𝙰/𝙽:𝚂𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚢 𝚒𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚝𝚒𝚝𝚕𝚎 𝚜𝚎𝚎𝚖𝚜 𝚠𝚎𝚒𝚛𝚍, 𝚒 𝚍𝚒𝚍𝚗𝚝 𝚑𝚊𝚍 𝚒𝚍𝚎𝚊𝚜 𝚑𝚘𝚠 𝚝𝚘 𝚗𝚊𝚖𝚎 𝚒𝚝 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚢

The woman stared at the kid that got her arm off and then her glance becomes a death glare at the people of the organization as they prepare their weapons but shivering of being afraid as Mei prepares her sword to fight them "Rule 1. Never hurt any, innocent children, or... you may face punishment..." The woman states calmly as the men start charging at her as Mei drops her sword and dodged any attack like it isn't hard as the men are shocked and when one of them tried to stab her with a knife, Mei grabbed the knife dropping it away and grabbed one of the men waist and put them against the floor causing him hiss in pain as another one tries to charge at her, Mei does a high jump over him and kicks him in the legs causing him to fall and then grabs a rope she found closer in the room and used it for the men as they are trapped. Mei glances at them unamused and then looks at the Oni girl and the bunny hood of white

"Mei... how you were able to found me- no! I mean us!" The little girls but then corrects herself after she realized Soukaku was here, since Soukaku is the reason her legs weren't cut (At least she didn't get the treatment of Mousy in Piggy Book 1)

"Well, I fought a member of the organization and he revealed the location so then I left him and went straight there and when I was about to check if is it true, I heard a pained scream so I did hurry up the, are you fine, Ruby?" Before Ruby could answer, Arlan showed up and was confused who were Ruby and Mei but then glanced down seeing Soukaku arm gone as he gasped and quickly went beside her side

"Soukaku?! Kaku?! Please wake up!" Arlan says frustrated as he glances at Mei "What. Happened?" Arlan asks slowly to Mei as Mei gets up her sword putting it in her belt as she gives him the answer

"One of the members of Crimson Hunters, cut off her arm while fighting her when that "Soukaku" tried to protect Ruby, I must say she's a brave one, if she wasn't here, Ruby would've died already" Mei says while looking at Soukaku proud for what she did as Arlan nods and picks up Soukaku

"We should get back to the station, bring the men of the organization,they need questioning now, we cannot let this slide" Arlan says as Mei nods as she carries the men (Don't ask how she can carry them, guess that she has more strength than her husband (Jing Yuan) but let's not fight about it but don't worry if you missed a chapter, they aren't married, I just meant it as a joke) "Also... thank you..." Arlan finally says as Mei smiles and leaves as Ruby follows Mei.

Meanwhile in the space station:

Welt POV: (Yep, we have now the POVS)

It has been hours since Soukaku disappears as Asta was keeping very worried of Arlan as Himeko tried to find information by researchers of where she is but they kept saying they don't know and isn't their business causing Himeko and me being more worried, and as we were about to talk about something with Asta, Arlan, a woman and a kid appeared as my first glance was Soukaku with her arm off and quickly run to her as Himeko followed me,

POV NORMAL:
Asta interrogated the woman that seemed her name was Meiryn Huing and also the suspects of the organization as a medical team took Soukaku to inspect her injuries and arm (although she doesn't anymore have a arm)
"So... these ones... are people who experiment on people? And also tried to cut off Ruby's legs? And that cut off Soukaku's right arm? Am I right?" Asta asks to Mei as Mei nods with her arms crossed as Ruby was clinging on Mei leg "Alright then, you are free to go, I will tell Madame Herta about the situation" Asta says leaving Mei alone and Mei and Ruby explore the station as they encountered Himeko and Welt talking about what happened and did see Mei and Ruby walking to them

"So? How is she? Is she gonna make it?" Mei asks serious and calmly but a hint of concern in her voice, even though she just met Soukaku, she was worried of her since no kid should've suffered of getting their arm off. Himeko and Welt nod their head as Mei exhales relieved that Soukaku's going to be fine. "For now, she needs recovery and Asta said a specialist expert in prosthetics will come tomorrow to give her an prosthetic arm which we hope is going to work" Welt says sadly as he's worried of Soukaku and hopes she survives as Mei softens her eyes of a kid being in danger and Ruby seemed uncomfortable of Soukaku in a possible way to die. Himeko puts a hand in Ruby shoulder as comfort

"Dont worry, Soukaku will be fine, she's so strong, we may have hope that she's fine, let's just rest. I have an offer for you, Mei and Ruby" Himeko says glancing at Mei and Ruby as Ruby and Mei are confused as Welt leaves to go back in the express.

"What kind of offer would it be?" Mei asks as Ruby is also in curiosity as Himeko chuckles

"Allow me to offer you to join the Astral Express, Mrs. Huing and Ruby" Himeko says as Ruby and Mei are in shock but anyways are grateful of those words

"Thank you so much, Mrs. Himeko, I don't know how to repay you. I'd like to join your trailblazing journey" Mei says smiling at Himeko as Himeko just nods and leaves to the Express to leave Mei and Ruby to process "So... wanna go, Ruby?" Mei asks her and Ruby nods as Mei smiles and takes Ruby hand to go to the Express
