The next morning in the Astral Express, Mei woke up and did let Ruby rest as she went to the medical room of the space station to check on Soukaku since she was worried so much of her. When she arrived, she saw the specialist putting and adjusting the prosthetic arm on Soukaku as Mei smiles and leans against the wall glad that Soukaku's going to be fine. After the specialist finished, the specialist left leaving Soukaku and Mei alone in the room until Mei spoke

"Don't stare at me like that, it's very creepy stare at people, y'know?" Mei says as Soukaku silently apologizes for staring as Mei just smiles at the girl as Soukaku stands up and follows Mei back to the Astral Express. When they return, they see Himeko and Welt see Soukaku and quickly walk for her to talk to her.

"Soukaku, you should eat something, Pompom prepared something for you-" Himeko gets interrupted when PomPom comes over to hug Soukaku as he cries of how he missed her and he was absolutely worried something happened to her.

"Don't do that ever again! You scared me thinking you weren't going to make it which caused me to not be able to sleep! Please! PROMISE IT!" Pompom says while screaming as Soukaku doesnt know what to say but pat his head

"It's alright, Pompom, I'm really fine, that is the only that that matters... can I please eat?" Soukaku says as she quickly is hungry because she didn't ate nothing yesterday after they went in the space station as Pompom quickly brings her meal to her since Himeko and Welt told him that Soukaku didn't ate nothing after they went in the space station. Soukaku thanks Pompom and sits in one of the tables playing with the dolls they each other have as Himeko, Welt and Mei are chatting as Ruby and Soukaku are hanging out.

"I'm glad you chose being part of the Express, im pretty sure you won't regret nothing" Himeko says smiling at Mei as Mei nods

"I don't regret nothing, Mrs. Himeko. 𝚃𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚒𝚜 𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚒 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚢" Mei says as Himeko and Welt nod as Ruby and Soukaku fell asleep on each other and Himeko and Mei took Soukaku and Ruby to sleep
