After you walked into the bedroom you shared with Jay, fresh from the bath and adorably looking good in your pajamas, he made it a mission to stay out of the room before his heart burst out at the sight.

He had been walking in the beach for hours now so late in the night, relentlessly trying not to think about you with no success. It was a futile effort.

It's already 1 am when he returns and the villa is already quiet, he could see his friends already deep in their sleep as he passed by in open doors of their rooms.

As he entered the one you shared with him, he pauses by the doorway and there you are laying in your bed, fast asleep with your legs stretched out beyond the blanket. The pajama you wore is thin and you're shivering in your sleep.

Jay's eyebrows furrow together and he takes the blanket from the foot of your bed, pulling it out from beneath your outstretched leg and drape it over your body.

You don't move a muscle after a minute, everything is still for a long while but your back as you take silent shallow breath and the serene sight seems to bring out something in Jay that has never existed before.

They say the curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back, and he can't imagine leaving himself unsatisfied by the end of this year.

He would try to get you back, slowly and in a gentlemanly ways like you deserve.

It might be a slow process but if that's the way to get you back, then so be it.

The next morning, Jake was the first to get up among the boys and not because he can't sleep well, but so that he could be the first to see you since he knew, you were damn so excited to see the sunrise over the ocean.

His eyes found you from his perch in the rooftop of the villa the moment you left the front door, still in your pajamas and barefooted, as if afraid that he would lose you in sight.

You scanned the surroundings before heading to Jinyoung who, by the way, helping the cleaners around to clean the sandy beach of any leaves from the trees around the area. The two of you talked but innocently enough for Jake to be calm inside.

"Good morning!", Huening Kai greeted from behind Jake and he started, realizing with no doubt that he was caught watching you from his spot.

"Good morning", Jake said back quietly as Kai places himself before him.

From over his shoulder, Jake could still watch you and he found you being approached by one of those American guys, and it's a different guy this one, one with a beard around his face, so it makes him look older.

Jake continued to watch and were waiting to see what you will do, and this is how it happens while he was up there, not really hearing anything from his place.

"You woke up so early", was the first thing that Jinyoung said when you approached. He was looking at your still uncombed hair, "How's your sleep?"

"It's nice enough to sleep in the accomodation", you said playfully, giving him a teasing smile, "Were you fishing for a compliment about this resort?"

He was about to reply when an all too familiar face of a foreigner from the American group and with a beard, much to your disgust, then walked up to the two of you, followed closely by the curly haired one.

"What do you two want?", you asked in exasperation, looking at the two of them with a frown.

"Why don't you smile more? You would be prettier that way", the bearded one says, having the guts to really wink at you.

Instantly, you think your day went down to ruins like a sand castle being trampled down by the waves.

"Why don't you shave your facial hair?", you began, not stopping your mouth from being sharp at his face, "It looks like your pubic hair has sprouted all over your face"

It might not be your finest moment, but them trying to get a move on you since the first day is really getting to your head and can't they get the clue that you don't want anything to do with them?

"Excuse me?", he demanded as he stepped forward immediately at your words after hearing Jinyoung's snort about what you said.

"Excuse me, I'm about to go back in my villa in order to puke there because of seeing your face", you said, brushing past the two of them to walk back in your villa.

Back in his seat, Jake is smiling as you precisely looked disgusted from the Americans and now you were walking away, and on your way back to the villa, still not seeing him from the rooftop.

"Where would the wedding take place?", Kai asked, making Jake reluctantly pulls his eyes away from you, "I should be the best man"

"What are you saying?", Jake asked, looking back at you when Kai looked at your direction as well.

"Just thought that you should know that you look so inlove with her", Kai said casually then he paused and grinned widely, "You know my sister told me that if a girl turns when you're watching then she likes you back. She might not know it yet but she does"

Jake looked at him, not believing a single word he said and he was quick to voice it, "You don't even know a thing about love"

"You can ask your brother if you don't believe me", Kai suggested with a shrug.

Slowly, Jake turned back in your direction, with the tiniest hope in his heart that his friend is right. That you would look up and turn to watch him back in return. But why would you?

When you're lighting up at the call of Sunghoon from the front door and Jake's shoulders sagged down as you disappeared from his point of view without even looking up once to see him.

Kai clapped a hand onto his shoulder, "Don't worry about it, dude, you have more time left to win her over"

"I hope so", this words left Jake's mouth in a whisper.

"What was that?", Kai asked, not clearly hearing it.

"Nevermind. Let's just go down for the breakfast", Jake said before standing up and gesturing for the two of them to finally climb down.

But after reaching the kitchen, it's to see you laughing over Jay's effort of making your pancake smiling with the maple syrup and Sunghoon is there as well, the look in his eyes were frightening for Jake.

Frightening because he could say that it was the same look he was giving you all the time.

The impossible was happening; you were slowly becoming more attached to Jay. Somehow, without a fail, even if your eyes did want to wander over Sunghoon and Jake, with Jay appearing to make you laugh, you can't help but stare at him secretly.

It was inevitable because even this morning, he was the first person you see in the bed actually and Jake was right when he said one time that Jay is naturally cute.

You weren't lying when you confessed to Jay that he is your crush and it was just intensifying the more you appreciated him.

But it seems Sunghoon wouldn't also make it easier. Not when he let you see how he was the fittest out of the three at the time your group all came out for the sea to swim.

He wore a very tight swimming shirt, emphasizing his muscles in your eyes before he takes a running start through the shore before jumping in the direction of Kai and Leo in the ocean and splashing them.

While Jay and Jake is at the side, talking to the surfer who will teach them how to surf.

When you joined them by the water, each of them splashes you once you surface and a water fight starts.

"Goddamnit", Leo says with his eyes facing something behind you as you splash him and he doesn't react.

You turned around and your mouth nearly opens before Kai closes it for you. Jinyoung is standing there from the shore, topless and showing off his perfect body for some girls to salivate over his figure.

Leo shoves you with a devious grin aimed directly at you, obviously catching your dubious perusal of the older guy. You were still looking over Jinyoung when you don't notice Sunghoon swimming over you until you hear his voice.

"How the hell am I supposed to calm down myself when he just appeared and you haven't stop eye-fucking him?", he growls quietly, motioning for you to stop staring.

"Oh my god, stop saying that about me", you winced, knowing that you just basically show an attraction to a guy.

"Relax, Jake, we would make sure this girl will keep her hands to herself", Kai smiles and he slaps your back.

If he only knew that the thought of you being touched by other boys even him, Sunghoon has his hands clutching beneath the water. The fact that you were looking guilty helps him calm down though.

"Let's have another chicken fight!", Leo yells, looking over at you and smirking.

What the hell is he planning?, you asked to yourself and you got the answer when he climbed onto Kai's shoulder and leave you and Sunghoon looking at each other to see if it's okay with one another.

The two boys look at you expectantly and you cringed, trying to look like the pairing doesn't bother you when in reality, you were dying inside but little did you know, Sunghoon was pleased inside.

Very very pleased that he will be your partner.

He wade over to you slowly and you just look at all of them in confusion, "What is a chicken fight?", you asks, so adorably for Sunghoon that he almost sighs.

"Climb on and you'll find out", he said with a smirk, and you look at him as if he was going to eat you.

As much as Sunghoon like to joke around, he turn his back to face you and duck under the water. He feels your soft hands in his shoulder and your legs wrap around him innocently.

Standing up with you in his shoulder, your thighs tightens around his neck and Sunghoon stifle a groan as you tug at his manbun.

As he keeps a good hold on you, he ensures that you stay on, if not just to have you closer and no one else for as long as possible.

"Just watch, Princess", Sunghoon says as Huening Kai waded closer and Leo attempted to wrestle you off but you eventually give in to your competitive nature.

And yet, Leo was still much too strong for you to push him off, so the result is you being shoved off of Sunghoon's shoulder.

Instead of just letting you fall, Sunghoon latched his arms around your body before you can even go under the water. He push your hair out of your face and you look up at him with a huge smile.

It was blinding, blinding more than the sun above and maybe because he was just inlove, inlove with that pretty smile.

"That was so fun!", you shriek, "I want a repeat to take down Leo!", you say, trying to spin him by gripping him by the shoulders but Sunghoon doesn't budge.

He's just standing there, blinking up before he smiled shyly at what he had just realized in his head.

"Sunghoon", you pleaded, looking up at him with that eyes as you try to climb him like a tree, "I wanna win over them"

The way you say it, in addition to your wet skin against him, causes an alarm going off in his hormones and because of this, Sunghoon breaks eyes contact and wade over the shore, stepping out of the water in order to calm all of him.

"Don't you want to see a video of me surfing?", Jake asks as he passes him, but Sunghoon did not reply and only grabbed the towel off of the lawn chair.

"Don't follow me, just please this one time", Sunghoon said before rushing up to the villa while grumbling under his breath.

When he dared a one glance at your group, he didn't fail to notice the look of disappointment in your eyes as he just left you alone there.

You're too innocent for your own good in his opinion.
