A/n: I MADE ALL THE DRAWINGS ON THIS CHAPTER
Anyway, I don't know if I said this before but I shall leave you guys with a FUN FACT about this story; Y/n originally was going to be working with the Council in New Yoke (and her counterparts like the others) and will gonna have a 'enemies but they were once used to be friends' some kind of relationship with our cast. But I changed my mind. Because it was going too bloody in my head and might get outta hand for the series. Also I was gonna make the book 1st pow but it probably would take longer and some parts would be weird so I changed. BUT I WANNA WRITE A NINE X READER STORY AND I MIGHT ADD ALL THIS INTO THAT BOOK. No holds back anymore lmao.
Going back to the story now. Like I promise you guys. A LONG CHAPTERRR
Eggman's hologram started to tell a story, "Once upon a time, in a universe far beyond the reaches of our own, there existed a child that came from the stars. She was full of curiosity and wonder. From the moment she was born, she longed to make friends with the other stars who filled the vast expanse of the universe.
However, as she wandered among her fellow celestial sisters, she soon realized that they were too consumed with their own world and desires. Each star was solely focused on shining the brightest, competing with one another for attention and admiration. No one seemed interested in the gentle light that emanated from her being. She yearned for companionship, for friends who would truly care instead of pretending to see her.
Feeling disheartened, she made a difficult decision. She left her family behind and ventured off into the unknown in search of genuine companionship. With a renewed sense of hope, she set her sights on a new world where their sun and moon wandered idly around an enchanting planet.
As she descended towards this beautiful planet, she was mesmerized by the harmonious dance of the sun and the moon. Their presence filled her with a sense of awe and excitement. With a happy heart and eagerness in her eyes, she wished to make friends with these celestial beings who seemed to possess a unique balance of light and darkness.
Her arrival on the planet ignited an enchanting string of events that would forever alter the destinies of three extraordinary beings. Intrigued, a blue hedgehog emerged from the surface of the moon to see this radiant star's child. His playful nature and carefree spirit complemented the moon's serene atmosphere. She was entranced by his fearlessness and individualist nature, and together they discovered the mysteries of the night that falls upon the world.
Simultaneously, a golden fox came forth from the sun to meet her. With his inner fire and pure soul, he radiated warmth and light like the brilliant sun itself. She was captivated by his wit and kindness, as he showed her the wonders of daylight and the vibrant world that accompanied it.
As their friendship grew, the three companions shared moments of joy and laughter. They danced through fields of stardust and swam in oceans of moonlight, experiencing the beauty of both day and night. She felt a profound sense of belonging, knowing she had finally found friends who truly understood and cared for her.
But amidst the shared happiness, a gentle ache started to grow within the fox's heart. He had fallen deeply in love with her, unable to deny the profound connection they shared. However, in the depths of his soul, he feared that his love for her would forever remain unrequited. He knew his brother meant no harm, but she and the hedgehog seemed to grow closer each passing day, and he couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of envy towards him, causing something inside him to turn petrified.
However, as fates often do, a dark cloud of sorrow loomed on the horizon. One fateful morning, as the sun prepared to illuminate their world, a sinister man emerged from the shadows, tearing apart their peaceful night like a cruel paper cut. He wickedly whispered into the fox's ear, flaming that venom inside his heart to burst out like hot lava, his words ravaging his golden essence, infecting him with corruption. Next, he turned his attention to the child of the stars, whispering poison into her innocent mind, dimming the light that once emanated from within. In horror, the hedgehog watched as their friends were consumed by the darkness that had infiltrated their souls.
With unfaltering determination, the hedgehog sprang into action, desperately trying to reach the corruption inside of his friends in hopes to purify them. He pleaded with them to see the truth, to break free from the tangle of lies, but anger and grief clouded their perception. The hedgehog's earnest cries fell on deaf ears, for the corrupted hearts of his friends refused to hear the truth. As the pain within their companions grew, the stars themselves began to dim, mirroring their sister's agony. In the same vein, the sun, witnessing the suffering of the golden fox, unleashed its wrath upon their world, scorching everything in its path. The celestial harmony crumbled, and the very fabric of the sky descended into turmoil as the sun waged war against the night.
In the midst of the chaos, the blue hedgehog, his soul aching with sorrow, unleashed a powerful silent cry, which pierced the surface of the moon, tearing open a deep chasm and craters. His hearts bled for their fallen friends, caught in an eternal struggle he could not halt. His pleads for reconciliation went unanswered, his pain echoing through the desolate battlefield.
And so, the selfish and relentless clash sparked a war that seemed to stretch across eternity, leaving their world in perpetual conflict. Peace became a distant dream, nothing more than an elusive memory. The moon, looming above the planet, reflected a bright light tinged with anger and sadness, once a reflection of the love shared between close friends. Her light now shone mournfully upon the planet, nestled amongst the dim, distant stars. Fearing her child would witness the pain and destruction, the moon hid her son, sheltering him from an unbearable reality. Upset, the hedgehog went into a deep slumber there.
Years turned into eons, and the war claim turned into a cold war, dividing the planet into two distinct halves. The sun stubbornly clung to its pride, refusing to move from its position, casting its eternal light upon the morning side. On the other side lay the night, where the moon, ever-present and comforting, bathed its inhabitants in soft, gentle rays of hope.
Until one day, in the deepest corners of his heart, the golden fox could bear his longing for his cherished friends no longer. His body turned to lava, no longer able to burn like before. Their absence tore at his soul, tormenting him with grief untold. He dropped to his knees, seeking guidance, turning his desperate gaze to the sun. He pleaded for his assistance to reunite him with his lost friends, to let him go. Yet, the sun, scarred by the pain his child had endured, hesitated to grant such a request, fearing his beloved son would face further harm. He warned the fox of the consequences awaiting those who abandoned the light.
"If you leave, as punishment you can never come back." Sun warned his son.
But the fox, consumed by determination, turned his back on the sun's pleading cries. He vowed to find a way to reach his friends, even if he had to forsake the light forever. He set forth, distancing himself from the comforting rays, embarking on an arduous journey that led him to the night, where the stars hid, shrouded by the moon's guiding light.
With every step, the fox's heart burned with regret, acknowledging the chaos and pain he had played a part in. He searched relentlessly, desperate to find a single star, a glimmer of hope, but they remained concealed. At the brink of despair, he found himself under the moon's light, begging for assistance once more. The moon, who had witnessed the devastation caused by their meaningless fight, could no longer disregard the fox's pleas.
"You seek to reclaim that which you had a hand in extinguishing," the moon spoke softly, her voice laced with stern but sorrowful like a mother. "Your fight, born from pure selfish anger and ignorance, led us down a path from which there is no return. You must be held accountable for your actions. No star shall shine under my light. Darkness shall be your companion, forever concealing the light you now long for."
And so, the golden fox was left alone, enveloped in darkness, bearing the weight of his regret. His beloved star remained forever invisible, lost to the void, as he himself was doomed to dwell within the shadows, his body turned to stone. She was, for him, the brightness of stars. True to the moon's decree, he would never shine again, forever burdened by the absence of his dear companions."
Mr. Doctor Eggman raised a brow towards the hologram form of himself, "Why are you telling me this bedtime story?"
"You asked me how I came to be. Why do you think I exist? If it wasn't for his determination to get her back... I wouldn't be existing and honestly? I wish I stayed as non-existing... My only sole purpose in life was to be a lab rat, I exist so she could... After all those years in a locked void, I have a new purpose now. The same thing you want. Power. To get revenge." He growled as his eyes shined.
Mr. Doctor Eggman hummed, "What would you offer to me that could give me the upper hand? We already have the fox to help us."
"If you are smart you would keep me near. Unlike you, I can see outside of the box."
"What's your name?"
"Call me... Hollow."
Dr. Deep announced through the big screen towards the rest of the council, "The Yolkomotive is primed and loaded."
"Egg-celent! We are on a tight schedule here, doctors, so no messing around!"
"Don't tell me what to do! We'll get the power shard. Don't you worry about it."
"And in record time, I'd wager."
Nine glance up at your form next to him as the call ends. He whispered, "Are you seeing Sonic anywhere?"
You simply glance down, "It does not work like that Nine. But I do sense he is nearby."
"That's good enough. Tell him to be quick."
"That... still does not work like that... yet."
He heaved a sigh. He glanced down towards his cuffed hands. "Then we'll have to use another method for now. Until you get to the hang of it."

In No Place, lightning flashes near the Devil's Lighthouse. On the Chaos Council submarine, Batten looks through a telescope and spots Dread falling from the mountain with the blue Shard. Sonic and Y/n run to him and disappear.
"What just happened?" Batten asked with concern, looking at Black Rose.
Sails glances at his reflection on your sword with a confused frown.
The skies clear and Dread jumps away from the mountain. He leaps from rock to rock where the submarine sits besides his ship, the Angel's Voyage. Dread lands on the submarine and grins at the Shard in his hand. Rusty Rose stands tied to a pole and looks at Dread, scanning him.
"The shard." She says, eyes wide.
"You alright, Capt'n?" Batten asked.
"Aye, Batten." Dread acknowledges.
"What happened to Sonic and Y/n, Capt'n?" Sails asked, concerned.
"They poofed! And in a blue flash, they are gone. But they'll come back." Dread said, looking at the Shard.
"The Devil's Lighthouse!" Black Rose exclaimed with excitement, seeing the Shard.
"Aye! And with this, we will reclaim the No Place Seas." Dread declared with a grin.
"Huzzah!!" Batten and Black Rose cheered, bringing up their fist.
"This craft is the property of The Chaos Council." Rusty stated.
"Shut your metal gob!" Black Rose ordered, pointing at her.
"I will not!" Rusty shook her head with a glare. "I was programmed by The Chaos Council with the mission to retrieve that shard."
"And ya failed!" Black Rose pointed out.
"The council will return. You would do best to surrender to me now." Rusty ordered.
Dread and his crew laughs.
"If this Chaos Council wants to take this ship back, they're more than welcome to try." Dread said, running up and leaping next to Black Rose and Batten. "You're a heck of a scrapper, Rusty. Ye'll make a fine pirate."
"I am loyal to the Chaos Council." Rusty glared.
"Then prisoner it is." Dread grinned before turning to his crew. "Alright, crew, let's get this metal boat ship-shaped and ready to sail!"
His crew cheers.
"What about the Angel's Voyage, Captain?" Black Rose asked.
"A good captain goes down with their ship, but a great captain steals someone else's. Ha! What be her name?" Dread asked Rusty.
"The Kraken." she replied.
"Aye, a fitting name."
The Kraken starts moving as they sail out of the Devil's Lighthouse, leaving the Angel's Voyage behind.
"Oh! Who'd be the scourge of The Great No Place Sea?" Dread sang.
"Dread! It be Dread!" his crew sang along.
A tiny island stands under the blue sky. Sonic falls through a portal and screams.
"Not again!" he yelled.
Sonic lands just off the island beach on his face. Sonic gets up with a gasp and coughs.
"Oh, I really thought I had it this time."
"Try not to land on your face too often. You will get a bruise." You grinned, making him quickly face you and grin with a gasp.
"Y/n! You are here! Great! You have to tell me at some point how you do that! One point you are with Nine and the next-- Wait is Nine okay-- Double Wait, you explain all that later we have a prism to find!"
"Whatever you say blue." You shrugged with a grin. "Honestly, It's good to be back here. I like my clothes here." You chirped happily.
"Okay, how do we find a band of pirates in the middle of a massive ocean world?" he wondered.
"Let's get to high ground." You suggested, pointing up to the platform.
Sonic grins and climbs on top of a palm tree. Follow and search. He sees familiar sharp rocks ahead where a big mountain is in the middle.
"There! The Devil's Lighthouse!" He said.
"Sharp eyes! You spot it quickly. So how about a race?"
He paused in surprise, "Seriously, cupcake? You are suggesting a race? On water? With me?" He chuckled.
You shrugged, "Sure. It's a really good opportunity for me to try and get a hold over my powers here."
"So you got new powers here too?"
You cracked your knuckles, "Something like that. The last one to get there washes the dishes?"
"Oh, you betcha." He chuckled and wiped his nose.
Within the blink of an eye he jumps down and runs across the water with his boots.
You chuckled, "If I can appear out of nowhere to other worlds with only my soul then I must have no limits. Just gotta get a hold of it. Let's see... Come on Y/n. You were always really good with energy and stuff. This is piece of cake compare to it."
On the Kraken, Rusty had her eyes closed when her right robot eye started blinking red then she opened her eye.
"Black Rose, set a course for me long awaiting destiny." Dread said.
"Aye, aye, Capt'n!" Black Rose saluted.
Sails fly up to them. "All finished with the banners, Dread."
Dread looks to see the Kraken covered with his pirate banners and smirks.
"Fine job, lad!" he complimented.
"And the cannon's been locked and loaded!" Sails added, gesturing to the blaster.
"Good! Let's go get our pirate on."
Dread sees something ahead and pulls out his telescope.
"Huh?"
The Yolkomotive approaches and hovers.
"Filthy Pirates!" Deep calls from the Yolkomotive.
"Surrender the shard and we will leave you with your stolen ship and your pathetic lives."
"The Chaos Council has come for me and the shard just as I said they would." Rusty showed off a smirk.
"They can have you back!" Black Rose retorted.
Dread draws his sword. "If he wants me beauty, he can come down here and take it from me!"
"Bring it!" Deep growled.
The hatch opens and Eggforcers flies out. They hover around Dread and shoot him, but he flips away from them. An Eggforcer lands on deck and slams its fists down when Batten and Sails jumps away. Dread kicks it away, dodges another Eggforcer, and kicks it too, then punches another. Catfish throws Sails at an Eggforcer. Sails swings a gun at it, causing it to get tazed and fell.
"You can't have it! It's mine! Mine!" Dread shouted as the shard began to glow along with his sword.
With Shard energy, Dread's sword zaps Eggforcers with electricity. A shot from an Eggforcer throws Dread back against the door, making him drop the shard. It rolls away and the Eggforcer takes it.
"No!"
Dread tries to go after it, but the Eggforcer already flies away with the shard.
"When I get me hands on ye lousy landlubbers lunatics, I'll take me sword and-"
Deep luckily shuts him out as Dread says other... mind blowing words that no one probably wants to hear, stabbing the sword down and punching the air.
"That filthy sea dog put up a fight. Eggforcers! Give them a final volley to remember us by." Deep order.
Eggforcers turn and land shots all over the deck and damage a sphere. Rusty turns away from an explosion, nearly getting caught from it.
"All systems are fully disabled, Captain." Eggforcer said.
"Eggcellent." Deep and Done It smirked.
"What about Rusty Rose?" Done It asked.
"Leave her." Deep said, not caring about her. "She's failed us one too many times."
Rusty's eyes widens and watches the Yolkomotive turn to fly away.
"They are..."
She gets short circuit as her robot eye flashes pink for a moment before flashing back to red.
"...leaving me." she said in disbelief.
Black Rose looks back at her in shock. Smoke rises from the sphere.

Mr. Doctor Eggman answers the call from the other doctors. There was some static but then Deep and Done it appeared on the big screen.
Deep greets them, "Fellow doctors." He went back and picked up the blue shard from an Eggforcer, "We have the No Place Shard in our possession. Securing in record time, I might add." He boosted and put it back in Eggforcer's hands.
Don't groan, "Ugh! Those two mouth breathers are always rubbing it in."
Mr. Doctor Eggman, "We're picking up a converter from New Yoke, and then we're on route. Send us your coordinates and be ready." He sinisterly pressed his hands together.
Done it acknowledges, "Affirmative."
"Our egg-xact coordinates areβ" Static covers the screen and his voice shuts out.
Eggman, "Transmission faulty. Repeat coordinates." He slams his
