Catalina's POV:

Corinne and I were in the kitchen after Madame had pulled us in

Then she let go of us, which we begun walking next to her

"Im Madame de Bosse." Madame introduces herself  as we looked at her

When Madame De Bosse was curious about our purpose in the castle

"What brings you two here?" She questioned

"Catalina and I was chasing after our cat who was chasing by the dog.." Corinne started explaining, doing some arm motions, remembering

"Who was the Regent's dog that stole our letter." I continued explaining

When Madame de Bosse waved her right hand upwards "To 'Paris'." She clarifies   

We oohed in the realization when we glanced downwasrds for a moment then each other

When Rinne answered "We came to be musketeers." She motioned her right arm to the side in a circular motion

Unknown to us, a elder woman who was sweeping, heard my sister, glances at us then procedding her sweeping

When Madame de Bosse laughed hautily in amusement of hearing her

As we observed her leaning back and then composing herself,

"You two, a musketeers." When Corinne and I watched her walked away, covering her mouth wih slight smiles,

She chuckled from amusement once more, then shook her head, raised her right hand a little bit

"There are no female musketeers." She informed us, glancing at us

"Not yet Madame, but it's always been our dream to be the first, to cherish our father's legacy." I smiled, glancing up at the thought

Unknown to us the same elderly woman heard what I had just spoken, and glanced at us while she swept 

"Dreams...." Madame de Bosse started earning my attention once more

"are for sleeping." Madame de Bosse told us, finger motioned then lowered her hand

Corinne and I looked down and pondered for a moment before we looked at her again

"Never mention this nonsense again." Madame de Bosse commanded, raised her right hand again

We watched her step forward away from us as we silently hummed, then exchanged a look.  

"I appear to have two openings." Madame de Bosse started, grabbing 2 sets of clothes and small-heeled shoes.

When the upper one is the color yellow then the lower one is the color pink

When she began talking, it earned our attention as she turned to face us holding the 2 sets of clothes

"Do you two want a job or not?" She asked us

Corinne and I examined the outfits, unsure whether to consider accepting them or not.

Corinne was about to speak when the doors busted open and we looked at the doors where it was guards from the entrance

"Uh..." Cor looked back at Madame

While the guards turned to their right, finding us

Corinne and I really do not want to be thrown into the dungeons because of what happened  

"Yes, Madame de Bosse." Corinne and I answered immediately

As I grabbed the yellow set and Rinne grabbed the pink set from Madame de Bosse's arms

"Then follow me," she instructed, raising her right index finger, walking away

As we hummed at the guards being lucky enough for us to not get arrested

We walked to the middle of the kitchen where we watched Madame de Bosse look at the table, swiping her fingers to inspect for a dustless table

Before we see her dissatisfied with the table "Is that... a speck of dust?" Madame de Bosse questioned the elderly woman, approaching her

"Goodness Helene!" Madame de Bosse has begun scolding her, startling the elder woman,

Causing the said elder woman, to drop the dusting broom, looking at the Madame

"If you weren't the only one who knows where everything is in this Castle. I'd have fired you long ago." Madame de Bosse scolded her, finger motioned

Before we watched her walk away from Madame Helene as the said elder woman looked at the dusting broom

Needing to pick the broom up, she has begun to walk to retrieve it only for Rinne and I to watch Madame de Bosse kick the broom farther away from the woman

Seeing how she had been treated, made us unsettled before Cor picked up the broom "Here, Madame." She handed the dusting broom to her

"Thank you." Madame Helene thanked her, speechless by her kind gesture  

Then she sent us a smile where she had a feeling that we had good hearts

We smiled back at her and then continued walking, following De Bosse out of the kitchen

When we entered one of the hallways of the castle we were in a gasp at seeing how grand it is 

We approached the end of the hallway where to the left we smiled seeing another hallway with stairs

Corinne and I shared a smile as we smiled at the castle's hallways

Before Madame de Bosse looked at the door entrance on the right

"Girls!" Madame de Bosse called, clapping her hands, earning our attention

Before we saw the three girls walking in we were speechless that it was the same three girls that we accidentally bumped into before

I and Cor looked down and then glanced up in nervous seeing that they were angry at us

"These are your late..." Madame de Bosse motioned her left hand to the three girls, inspecting their messy appearances

"and messy co-workers."  Madame de Bosse continues, noticing their messy looks

"Viveca..." Madame de Bosse introduces us to the tanned brunette girl from the shop who glared madly at us

"Aramina..." Madame de Bosse introduces the orange-haired girl from the rose bush, angrily huffing at us

"Renee...." Madame de Bosse introduces the darker skinned tone girl from the fountain looks at us with a mad expression 

"Meet Corinne and her younger sister, Catalina." Madame de Bosse introduced us to the three girls, motioned to the side, glanced at us

As Corinne and I looked at the three girls with nervous, unsure expressions 

Then Madame de Bosse walked near the three girls "I should fire the whole lot of you..." Madame de Bosse began pacing earning the girls' attention

"But with the Prince's Masquerade Ball coming up in a week, I can't afford to lose anyone else, even if I was lucky enough to hire Catalina as a spare." Madame de Bosse continues, pacing

Before she stopped pacing, finger motion in a swooshing from left to right, looking at the five of us

"So instead you will be working late..." Madame de Bosse informed us, continued pacing, her right hand raised

"Now get to work." Madame de Bosse commanded the three girls

Then glancing at Corinne and I "All of you." Madame de Bosse finishes, finger motioned to all of us then walking away 

After she has left completely, leaving Corinne and I with the three angry girls

We looked at the three girls who madly growled at us.

"Enfantes terrible!" Viveca spoke in French, raising her right finger up

Aramina growled rising to her holding the light pink rose 🥀 from before

"Rose breakers!" Aramina yelled, madly glaring at us

"You two!" Renee angrily pointed at us

As we felt ashamed of what happened before when we bumped into them

"We are so sorry." Corinne and I apologized, shaking our heads in unison

"Really." Corinne continues

"And truly." I continued

"If there's anything Catalina and I can do to you to make up for it," Corinne asks as I frowned

"They should wash all the draperies in the ballroom," Viveca says, raising her arms upwards then circling motioning her right hand then lowering it downward

As we frowned at the girls before looking down

"No! They should dust all the books in the library." Aramina suggested, waving her left hand who holding the rose to Renee as Viveca looked at Renee

Before Renee made a decision of what we would do

"Wait! I have the perfect job for them." Renee says, her left hand on her waist, walking towards us with a smirk on her face

As I and Corinne bit our lips from the nervous of what Renee had decided

Where Renee had told Corinne that she'd be washing the ballroom floor using only a toothbrush 🪥

As for me, Renee decided to go with Aramina's suggestion and had her lead me to the library

Before Aramina was to lead me to the library she led me to the restroom where I would change into my new maid's dress and shoes

It didn't take long for me to change before I exited the restroom, and saw Aramina waiting for me

When we started heading to the castle library

"Aramina? I wanted to apologize for what happened before, Corinne, and I didn't mean to bump into you and lead you falling into the thorny rose bush...." I apologized to her

When she smiled softly as we continued walking toward the library

"It's alright, Catalina. I can see that you were sorry about the incident. Plus I appreciate you've helped me stand up." Aramina smiled

"What do you say we started over?" Aramina suggested when I smiled at her

Before she offered her hand in the introduction "I'm Aramina."

I smiled accepting her hand "Pleasure to make your acquaintance, I'm Catalina, Corinne's younger sister." I smiled

"Wonderful to meet you, Catalina. I love it if we could be friends." Aramina smiles

Which I smiled accepting her friendship before we arrived at the library

Aramina and I opened the door where I entered the library and I was in shocked to see so many books in my entire lifetime

Aramina smiled of my expression when she handed me the dusting broom which I accepted

"Here you go, I got to get to my duties, I'll see you later," Aramina told me which I nodded at her

Before she waved me good luck and left, leaving me to begin dusting.

I smiled, taking a breath and I began dusting the books where I had a feeling that it would take me a few hours maybe more

Unknowingly to me that a certain man was in the library, reading and writing some notes, didn't notice me being in the library, dusting.......
