"I wonder when they'll finish." you thought to yourself. You took out your phone and decided to scroll through your socials a little bit. You heard Oikawa yell,

"Alright guys, pack your stuff up and lets get out of here."

You got up from the bleachers and grabbed your bag and started walking down the steps to catch up with someone. You scanned the room as the boys were starting to walk out and spotted the person you were looking for.

"Hey, Iwa!" you shouted.

Iwazumi turned around and replied,

"What's up y/n?"

"Hey... so it's raining outside and I was wondering if you had an extra umbrella or something that I could use so that I'm not soaking wet when I get home?" you asked.

"Oh, uhhhhhh...." he started while rummaging through his bags.

"Mmm, sorry I don't. You can have mine though! It's no problem!" he said with a smile on his face.

"Ah, no, I can't, how else are you supposed to get home without getting soaked!" you exclaimed laughing with Iwazumi.

"Seriously it's alright y/n, just take mine, I'd much rather have me get soaked instead of you." Iwazumi smiled.

"No it's okay, I don't live super far anyways I'll be fine, thank you though!" you responded while turning to walk away, that was until you heard someone call out to you.

"Hey! Y/N!" shouted a familiar voice.

You stopped in your tracks as you were very hesitant to turn around and speak to the male who was calling out after you, although, you still did. You turned around with a smile on your face and said,

"Hey... Oikawa..."

"Hey, r/n said she wanted to give you something." he said looking at r/n next to him, although you were more focused on the two interlocking fingers rather than the words that actually came out of his mouth, you soon snapped back into reality with the biggest yet fakest smile on your face saying,

"Oh, is that so?"

"Yup!" Oikawa replied.

"Here." r/n said as she handed you an umbrella.
"Sorry but I over heard you and Iwa talking and I knew I had an extra one so you could walk home without getting soaking wet!" she said giggling.
"Don't even worry about it!" she proceeded, "Tōru and I can just share one!" she stated with the biggest smile on her face.

You stared, watching the way r/n stared at Oikawa made your heart begin to ache, the way you wish you could look at Oikawa like that again. You knew exactly how she was feeling, how could you not, you were so in love with him. The way r/n's eyes sparkled when looking at Oikawa, the biggest smile and all the unintentional and unaware laughs and giggles she would let out while talking about him or even hearing his name, it all began to hurt. Your thoughts took you to a place that you wish you could revisit, no, relive. The days when you and Oikawa shared many smiles and laughs, the way you guys would share an umbrella when it was raining because he always forgot his, the ways you would tease him oh so wishing you could go back to those happy times. You lost track in your thoughts until you heard,

"Hey? Y/n? You there?" Oikawa asked.

You woke yourself up from your thoughts and looked up at Oikawa and then r/n.

"Ah, thank you so much r/n, you're the best." you said while taking the umbrella from r/n's hands while giving her a smile.

"Of course! You can even keep it if you want! You know, put it into your locker or something so this won't happen again!" r/n said with a smile on her face.

"Oh thank you so much for the offer r/n but I really wouldn't want to keep your umbrella, I'll return it tomorrow if I see you, no need to worry about me." you told her giving her a soft smile.

"If you say so!" r/n replied.

"Well, we'll be on our way, see you tomorrow!" r/n said giving you a big smile while grabbing onto Oikawas arm.

"See you y/n..." Oikawa said.

With that you said your goodbyes to find yourself alone in the gym with an umbrella in your hands looking down at the floor. Your mind began to wander, r/n's words echoing through your head,

"Of course! You can even keep it if you want! You know, put it into your locker or something so this won't happen again!"

But what if you did want this to happen again... why though? You knew the answer to that as soon as you asked it, you wanted, no, you needed an excuse to see Oikawa at any given moment again. Of course, you'd see him around the halls and in class, how could you not, there was never a second where you tried to resit the urge of staring at him. Oh how you wished you could be right next to him again with his arm around your shoulder, smiling and sharing laughs, god....you missed it so much. Hearing as r/n said they would be leaving, they, you longed for the times where you could be in her position again and say "we'll" as well and be referred to as "they" again. You missed Oikawa, a lot, but he was happy, you were starting to get upset and almost began to cry with all these thoughts running through your mind until your train of thought was interrupted by a loud thud. You looked up and saw Iwazumi walking away from a door.

"So that's what the thud was, why was it so loud when he closed the door...is he tryna break it or something? Either way, thanks Iwa." you spoke to yourself.

"Oh hey! Y/n!" Iwazumi spoke out to you while jogging towards you.

"What are you still doing here?" he asked.

"Oh I was just looking for something by the bleachers, what about you what are you doing here?" you replied.

"Oh, after Oikawa called out to you I realized I had forgot something in the locker room so I went over there to go look for it." he answered.

"Anyway the team left me with the key so I guess you're lucky I was here and didn't lock you in." Iwazumi said while laughing.

"Yeah I guess so huh?" you said while forcing a laugh trying to hold back the tears.

"Hey...you okay?" Iwazumi asked.

"Huh? What? Oh! Yeah! I'm fine! I'm totally fine why do you ask?" you quickly responded forcing a smile.

"Oh..it's just..I don't know you looked like you were about to cry..." he said.

"Oh! No! Ahahaha, something just got in my eye!" you desperately tried to say without your voice cracking.

"Hey...It's ok to cry you know...I'm here...there's no reason to hide it...." Iwazumi stated.

"No I'm fine!" you said with the biggest yet fakest smile on your face with tears streaming out your eyes.

"Hey..." Iwazumi said then pulling you into a hug.

You stood there with his arms around you, your fake smile going away as you brought your arms up to hug him back and gripping on his shirt while sobbing.

"Iwa..."'you started in between your sobs,

"I miss him." you finished, crying even harder.

omgmgmgmg okay i FINALLY WROTE THIS CHAPTER OH MAH GOD, even though its kinda doodoo, im so sorry i haven't updated, i suck i know pls, i had a sudden urge to write this and i just finished it as its currently 1:35 am pls T_T, it aint a school night doe so we good :p
ive been going insane as these past few weeks ive just been focused on studying for exams pls, i promise that as soon as exams are over ill update more. im gonna probably go to sleep once i wrap this up and then edit it laterrrr and then publish it because i wanna get something out to you guys as soon as possible but still have it be a good chapter, this chapter included a lot of dialog as i hope it didn't bother you too much but if it does pls let me know lolol, anyway i miss yall so much and i hope youre all staying happy, safe, and healthy! don't forget to eat and drink water and i am so very proud of you every single day! ilysm and im gonna go dip and get some sleep now, bye! :p <333
