"SHE'S SUFFERED A SEVERE LACERATION TO HER LARYNX," Grace spoke as she placed her hands on Allison's neck. "One of you will need to give blood."

"I will," Luther, Diego, Klaus and Five spoke at the same time then gave each other looks.

"I will. I'm doing it," Luther moved forward, revealing his wrist out for Grace to stick the needle in.

"I'm afraid that's not possible, dear boy. Your blood is more compatible with mine," Pogo spoke as Klaus started to step forward.

"Hey, don't sweat it. I. . . I got this, big guy. I. . . I love needles," Klaus tapped his inner arm.

"Master Klaus. Your blood is. . . How shall I say this? Too polluted."

"Move," Diego moved him aside. "I'll do it," he showed his wrist. Grace moved next to him and unclasped the needle causing him to roll his eyes back into his head and fall to the floor.

"Stick him," Pogo grumbled.

The two other siblings excused themselves and left the room. "Is she okay?" Elli ran up to Klaus.

"Yeah, she's fine. Just needed some blood," he told her and placed a hand on her shoulder as he walked by.

"What now?" she asked Five.

"We first wait for Diego to wake up then we'll regroup and everything," he told her as he walked away from the medical room, her following.

"Wait, what's up with Diego?" she asked as they walked side by side to the living room area.

"He's a bit scared of needles and passed out," he chuckled as he made his way over to the couch.

"Well," Elli sighed as she crossed her arms. "I don't blame him. I'm scared of needles too but not to the point that I'll pass out. I'm gonna go to the kitchen and grab something to snack on. You want anything?" Five shook his head and Elli nodded, making her way out.

"The bastard that nearly killed our sister's still out there, with Vanya," Diego paced as him, Five, Klaus and Elli were all now in the living room. "We need to go after her."

"Vanya is not important," said Five.

"Hey, that's your sister," Diego and Elli spoke in unison.

"A little heartless even for you, Five," Diego lectured.

"I'm not saying I don't care about her, but if the apocalypse happens today, she dies along with the other seven billion of us," Five believed. "Harold Jenkins is our first priority."

"I agree. Let's go," agreed Diego.

"I thought you just said that we needed to go after Vanya? You guys are horrible at keeping your word," Elli rolled her eyes.

"You guys count me out," Klaus spoke suddenly. "I mean, you know, no offense or whatever. It's just. . . I kind of feel like this is a whole lot of pressure for newly-sober me, so. . ."

"You're coming," Diego insisted.

"No, no, no. I mean, I think we can all agree that my power's. . . I mean, it's pretty much useless. I'd just be holding you guys back and you guys have Elli now."

"Klaus, get up," Five hissed.

"You can't make me," he growled as Diego suddenly threw a knife at his private area.

"Oh, then again, a little exercise couldn't hurt. Yeah," Klaus hopped over the couch and left to get ready to go.

"Okay, you have to teach me how to do that," Elli chuckled as Diego went and collected his knife.

"It's not exactly what I was expecting," Diego spoke as they arrived at Harold Jenkins house to see him dead on the floor with multiple sharp objects lodged into his body.

"The understatement of the year," said Five.

"No sign of Vanya," Klaus said as he enetered the room with Elli trailing behind.

"Okay. That's digusting," Elli gagged and turned around.

"Let's get out of here, before the cops come," suggested Diego.

"In a minute," Five started to bend down towards the body, taking out his glass eye.

"Come on, Five, what are youโ€”" Diego asked as Five placed the glass eye in Harolds missing eyes spot.

"Ugh, wow," Klaus fakes hurls.

"So glad I didn't see that," Elli sighs.

"Same eye color, same pupil size. Guys this is it. The eye I've been carrying around for decades, it. . . It's found its rightful home," Five declares. "We got the guy we needed to kill to stop the apocalypse."

"Yay! Let's go," Klaus cheers and Elli claps silently. Klaus then turns to leave but Diego grabs his shirt, rounding him back towards him.

"No, no. Wait, wait. It can't be this easy," Five stopped. "Look, this is the note that I got from the Commission," Five began to unravell a note he got when he was at the Commission. The one that says, "Protect Harold Jenkins," aka Leonard Peabody."

"Yeah?" asked Diego.

"But who killed him? Who did this?"

"I have a crazy idea," Klaus blurted. "Crazy, but why don't we find Vanya. . . and ask her what happened?"

"If Vanya got away from this asshole, she might be headed back to the Academy," Diego spoke and Five agreed with him.

"We'll search for her there," Five grabbed the eye back out its socket and made his way out of the house with Elli, Klaus and Diego following behind.

Five sighs. "No sign of Vanya. She's not in any of the rooms."

"She's not downstairs, either," Klaus said as he made it back to the top of the stairs.

"Well, I'm out," Diego spoke.

"Me too," Elli shrugged about to leave but Five grabbed her arm and spun her back around.

"Wait. Wait. Wait," Klaus stopped.

"Where are you going?" Five asked the two. "Vanya's still out there, and so are Hazel and Cha-Cha."

"I know. I'm gonna get my things and then I'm outta here. I got some unfinished business with those fools," Diego sighs and went down the steps.

"And what about you?" Five looked towards Elli.

"I have my first birthday party today and I still haven't gotten him a gift nor have I gotten ready, so I've got things to do," Elli said.

"You're actually gonna go?" Five hissed.

"Yeah. You should too. He's around our. . . physical age," she smiled.

As Elli had now just finished getting dressed. She was wearing another one of Allison's outfits which was a black dress, with a white, knitted long sleeve under and some white combat books she found in Klaus' closet.

As she made her way downstairs to find Diego to take her to the store so she could by Kenny a present, she heard speaking from the living room and thought it was him.

"Oh. Shit. Sorry. Old habits." she heard a semi-familiar voice say. "Well, I can understand why you might feel that way, you know. . ."

"Well, you attacked our house, tried to kill my family, and kidnapped my brother and sisterโ€”"

"Aw. You think of me as your sister," Elli interrupted, walking in. Five and Hazel turned to her ask she gasped. "You kidnapped and tourted me!" she pointed to Hazel

"Sorry, kid. Well, there's not much I can do about the past. I'm not the only killer in this room. You got your own bloody history, pal," Hazel looked at Five who sipped his drink.

"Speaking of which, that job you did in Calhoun, that shit's legendary. Can't believe I'm actually sittin' here talkin' to you, after allโ€”"

"Hazel, why are you here?" Five interrupted as Elli went over to sit next to him.

"Well, I'm, you knowโ€”" Hazel got kicked to the floor by Diego.

"Diego, stop!" Five shouted.

"Get up!" Diego hissed as Hazel groaned. They both started to fight as Elli and Five gave very unammused looks.

"You know, before you kill him, you might wanna hear what he has to say," Five offered.

"I'm gonna kill you for what you did to Patch," Diego declared as they both started yelling again.

"Or don't," Elli shrugged as she moved her hands to grab Delores' drink.

"See how that goes," Five spoke as he saw Elli and slapped her hand, causing her to wince. "It's alcohol. Don't drink that."

"Are you gonnaโ€”" Hazel reached out towards the two who were now bickering and they started fighting again. Diego pulled out a knife and stabbed Hazel in the thigh causing the two young ones to wince.

"That's gotta hurt," Five played around with his drink as they kept fighting and Diego climbed onto Hazel and bit into his ear. As Hazel cried out in pain, Five spacial jumped onto the couch behind them and slammed a glass vase atop Diego's head.

"I draw the line at biting," Five declared as he slowly made his way back to his seat. "Hazel, whatever you came here to say, I suggest you make it quick, before he comes round," Five pointed to the now passed out Diego on the floor.

"I left my partner, quit the Commission, came to volunteer."

"For what?" Elli asked.

"To help stop the apocalypse."

"Hm," Five chuckled.

"What on earth could be so funny to you right now?"

"Before I answer that, why do you wanna help us?"

"Let's just say I have a vested interest in a doughnut shop," Hazel inquiered.

"Well, I hate to break it to you, pal, but you're a day late and a dollar short," Five sighs. "The fact that you're here right now means, without a shadow of a doubt, that the apocalypse is over."

"Were those words even real?" Elli looked towards Five who waved her off.

"Really? How do you know?" Hazel asked.

"The mark is dead. Found him this morning. You were the last known unknown left in the equation."

Hazel chuckled. "Shit. Really?"

"Mm-hmm. And if you're out, then Hellrider ain't riding."

"I'll leave you two to talk, but I'll be back," Elli annouced and made her way out wanting to go to the kitchen to grab an orange.

"What are you gonna get Kenny for his birthday?" Mace asked beside her.

"I don't really know," she turned the corner towards the kitchen and went towards the fruit bowl. "I mean, he kinda looks like the nerd type so maybe an action figure or something like a comic."

"Yeah, that's a good idea," Mace shrugged as she began to wash the fruit. "Listen, we need to talk."

"Okay, shoot," she allowed.

"It's about Reginalds death. I know something about it." Elli turned around and gave Mace a chuckle.

"Mace, joking that you know something about Reginalds death isn't that funny. I know you joke about things a lot, but right now isn't the time," she shook her head beginning to exit the room.

"Elli, I'm not joking. I know something," he began to talk again.

"What do you know?" Elli asked as she gave her friend a serious look.

"Well," he began as they walked up the stairs to where Five was and saw Diego was back on his feet again.

"Diego!" Elli called and went to him as Mace groaned in annoyance.

"He wanted a fresh start. And he happened to have in his possession the one thing that could do our family a little good," Five spoke as Elli walked up to him. "So it's time to move on."

"Not a chance," Diego denied.

"Suit yourself," Five sighs as he picked up Delores. "I am curious. Your girlfriend, Patch. What did you like about her?

"A lot of things. Cute butt. Nice legs," Diego spoke and Elli rolled her eyes.

"Really?" she asked and Diego shrugged.

"Anything a little more profound than that?" Five asked.

"She believed in people. No matter how much shit and filth she saw on the streets. She always saw the good inside."

"Well, I'm sure she'll be proud to know that you're killing Hazel and Cha-Cha as a way to honor her memory," Five sighs and takes an orange slice from Elli before making his exit.

"Diego, I need you to drive me to the store," Elli said.

"What? Why?"

"I need to get a present for my new friend Kenny. It's his birthday today and he invited me to his party. He's kinda a nerd so I'm gonna get him an action figure or a comic," she smiles as they make their way to the front area.

"Can't. Sorry. I have to go after the bastards that took away Patch's life." Elli gave an exaggerated groan at his response and made her way to the door.

"I'll go by myself," she announced.

"You don't even knowโ€”" the door closed. "how to get there," Diego sighed as he made his way up the stairs.

As Elli searched the isles of the toy store, Mace came up to her. "We need to talk. Now, Elliana."

Now that was a rare. Mace would say her full name when he was playing around or serious and by the looks of it, he was pretty serious.

"Alright. Talk," she proceeded to look for an action figure.

"I know Hargreeves killed himself," he spoke and Elli nodded.

"So did I, Mace. We found out at the same time."

Mace groaned. "No. I watched Hargreeves kill himself." Elli stopped what she was doing and turned towards him. "I was in the room that night. Which is why you couldn't find me. I heard the whole conversation Grace, Pogo and Reginald had and watched Reginald kill himself."

Elli took a minute to process all of the information. "And why didn't you tell me sooner? I could've helped so much?" she hissed and moved to another isle.

"I'm sorry, Elli. I tried to tell you earlier todayโ€”"

"I meant earlier this week, Mace. Maybe they would've included me if I knew more, but no. You decided to be selfish to not speak up," she said in the heat of the moment.

"Oh, really? Selfish? I'm selfish?" Mace pointed to himself as Elli turned around.

"Yeah. If you hadn't noticed, you're extremely self centered. And it's not even in a good way. You try to make everything about yourself. Maybe you even know something about my parents death since you know something about Reginalds," she smart mouthed.

"Elli, if I knew something about your parents death, I would've told you already. And don't tell me I make everything about myself becauseโ€”"

Elli chuckled. "Don't even try to defend yourself. You stand in front of my mirror for hours just talking  about myself. Being so perfect and everything. You think you're all that when you're not."

"Please. Says fhe one who's jealous of everyone," Mace scoffed as Elli picked up a Batman and Superman action figure that were in a pact together and made her way to the self checkout. "You have to look at everyone else's perfections just so you can feel good. You don't because guess what Elli? Guess what?"

They made their way out of the store and started to make their way to bowling alley. Wherever that was. "You're not perfect. Or pretty. Or anything that you look up to people for. You'll have those insecurities forever and you'll never be anything, Elliana. Anything!" Mace screamed in her face. "You'll! Be! Nothing!" he put a finger to her chest between every word.

Elli's mouth began to quiver and she looked at Mace. "I hate you. I hate being friends with you. I wish I never met you!" she turned her heal and began to walk the other way as Mace stood still on the side walk, realizing what he just did.

He lost the last person he had. He said the words that made her break. Mace had never made her cry before, but what he did. . . She for sure wasn't going to forgive him after that.

"Elli!" Mace called out but she didn't turn back. "Elli, I'm sorry," She kept going. "Elli, please," he spoke in a whisper as he watched her turn a corner leaving him alone.
