Previously:

Before Mavra could react, I karate chop his neck. I hit the exact nerve I needed to hit in order to knock him out.

"Should have stopped on the first warning," I chuckled. Mavra was replaced by Kiran as he was teleported back to the Meraki Parastin balcony.

Now:

โ€ข 3RD PERSON POV โ€ข

Kiran Mavra was defeated by Lucy Heartfilia, quite brutally. He was knocked out in the infirmary wit a cut arm and a broken leg, but if he had continued fighting, his leg would've become severely injured.

Bacchus Groh of Quatro Cerberus and Remo Ekon of Meraki Parastin had finished their battle with Remo being victorious. Remo had won in the end by trapping Bacchus in an earth magic trap then attacking him until he was defeated.

The Splitforce team, much to the dismay of others, were on a roll. Kairius had used dirty tactics like drowning them until they get defeated and teleport back to their balcony. Zero wasn't much better, but at least he fought somewhat fairly. Zero would rely on brute strength and the power of his magic to take his opponents out, not thinking much about tactics.

In the end, Splitforce had defeated Araรฑa Webb of Mermaid Heel, Semmes of Quatro Cerberus, and Jenny Realight of Blue Pegasus. They had already defeated 3 wizards in a span of minutes.

Lamia Scale had yet to defeat anyone yet, but maybe that'll change. Sherria Blendy eventually ran into Orga Nanagear of Sabertooth. In terms of experience, Orga was the obvious choice with him being several years older, but Sherria's a tough opponent and could make up for it in spirit.

As for Sabertooth, Rogue was caught in a battle between Rocker of Quatro Cerberus and Malcolm Seth of Splitforce. Of course, Malcolm had his wolf companion. Upon meeting, Malcolm had instantly defeated Rocker, earning Splitforce another point.

The rest of the Fairy Tail team had finally started to move to their locations First Master Mavis had told them to move to.

Natsu trailed off the dirt path that was laid out in the forest, just like Mavis had told him to do in order to reach the best results.

Erza had walked east, using the compass she had brought with her. She continued until she reached a river. She then followed the river, moving in the opposite direction of the water flow.

Gray had slid down a small hill he was teleported on. Once he reached the bottom, he turned left. First Master Mavis just told him to keep moving forward until he reaches a cave in an overhanging cliff.

Gajeel was told to move to the left of where he was teleported to. He weaved around trees in the order First Master had told him. Left, left, right, left, right, straight, right. Though it may have seemed weird, and seemingly useless, this was the specific pattern he was told to follow until he reaches a small forest clearing.

Laxus was just told to move forward constantly until he meets an opponent. First Master told him to strike down lightning on every 1 out 5 trees. This is to send Laxus' location to his opponents. Though it might not have seemed like the best idea, it was what Mavis said, and no one is willing to go against her.

โ€ข LUCY'S POV โ€ข

Thunder boomed in the distance, indicating my teammates started their move.

I struggled with the wound on my stomach, but I waited for my magic energy to replenish so I could help myself.

My magic energy increased steadily until I felt okay to cast a healing spell from the healing gods of Greek, Norse, and Egyptian mythology.

I quickly muttered a healing spell as I covered my wound with my hands. Beneath the palms of my hands were bright sparkles, showing that the healing spell was cast.

The wound on my stomach closed, not bleeding as much anymore. Though it was still sore and had a slight bruise, it was tolerable.

I weaved through the forest as the sound of battles raging somewhere else in the forest filled the air. I needed to meet my last opponent soon. Mavis had informed me that I would have 4 opponents I would have to battle, not including Eve, since I had technically not defeated him, but instead Bridget of the Northern Crown constellation, Corona Borealis.

Phedalea Aspect and Sarya Ortiza were the first ones I defeated.

Kiran Mavra was the 3rd one I defeated.

Now the 4th opponent.

First Master informed me of my opponents, telling me that the difficulty of defeating them would gradually increase.

I neared the meeting place for my last opponent, planning out to approach the battle. A surprise attack? A constellation summon? A god soul spell?

I then saw the location I had needed to go to. The tallest tree in the forest.

It was noticeably taller than any other tree in Crocus' east forest. The tree had large branches sticking out into the blue sky as it cast a large shadow over the area.

I hop around the area, pumping myself up for the battle. The sore spot on my stomach ached painfully when I realized I was moving too much.

With this sore bruise and the power of my last opponent, I wasn't quite sure I could finish this battle.

If I were at full strength, this would probably be a piece of cake, but I had a bruise on my stomach that hurt when I moved too much and my magic energy wasn't quite 100%.

I had to push through though. First Master Mavis gave me this task and my friends are counting on me. I'm going to win this, despite my negative thinking.

"Nice to see you again, Your Highness."

Wassup ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I got a few things to say.

1. Thank you all so much for all the support on "Will Our Stars Align" - 4.7k+ reads and 240+ votes! It means so much to me, and I know that I may be a little selfish for announcement #2, so I apologize in advance. I truly am very thankful for so much support since I started this book back in April of 2020.

2. So... I know this will be kind of bad to say (especially after saying the 1st thing), but I'm slowly losing motivation to write this story. It's only mainly because I've started getting more into other animes and reading other anime fanfics. Most (Not all) of the "Lucy Heartfilia gets stronger" stories - that I've tried reading to help inspire me - either follow the same storyline (e.g. Ultimate Dragon Slayer Queen Lucy Heartfilia who's father is Acnologia and her brother's Zeref, "1% makes everyone faint", Lisanna's evil and bullies Lucy, Lucy leaves guild and joins Sabertooth, etc.), or the writing is just so bad I can't continue reading.

I'm pushing myself to write at least 400+ words a day so I can get chapters out for everyone to read. This is why the chapters seem shorter while also being a day later than when I usually update. (I used to update every other day, but now I update once every 3 days) I was thinking of pushing the deadline for every chapter to be like once every 4-5 days, just so the chapters are better written and longer.

The recent chapters have been around 1100-1200 words (this is when I started losing motivation), while the earlier chapters were around 2000-3000 words (starting around chapter 4 or something) and as of this point of the chapter, there are only around 1400 words, including this long announcement thing and the small paragraph in the beginning (so there's really only around 1000 words of the real story plot in this chapter). I am quite literally up at 1:46 am trying to write this chapter the night before publishing (don't worry though, because my sleep schedule was already nonexistent to begin with ๐Ÿ˜Ž)

3. This is more of a vote/poll kind of thing, just to see how you readers like the books to be published.

Would you rather...

Have a chapter posted once every 3 days, but around 1000 words and a little rushed?

or...

Have a chapter posted like once a week, but around 2000+ words and a bit better paced and written?

Or just give me how you would like my posting schedule to be minimum (like at least twice a week or something). With online school officially over as of the day I'm writing this (June 19th, 2020), I'm ok with anything as long as it gives me my own time to watch my anime and read some fanfics. (So maybe not updating everyday like how I used to do at the beginning of writing this book)

OKAY LAST ONE I SWEAR

4. Give me a number between 1 - 88. Whoever's number gets picked (by google number generator) will get a shoutout next chapter as well as the respective constellation number summoned to help Lucy fight her last Grand Magic Games opponent. You're only allowed to enter one number. (77, 14, 36, 2, 9, etc.)

Alright, that's it for now. If you've read all this announcement stuff, you're a dope person ๐Ÿ˜Ž
