Ms. Ahn was sitting in one of the rooms that no one was usually visiting. She had her knees up to the chest, sobbing loudly.
How strange, crying after someone who abused you for a long time in your life. But one person understood ms. Ahn.
Soojin walked to the room, with her heart beating fast as she was nervous. She was looking for the woman for a few minutes, finally finding her in this room. She wasn't sure if she was doing right, but she thought that she can need that.
When ms. Ahn noticed the girl, she tried to calm herself down, but it was hard. And the girl didn't expect this from her. She sat on the floor next to the woman, and took out a pack of cigarettes. She picked out one, and gave it to ms. Ahn. Soojin lighted up the end of the cigarette. Ms. Ahn took a deep breath, and exhaled the thick smoke.
"Thank you, sweetheart," murmured the woman, after calming a bit
Her face was shining from tears. Soojin nodded her head, with a sad, soft smile. Ms. Ahn rubbed the face.
"I understand what are you feeling, ma'am. I think I do," said quietly the girl, a bit unsure, "My father was always abusive towards me and my mother. But even that, I feel bad for leaving him in the open apartment, because at the moment, I didn't care what will happen to him"
Ms. Ahn exhale the smoke, "Do you think he is still alive?" she asked
Soojin pursed her lips, and after a few seconds of silence, she said: "No. I had to kill him. He turned. Like your husband"
Ms. Ahn turned her head to her, a little surprised. She put her hand on girl's, and squeeze it.
"Oh sweetheart, I'm so sorry"
Soojin smiled sadly, and continued, "What I'm trying to say is that there's nothing wrong with decisions you made ma'am. You get attached, and you are too scared to leave this person. And people always think that it's so easy, when it's not. And there's nothing wrong with crying after them"
Soojin squeezed back ms. Ahn's hand. She had no idea if what she says can make her feel any better, but she couldn't let her be with this alone.
"He said it for the first time in 30 years," said an older woman, "I am sorry. He said that after 30 years. Why he couldn't do that earlier?"
The woman started sobbing again. Soojin wrapped arms around her body, hugging her. Ms. Ahn did the same, crying in the girl's arm.
Tears came in Soojin's eyes. She was thinking about her father. She wondered if he ever thought about changing. When he was sober, if he was thinking that what is he doing was wrong. And if he ever loved her.

After sitting with ms. Ahn for a while, Soojin felt a need to check on Hyunsoo. She should go after him right in the second when he left the lobby after seeing mr. Kim dead on the floor, but she didn't do that.
She took the key of the room where he was isolated. She opened them, and walked inside. It was dead silence. The only person inside was of course Hyunsoo, who was leaning on the big column, placed in the middle of the room. When Soojin walked closer to him, she noticed that he was sleeping. The fringe was covering his eyes a bit, and his mouth was moving slightly, even tho he didn't make any sound. The girl sat next to him, crossing her legs. The hair on his face started annoying the girl, so she brushed them on the side, trying not to wake the boy. He probably was very tired after another mission. She decided to wait patiently for him to woke up.
Soojin took out her phone. She couldn't do much on it, but she's not gonna stare at Hyunsoo all the time until he wakes up, she's not gonna be a creep.
But after a few minutes the silence was broken, by the boy. He didn't wake up, but he was mumbling some words. Soojin put down the phone, turning to him surprised. Hyunsoo had a slight grimace on his face. He started breathing heavily, still mumbling the words. The girl grabbed his arm worried. She wasn't sure what to do. Should she wake him up? It looked like he was having some serious nightmare. She shook him by the arm a little, but it didn't do anything. The boy was still sleeping, but acting strange. Soojin put a hand on his cheek to check if he was cold, like when he passed out for the first time. But his skin was warm. And also surprisingly smooth.
Finally, Hyunsoo opened his eyes rapidly, panting, making the girl flinch a little. She took off the hand of his arm.
"What's wrong? Are you okay?" she tilted her head to look at his face
His eyes were wide open, when he looked at Soojin. She was biting her lip nervously. The boy had tears in his eyes.
"Hyunsoo, what's wrong?"
"It's talking to me," he whispered, putting his head down.
Soojin made a confused face, "Who's talking to you, Hyun?"
"I keep hearing voices in my head, they talk to me. I... I can't stand it..." the boy started to stutter, but he was speaking very fast, "My... my head hurts all the time, and it talks to me those... awful things. And I... I don't know if...if I can fight it anymore. Everyone thinks that... that I stop this without any problem. But it's hard. I just... I just want to be normal again, I'm tired..."
Hyunsoo looked again at Soojin whose heart broke, hearing this. The one tear rolled down his cheek, but he quickly wiped it. He noticed that he scared her a little at first, but Soojin didn't move away from him.
Instead, she put her arms around the boy, putting one hand on his back, and another one on his head. She started petting him, as Hyunsoo put his face in her neck. He started sobbing in her body, while his whole body was trembling.
"Hyunsoo," she whispered. Her voice was quiet and very calm, as she was trying to stay like this, "You are normal. You are as normal as me or anyone else. You are the bravest person I know," the boy started sobbing even harder, "We're gonna go through this, I promise you. Whatever happens, I'll stay by your side. I'll stay till death do us part. Even when you're gonna be tired of me, I'll never leave you alone with your problems. Please, try not to give up"
Soojin stroked his hair once again. The boy chuckled a little, breathing deeply.
He continued crying in girl's arms, while she was trying not to cry herself, but it was hard. Seeing Hyunsoo like this was hard. He didn't deserve any of this pain he is put to go through, and there's a lot of this. They held each other in arms for a long time.
Hearing Soojin's voice, hugging her body, smelling her scent and feeling her touch on his head, make Hyunsoo calm down. He was focusing on the girl, trying to forget about the vision he had earlier.
After a long time, he moved away his head, but she didn't let him go. She put her forehead closer to his, sticking them together.
"Just promise me that you won't leave me, can you do that?" she whispered, "Because I don't know what I'm supposed to do then. We are the team, Hyunsoo"
"I promise," said the boy. He was feeling Soojin's breath on his chin
They were extremely close to each other. Their heart were beating fast, both very nervous. Hyunsoo grabbed Soojin's hand. He put down her fingers, beside the pinky one. He then, held her by his. The girl smiled.
"Pinky promise," he said, "Now none of us can't break the promise"
"I'm fine with that," she said, "But you're probably gonna lose, moron"
Hyunsoo smiled a little, "Yeah, you wish"
They moved their heads a bit to back. Now they could see each other's faces.
Hyunsoo's eyes were a bit swollen from crying, but Soojin thought that it doesn't make him look anyhow worse. The feature that always reminded her of the boy, was a scar that he had on his cheek, under the eye. It wasn't so big, but it was noticeable.
And Hyunsoo thought that this girl can't look bad. Even after fighting a bunch of monsters, having her face in scratches and blood, dirt from flames, or signs of violence from her father, she always looked perfect.
Hyunsoo tucked a hair from her face behind the ear. Soojin stopped breathing, realizing how close they are, how close they were all this time, and how it didn't bother her anyhow. Her heart was beating extremely fast.
And Hyunsoo felt the same. He would never think that someone would appear in his life, making him change a perspective for everything. Since years, he wanted to kill himself. But now, he had no reason to do that. He had reason to stay alive, and this reason was Soojin. They needed each other. She made him realise that he is not alone anymore. That no matter in which creature he would turn, she's not gonna hate him for that.
If love is this feeling, then yes, they were in love.
"Hyunsoo...."
The boy moved his face closer to the girl, giving her almost a heart attack. But she didn't move back.
Hyunsoo put his lips on hers, starting kissing them gently. The girl didn't wait any second to kiss him back. They both felt butterflies, flying in their stomach. Their lips were dry, but it didn't matter. Soojin was so excited, feeling how her head was spinning. She had no idea, if she was doing this like she should, she never kissed anybody earlier. And Hyunsoo thought the same exact thing. Soojin gently put her hands on boy's cheek, and her touch gave him goosebumps on the spine.
After a few seconds, that felt for them like a beautiful eternity, their lips stopped moving. Their warm breaths mixed, as they slowly moved their head away, but still holding them close. The teenagers looked in each other's eyes, as they both smiled. Their cheeks were all red. The girl chuckled quietly, feeling her heart explode.
Their hands met, interlacing fingers.

Hey guys!
For the first time I am writing a note under this book, because something important happened, as we can see.
I'm gonna be honest with you, I'm scared that it's happening too fast, or it's too much "fluff", something like that, I don't know😭 And I am not even sure if I can write things like that well, so yeah.... Also, I don't want to accidentally ruin their relation, because a lot of people doesn't like the couple, after they actually become couple.
But beside that, I hope you all liked this chapter, and thank you all for your comments, because I love to read them <3
