Dinner.
It wasn't as Japanese as it should.
Everyone was served food, and Reigen was still wondering when they were going to serve the chopsticks.
"Where're the chopsticks, Yui?" Reigen whispered to his older sister.
"Idiot. Use the utensils. The old man can't use chopsticks anymore," She said as she continued to eat the curry rice on her plate.
"Am I the old man? I want to use the chopsticks," He said as he huffed.
"Do you want me to shove that shit inside your mouth? Better start eating before I let Yurio eat your food," She said as she gives him a glare.
Reigen immediately pursed his lips as he grabbed the spoon and fork beside the plate.
The man was so culture shock.
The old man was Japanese yet the dinner table looked as western as it is. It's crazy. Look at the ham! The freaking beef steak, burgers, and even the smashed potatoes! Hell, there's even a king crab. Seriously, how rich is this old man?
Reigen asked himself.
The entire dinner was quiet. None dare to ask what's going on in their life.
The kids were quiet too.
And (Y/n) kept spacing out. Maybe because of what happened earlier with Shigeo. The boy just confessed that he also loves her, but her dumbass said she needed timeβ it makes sense because Shigeo rejected her, right?
Yeah, yeah, it makes sense.
And (Y/n) was hoping that Shigeo would live up to his words that he'll wait for her.
She's sure that it's not gonna take a lot of time.
Right, (Y/n)?
"(Y/n)-chan~ how's school?" Michijo(Grandfather) asked the girl.
She seemed to have snapped out of her thoughts as she unconsciously stabbed the wagyu beef with her fork.
"Oh! Fine," She replied shortly as she gives her grandfather a smile.
"How're the grades?" He asked once again.
"All 90's," She said(I can't relate.)
"Wonderful~! Is this your boyfriend?" He asked as he looked over to Shigeo and adjusted his eyesight.
The girl blushed at his words as she quickly shook her head, "No, No, grandpa! He's not!" She protested.
Shigeo has a visible blush on his cheeks as he attempted to hide it by looking down at his lap.
"NYAHAHA! You're like my son, boy!" Michijo laughed as he was pointing at Shigeo.
"Grandpaaaa!" (Y/n) whined as she was ready to cry at any minute because of the embarrassment.
"Come on, old man! No need to embarrass your granddaughter!" Yurio laughed.
"Speak for yourself, young lad. You're 20 years of age and still have no girlfriend to introduce to your old man," Michijo angrily said as he pointed his cane at Yurio.
"Very... Very foul," Yurio said in defeat.
"What's your name, boy?" Michijo asked the timid boy.
"K-Kageyama Shigeo," Shigeo replied.
"Geo-Kun, you better take good care of my granddaughter, or I'll follow you in my afterlife!" Michijo said as he laughed afterward, coughing in the process.
"Be careful, Father. You're not as young as you thought you are," Yui said as she stood up from her seat to pour some lukewarm water for the old man.
"I'm very sorry about my grandad, Shige," You whisper to Shigeo as he took his attention to you.
Shigeo gently shook his head and offer you a small smile, "It's all alright, (Y/n)-san," he said.
You glared at him, "Stop smiling. Do you want me to die?" You asked him.
He looked at you confused but also worried at the same time.
You sigh and scoff, "It's a joke," You said.

Yui and Yurio guided Michijo back to his room and also to get the paper that was needed for your inheritance at the house. You were left with Reigen, Serizawa, and Shigeo in the living room.
It was quiet.
Since Reigen was talking to someone on his phone, Serizawa and Shigeo doesn't talk that much. It was pretty quiet.
Not that you mind though.
Not long before Reigen was already finished talking to someone on his phone. Yui and Yurio arrived.
"Time to go home!" Yui announced with a smile as she holds the paper works on her hand.
She looked over to Reigen, "You have your service?" She asked her younger brother.
"Yeah, don't worry," Reigen replied.
"Great! Not many people can fit in my car anyway," Yui replied. She looked over to you and Shigeo as she smiled, "Come on, kids! Time to go home, it's already late and you two still have classes tomorrow," She said.

The car ride was quiet. Yurio had sat next to his mother up from while the two kids were at the back.
"That brat really reminds me of myself when I was her age," Yui said.
"You already told me about this," Yurio said as he rolled his eyes.
"Shut up and let me rant," Yui sternly said as she glared at Yurio.
"Jeez, be my guest then," Yurio said as he huffed.
"Mhm, (Y/n) used to be so much like me when I was young. And, from what your grandfather said earlier, Shigeo himself is like your father," She said with a smile.
Remembering the fond memory she had with her late husband.
"Except, Miyano was cheerful. He's just really shy and has social anxiety. Making me the man of the relationship, HAHA!" She laughed.
Yurio's sweats dropped. He sometimes wonders if his mom is mentally insane, or something. It makes him worry.
"But, hopefully. These two will follow the right path I and Miyano also took. I don't want to see (Y/n) cry again," She said with a gentle tone.
Yui looked at the rear mirror inside the car to see the two at the back already sleeping. Both of their heads rested with one another, this made the woman huff and smile.
"They're adorable. Oh yeah, Make sure to buy her some condoms," Yui smirked as she giggled.
Yurio groaned, "Oh god, mom, they're fourteen!" He said as he glared at his mother.
"HAHA! You can never be too sure!" She said.
"Shigeo-Kun is not like that, mom. You know that," Yurio said.
"I know. He's a sweet boy. So, I don't mind my daughter having a relationship with him. She picked them well," She said with a smirk.
"Damnit mom," Yurio.
