ran towards each other at full speed that it almost seemed like they teleported.

The spear and the horn collided, almost sending sparks flying from the impact.

Mavra jabbed his spear at Monoceros, to which Monoceros raised their front, standing on his hind legs.

Monoceros stomped down, causing Mavra to stumble back. Monoceros swung his sharp horn at Mavra, cutting Mavra's forearm. The cut on Mavra's forearm was fairly big as blood covered part of his sleeve.

My mental timer counted down, indicating when we need to defeat Kiran - or Mavra.

10 minutes.

The blood-red gem on Monoceros' forehead shined brightly before the gem darkened to a dark red.

"Bloodlust!" Monoceros exclaimed as Mavra put a hand over his wound and yelled in pain.

"What the hell- AGHHH!" Mavra yelled as he clenched his hand on his forearm. Monoceros' eyes glowed red as a sinister expression appeared on both Mavra's and Monoceros' face.

"Heaven's Sins!" Mavra cast as he touched the leg of Monoceros.

Dark mist shrouded the area with all of us caught in it. With Monoceros' and Mavra's dark color scheme, it was hard to see them in the mist. The red gem and eyes of Monoceros were what stood out in the dark mist as their gem and eyes glowed.

After a few seconds, the mist dispersed, having done absolutely nothing.

"I-It didn't work?" Mavra stammered as he gazed at Monoceros in confusion. "Why didn't it work?"

Without answering, Monoceros turned around and kicked Mavra with their hind legs. With the 'Bloodlust' spell cast, Monoceros' strength was increased greatly.

Mavra flew through the air at immense speed, plowing through a few trees from the force Monoceros sent him.

I need to remember what Leo taught me.

"Never let your opponent rest. Once you get the advantage, keep it for as long as you can."

I raised my bow from my Sagittarius star dress, aiming at Mavra. "Piercing Star!" I exclaimed, releasing the large sharp arrow at Mavra.

Mavra leaned on a tree near him, completely oblivious to what was coming.

The sharp star arrow came flying towards him at intense speed, but it seemed like time slowed down.

Mavra looked at the arrow in fear as it pierced through falling leaves and tree debris from him plowing through the trees.

The dirt underneath the large arrow spiraled into the air as the arrow flew by quickly.

It was unsure if the arrow had hit its mark, but the sound of Mavra's painful yells filling the forest area gave me a hint that it did.

"Is it over?" I asked out loud to myself. Monoceros walked towards the fallen trees to take a look at our opponent.

Their red glowing eyes dimmed as the 'Bloodlust' effects wore off.

"Sorry, but this isn't over yet," a voice behind me said as it sent chills down my spine.

Me and Monoceros immediately snapped our heads towards the voice, only to be disappointed when we saw Mavra with a hurt arm, and now a hurt leg.

"How-" I was cut off with a kick to my arm, which held my bow, causing my grip to loosen and my bow to fly out of my hand.

"Meraki Parastin's power-up is teleporting to a random location whenever we want once," Mavra told me as he shot a dark beam out of his hand at my bow, causing it to fly even further away. "To my dismay, I was teleported a few feet away from you."

"That was lucky," I mumbled as I felt my magic draining.

"I have less than 7 minutes to finish this battle before I have to move on to the next one," I told myself as I looked at Mavra's injuries. "Maybe a cut arm and a bruised leg as injuries. There's no way I can defeat him in 5 minutes. Unless..."

I requipped my bow that I use for summoning constellations into my hand, quickly hitting Mavra's hurt leg with it.

He confirmed my suspicions when he doubled over and yelled in agony.

"Your legs broken. Maybe not terribly, but it's still broken," I informed nonchalantly as I sent my bow back into my requip inventory. "Give up already before you get even more hurt."

"No way," Mavra answered with confidence and a smirk. "You don't get to make that decision for me."

"Alright," I chuckled, smiling as I got into a battle stance. Warning 1. "So you gonna fight me or what?"

Mavra looked around, his eyes setting on Monoceros, who stood near us.

"No magic," Mavra told me. I looked at him in confusion. "I won't use magic if you don't use magic."

I inwardly smirked. "Alright."

"Wait-" Monoceros began before he started fading away to go back.

I sent Monoceros back to their constellation, as well as getting rid of my star dress and returning to my usual outfit. I still made sure to still use some fabric to cover my wound.

Mavra stood up straight, ignoring the raging pain from his broken leg.

Mavra took deep breaths as he bent down, getting into a battle stance.

A few seconds of silence passed, each of us observing the other intensely to get ready for anything.

I move first, lunging forward before turning my body while extending my leg.

Mavra immediately blocked using his unharmed arm. He grabbed my leg, throwing me off before sweeping me from under my feet.

Instead of collapsing on the ground, I put my hands out over my head while I was off my feet to catch myself. I land on my hands, throwing myself up to land on my feet.

Mavra quickly leaped forward to catch me off guard. He tried punching me with his cut arm, aiming for my face in which I move my head slightly to dodge.

I instantly grab his wrist, twisting his already hurt arm. While Mavra struggled from the pain off his arm twisting while already dealing with a large cut on the same arm, I kick the back of his knee to make him kneel. He was lucky I didn't kick his broken leg.

"Give up yet?" I questioned as I secured Mavra's leg down to prevent him from getting up. I continued to twist his arm until he gave me the answer I needed. Warning 2.

"Nope," he managed to chuckle, though it was strained due to his pain on his arm.

1 minute.

I sighed from the results of my mental timer. "That's too bad."

Before Mavra could react, I karate chop his neck. I hit the exact nerve I needed to hit in order to knock him out.

"Should have stopped on the first warning," I chuckled. Mavra was replaced by Kiran as he was teleported back to the Meraki Parastin balcony.
