Eunhyuk opened door of the room where was isolated Hyunsoo. The boy sighed as soon as he heard them opening, and got up from the boxes he was sitting on. Without a word, or even looking at the boy with glasses, he took from him a piece of folded paper and his spear, and left the room. He put the list in his pocket, don't even reading it. Eunhyuk adjusted his glasses, staring at the boy leaving the corridor, going in the direction of the staircase. When he finally took on the sides all the boxes and cabinets, that were blocking the door, he opened them. Hyunsoo's eyes widened, surprised when she saw a girl inside. He didn't expect to meet there Soojin.

"Hi," she said quietly

She was leaning on the wall, with her hands crossed, her machete was also leaning on the wall. Her hair were pined up in the ponytail.

"Hey," said a little surprised Hyunsoo, "What are you doing here?"

Soojin bounced from the wall, taking her machete on the arm.

"I'm going with you," the boy opened his mouth to say something, but the girl put her finger up, telling him to be quiet, "Don't argue with me, because I'm gonna do that anyway, I already made this decision"

"You shouldn't," murmured Hyunsoo, "There's a reason why I do that, and not you or anyone else. I don't want to you to take unnecessary risk"

"As I said, the decision was already made," Soojin rolled her eyes, "I'm not gonna sit here on my ass, worrying about you, if I can keep you company"

"Why?"

"Why what?" she repeated confused

"Why do you worry so much all the time?"

The girl scoffed, avoiding eye contact with the boy, "Stop asking stupid questions, Hyun"

She walked pass him, almost hitting him with her arm.
The boy stood behind her, surprised that she shorted his name. No one did that in a long time. His family used to talk to him like that. And it always annoyed him.
But now he wasn't angry about that. In Soojin's lips, his name sounded soft, even if she was angry, and in some way it made his heart melt.

The girl didn't even seem to notice his face or either the fact, that she called him like that. Because for her, it wasn't a big deal.

"Are you coming or not?" she asked, twisting head to him

Hyunsoo was woken from his thoughts. He nodded his head, and rushed to the girl.

They were climbing on the stairs, without talking. It surprised the boy, because he got used to Soojin, who always have something to say. And now she was quiet. He didn't know if it was something he did, because he couldn't think of anything what he could do wrong. And besides, if she would be angry at him, she wouldn't want to go with him, risking her life.

"Soojin, are you okay?"

The boy didn't plan on talking, it just came out from his mouth. The girl stopped walking, and turned around to him. She looked confused.

"Yeah, why?"

Hyunsoo scratched his neck nervously, "You're just very quiet today, and I..."

"Oh no, it's okay," she said, and smiled slightly, "I'm just annoyed by some things, don't worry"

She turned back, and wanted to walk away, but Hyunsoo grabbed her wrist. Soojin looked at him surprised, and the boy took his hand away, blushing a little.

"What exactly are you annoyed about?" he asked

He probably won't be able to help her, but he wanted the girl to blurt, so maybe she could feel better after that.

"Hyunsoo, it doesn't matter now..."

"Come on, you can tell me," said the boy quietly

Soojin sighed, "It's you"

Hyunsoo straightened surprised. He looked around, his cheeks and ears reddened. Was he really annoying her? What did he exactly do or said, he was very confused.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know that I'm...."

Soojin's eyes widened, "No! Shit. That's not what I meant, gosh, I'm an idiot," she patted herself on the forehead, "I meant your situation. The things you have to go through, and I can't do anything about that. Eunhyuk annoys me, he never listens to me, and treat you like some kind of weapon. I didn't mean you as you, sorry"

Hyunsoo felt relived, but also weird, that Soojin is in such mood, somehow because of him. He wanted to make her feel better, but there wasn't much he could do.

"Anyway, what do we have on the list first?" asked Soojin, wanting to change the subject

Hyunsoo took out the piece of paper from the pocket, and unfolded it.

"I think we should head to mr. Han apartment, because he asked for a few things"

"Yes, and it's for sure important, he wouldn't ask if it wasn't," Soojin nodded her head

"Yeah, some batteries and things like that," murmured Hyunsoo

So, as they said, they went on the 14th floor. Soojin felt weird, being there. It was so close to her apartment. They passed Hyunsoo's room, and stood in front room 1408. The girl looked at the direction of her home. The doors were wide open, and on the floor there was a weird trail. She couldn't tell if it was blood or something else. The girl clenched her teeth, but walked to mr. Han's apartment, where already was Hyunsoo, not wanting him to notice the weird thing.

Inside was dark. The boy tried to turn on the light, but it wasn't working, so from his backpack he took out the flashlight. The girl walked closer to him, because she didn't think about bringing one. Hyunsoo started picking the things from the list, when girl's attention got closed doors of bathroom. She slowly walked there, and put her hand on the handle. She hesitated for a while.
But she opened them. The big womb was still there. Soojin stood in front of this thing, looking at the baby inside. It was strange, but at the same time it was amazing. There was hearable a melody, like a mother singing quietly to her child. Is it even right to say that ms. Im turned into monster? That's not a monster people would think of. She was harmless. A few days already passed, and nothing  happened to her. She didn't hurt anyone. She just found her peace.

Soojin felt Hyunsoo's presence behind her. She turned around.

"We have everything from here," he said, looking at the girl, "We can go"

Soojin nodded her head. The teenagers left the apartment.

They were walking back to the staircase. Or that what Hyunsoo thought. He noticed that the girl isn't walking with him after a few seconds. He looked around, only to notice Soojin standing in front of apartment 1406. The boy noticed a big trade. He walked to her, a bit unsure.

Soojin had no idea what she wants to do. She had a feeling that she should walk inside, and check what happened there, but she was scared. Scared of what she's gonna see in there. Hyunsoo stood behind her, patiently waiting for her next move.
The girl took a deep breath and stepped inside. She was taking small steps, trying not to make any sound. Hyunsoo followed her, holding his spear, ready for possible danger.

Soojin gasped, and put a hand on her mouth, trying not to make any sound. Hyunsoo's mouth dropped. The monster was sitting on the wall of the living room.

It looked like a gigantic moth. Soojin took a step back, and Hyunsoo grabbed her wrist, when the monster turned the head to them. His mouth was all covered in blood, and when he opened it, they could see the rows of sharp teeth. The loud squeak, make teenagers grimace, as they wanted to cover their ears. The monster stretched the big wings, and he tried to fly to the teenagers, but the room was too small. The things from shelves, or table started falling down making a lot of noise, while the moth tried to make a move forward.
Hyunsoo wanted to pull the girl to the exit, but she didn't move. Soojin took away her hand from his grip, and make a step forward.

"What are you doing, are you crazy?" Hyunsoo's eyes widened as she saw the girl lifting her machete

"Stay away, Hyunsoo," she said through clenched teeth, "I have to do that"

Soojin rushed to the big moth, that growled at her. The girl started slashing the wings, trying to avoid getting hit by one of them.

While doing that, she remembered every hit, every kick, every bruise or broken bones that she had to experience, because of her father. She screamed, feeling all her inside anger exploding. Every scar that she had on her body, were because of him. He never tried to change. He never understood how he made her life miserable.

Soojin was getting tired, and the monster was still alive. Hyunsoo tried to help her, feeling sick in his stomach, but she pushed him away. The girl breathe heavily, leaning on the knees, but quickly straightened up, when the monster squeaked again. It moved forward, knocking over the small table.
Soojin yelled, and stabbed the moth in the middle of big body. Her machete started electrocuting it, making the monster twirling and squeaking loudly. The girl pushed her weapon deeper, feeling her hands shaking. After a dozen seconds of doing that, she didn't have any more strength to fight, letting go the monster. It dropped on the ground, still trembling. Soojin lifted her machete above her head, holding in by two hands, and thrust it on monster's neck, almost chopping off the head.

She took a step back, dropping her weapon on the ground. She was breathing heavily, her whole body was shaking. Soojin rubbed her face, as she felt the pain, like an itch in her eyes, that she always felt before crying. She really tried no to. She shouldn't cry, so why was she about to?

Hyunsoo was standing behind her, watching the whole situation frozen. He was shocked about what the hell happened. This girl was amazing. She fought another monster, alone. The boy slowly walked to her.

Soojin turned around to him, and he saw one tear strolling down her cheek.

"I killed him..." she whispered, "I killed my father"

Her lips were trembling, as she grimaced. Hyunsoo stretched his arms, and hugged the girl, a little unsure and awkwardly. Soojin started sobbing, but her voice was muffled, as she put her face in the boy's chest. Hyunsoo wrapped his hand on her back, holding her tightly.

"It was not your father anymore," said the boy and the girl sobbed, "It's okay Soo. It's okay"

Soojin was taking deep breaths, trying to calm herself. Standing in the boy's arm, made her feel much better than as she would be alone. Hyunsoo was waiting patiently for her to calm, even if it would take hours. But it didn't, after almost two minutes, tears stopped coming from her eyes.
Soojin exhaled loudly, and slowly let go the boy. His cheeks were blushed, but from his look on the face, the girl saw that he was worried.

"I'm sorry," she murmured, "I shouldn't cry, he... he was a real asshole. I'm sorry"

She couldn't explain why she cried. She hated her father with her whole heart, through her whole life. But still, it was her parent. A child should never kill their parent. She felt guilty.

"It's okay," said quietly Hyunsoo, and Soojin took a deep breath, "Take your time, we have plenty of it,"

The moth that was still laying on the floor, moved the legs. It was laying on the back, so it tried to stood up. Boy's eyes widened.

"Or maybe we need to hurry"

Soojin looked at the monster, and nodded her head, picking the machete from the floor. Hyunsoo took her wrist, and pulled to exit. He slammed the doors behind them, when the monster growled angry. Soojin looked at them with an empty gaze.

"Are you alright?" asked her Hyunsoo, knowing the fact that she is not alright

"Yeah, I just... I'm sorry," she murmured, putting the machete in other hand

"Stop apologizing, you have no reason to"

"I shouldn't go here," the girl ran through her hair with fingers, with the hand that wasn't in the boy's grip

"Do you want to come back on the first floor?" Hyunsoo took a step forward, "I can escort you, and then take care of next things from the list"

Soojin looked down, smiled slightly for a second, and shook her head, "No, we can go together. Then I will have other things on my mind. I'll try not to put us in danger again"

"Don't worry, if that happens, we gonna be alright anyway," Hyunsoo smiled to her

The girl nodded her head. The teenagers quickly left the 14th floor, having to get to apartment 1623.

Hyunsoo was still holding Soojin's wrist, and didn't plan on letting it go.
