When you first met Sunoo, the first impression you have of him is already on the good side.
You don't know because he had a natural air of being everyone's friend or that he is cute or in the days you want to be away from the boys in your class, you just needed to call him and he will be there to be your distraction.
Perhaps because of his positive effect on you, Heeseung commented that you'd sooner take Sunoo as your brother.
It's not that really of a bad idea if you may say so yourself.
As you walked into the library, to help him with his assignment, Sunoo keeps on talking that Ni-ki had yet to return his earbuds for today.
If the threat to your peace is either Sunghoon or Jay, his is Ni-ki.
The two of you headed into a table and once you sat, you rummaged to find a pen in your bag. You were startled when Sunoo nudged you roughly with his elbow.
Without lifting your head, you asked, "What? Do you not think it's not hurting me?"
Sunoo didn't say a word and nudged you again, making you turn your head towards him with a frown. You arched an eyebrow when he gestured to something with his head.
"My god, Sunoo, you've got a big mouth. Use it!", you remarked impatiently.
"I think he's trying to make you look at me", a voice suddenly spoke out.
The palms of yours is itching again when you look up to find Jay standing in front of your table. He didn't seem to care about the suggestive looks he was getting from the other male students in the other table.
They were now not ignorant to the fact that your classmates is all chasing after you, they got it because of the disaster in the dorm party.
He grinned down at you, eyes sparkling with something as he waited for you to say a word.
"You actually know to step inside a library?", you commented as his expression shifted, as if he didn't expect you to say that.
He didn't let it throw him as he crossed his arms and used them to prop him up against the table as he leaned towards you, "Why? Did you not think I could get here? I'm smart too, Y/N"
"So am I", you reminded him, signalling Sunoo to close his mouth in advance, "But I don't even want to be here because of your appearance"
"Then what about our bet?", he says, now awfully closing in.
"Want a taste of my palm?", you said pointedly but he just shrug innocently.
"If you continue to talk to me like that, you're just challenging me to kiss that tempting lips", Jay smiled at his own suggestion.
"Honestly", you muttered under your breath, stifling a groan, "What do you want, Jay?"
"I just thought I'd test whether I could caught you off guard", he shrugged and you made a face that says he's annoying.
"It's not the first time you said that about me", he admitted easily as if he was already used to it.
So you just nod at him to confirm the statement, "Question remains, why are you bothering me?"
"What are friends for?"
"We're friends?", you asked bluntly, watching as Jay reared back a little as though the words had been a physical slap to his face.
But it made you wonder how he could keep up with your dumbness not to appreciate his effort.
It didn't phase him for long before he asked with a smile, "If we're not friends, then what are we, a couple?"
"A couple of acquaintances", The word seemed to offend Jay and you hurried to defend yourself, "I don't know why we can become friends after Giselle"
"Fine, then I guess I just have to kiss you for you to accept being friends", he suggested.
"I don't make friends easily with an ex", you warned before gesturing to Sunoo who was enjoying to listen, "This is the kind of friend I'd to have and you don't make the cut"
Jay laughed at that, leaning back towards you again as he asked, "Let me be the exception please?"
And this time, you couldn't help but laugh as he tried to be cute before cringing to himself. As you reached out to push him, you started a little when he caught your hand and held it for a moment before dropping it abruptly.
"I'm taking your silence as an acceptance", he warned, just as the librarian who thinks he's becoming too loud stop from behind him.
"Even if I reject, you wouldn't listened to me anyway", you pointed out the obvious.
"You're right", Jay agreed in a heartbeat, drawing from your table when the librarian cleared her throat.
You watched as he walked towards the door before calling out, "I'll visit you in your dorm later!"
This time, the librarian glanced in your way and you could only look away in embarassment. You looked back to your bag and continued to search for your pen.
Once the the librarian walked forward to shush the snickering juniors, you finally lifted your head. Only it was now someone else's turn to bother you.
Sunoo reached out to nudge you again and when you turned towards him, he leaned in close to whisper at you, "What the hell did I just watch?"
"Your own business, I hope", you muttered pointedly.
"What's going on with you and Jay hyung now?", he pressed and you rolled your eyes for him to see.
"Absolutely nothing. At least, not what you're thinking, so stop", you said as you finally fished out a pen.
"So there is something going on that I should know?", Sunoo demanded, lowering his tone when the librarian's eyes glanced at him.
"You heard it all, what else do you need to hear?", you said it in hopes of him stopping.
"So why-"
"Will you be quiet?", you hissed, turning towards Sunoo with what he called your bitch face.
It was enough to have him drawing away from you, "Yes, ma'am"
By the end of you helping him in assignment, you went straight to your dorms to change in a casual outfit to go in a walk alone around the school.
Hopefully, no one would disturb you in your hopes of clearing your mind.

Bighit Academy is certainly a huge compound that you find it to yourself to read the brochure again to see how much hectares it actually scoped in this land.
It's already been thirty minutes since you started to walk from the dormitory down to the buildings and now found your path into the back where they actually have their own park.
Full of pine trees with a paved stone paths going in many directions and there were benches under the shade when one needs to take a rest. It kinda reminds you of the scene where Jan Di came across Ji Ho practicing his violin.
But in your case, it happens as well, only for you to see Sunghoon standing by the small white bridge overlooking a manmade pond.
He is cutting pieces of bread to throw it down one by one by the waiting koi fishes. This must be the first time you see him alone after the kiss that night.
For some reason, he looks sad as he looks down quietly at the fishes.
You almost wanted to leave him in his own thought, but just as you were planning to do so, he spoke up without looking up.
"Come here", is what he only said.
Despite of all the warnings in your head, you still walk up to him and seeing no harm in it when it looks like he was here in the same reason, to clear his mind.
From time to time, some needed to be away from the crowd to recover from so much socializing. It can be tiring, you know.
"What are you doing out here?", you asked once you came to a stop beside him.
He looked up from the water, his eyes reflecting the light from the sun hitting the pond below and it looks ethereal, "What do you think?"
"You didn't exactly answer my question", you admitted, adding a little hesitantly, "Are you okay?"
"I don't know. Tell me, are you and Jake together again?", he acknowledged it with a sad smile.
You wanted to ask that to yourself as well, but to tell the truth, you're as clueless as him to what you have with Jake. The boy, for all his affection, still didn't call it anything. That's understable from what happened last time.
Maybe this time, Jake wanted to take it slow.
"I'm confused as well to what we have", you muttered under your breath, turning to Sunghoon when you saw him look curiously at you from the corner of your eye.
Raising an eyebrow, you asked, "What is it?"
He watched you silently for a moment, seeming to consider his words before he admitted, "You're not I thought what you'd be like"
"First impression doesn't really work", you began with a furrowed brows as you added, "but yet you thought you knew me? There's so much in me that all of you don't know"
Your words throw him off a little, clearly not matching the image he's previously built of you in his head.
But then Sunghoon was chuckling to himself, rubbing the back of his neck, "Sorry about that"
"Nah, it's okay, I'm used to it", you began to tease him, "You should be honored I'm always honest with you"
"I'll never forget that", he smiled like he was already contented in topics like this.
You laughed quietly, shaking your head and looking down at the kois, but you never seemed to get far when Sunghoon started talking about why this is his favorite place in this school.
The more the two of you conversed, the more you realised that he was a good guy. He didn't seemed like the intimidating celebrity you made him out to be, he wasn't the immature child you fight with in the camp either.
When the two of you head to the dorm at the same time, you can only say one thing for him to do.
To finally make up with Jake since you knew, that boy misses his bestfriend as well.
The last thing you would want is to be the reason their friendship ends that they built to be strong before they even met you.

Yay! She is getting to know Sunghoon more but wait, I couldn't say the same for Jay.
I would not let that happen to my bias.
