Catalina's POV:

We exited the office, still feeling disappointed with what Monsieur Treville had told us as he believed that we weren't ready 

Corinne and I sighed in sadness when we found a bench attached to a stone-bricked structure that we would sit down on soon after 

As Miette was trying to cheer us up while we were thinking of what we would do now 

Cor and I smiled at Miette's gesture who meowed at us before Corrine and I shared a look 

Then she spoke, "Well, Lina, Miette this day sure isn't turning out as we'd hope." 

I smiled softly at her "Maybe things would be better for us, and something hopeful would come up..." I said 

Then Miette and I watched her standing up from the bench then grabbing my arm, thus I stood up as well 

"Exactly, Lina." Corinne knowingly smiled at my hope 

When we heard Brutus growling at Miette earning our attention 

"Hey stop that. Shoo!" Corinne tries to shoo him away, swatting him 

"Go away from Miette." I frowned, shooing him away 

But Brutus ignored us and continued growling at the kitten then ran toward her

Causing her to be frightened and begin running away with Brutus chasing her 

"Miette, wait!" Corinne says, extending her right hand outwards 

"We're on our way!" I frowned, worried about her 

As we decided to dash towards them, following the dog, we hoped it would lead us to save Miette.

We passed a group of people who were confused about the dog chasing the cat  

"Excuse us. Pardon us." Corinne excused the people in our behalves, who watched us run past them and startled them, abruptly moving out of the way 

Corinne and I watched Miette jumping over the wheelbarrow, startling the man, who let go as Brutus crawled under the handles 

We performed a side flip to go over them 

"Pardon us sir," I said, causing the man to shake his head toward us 

We continued running, chasing Brutus when the two animals ran to the right stone archway 

"Miette, wait!" Corinne shouts 

"Brutus please leave her alone!" I shouted 

Only for the dog to ignore my pleads as Corinne and I entered this section of the city 

Soon after Miette chased by Brutus went through a muddly puddle that splashed a brunette-accented girl dressed in purple  

Causing her to groan in disgust at the mud's dirtiness and then look in the animals' direction 

"Mangy beasts." She commented 

She motioned to herself. "It's a crime against fashion!" She added   

Then all of a sudden, we accidentally bumped into her, causing her to fall down, landed on the mud, 

I gasped as did my sister as I ran to help her stand up Corinne glanced at her and waved her hand a moment 

"Sorry!" Corinne apologized and then ran off 

"here let me help you up." I offered my hand to help her which she appreciated 

"Thank you manuselle." She thanked me as she stood up 

"Cat!" I heard my sister calling me from afar 

I look at her one last time then run off "Once again, we're sorry!" I apologized again then followed Cor 

Luckily I was able to catch up to her as we entered a rose garden where a red-headed girl dressed in green, performed some graceful dance moves attempting to get away from Miette and Brutus 

"Excuse us." Corinne and I excused ourselves 

When just like before, we accidentally bumped into her, causing her to yelp, falling down into the rose bushes 

She growled, sitting up, all covered with roses in her dress collar, and in her hair, watching us run off 

"That was exceedingly rude of you both." She commented, holding her now broken rose

"I shall not stand for it!" She added then she saw her light pink rose break down from the stem   

Then groaned looking at herself when I decided to help her stand up 

She watches me walk toward her offering my hand to help her stand up 

She was shocked by this for a moment then she gave me a grateful smile  

"Thank you." She thanked me once she was standing up

"No problem, my sister and I would like to apologize for what happened....."  I apologized on our behalf 

"I have to go.... sorry once more," I said before deciding to run once again, running toward my sister 

I smiled catching up with Corinne where she was waiting for me before we sighed dejected as we were basically nearing the castle  

"Oh dear...." Corinne sighs 

"Pleaseee........" I sighed 

Then we continue running after Brutus when we see a darker skin girl dressed in a blue dress, playing a wonderful song on her violin 

 Miette ran between her legs, startling her as she abruptly ended her playing 

She gasped seeing Brutus barking, running past her, between her legs 

"Noo." She was startled by this when she turned around, and her hand unknowingly sent her bo into the sky 

"My bow!" She frowned 

The bow landed on top of the fountain, where a marble statue of Cupid was located 

But she didn't know where it was as she was panicking    

"Where did it go?" She questioned, looking around 

Suddenly, just as with the previous two girls, we accidentally bumped into her. She screamed, stumbled backward into the fountain, and fell in.

She coughed, shaking her head and seeing that her violin was all wet, causing her to get mad at us 

"I'll get you both!" She declared, pointing her finger at us 

As we ran and heard her, we turned around to look at her. 

"Okay, but you're going to have to get in line," Cor remarked 

"You're the third person who told us that..." I added then we turned to continue chasing Brutus 

We noticed the two guards standing at the castle entrance, were asleep

Brutus continued barking at Miette as the two ran past the guards   

When suddenly they were awake from the barking, they looked at the animals, running up the stairs 

Then followed us, who ran past the guards 

"Hey wait!" The two guards, called us, as we glanced at them 

However, we couldn't just stand by; we had to rescue our kitten from the dog.

As we continued running up the castle steps we saw the two run toward the side of the castle 

As Miette jumped over the fountain's edge followed by Brutus who jumped, landed on the water, then pulled himself out of the water, and continued barking at Miette 

We dashed past the fountain, gasping for air as we slowed to a walk, tracing the trail of the wet dog's paw prints.

We were on the left side of the castle when we came across the door 

Corinne and I looked at each other and decided that I would knock   

Just as I was about to knock, we gasped moving to the side where we saw the door opened 

Followed by an adult woman's voice then seeing a girl dressed in a brown dress, looking down dejected 

We were confused about what had just occurred when we saw a middle-aged woman with dark red hair wearing a long, dark purple dress.

"You're fired! and don't ever come back!" The woman tells her 

Cor peeked inside the castle kitchen in hopes that Miette was inside 

When the woman looks at us, startling us 

"And who are you two?" She asked us 

"Corinne, Madame?" Corinne answered as she walked closer to us 

"Im... Catalina, Madame." I answered then she looked at us and our appearances 

Seeing our appearances satisfied her for some reason 

"You two would do." She says pulling us, causing us to be startled, and was inside the castle kitchen 

While the door closes behind us
