You didn't expect for the boys to agree with you to go observe the Oedolgae Rock to where Jinyoung drives you all after taking your lunch in a seafood restaurant.

It was one of the attractions in Jeju and it was formed when a volcano erupted about 150,000 years ago. The name means "lone rock pillar" and that’s very much true.

To get there, you have to walk a trail which was exciting and that's even more amazing for the boys who'd competed together on who can reach the destination first and the place it's a part of Olle Trail route 7.

The surrounding area is a popular fishing spot as well and Jinyoung said you might spot people doing scuba diving from down the inviting bluish water, at least you know it's all about the reflection of the water from the sky above.

But really, after hearing a fishing spot is present, Jake told Jinyoung to take a stop in one of the store in the way there just to buy a fishing equipment for himself.

"Do you want to try fishing as well?", you remember Jake asking you there.

When you shake your head, only wanting to walk in a trail and to capture pictures, Sunghoon offered himself and only for Jake to ignore him.

"You're not her, so buy one yourself", Jake was saying before Jay calling Sunghoon to his side and bought the ice skater one himself.

By the time you reached the start of the trail, you didn't imagine it to be quite crowded and maybe that was a stupid assumption to make.

If there was one thing you should learn from an attraction sight, it was to realize it's going to be a big deal for every tourist but that didn't mean you were not having fun.

Jake and Huening along Leo walked to the front of your group following Jinyoung as he is still your guide. The wind is already causing for your hair to fly around and Jay removed his cup from his head before setting it down your head to make it easier for you.

Whilst he was at your side, Sunghoon held onto your hand as you weaved through the crowds of people, having somehow lost your friends among the tides of different faces all at once.

"How could you even lost them when Kai is towering over them with his golden head?", Jay remarked, helping Sunghoon to look around for your group.

"There are other taller people than him if you remember", Sunghoon retort back, but not really annoyed.

"But not all of them can look good in blonde hair", Jay argued then shield you from an incoming group of american guys passing by.

"Look at those foreigners, they're all taller than him", Sunghoon pointed out then.

There's something you didn't point out yourself that you'd noticed from this foreigners. They were the same guys Jinyoung warned you about and now you could tell, because as they passed, Jay didn't feel it as a hand squeezed a bit in your butt out of a sudden.

As you look behind you to check who did it, there's so many strangers around to pinpoint just who had the nerves to touch you down there.

Letting out a slight huff from before you, Sunghoon looked through the crowd again and saw Jinyoung waving a hand to tell him where your group was. He pulled you in that direction, so you did the same for Jay, keeping him to your side for added protection.

Finally getting a look at who was standing by a few feet away from your group, you nearly cursed under your breath to see who they are.

Why did the American guys now have to be so close to your friends?

They gave you a bad feeling about them.

When you walked closer to the boys, Sunghoon spotted someone familiar among the crowd and leaves you holding onto Jay.

"Eunsoo!", he called out, and ran towards a pretty girl with other teenagers you now think is familiar as the other ice skaters.

In your turn, you looked over to your group, feeling an ultimate relief for Jake asking now Jinyoung to lead you all at the fishing spot and it would lead you away from the American guys before your mood flanked down to zero.

When you get onto Jake's side, out of the corner of your eye, you caught one of the Americans's gaze fixed onto you. Now you really regret wearing a short over a slightly cropped shirt as he walked over to you with a smile.

He must be goodlooking for a foreigner, with a curly hair and sharp cheekbones, reminding you of a Timothee Chalamet. Yet the one of your type is among your company.

Seeing his determined movement, you instantly moved away and headed back to Jay whilst simultaneously ignoring his call and Jay upon noticing him, placed a hand in your waist as if to show dominance.

Which is for your own good anyway.

"Come on, guys", Jake as the other boys begun to usher you down the fishing spot, "I want a fresh fishes for our dinner!"

As Sunghoon comes back to your group saying the ice skaters as well for a vacation, it only takes a few seconds for Jay to warn him about some foreigners and they both stood on either side of you, eyeing the way the American group is now obvious that they're after you.

"Do they have not something better to do?", Sunghoon muttered under his breath, making sure for only you and Jay to hear.

"Yes, I'm going to admit Y/N is very pretty, but honestly, she's with us and yet they're still making a move?", Jay agreed with him while you were just looking forward in the path.

This will certainly not end in a good day if the American guys would not stop from what they were doing.

"Just don't mind them guys", you assured them, clinging into their arms and leading them closer to your group ahead of you.

Once the other boys heard about the American group, Kai and Leo placed themselves behind you with Jake staying in the front with Jinyoung. They certainly stood like they were on guard.

For this reason, you can't help but smile gratefully whenever each of them looked out for you.

In your perspective, you've never truly felt safe until now.

The fishing went on for hours with Jake telling you all about his experiences about it from Australia and it gradually grew to a close with an exciting finish of a whole bucket of fishes in his hand.

It's time then to go back at the resort.

As the night grew deeper, the boys had invited you up the rooftop and Jay is there along Jake. Both of them preparing to grill the fish and octopus in the grill pan.

Leo and Kai is helping Sunghoon to prepare for a samgyupsal and also making a ramen to warm yourselves off from the cold breeze air of the beach.

Seeing you have nothing to do, Jay went off with an order for you to take one of his special sauce from his bag at your shared room, so you walked down there and get in there, only be disturbed by such a ruckus noises from the next villa.

You groaned internally when one of this American guys saw you from their perch over their beach chairs and the same guy from before walked towards you, he stopped before the sliding door to wave at you.

Before he could speak up a word, you stood up from Jay's bag and prepared yourself to walk away from him. But his deep accented voice stopped you from moving any further.

"Hey, I just wanted to be friends is all", is what he said and you closed your eyes momentarily.

But then, a shadow went over your figure and it's for you to open your eyes to see who it was.

Jake came to a stop beside you, and he is holding a large knife in his hand for the fish, not for a person to be clear. You suddenly become acutely aware of how this must be scary for the curly haired guy as he immediately run back to his friend without a word.

"Thank you", you said, turning to face Jake with a smile.

"I guess that we shouldn't be really leaving you alone", he locked his eyes onto yours and you struggled not to look away.

They were always so intense, his eyes whenever they were looking at you, like they were full of something you couldn't identify or rather that you didn't want to identify.

Somehow, up to this point, there's still a small part of you who is scared to fall for any of them but you already did without knowing how or when did it started.

"Why are we slowly drifting away from each other?", Jake asked then, taking his chance while he have you alone.

You muttered your answer before you had any chance of stopping yourself, "Well, maybe I would not stop if a certain boy would stop kissing me whenever we're alone"

You reflected back to the time you have with him in Australia and the following days after return to school, it's all a blur of him kissing you at every chances he get especially after the fight you had with him when he hears you were just using him.

The answer was clearly the opening that Jake had been looking for as he holds the knife in one hand and to his back before leaning closer towards you, and you moved to step back a bit.

"Maybe it's a way for me to show how I couldn't get enough of you", he muttered helplessly.

"I think I've had enough with the three of you kissing me all the time", you muttered, turning to leave and you made it no more than four steps away when Jake called you to stop again.

"What do you want me to do?", he asked as you turned to look at him with confused eyes, trying to figure out if you were hearing it wrong.

He added quickly, "Do you want me to stop? Just say so"

So you nod at him, "Obviously"

"What about Sunghoon?", he asked, cocking his head to the side slightly as he inched closer to you and you eyed the shrinking gap between the two of you, "And Jay?"

"Jay hadn't kiss me since we broke up", you said simply for him to understand, "I mean really, what's with you and Sunghoon just grabbing me for a smooch?"

"Alright then, what if I stop?"

"Then the more good for me", you said calmly, but not really calm inside.

"And what's next?", Jake replied, and you caught it then, his tone becoming too interested at what your answer would be like.

"You're too persistent", the answer from you was instantaneous.

"Some girls think that's an endearing quality", Jake locked his eyes onto yours with a cute smile.

The look in his eyes and the mere centimeters of space between the two of you left no doubt in your mind that it's time for you to leave.

To leave before you fall over again for the guy who just can't help but stay in your mind all the time.

"Well, I'm not some girls", you said and when you to turned to leave, his hand caught ahold of your wrist and you stiffened at his hold.

He stepped forward pressing his chest against your back and you could hear it, felt it even, the hammering of his heart from his chest, mirroring yours in the moment.

"Well", Jake said quietly, the words no more than a whisper to your hair, "you should know that you're my safe place and my biggest adventure, so I'll never stop taking you back to be with me"

He stepped away from you and you turned back to still see him waiting behind, waiting for your response.

Only this time you had no response. One look into his passionate eyes and the words had died on your lips.

Maybe tonight, you think you should begin praying for your dumb poor heart because sooner or later, it would want to explode.
