Octavia and I hung meat on the hooks. Sweat dripping down our foreheads from the heat. "Let's get this party smoking," Del says as he places more wood on the fire.

"You don't want the fire too big so maybe just try to knock it down with some wet leaves." Octavia tells him, continuing to fidget with the meat.

Del gives her a nasty look, "You get that from your boyfriend, Grounder Pounder?" I step forwards, crossing my arms defensively.

"What's your problem?" I ask him. He steps closer to me, looking me up and down. "No problem here." He licks his lips before grinning smugly.

Murphy cuts in, "She's right. A hot fire isn't going to preserve meat as well." Dal turns around to look Murphy, "Well, if you can't take the heat, get out of the smokehouse."

Dal continues talking, "You should be kissing our asses for being allowed back in this camp."

I scoff at him, "I reckon you should be the next one to leave." He narrows his eyes at me before walking away, "Just keep working."

Murphy swiftly changes the subject, "Your brother couldn't get you a better job? Anything would be better than working in the meat furnace."

"Oh probably." Octavia sighs, "That just means someone else would have to do it."

I fan my face with my hand as the smokehouse increases in heat, "Is it getting hotter in here?" I look at the entrance, the flames growing on the walls.

"We need to leave now," I say while coughing. I rush as I push Murphy and Octavia outside, following behind them. I watch in shock as the entire smokehouse burns before my eyes.

Finn touches my shoulder, "Are you okay?" I nod in response, placing my hands on my knees.

Murphy rushes up to Dal, "This is all your fault. We told you it was too much wood." Murphy proceeds to punch Dal in the face, the two grabbing each other aggressively.

There goes Murphys peaceful streak. Dal did deserve it though, he was a prick.

Bellamy steps in between the two of them, pushing them both backwards. "Hey, stop. Save it for the grounders."

"Bell, now what the hell are we going to do?" Octavia complains, "That was all the food." My thoughts immediately go back to the Jobi Nuts. We could have a wild time while being in war with the grounders.

Bellamy yells directing everyone on what we should do, "Each group take someone with a gun. But they're for killing grounders, not good. We don't have the ammo. Use the spears for hunting. Get what you can and be back by nightfall. No one stays out after dark."

I grab a spear that was leaning on the wall, wrapping my pale fingers around the wood. Bellamy grabs my wrist, raising his eyebrow at me. "Not you."

I groan as I tilt my head back, "Why not?" Bellamy looks at me seriously, letting go of my wrist. "I know what you're like, you're probably going to end up hurt."

"Yeah, but I know that Prince Charming will save me." I reply as I pinch Bellamys cheeks. He swats my hands away, looking around to see if anyone saw. "You're not going to give up are you?"

I grin at him widely, "You know me so well." He rolls his eyes as he tries to conceal a smile, "Come on then."

I raise my hands up in the air in triumph, doing a mini victory dance almost knocking Bellamy in the head with the back of the spear.

His hand grabs the spear, stopping my dance.
"Save your dancing for when the grounders come. It will probably make a good scare tactic." Bellamy jokingly says.

My mouth drops opens, "I can't believe you just said that." Bellamy lightly nudges me, "Better believe it Peach."

We enter Ravens tent together, "We need more ammo." Bellamy asks her. I watch as she packs everything into her bag. "That's it until Jasper gets back. Now get out my tent."

"Where are you going?" Bellamy asks, confused. "The hell out of here." Raven responds sharply.

"No way. You're not leaving." Bellamy shakes his head at her. "Really? And what makes you think you can tell me what to do?" Raven tells him, anger laced in her voice. "Aren't you a janitor?"

I put my hand over my mouth trying to hide a laugh, that was an unnecessary but funny diss. A quick snort leaves my throat, the two of them giving me an intense stare. I put my hands up defensively.

"Where are you going to go?" Bellamy continues. "Out of these damn woods. Don't worry about it. I'll find us someplace safe."

Bellamy latches onto Ravens arm as she attempts to leave the tent, "Just wait. Don't be an idiot. You go alone and you're dead. Or worse."

"So, what's your plan? Sit here until you run out of bullets?" Raven questions. "Yeah. Or until you come up with something better."

"Come on, Raven you came down here in a pod you rebuilt yourself. You made a bomb out of a tin can. What else you got in that head of yours" He asks her.

"Radios. We can't defend ourselves if we can't communicate. If we can build radios, walkie-talkies." Raven suggests, Bellamy continues her sentence getting the idea. "Then we can fight as a team. We'd have a chance, at least."

"See? We need you. You may be a huge pain in the ass, but you're smart." Bellamy tells her before leaving the tent.

"It's about Finn isn't it?" I question her. She looks at me nodding her head, "Yeah." I give her a soft smile, "He loves you.Really."

"And honestly I'm rooting for you and Finn rather than him and Clarke. I like you better, you're much cooler."

"Don't tell them I said that though." Raven snickers, "Thanks Aurora. My lips are sealed." Raven pretends to zip her mouth shut and throw away the key. I give her a light hug before quickly rushing after Bellamy.

Bellamy and I were exhausted after the hunting so we laid down together, admiring each others faces. He was effortlessly beautiful. From his deep brown eyes that I could get lost in to his sun-kissed cheeks.

Bellamy interrupted the silence, by cracking a small joke. "You know. I'm proud of you Peach, you didn't hurt yourself this time."

I groan, shifting around to lay on my back. "You're so annoying." He chuckles at me, "Yeah, but you still love me."

I tilt my head, looking at him in surprise. As realisation hits him, he looks at me in panic. "Obviously I didn't mean it like that, I-"

I cut off Bellamys sentence by leaning over him and crashing my warm lips onto his. It took him a second before he lightly cupped my face, deepening the kiss. Our tongues battling, a battle I know that I would lose. Butterflies erupted in my stomach.

He pulled me onto his lap as he sat up, my legs either side of him. He broke the kiss to pull off his top eagerly. I hesitate to do the same. Bellamy stops as he tucks a strand of hair behind my ear. "We can stop if you want."

I shake my head, "No it's fine." I pull off my shirt, a suddenly feeling of self-consciousness hitting me. Bellamys brown eyes stare into my brown eyes, "Don't doubt yourself, you're gorgeous."

I giggle slightly, blushing at his comment. "I could say the same for you." I awkwardly tell him. "You think I'm gorgeous?" He chuckles at my sudden change of attitude.

"Uh, yeah." I respond smiling. He flips me over, laying me down on the bed as he hovered over me. He observes my face for a minute before leaning down, "I know it's too soon but I am seriously in love with you."

My heart explodes in happiness at his words. I was in euphoria. I place my hands on his heated cheeks, "I love you too." I pull his face closer to mine, continuing our sensual moment.

Sticks crack beneath my feet as I trail behind Bellamy. We were on the hunt for Finn, Clarke and another boy. I fidget with the gun as I try to make it feel comfortable in my hands, trying to get used to the new feeling.

I hope I wouldn't need to use this because I'd probably end up shooting Bellamy instead.

"I thought you said you were heading west. Where are you?" Monty asks over the radio. "Just keep the moon on your left, and you'll find us."

Bellamy looks at me as I struggle to hold the gun correctly. "You know what, I'll take this," Bellamy grabs the gun off my hands. "And you can have this." He places the walkie-talkie into my hands.

"You think I know how this works?" I ask Bellamy, he rolls his eyes at me. "You press the button and you talk into it. It's not that hard."

"Oh right." I mutter. I press the button, placing my mouth near the walkie-talkie. "Hey guys! Guess who just got walkie-talkie privileges!"

"Congratulations Aurora." Raven chuckles. Bellamy gives me a look that tells me to shut up. I raise my hands in surrender.

"Is anyone else hearing the signal?" Monty asks over the radio. "Just keep your eyes open." Raven responds. "I think it's the same thing we heard on the black box." Monty continues.

Bellamy looks at me, signalling that he wants to talk. I press the button as I move the walkie-talking closer to Bellamy as he speaks, "Monty, pay attention. Do you see anything? Report."

The walkie-talkie cuts out, letting out an awful sound. "There's someone in the bushes." Raven suddenly responds.

Bellamy quickly rushes away, making me jog in order to keep up with his long strides. We almost immediately find Octavia and Raven.

"Where are they? Clarke and Finn." Raven asks. I look down at the missing boy that was laying on the ground who was hurt and covered in dirt.

"Grounders took them." Myles croaks out. "Take it easy. We have to get him back to camp." Bellamy commands.

"Bell, what about Clarke and Finn?" Octavia asks, looking up at Bellamy. "Raven. I'm sorry." Bellamy tells the girl as she stands up walking away. "We need to make a stretcher." She tells us.

"Monty, we are heading home." I say into the walkie-talkie. I get no response from him, "Monty can you hear me?" I ask anxiously.

Bellamy takes the walkie-talkie from my hands as I run my hand through my hair. Stressed over the lack of communication from my dear friend.

"Monty. Monty, where the hell are you?" Bellamy questions, looking at all of us.
