"Dread, we had a plan." Sonic said sadly, pushing Dread's swords away from you.

You put your sword away, "I can't believe you Dread." You glanced at Sails and others with a frown.

"All this looks like betrayal to you?" You scowled.

"Hand it over." Dread ordered, raising his sword.

"You abandoned us, Sonic!" Sails said in defense and upset.

You tighten your fists, shaking your head, "Can't believe you too, Sails."

Sails hesitate, "I believe Sonic did ditches us, Y/n. You saw it too. Please—"

You scoffed at that, "Please what? Your captain just accused us. Without any question. You all believed him. I understand. You don't know anything about us. You are all loyal to Dread. But five seconds ago we were fighting back to back. Now we are gonna fight against each other? Don't make us do that."

"He left us at the mercy o' them robots." Batten glared.

"I'll blast 'im right b'tween the eyes." Black Rose sneered, pointing the cannon at Sonic.

"Just do not hit the Shard." Rusty warned, pointing the cannon at Sonic as well.

Sonic backed away as he grabbed your hand to prevent you from stepping between, he knew you would, looking sad and betrayed. His blue eyes held a mixture of fear and gratitude as he tried to dissuade you from risking your life for him.

Dread glared at Sonic and raised his sword threateningly. "Last chance, Blue. The Shard or yer life!" he bellowed, a cruel smirk playing on his lips.

You didn't hesitate as you stepped forward, drawing your own sword and facing off against Dread. Your eyes shone with a fierce determination that shocked everyone around you. "If the world chooses to become his enemy, I will fight like I always have," you declared, your voice steady and unwavering.
