Soojin was on her way to the room where was isolated Hyunsoo. Earlier she stole the key to the room from Eunhyuk, without him knowing, and with a little help of mr. Han, she made a spare key. Now she could visit the boy when ever she wanted to. And that's what she wanted to do at this moment.
She opened the door of the room, and walked in. But the only person in there was mr. Kim. When he noticed that the girl walked to the room, he quickly got up from the couch that he was laying on, and rushed to Soojin.
"Ya! I'm not infected!" he started yelling, but she was looking around the room, ignoring his screaming. Until he grabbed her arm. The girl furrowed, and pushed the man's hand away, "Let me go! I need to go!"
"Where's Hyunsoo?" she asked. The boy wasn't in the room. The man didn't answer, so the girl lifted her machete, "I asked you a question"
"Don't you know? This little brat Lee is using him to get something for him," the man smiled ominously
Soojin furrowed again, "What?"
Mr. Kim chuckled, "Ask him yourself. He's using your boyfriend to go to the nest of monsters, so he could bring some things that are clearly unnecessary"
She ignored the word boyfriend. But why is another person thinking that?
Soojin stood in front of the man confused, and also extremely pissed off at Eunhyuk. The girl turned around, walking away, but mr. Kim grabbed her arm again.
"I helped you! Now, you let me go"
Brunette chuckled, "No fucking way, old man, you're staying here"
She tore out from his grip, quickly leaving the room. The girl slammed the door behind her, and as she walk away, she could hear the man's screams.
Soojin walked very quickly, looking for Eunhyuk. She tried to stay calm, but as she understood mr. Kim, Hyunsoo was treated as useful weapon. That really annoyed her.
The girl walked to the room that the boy was usually hanging in, and he was in there now.
"You thought I wouldn't find out?" she greeted him. Eunhyuk stopped what he was doing and sighed, turning to the girl, "What the fuck are you doing? You can't just order him to go and risk his life"
"He'll be fine"
Soojin scoffed. Then again, "He'll be fine? How can you know that? He's still a human, he can be killed"
"Are you sure about that?" Eunhyuk adjusted his glasses. The girl didn't say anything, "From what I see, he is immortal"
Soojin wanted to slap the man. Freaking bastard.
She opened her mouth to say something more, but loud screams could be heard from far away. The girl twisted her head, looking at the doors confused. Then she looked at Eunhyuk, but he didn't look surprised.
"It's Jisu," he said casually, getting up from the chair
Soojin's face dropped, "What do you mean it's Jisu?"
She looked at the many cameras behind the boy. On one of the small screens, she saw the girl slowly walking towards scared people, her arms and body were stretching in a weird way. She looked as she was turning.
Eunhyuk walked out from the room, Soojin behind him, holding her machete close to her.
"It's just the training," said the boy as they were walking to the lobby. Soojin looked at him confused, "We did a trap, that we have to check. Jisu is just acting"
The girl scoffed, but she felt relived that there's no need to kill Jisu or lock her.
When teenagers arrived to the lobby, Eunhyuk started whistling on the whistle, and pulled the string, making a lot of noise. Soojin tried not to laugh at this situation, but it looked hilarious.
People that usually didn't do anything useful, were screaming like crazy, while Jisu was marching forward, with blood on her face. She was rolling her eyes all the time. Yuri pointed at her crossbow, while Nayeon stood next to her, holding in her hands just a bow. On her back she had put a quiver, full of arrows. Mr. Han made it for her, and she was so excited to use it, so she almost shot Soojin when they were training. Every arrow could electrocute a person or a monster that get shot.
"You look like Robin Hood," said Soojin, looking at Nayeon
"I look fucking amazing, you know that," the girl smirked
"I mean, from what I know, Robin Hood is pretty amazing?" Soojin shrugged
"I don't know, I didn't watch it or read it"
"Yeah, me either," sighed brunette
The girls looked at each other, and giggled.
Soojin saw Eunyoo and Sangwook, sitting on the bench. She walked to them, and took a place next to the girl.
"That's so fucking idiotic," the younger girl scoffed
Soojin chuckled, "It's fun to watch"
In front of Jisu appeared Jaeheon, pointing at her, his sword. The girl stopped, twisting her head on every side. She started walking slowly towards the man, as he took a step back. Jisu started groaning, imitating the monster, and Soojin couldn't stop the giggle that escaped through her lips.
The big net caught Jisu, as she was lifted by some boys. She started screaming.
"Whoo!" yelled Eunyoo. She stood up, and started clapping at her hands, "This is just great. You seemed having fun"
The girl walked from the lobby, holding hands in her pockets.
"Are they really siblings?" murmured the woman with the dog, but this time she didn't have a dog, "Was she adopted or something?"
Eunhyuk took a step forward, "I say we call it a day. Good work"
The net with Jisu in it was lowered, and three boys rushed to help her, but she waved at them. The girl sighed, and got up, leaving the lobby. Soojin followed her, putting on a hood.
"Oh my God, is this really you?" she sighed, acting amazed, "I'm your biggest fan, Yoon Jisu, you deserve an award for the best actress of the year. Your last performance was phenomenal!"
The girl chuckled, and splashed some water on her friend, "Shut up"
Soojin grimaced, and wiped water from her cheek. She took out, from the pocket of her pants, a pack of cigarettes and a lighter.
"You want?" she shook the pack in front Jisu, but she murmured a no
Soojin took out one, and put it between her teeth. The door of one of the toilets opened, and Eunyoo walked out.
"You look better as a monster," she said, looking at Jisu. The girl ignored her, pulling out a paper from her nose, "Is that your dream? Why do you try so hard?"
Soojin was standing there, smoking her cigarette, watching the two girls.
"I work hard at everything I do," said Jisu, washing her mouth
"When monsters do show up, we're gonna all die anyway. Trying hard, unfortunately, won't stop that"
Eunyoo passed the girl, walking to the doors.
"I look forward to your turn," said Jisu, turning to her
"Pardon? Why on earth would I do that shit?"
Jisu smiled, "Because you're a psycho. And crazy bitch," she swung her bat, pointing it in front Eunyoo's face. Soojin gasped theatrically, interested in the turn of events, "Aren't you? I think you are"
She swung her bat on the arm, and left the bathroom. Soojin exhaled smoke, looking at irritated Eunyoo.
"Shit," Soojin scoffed and pulled out a hand with the box, "Cigarette?"
Eunyoo looked at her and then at her hand, and just scoffed, leaving the bathroom. Soojin shrugged.

Mr. Han and Soojin were on the corridor, chatting with each other, when Hyunsoo arrived. They waited for him. The boy didn't say anything, he just took the key to the room from Dusik's lap. Soojin pursed her lips, seeing how exhausted he was. He put down his spear and backpack.
"Hyunsoo..."
The boy turned to the girl when he opened the doors. She didn't even know what she wanted to say.
"I'm fine"
"Show me the list that you had to complete," Soojin pulled out her hand to the boy, and he looked at it strange
"Why?"
"Because I want to see it"
Hyunsoo huffed quietly, but he took out the list from the pocket. The girl unfolded the paper, and when she read a few of the items she scoffed irritated. She passed it to mr. Han.
"Diary? Mp3? Sunscreen?" she hissed. She couldn't believe that people actually asked for it, "Hyunsoo, do you see that they use you? None of those things are necessary. And you're risking your life to get this"
"Soojin, I'm tired..."
The girl didn't want to argue with the boy, when it wasn't his fault.
"She's right, kid," said mr. Han, putting the paper to his jacket, "You can't let them treat you like this, it's unfair"
"Thank you for your concern, but I'm fine," murmured the boy
He put down the key on the man's lap, and walked to the room, closing the door behind him. And as soon as he did that, he felt guilty. He didn't need to be so cold to them, when they literally showed him empathy, and not many people in this place did that.
The boy rubbed his eyes. He was alone again. Hyunsoo felt sick of this place. At first Soojin was visiting him a few times a day, and now they saw each other only when he was coming back from missions, and these meeting lasted two minutes. Maybe it was weird, but Hyunsoo missed the first days when it all started. When it was just him and Soojin, locked in the apartment, having only each other. He never expected that he gets so attached to the random neighbor that just wanted to be nice to him, as the first person in a long time.
Hyunsoo fell on the couch, trying to fall asleep, cause it's the only thing that he could do on this room. He didn't even notice that mr. Kim was gone.
While Dusik and Soojin were left in a silence, the girl felt in her heart a typical itch. She felt so sorry for the boy, that he is so used, and she didn't know anymore how she could help him.
"Kid?" mr. Han looked at her
"Yes?"
"Take me to the Lee Eunhyuk," said the man
Soojin smiled slightly, "You got it, sir"
The girl put her hand on the handles of the wheelchair. Even tho Dusik could ride there alone without any problem, he always took the opportunity to spend more time with a girl. He liked both teenagers, trying to treat them like his own children. That's why he was so worried about the isolated boy.
Dusik and Soojin entered the same room that the girl went earlier. Eunhyuk was sitting behind the desk, writing something. He didn't even bother to raise his head, when they stood in front him.
"I shut down the elevator," he said, "We're running out of power, and it's dangerous. We'll run it in case of emergency only"
Mr. Han throw the key on the desk, "What we are doing to Hyunsoo," Eunhyuk looked at the key, "is it the right thing to do? He didn't harm anyone. We aren't sure if he'll turn into a monster. Locking him up like that..."
"It isn't right," interrupted him the boy, "I know, but Hyunsoo is dangerous," mr. Han sighed irritated, "He's dangerous, but we need him"
Soojin squeezed handler of wheelchair, "But don't use him like an errand boy. You saw what people ask him for? Such personal stuff, like diary, for example. Who the hell needs diary in this situation?"
"He's also setting traps for monsters," Eunhyuk crossed his arms, "I'll talk with people, so they could ask him only for necessary things"
Soojin clenched her jaw. She was eyeing the boy, until she moved mr. Han's wheelchair, leaving together the room. The man murmured some insult on Eunhyuk, making the girl smile. But her smile dropped after a second, when she remembered Hyunsoo.
