"YOU'RE BLEEDING STILL, EL," Mace looked down at Elli's pillow.

Elli stood up from her bed to see dried blood on her pillow. "Shut up."

Mace moved over towards her and looked on the top of her head to see an open wound. "Elli, you've still got an open one. You still need stitches and it needs to be disinfected. If not, you're gonna get bacteria in it andโ€”"

"Would you stop being my mom for one second, please?" Elli snapped. "I understand you're worried, I get that. But, let me at least get dressed before you go all out," she said as she made her way to her dresser. She looked at the uniforms she had and sighed aloud.

"What, hun?"

"I want something different. I mean," she closed her dresser doors. "I don't want to wear the uniform everyday anymore. Let's see what Allison has," she made her way out of her room with Mace tagging along beside her.

Once they made it to Allison's room, they looked through her draws. Since Mace was the one with a sense of style, Elli let him pick out the clothes for her. He looked through her pants draw and pulled out a pair of blue, wide bottom ripped jeans.

Mace threw them on the bed and went towards Allison's dresser and pulled out a black and white checkered flannel with a black shirt that had a random design on it.

"Okay," Mace threw the shirt into Elli's hands and motioned for her to take the pants. "I'll find you some shoes while you change." Elli nodded and exited the room.

Mace searched Allison's room and picked out black socks and a pair of black high top Chuck Taylor Converse for Elli to wear. Minutes past and Elli returned back to the room. Mace placed down the magazine he was reading and stood up to look at her.

"You look nice. This is definitely your style," Mace smiled as Elli gave one back. "Put these on," he threw Elli the shoes and socks. "then we can find Grace to clean your head." Elli sat down on Allison's bed and started to put on the socks.

"How are you able to touch things now? I mean, you weren't able to do it before," she spoke up. "How can we work on it?"

"Well, what if you just think really hard. Oh, I have an idea," Mace jumped up from the bed and went out the door. Elli finished tying her shoe and ran after him.

"Where are you going?" she watched as he ran down the big stairs.  After many twists and turns, they arrived in the kitchen. "What are we doing here?"

Mace sat down on the table. "I have a plan for me to be able to touch things, but I need your help to do it."

"Okay," Elli nodded. "What is it?"

"See the orange," Mace pointed to the orange that sat in the fruit bowl on the counter. "Bring it over here."

Elli gave a shrug before she grabbed the medium sized orange and brought it over to the table, setting it down before the boy. "What now?"

He exhaled. "I know this sounds nuts, but I need you to imagine me picking the orange up."

"Okay. I guess can do that," Elli sat in the chair in front of the Mace and the orange then closed her eyes, thinking of Mace picking up the produce. As she thought hard, she heard movement and opened her eyes to see Mace holding the orange in his hand.

"Woah. That's amazing!" As soon as he said that, the orange phased though his hands and fell to the table. Almost rolling off, but Elli caught it. "Let's try it again!" he cheered.

She nodded and placed the orange back in its original spot. She kept her eyes opened this time and thought of a few moments back, not as hard as before, to when Mace had held the orange the previous time. Elli watched as Mace slowly moved his hand down to the orange and picked it up again without fail.

She watched as he slowly started to peel the orange, watching as a small piece of skin fell to the table. Once the orange was now peeled, Mace grabbed one of the piece and placed it in his mouthโ€”chewing with delight. It had been years since he had ate oranges. Years since he ate period.

"You did it!" Elli cheered, clapping her hands with a big smile on her face.

"No, Elli," Mace said with a mouth full. "You did."

"Let's try again. Maybe with something else or something bigger," Elli moved away from the table and began to search through the fridge. Sadly, there wasn't much.

"Oh, no," Mace said abruptly as he wiped his hands on his pants. "You're finding Grace so she can stitch your head." Elli sighed out loudly, closing the fridge door. "You're not getting away that easy."

Elli hated needles. Terrified even. I mean, who isn't? (If you aren't, you're one of the lucky ones) When Grace was gonna give her her flu shot. Oh boy, she almost started bawling. Just anything with needles, including sharp objects, just anything like that she'd run and hide.

"I mean," she turned back to Mace. "I could get away quickly."

Mace gave an unsure look, slowly getting off the table. "Don't you dare." Elli slowly moved back and Mace mimicked her, but moving forward. "Don't even think about it."

Elli tilted her head to the side a bit. "Think about what?" she asked in a sweet voice as if she didn't know what she was about to do.

"You know what?" he stepped closer and she took a bigger step back. Her straight face slowly turned into a grin.

At the intensity of the moment, Elli took off running out of the kitchen. "Elliana Bennett, get back here right now!" Mace shouted as he ran after her.

"No!" she kept running. She squealed as she almost ran into a wall but then went full force again once she regained her balance.

"Grace! Grace!" Mace yelled as he chased after the dark brown curly headed girl.

"She can't hear you! You're dead! Don't forget about that!" Elli announced as she ran up the stairs.

"Oh yeah," Mace realized as he stopped to take a breather, then went back to running after her again.

He ran his fastest as she almost went to the grand stair case, but Mace appeared in front of her. "Going somewhere?" he crossed his arms.

"Forgot you could do that," she admitted as she regained her breath.

"Elli, it's just stitches. You'll survive," he moved closer.

"No, I won't. I'm scared of everything. Even ladybugs. You know this," she ran into the living room area and Mace followed her once more.

"Elliana, I'm being serious," he called to her as she ran to the opposite side of the couch that he was at. "Come over here so I can take you to Grace and she can stitch your head."

"No," she said once again, picking up a pillow from the couch and throwing it at him. Mace caught it surprisingly and threw it back at her.

"Elli," he began to crawl onto the couch and moved towards her. He grabbed her by the arms before she could run again.

"No, no, no!" she called out again as she maneuvered herself out of his arms and threw another pillow at him. He caught it once more and threw it at her. This time, it hit her in the face.

"Oh, shit. I'm sorry," Mace apologized as Elli grabbed the pillow and smacked him right in the face that he fell backwards onto the couch.

As Mace was about to get up, she threw the pillow back onto him which caused him to say down completely. "Ha ha," she faked laughed and gave a snooty face and began to really laugh as she turned around towards the bar but was faced with Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus and Ben.

Her face went dead straight as she gave a fake smile. "Hello, hehe," she gave a small wave to which only Klaus gave one back. "Just. . . having fun. With my uh. . . friend here," It was dead silent for a moment. "So, what's going on here?"

Luther snapped out of his thoughts. "Um, the apocalypse is happening in three days."

Elli gasped. "Oh yeah," she dragged out. "I remember. But then forgot. I mean, I kinda forgot a couple things since I was hit in the head a bunch of times."

Allison gave wide eyes. "You were what?"

"Oh, I was kidnapped along with Klaus and got hit in the head a lot. Also, I'm still mad at you guys for not caring that I was gone," she stuck out her tongue and received an eye roll from Five.

"Are you always such a child?" he asked giving her an attitude.

"Are you always such a dickhead?" Mace asked getting up from his spot. "Don't talk to her like that, you gray haired asshole," he rubbed his head as he turned to Elli and said, "You hit hard."

Elli gave a quick shrug. "Eh, I guess. And be nice you two," she looked at Five then Mace.

"Whatever," They both mumbled under their breathes as Mace laid back down on the couch.

"Elliana," Diego called. "We need your help with the apocalypse. The fate of the world is in our hands and we need as much help as we can getโ€”"

"Okay!" she gave a smile.

The siblings looked at each other with questionable looks. "That's it? You'll help, just like that?" Five crossed his arms as he stood against the couch.

"Yep," she nodded. "If we save the world, then I'll be able to go to my very first birthday party," she got hyped up. "It's for this kid named Kenny. I think he likes me," she whispered the last part.

"Do you like him?" Klaus asked as Diego, Luther and Five became more intrigued.

"Well, no. Why would I?" The four men gave sighs of relief. "He even tried to kiss me. I only knew him for, like, ten minutes," Elli rolled her eyes.

"Okay, back to the apocalypse," Allison turned serious. "Let's get this bastard."

"You had me at Gerald Jenkins," Diego moved forward.

"Harold Jenkins," corrected Five.

"Whatever. I've already lost two people this week, I'm not losing anyone else."

"And Luther?" Five looked towards the blond man.

"Yeah," he nodded. "you go. I'm gonna stay and go through Dad's files." Diego groaned in annoyance. "I still think this has something to do with why he sent me to the Moon."

"Seriously? Now you wanna make the end of the world about you and Dad?" Diego popped in.

"No. "Watch for threats." That's what he told me," Luther repeated what Reginald told him. "You think that's a coincidence? This all has to be connected somehow."

"No, we should all stick together. We don't have time for this," Five announced, fed up with his brothers arguing.

"Let's roll. I know where we can find this asshole. Klaus, you're with me," Diego motioned Klaus to follow.

"Yeah. I. . . I'm good. I think I'll, uh. . ." he patted Diego's chest as he made his exit. "I think I'll pass, I'm. . . feeling a little under the weather, so, uh. . ." he groaned as he left the room.

"Okay," Five called out. "get what you need and meet at the door in five," he walked off as Elli snorted.

"Ha. Five," she smiled at Luther and Allison who were still in the room. "You get it cause he's Five and he said to meet in. . ." It was awkward silence. "Never mind," she turned back towards Mace who was still laying on the couch.

Elli sighs as she walks over, moving to the front side of the couch, leaning down in front of the curly headed boy.

"Are you ready to save the world with me and my crazy siblings, Mace?"

"Eh. What other choice do I have?"

"No other choice."

"Then, sure. . . I guess. Yay."

Elli smiles as her friend gives an amused expression. She stood up and made her way to the huge doors to see Five and Allison waiting. She stood next to Five who leaned on one of the huge pillars and looked at the floor, crossing one leg over another.

"Are those my clothes?" Allison asked which caused Five to look at Elli's outfit and for Elli to shrink into herself.

"Yeah. I hope that's okay," Elli looked towards the girl who smiled.

"No, it's totally fine. You look really good." Elli smiled as they heard Diego coming down the stairs.

"Let's go guys," he threw a pair of keys in the air and catches them with a smooth movement. They all started to exit the house, closing the door behind them and stepped up to an old, black car.

As the three oldest started getting in, Elli didn't move from her spot near the gate. "Elli, come on let's go," Allison rushed.

"Um, can I just walk?" Elli asked as the three gave odd looks.

"Walk? The police station is miles from here," Five spoke.

"Well, cardio. Am I right?" she gave an awkward laugh as Allison stepped out the car and went up to her.

"What's wrong? We know for a fact you're not doing this for cardio? Do you have a fear of cars or something?"

Elli sighed. "I just. . . I can't. I don't want it to happen again."

"What?"

"I get flashbacks and everything and I can't ride in one," she brought her hands up and rubbed her own arms, shuddering.

"How bout this? If you feel uncomfortable, scared or anything during the ride, you can hold onto me if that makes you feel better," Allison copped up a deal and Elli nodded.

She opened the car door for Elli and allowed her to take her time and slide in. Allison then followed her and moved to the middle seat. As Diego started driving, the three noticed as she was biting her lip and clenching her hands into a ball that her palms might bleed.

She brought her knees to her chest and started to scoot away from the window as if something was going to come at her. She was shaking and was now holding onto Allison's arm, lightly squeezing her hand. As the car finally came to a stop, Elli's tightly closed eyes slowly came open and she lifted her head up from Allison's arm to see that they were finally at the police station.

"Oh, I think I'm gonna be sick," Elli rushed out of the car and yakked near the side of the tire. Allison rushed over to hold her hair as Diego and Five looked away in disgust.

"Okay, no more car rides for Elli, everyone," Diego announced the obvious as Allison glared at him. "What?" he gave an oblivious statement.

Elli spat out the rest of her contents and wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. She obviously wasn't going to get anything on her new outfit. "You okay?" Allison asked and received a groan from Elli who was now holding her head.

"Should've got Grace to stitch my head before we left," she admitted.

"Told you!" Mace shouted as he appeared in the backseat where her and Allison just were.

"Shut up," she mumbled as she stood up and walked over to the wall, leaning against it. "I'm good. I'm alright," she assured the elders. "You guys continue doing. . . whatever we're here for."

The eldest continued to talk in the car for a few minutes before Diego got out, walking into the alley that was to the left side of Elli. Allison got out of the car and eventually so did Five who walked over to stand next to Elli, leaning against the wall with her.

Allison moved to the phone booth and punched in some numbers and began speaking on the phone.

"What do you always make that face?" Elli suddenly asked Five who gave an eyebrow raise.

"What face?"

"You know, that. . . mad face," Elli tried to recreate it but ended up breaking out in a laugh. "It's like you have a. . . a um," she fumbled on the word, snapping her fingers as she couldn't think of it.

"Resting bitch face, baby. Or an RBF," Mace said beside her.

"Oh, right. An RBF," she smiled.

"I don't have a resting bitch face," Five said and Elli slapped his shoulder.

"Don't say that word."

"Hush you child. I'm older than you," he crossed his arms.

"Only by a year," she stuck out her tongue.

"Yes, only by a year. But, I'm more mature than you and act like an adult," he told her.

"Well, aren't you like. . . mentally one hundred years old or something?" she asked and Five gave her a weird expression.

"A hundred years old? Really? If I was one hundred, I still would look this," he smirked.

"No, you wouldn't. You'd have wrinkles and someone would have to chop up your carrots and blend your apples just for you to receive food," she chuckled.

"Oh, please. I look good at any age," he gave a proud expression.

"Okay. You hold onto that," Elli rolled her eyes and nudged his arm as he tried to hide a smile.

Allison finally finished on the phone and walked up to the two, physical appearance, children. "If Diego doesn't hurry up, I'm gonna hurt him."

"Don't say that. You might need him one day and you wouldn't even know that," Elli corrected.

"He's taking forever. At this rate, Jenkins could be anywhere. We need to head to his location and fast." Elli gave a worried expression.

"Does that mean we have to ride in the car? Again?"

Allison crossed her arms. "Why are you so scared of cars? Or, in your case, riding in them?"

"Well," Elli started to explain. "when I was five, my parents and I were going to see my grandmother who was in the hospital. She wasn't doing really well and was on a ventilator. It could've been the last time my dad even saw his mom."

"So, I'm guessing your family left to see her?" Five presumed and Elli nodded.

"The roads were icy and it was snowing so my dad had to be extra careful. While taking an exit, our tires were poppedโ€”started spinning out of control. I got so nervous that I turned invisible. As the spinning stopped, my parents looked back to see if I was alright, but my attention was grabbed by the two blinding headlights of a semi truck coming towards us."

As Elli played with her fingers as she shared her story, Allison looked down. This happened to her at a young age, no wonder it followed her to now.

"It hit the car and we rolling down a big hill into the woods. My parents were fine, thankfully. Just scratches and bruises, but those can heal," Elli reached up and touched her faint mark on her forehead.

"What happened after?" Five became more intrigued. As Elli was about to start, Diego came back around the corner. "So?" Five asked the boy with multiple knives.

"You're welcome," he pulled the file out from under his jacket only for Allison to quickly pluck it from his hand.

She flipped through a couple of pages before landing on a photo of the man. "Holy shit," she exclaimed.

"What?" The three asked in question.

"Harold Jenkins is Leonard Peabody," she showed the photo to the three.

"So. . . are we just supposed to know who that is?" Elli asked she took the mans photo from the file. "He's kinda frumpy, don't you think? He looks like he sniffs cats and knit sweaters a grandmother would make." The adults gave her weird looks. "What?" she gave the photo back to Allison.

"There's an address in here. We can go there," Allison closed the file and everyone began to go back into the car. Elli got in and slowly braced herself, but Allison took her hand. "If you feel scared again, just squeeze my hand. Nothing's going to happen."

Elli nodded and she began to squeeze Allison's hand and the car started to move slowly and accelerated at a calm pace. Diego was to not alarm her.

"You never got to finish the story with parents, Elli," Five made clear as he turned around towards her.

"Oh, well there isn't much to finish," she gave a quick smile and looked down at the seat, tracing the imprints and designs.

"Did something happen to them?" he pressed once again.

"Five, let it go. If she doesn't want to talk about it, let her not talk about it," Allison made certain as Diego turned a corner.

"I know, but still. Maybe it'll help if she talks about it more," Five shrugged. Allison looked down towards the girl who shook her head.

"She'll tell us when she's ready," she looked down towards the girl who was shaking, holding a death grip on her and Elli nodded.
