ELLIANA WOKE UP TO THE SOUND OF WATER NEXT TO HER. She didn't know where she was, how she got there or why there was a cold sensation on her forehead. She felt someone take a cloth off her forehead and start to dab the cloth around her chin, possibly taking off the blood.
As the cloth left her chin, she started to open her eyes. She started to blink slowly and her eyes adjusted to the now morning light. She lifted herself up and looked to the right to see a boy with dark brown hair, white skin and big glasses that took up most of his face. Elli gave a shocked look as she started to back away from him until her back hit the wall behind her.
"Hey, it's okay," The boy said. "I'm not trying to hurt you."
"Who're you?" Elli looked around her setting to see she was in what was probably his room. "Why am I here? How did I even get here?"
The boy put a hand out towards her to try and get her to stop rambling. "Calm down and breath. You're okay," he spoke calmly. "My mom found you on her way home and brought you here. You were laying outside and looked injured. She's a nurse, so she helps people and didn't want to just leave you there."
Elli nodded. "Oh, well thanks for that," she scooted back towards him and away from the wall. "Where am I though?"
"Oh, you're in my room," he clarified.
Elli scoffs. "I know that. I meant like. . . what part of New York am I in?"
"Ohh, you're in Brooklyn. Didn't you know?" he asked with a confused face.
Brooklyn. Maybe she could visit them before asking the boy to bring her home.
"Okay," she sighed. "I know this gonna sound crazy, but I need you to take me somewhere. I need to see someone. Or someones," she corrected herself.
"Oh, well, sure," he shrugged. "I just have to shower first. And, I can't drive so we're going to have to walk. Is that fine?" Elli nodded as she hated cars anyway. It gave her flashbacks.
"Yeah, that's fine." The boy nodded and left the room. "Wait, I never caught your name."
The boy poked his head around looked towards her and smiled. "The name's Kenny. And yours is. . ." he paused waiting for Elli to answer.
"Elliana," she gave a small smile, but didn't give her nickname because she wasn't really that comfortable with him yet nor knows him.
"Elliana," Kenny repeated and nodded. "Nice meeting you, Elliana," he blushed.
"You too, Kenny," Elli spoke as he turned down the hall.
"That was. . . something," Mace said as he appeared next to his friend. "How you feelin'?" he motioned to her head.
Elli shrugged. "Eh. Head still hurts, but not that much. I'm gonna see if he can take me to my parents. Since I haven't visited them in a while."
"That's cool. You haven't been in years. I bet you owe them more then just one visit," Mace smiled as he held a hand out to his friend. Elli smiled and slowly placed a hand onto his, hoping it wouldn't phase through and it didn't. They both smiled happily and Elli leaned forward and gave Mace a hug as he did the same with her.
Mace pushed back and took her face into the palms of his hands and brushed his thumb across the bruise that had formed overnight on her forehead. "Oh, hun, I feel like I failed in protecting you last night."
Elli shook her head. "It's not your fault."
Mace sighed and placed a kiss on her bruised forehead and brought her back into a hug. "Hey, hun," he lifted her off his chest. "since I can touch you, why don't I do your hair? The same style your mom did for you? It'll lift the mood." Elli nodded as she moved to the floor and Mace sat behind her.
She felt his cold hands move to the front side of her hair and pick up three strands and started to braid her hair. He made two small braids that connected in the back, leaving the rest of her hair out. Once he finished, he patted her shoulder for her to turn around for him to see.
"Looks amazing, hun," Mace smiled as Elli stood up and moved to the mirror Kenny had in his room.
As she looked at her reflection, she saw the bruise on her chin along with the small bit of dried blood on her forehead. She reached her hand up to move a small bit of hair that has stuck to her forehead and noticed a faded mark.
It was from the crash all those years ago. As the car flipped multiple times, the window to her right busted open and glass went flying towards her.
"You ready to go?" Kenny walked into the room with his hair lightly damp. He had a towel around his shoulders and was now dress in a gray short sleeved shirt with dark blue jeans. He looked. . . cute as Elliana thought. As he saw Elli not respond he called her name again which caused her to regain her conscious.
"Yeah. Yeah, I'm good to go," she nodded. Mace saw that she tried to keep herself from smiling. Kenny nodded and came into the room and headed towards his closet.
"So," he pulled out a pair of shoes. "where do you need to go?"
Elli turned towards him. "Um, The Green-Wood Cemetery," Elli looked down and fiddled with her hands.
"Oh. Who do you have to visit if you don't mind me asking?"
"My parents," she said in a bare whisper as she sat back down on Kenny's bed.
"Hey, don't be sad," he sat next to her. "These things happen to everyone and it's very nice that you're going to visit them. They would be happy."
Elli smiled and looked towards him. "Thanks."
Kenny slowly brought up his hand and tucked a strand of hair behind her left ear. Elli watched closely at what he did. "Love the hair style. It's pretty," he blushed madly as he began a to slowly lean forward.
Elli backed up slightly and began to stand up. "Let's get going, okay?" she moved over to his desk chair and grabbed her blazer, moving out of the room quickly.
"Okay, what the hell was that?" Mace asked as he ran after her.
"I felt so uncomfortable," she rubbed her forehead gently then heard footsteps coming towards her.
"Come on," Kenny moved towards his front door as he pulled a jacket over his shoulders. "After you," he spoke after opening the door. Elli flashed a quick, awkward smile and moved passed him and out the door.

"You can just. . . wait here. I guess," Elli spoke to Kenny as they were now at the cemetery.
"Yeah, that's fine," he nodded and sat down on the bench.
It didn't take long for them to get to the cemetery, only about a ten minute walk. But, the most embarrassing thing about it was that it was really quiet. Kenny knew how to get there because he passed it on his way to school, but when he tried to start conversations, they were shut down real quick.
Elli wanted to roll herself into a ball and just blow away into the wind. Kenny did end up apologizing for what happened back at his place and got forgiven for it, but it was still awkward.
As Elli walked the same path she did times before, she walked up to a three tombstones that were placed next to each other. She held three small bouquets of different flowers in her hands, props to Kenny for giving her money for it.
She placed the bouquet of sunflowers in front of her moms grave, the white aster flowers in front of her grandmothers, then the pink petunias in front of her fathers.
"Hey, mommy," she sat down and removed the dead weeds, flowers and leafs away from the tombstone. "Sorry I haven't visited you in a while. That's my doing," she sighed and moved to her fathers grave, moving the same things.
"I've missed you both. You too, gran. I miss your sweet kisses and your hugs moms. Also your bedtime stories, dad," she smiled as she placed a hand on her fathers tombstone, outlining his name with her fingers.

She sniffled. "I wish you guys were here. I miss you so much," she wiped tears from her cheeks. She moved towards her moms tombstone and wiped off some dirt that was on her name so it could be read clearly.

Elli placed a kiss on her hand then placed it on her mom and dads tombstone before moving to her grandmothers. Moving her sleeve up, she brushed off dust and dirt that resided on her name.

Elliana read over the name then placed a kiss on her hand an placed it onto the engravings. She stood with a sigh then placed her hands in her blazer pocket and turned around to see Mace standing against a tree.
He leaned off it and moved towards her. "You okay?" she nodded. "They're proud. I know it."
"I just wanna know who killed my parents. Because, whoever it was, I'm going to kill them and make them pay for what they've done."
"That's the spirit," Mace smiled and placed an arm on her shoulder. It phased through at first so he tried again. That time it worked.
Elli moved forward and wrapped her arms around him as she began to cry silently. Mace rubbed her back as her tears seeped through his clothing. She pulled back and wiped below her nose.
"I got snot on your clothes," she chuckled and Mace gave a weird look. "Sorry."
"Eh, had worse. Now, let's get back to Kenny boy before he thinks you're probably dead," he skipped ahead of her leaving her behind.

As they neared the academy, Kenny brought Elliana to the gate. "You sure you wanna be dropped off here?" he asked her.
"Yeah, I'm sure. Thanks for bringing me," Elli smiled as she went in for a hug which shocked Kenny for a little but then he melted into it.
As Elli went to move out, Kenny held a grip on her. "Okay, Kenny. That's enough," she pushed herself with more force and he gave an awkward look.
"Sorry," he looked down. She gave a quick tight lipped smile then moved past the gate and to the huge doors. "Wait," Kenny stopped her.
"Yes," she turned around.
"I'm having a birthday party in four days. It's at the Super Star Bowling Arena. Do you think you can come? It's from seven thirty to eight thirty and there will be pizza," he offered.
Elli hummed. "Well, I've never been bowling before and I do quite like pizza. So, sure. I'm not doing anything."
Kenny gave a huge smile. "Okay. I'll see you there. Bye, Elliana," he waved as he made his way down the sidewalk.
"Bye, Kenny. And you can call me Elli for future references."
Kenny turned back around and said, "Alright. See ya around, Elli."
She nodded then opened the door to the mansion and walked in to see the chandelier still broken on the floor. She headed upstairs to the main rooms to see if Klaus perhaps had gotten back safely and walked past Five's room to see writing with chalk on his walls.
Elli stepped in to see his window open and Delores on his bed. "Well, hello there, Delores," she sat down next to her. "I haven't seen you in quite sometime."
"Ms. Elliana, where have you been?" she heard Pogo ask from the door.
"Pogo. Oh, how I've missed you," she got up from her spot and gave him a hug. "You have no idea what I've been through this past day. When those two people attacked the house, they took me and Klaus hostage, torturing us hour by hour," she started to ramble.
"They hit me over the head with a big metal bar and then I passed out. My head was bleeding and everything. At the end of it, I watched a police officer die and I got dumped on the side of the road bleeding out." Pogo gave a concerned look at the rambling girl.
"Elliana—"
"I met a nice boy named Kenny who I think likes me, then I went to see my parents and grandmother and left them flowers. This day has just been a lot I tell you. A lot."
"Where is everyone?" Elli made her way into the hallway. "They must've been worried, am I right?" she asked Pogo who didn't answer but looked down. "Pogo, what aren't you telling me?"
He sighed. "Ms. Elliana, your siblings. . . didn't notice your absence at the very least. I'm very sorry, but I noticed once you didn't come for breakfast this morning."
"So, where are they?"
"Somewhere out the house, I'm sure." Elli nodded.
They really didn't care for her. Not even Klaus who told her that it was all gonna get better. She trusted them and thought they were gonna be her new family, but perhaps she was moving too fast. She was giving them trust and faith at the touch of a hand though they didn't earn it. She just gave it to them.
"I'm gonna take a nap," she turned around heading the way towards her room. "Thanks Pogo for remembering me."
Pogo watched as Elli walked to her room. "You're welcome, Ms. Elliana."
Elliana, now in her room, shrugged off her blazer and placed it on her night stand. She began to get fully undressed, putting the bloody clothes on her bed as she changed into night clothes. She put on her top and bottoms then took the hair style out of her hair.
She felt something creep down her next and put two fingers towards it and saw that it was blood. She grabbed her dirty clothes and headed out of her room. It was now around nighttime so the house was fairly quiet. She stopped at the laundry room first and placed her clothes in the dirty pile then headed to the medical room.
She grabbed a disinfectant solution and a cotton ball then started to dry up the blood.
"It's gonna need stitches, babe," Mace called out as he looked on the top of her head. "Ask Grace." she nodded then set out to Graces resting spot to try and find her.
"How are you feeling?" Pogo asked Grace as he had just fixed her. She whirred for a bit before colliding her fingers together in a soft fist and then blinked.
"Fine," she responded.
"Do you remember what happened?" Pogo asked her.
"I do."
"And do you understand that the children can never know?"
Grace took a minute to respond. "I understand."
Elli stood on the opposite side of the wall away from them so they couldn't see her at all. What were they talking about? And why can't the rest of them know?
"Good," Pogo nodded.
