After a changing into a summer blue dress on top of a bikini tank and short, you decided to wander the resort a bit and get to know your surroundings.

After all, you'll be here in three days.

You open the sliding door in your room and close it behind you, walking towards the direction of the shore where the water clashes with the sand. It feels hot in the first soak of your feet then cool enough for you to wander alone.

With your eyes scanning everything around, you recognized that most people walking here and there is a tourists and only a few citizens is there, maybe because it isn't still holidays.

And your eyes light up at the sight of a pool from the side with all those extreme slide to enjoy it more.

"You're finally free from them?", you hear a deep voice coming from behind you. You turned around to see Bae Jinyoung looking at you curiously.

"I'm sorry if they managed to weird you out a bit", you say with a smile, holding out your hand. He shakes it with a laugh, shaking his head.

"I should be careful around them though", Jinyoung told you, making you furrow your eyebrows, confused.

"I mean, them saying you already have a boyfriend", he clarifies and your face clears in realization.

Right then, you wondered if it would be a good idea to entertain Jinyoung or not, if only to see who among the three will turn up first and how would they react is the question.

Jake would possibly be the scariest since he is always the most patient from what you've seen of him so far.

"I live here by the way. In fact, I'm a nephew of the owner", Jinyoung smiles and leaned against the tree behind him, "If you need someone to show you around, I'd be happy to for free, of course"

"That's the one I actually need right now. Are you free now?", you asked. He seems really nice and if he lives here, he could tell you more about Jeju Island.

"Absolutely. Let's go then", he says, leading you away from the direction of the villa of your group.

It's up to them now how to find you or how they will manage themselves because for now, you're putting your own enjoyment first.

"I'd really love that", you say completely honest. You could tell Jinyoung would be a nice guide.

Jinyoung shows you all around the resort saying how you were in an area called Iho Tewoo beach and how they have services for surfing along the fact they were near the downtown of Jeju.

He goes over the main areas a couple of times and says their resort is not busy for this month, and tells you how there is a several american guys visiting them which is only a few distant from your group's villa, so he tells you that you should be careful and should also stay in your friends's company.

Why does everyone talk about boys like they are wild animals?, is the question you have for yourself.

But from what you've experienced and had seen so far in this world, you knew better than to doubt it.

Their group, as usual, even so far away from Bighit Academy, is a hive of chaoticness as Jay walked around the kitchen to check if the food he ordered in advance was in there and is complete without missing anything.

After seeing the things he wanted to cook and grill in the night is there in order, he decides it would be better for him to spend more time outside. Besides, it was sunny outside and he could use the fresh air.

As he walked out from the villa, his eyes scanned over the beach, looking for some lounging chair over the shore. There, under two coconut tree, is Jake lying in a swing and so he made his way over to his friend.

"Hi, can I join you?", Jay said once he was standing beside the swing and Jake looked up from taking a selfie.

"Hello", Jake said, turning off his phone and scoot to the side, giving Jay a space to sit as he waited for him to speak, "Where's Y/N -"

His words were cut off as Kai rans past the two of them, wearing a mischievous smirk as he roars in laughter and waving something in the air. Both Jay and Jake look over their shoulder to spot a very red looking Leo as he followed shortly after Kai, and they understood why.

His underwear was the one being waved for everyone walking around to see.

They both laughed as they watched Leo attempt to tackle Huening Kai to the ground and only for the latter to dodge around him and Leo found himself sprawled across the sand.

At the sound of approaching footsteps, they both looked up to see Y/N and they squinted slightly against the glare of the sun or the shine in her smile.

When the girl was near to Jay, he felt those butterflies around, just like they always did whenever she is at reach. But unfortunately for him, Jake was always near as well to her.

Y/N smiled at them before squatting down in the plastic chair she had gotten from the villa. Her wearing a summer dress was such a cute sight for them.

Jay then took the opportunity to look at her smile. It wasn't her regular smile; the one that was so innocent and full of joy. Instead, this one was sly, as if she had done something so good for her own amusement.

"Alright", Jay muttered, facing her with a slight sigh, "What did you do?"

"What?", she just asked, watching the new war between Leo and Kai.

"What else?", he asked, waving to the direction of her new entertainment.

"I have no idea what you're talking about", Y/N protested with an innocent shake of her head.

He raised an eyebrow, "Really?"

Y/N glanced around slowly as if scanning the area for a threat and then moved closer towards him, so that she could lean to whisper in his ear. Jay squashed the urge not to be flustered, catching sight of the look in Jake's face beside him.

He knew that Jake was actually listening to them.

"Well", Y/N whispered quietly to Jay, "I might have helped Kai to open the password in Leo's luggage, so that he could prank him", she pulled back to regain some distance betwern the two of them, "He's paying me to buy the souvenirs for Sunoo and Heeseung"

"Seriously, you'll do everything for free things?", Jay questioned but he can't hide the smile from being once again surprised by her determination.

To think about it, she's even one of the heiress of the Hwang family if she's not only rejecting that position nowadays. She was more contented to be determined in getting free things from her friends.

She shrugged easily, "It was offered, so why not?"

Jay rolled his eyes at her and watched as Jake stood up from the swing, leaving the pretence of not listening to them.

He brushed off his shirt and muttered under his breath, "I'll just stop this squabble between kids"

Jake let out a sigh and walked over to the face off between Leo and Kai. Leo caught sight of him and froze before hiding his underwear behind him out of humiliation. He suddenly became quiet as he dropped Kai to the ground.

Kai scrambled to his feet and turned to laugh at Leo without noticing Jake stopping behind him, looking so done. When he finally noticed him, and the look in his face, he immediately hids behind Leo to use him as a shield.

"He's so obvious", Y/N said laughing as you watched how Jake stressed how childish Kai was becoming.

"He's not the only one", Jay said casually, making her look over with her eyes wide.

He didn't look at her, so she turned back to watch their friends where Huening Kai and Leo is now pushing Jake over to the waters, threatening to bring him down in the deepest part where his short legs than theirs couldn't reach.

Jay cleared his throat, noticing Sunghoon as he stepped out of the villa. Scanning the view in front of him, his eyes fell onto Y/N and he walked towards them. He settled down beside Jay in the swing as he began to talk to her.

As they continued to talk, Jay couldn't help but notice how well they looked together. He sighed internally before catching sight of the prodding look of Sunghoon that he kept sending his direction.

It means he wanted some time alone with Y/N.

Jay wondered whether he should act on the ice skater's obvious hint or not. He could have acted oblivious to it but decided not to act against it.

When he rise slowly to his feet, Jay gave the pair one last glance and smiled slightly at Y/N's look of askance. He turned to walk away, passing Jake who had now move on from their friends and they're all now in the water, disappearing from time to time in the waves.

"Where are you going, Jay?", Y/N asked from behind him, halting him mid-step.

"I will just take a look around here in the resort", he said, looking back at her but also seeing Jake's feet is being tugged by both Leo and Kai as they dragged him into the sea.

"Are you alright?", Y/N also rose to her feet and walked closer towards Jay, leaving Sunghoon behind.

"Why wouldn't I be?", Jay turned around to face her, wishing he wasn't too obvious, "Why are you even asking that?"

"I can go with you if you want me to", Y/N suggested, not aware that Sunghoon is frowning in the swing.

"No, thanks Y/N, but it's fine", Jay smiled slightly and decides to go run at the water, preparing to plunge himself in there, "I'm just going to check if Jake is still alive under the water"

Her face suddenly clouded over, "I don't think it would be a good idea to bring a corpse with us on our way back to Seoul", she muttered as Jay turned to dive and she sat back with Sunghoon in the swing.

It's obvious to Jay that Y/N has no idea how several boys from near them is looking at her. The way she acts so comfortable around Sunghoon and she is usually not the type to mind her surrounding when talking to someone.

For him, she is an angel with a broken wings because of her past inside a body of a devil and he wanted to break her out of her protected shell.

Keeping his eyes off of her had been hard that it feels like a torture worse than hell.

But what worse is, the other friend of his is already winning the game.
