"𝐰𝐡𝐲'𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐬𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝?"
"Come on. These foxholes aren't going to build themselves." Bellamy complains as he walks around the area.
I was 'helping' Raven and Jasper plant landmines. I was watching over them because they didn't trust me enough to help them build one. Which was fair enough, I wouldn't trust myself either.
Raven rolls her eyes at Bellamys continuous complaints, "Honestly Aurora, I don't get how you put up with him."
I lean onto a tree stump grinning at Raven, "I don't know either. I must be some sort of magician." I move my gaze from Raven to Bellamy, catching him staring. "Speak of the devil."
Bellamy walks up to the three of us, continuing to complain.,"You better hope those land mines work. With all the gunpowder we're wasting. We could be making more grenades."
"You want to come over here and test one?" Raven responds, annoyed. "You should put more faith in Raven. I mean, she did build a bomb." I tell Bellamy as he watches me.
"I need this entire section mined by morning. Then we finish the south field." Bellamy demands.
Raven and I march up to Bellamy, "Hey. I told you. We're going after Finn, Clarke and Monty in the morning." Raven whispers calmly.
"And I told you. Nobody leaves camp." Bellamy tells her before striding off. "I'm talking you. We can't just abandon our people!" Raven says to Bellamy, stopping him in his tracks.
I add onto Ravens rant, "They are important to us. Not only are they our friends but they have good qualities and skills that we need right now."
"You want to lead them? Show them you give a damn." Raven continues, looking Bellamy up and down judgementally.
A sudden gunshot causes me to jump back in freight. Bellamy rushes to the boy that fired, "Hey. What's the matter with you?" He growls.
"Sorry. I fell asleep. Ive been on watch all day." The boy stutters, clearly scared. Bellamy grabs the boys collar, shoving him against the tree.
I stand in between Jasper and Raven, watching the event take place. I felt stuck, I didn't know what to do. Knowing what Bellamy is capable it's better to stay away.
"We've all been on watch all day!" Bellamy yells in the boys face, "That bullet was one less dead grounder."
"Bell, you're scaring people." Octavia calmly tells him."They should be scared," He yells before letting go of the boy.
Bellamy turns around to face all of the delinquents, "The bomb on the bridge bought us some time to prepare, but that time is up. The grounders are out there right now. Waiting for us to leave and picking us off one by one when we do."
He hesitates before continuing, looking me in the eyes sadly. "Clarke, Finn and Monty are gone. Probably dead. And if you want to be next, I can't stop you. But no guns are leaving this camp. This camp is the only thing keeping us alive."
"Get back to work."
I look at Jasper, tears filling his eyes. I hold Jaspers hand reassuringly, giving it a light squeeze. "Don't listen to him. It's Monty, he'll get through whatever comes his way. He will be back as soon as you know it."
Jasper gulps, "Yeah. I hope so." I let go of his hand, patting his shoulder. "I should go check up on Bellamy, I'll see you later."

I find Bellamy in the drop-ship, leaning his hands on the table as he moves little army men around. I walk up to Bellamy, wrapping my arms around his firm torso.
I rest my cheek on his back, letting out a small sigh. "Are you okay?" I ask him softly. He hangs his head lowly, "I'm scared Peach, what if we can't defeat them?"
He turns around, looking down at me. I unwrap my arms around him, "We managed to survive from this long. What makes you think we can't survive now?"
I cup his hands in mine before continuing, "We have landmines and guns, I think that gives us an advantage."
"You can't even hold a gun." Bellamy tells me, getting worried again. "Yeah but I've got good aim. If you teach me how to hold one I'm pretty sure I would be unstoppable."
"I'm sure you would be." Bellamy says as smiles at me, pulling me between his legs, hands resting on my hips. "I just don't want anything happening to you."
I wrap my arms around his neck, "Don't go all soft on me now Bellamy Blake." I say giggling. "If we want to defeat them we need all the help we get."
I plant a quick kiss on his cold lips, "And when we do defeat them I'll be able to say I told you so."
Myles groans loudly, ruining our small moment. Jasper loudly walks in, giving Bellamy a death stare. I move away from Bellamy, feeling uncomfortable.
Jasper shakes his head, heading towards the ladder. Bellamy breaks the silence, "Don't you think I want to go after them too?"
"If it was you out there, you think Monty, Clarke or Finn would hide behind these walls?" Jasper tells him. Jasper was right. If it was Bellamy missing everyone would've already left to look for him.
"No. They'd go after me. Then they'd be dead too." Bellamy tells Jasper, "I'm doing what I think is right for the group."
"It's funny, you didn't think that way when Octavia was missing." Jasper walks past us and places his gun on the table.
Jasper walks to the ladder. "Where are you going?" Bellamy asks him.
"More gunpowder for your minefield, sir." Jasper salutes him mockingly before climbing up.
"Just let him be Bellamy. He's hurting, don't make him feel worse." I tell him, crossing my arms. He opens him mouth to talk but gets interrupted by Myles.
"Water. Please." Myles groans out. We both look at him, "I'll get you some. Peach, go with Jasper."
I nod my head at Bellamy, climbing up the ladder. "Hey Jas, need some help?" I ask him.
He shakes him head, "I'm fine, I can do this on my own." I skip over to Jasper, sitting next to him. "Too bad, you're stuck with me."
"Just don't touch anything okay?" Jasper tells me. I put my hands up in defence, "Okay boss."
Jasper picks up the tin of gunpowder, reading the label out loud. "Gun powder. This crap will blow your damn face off!"
I laugh at the writing, it's typical Raven style. "Oh but wait, there's more." Jasper adds grinning. "Keep out of reach of Aurora."
I throw my arms back, groaning. "Why don't you guys trust me, I haven't even done anything." Jasper points his finger at me, "Yet."
Jasper pours the gunpowder into a jar, coughing when particles fly around. "I think I need another jar. Stay put and don't touch anything, got it?"
"I'm not a child Jasper." I tell him, crossing my arms. "Couldn't tell." Jasper jokes as he climbs down the ladder.
I pick the dirt from underneath my fingernails as eavesdrop on the conversation that Jasper is having down below. I hear Murphys muffled voice, "He stopped breathing. I was trying to help him."
I hear the gun cock as Jasper clambers down the ladder, "Murphy, just put the gun down." My heart races, I look around the room looking for something I could use to help Jasper. "He tried to kill me." Murphy says.
My eyes land on a knife. I quietly grab it, not wanting to draw any attention to myself just yet. I crouch down beside the ladder, staring down at the sight in front of me.
Jasper steps back as Murphy pulls the gun up towards him, "Hey, don't move!" Jasper puts his hand up in defence, "Okay. It's cool."
"No it's not." Murphy tells him, slowly moving forward. Jasper looks up, his eyes begging for help. He quickly looks back down as I move out of sight. "Is someone up there?" I hear Murphy ask.
Jaspers eyes widen in fear, stuttering in response. "N-no just me." Murphy cocks the gun, shooting the ceiling. The bullet flies through, missing me by a centimetre.
I fall backwards from my crouching position, landing on my bottom with a thud. "Come down now or else Jasper gets shot."
The gun cocks again. I slip the knife into my back pocket before climbing down rapidly. "Ahh. Of course it's you." Murphy says.
"You know what will happen to me if you tell Bellamy." Murphy tells the two of us, his gun still facing Jasper.
"Tell Bellamy what?" Bellamy asks over the walkie-talkie. I sigh in relief, maybe now we have a chance of leaving safely.
"Give me the radio Jasper." Murphy demands. Jasper slowly pulls it out of his pocket, immediately placing it near his mouth. "Murphy has a gun. He killed Myles."
"Shut the hell up." Murphy rushes towards Jasper, hitting him in the head with the end of the gun. Knocking Jasper out cold. I move backwards, gasping in shock.
My body begins to tremble with fear as I drop to my knees, placing my hand on Jaspers head. That will definitely hurt when he wakes up.
"Murphy, what the hell are you doing?" Bellamy asks over the walkie-talkie. Murphy looks at me, pointing the gun at me.
Murphy slowly walks backwards, pulling the leaver to close the drop-ship door. "Murphy open the damn door!" Bellamy yells.
"If you try to be a hero, Jasper and Aurora die." Murphy yells back. "If you touch Aurora, you're dead? You hear me?" Bellamy responds, his voice terribly angry.
Murphy leans his back on the wall, facing me.
"You know, I don't want to hurt you Aurora. But Jasper put me in a tough spot here."
"We can figure this out Murphy. Nobody needs to get hurt." I tell him. Murphy shakes his head, laughing deeply. "We both know that's not true."
Murphy looks around, grabbing rope and a red belt. He grabs unconscious Jasper and sits him on one of the plastic chairs. I sit in the corner watching, hands in my hair.
Murphy ties Jasper to the seat tightly with the rope. Then proceeds to wrap the red belt around his mouth. Murphy looks at me again, his expression unreadable.
He walks up to me but gets interrupted by Bellamy talking over the walkie-talkie, "Murphy, I know you can hear me. All our ammo and food is in the middle level, you know that. You're leaving us vulnerable to an attack. I can't let that happen."
Murphy picks up the walkie-talkie, "Yeah, well, in case you haven't notice, you're not exactly in control right now."
"Come on, Murphy, you don't want to hurt them, you want to hurt me." Bellamy tells him. Murphy looks back at a now conscious Jasper. "So what do you say? How about you trade them for me?"
"All you have to do is let them go and I'll take their place." Bellamy offers. My eyes widen in shock, what the hell was he thinking.
Murphy looks at me, a thought popping up in his head as he smirks sinisterly. "How?" Murphy asks.
"Simple. You open the door. I walk in, they walk out." Bellamy tells him. Murphy grabs the gun in his hands again tightly, "I'm sorry for this Aurora."
Murphy swings his gun, smashing it into my temple. I fall from my sitting position, now laying on the floor. Jasper muffled screams in the background. I groan in pain as he failed to knock me out. "You had one job," I croak out.
"Second times the charm," Murphy says before hitting me again, successfully knocking me out this time.
