After the snow was over, everything was back to normal, it was the same dull HQ it was before, not to mention the snow delayed the expedition so the expedition was days after the snow settled

You, unfortunately, were still recovering from an injury from before and they urged you to stay back and it was a small expedition after all

"oh hey [y/n], before you go, can you deliver this to Levi" Hanji went up to you

You look at her and nod, " sure but why? is he not coming with you?" you questioned 

Hanji chuckled, " well, he's sick" Hanji smirked and whispered the last part

Your expression then turns into a shocked one, " captain sick? hard to imagine" you said

Hanji nodded and smiled like a maniac

"yeah, bizarre right? i couldn't believe it too, but when I heard the cough it was to good to be true" Hanji squealed which later turned into a smirk

"come to think of it, only a few people are staying back so you get to hang out with Levi~" Hanji smirked and leaned to your face

Your cheeks to your ears turn red and you joint back

" W-hat There's To It!" you say, hiding the fact you actually like the man

"oh my dear [y/n], I know everything~ enjoy your day!" Hanji said as she dropped the pile of papers on your open arms

Before your mouth gaped open the mad scientist ran away laughing historically

You sighed and collected yourself and walked to the captain's office

After walking for a few minutes you reached Levi's office and after taking a few breathers, you knocked on the door

"whos there?" a voice croaked that was barely unrecognisable

" [y/n] [l/n] sir" you called

Levi seem to groan before telling you to come in which to that you did

When you went in, you were greeted with an unorganised room and with tissues everywhere with the sick Levi on the table with his messy hair everywhere on the desk

It was so unlike him

"sir, um Hanji told me to give you the paperwork before she left" you said with sincerity

You looked around and Levi dismissed you and you went to his cleaning cabinet and got gloves

Levi, in his state, let you as you picked up the tissue and got out the trash and organised the desk

After you did all these things, he looked at you

"thank you very much [l/n]" he sniffled

You smiled, " of course no problem, um...let me just give you some soup and warm water and um medicine," you said as you tucked Levi in the blanket more in his office chair 

He nodded in his sleeping state, he needed it after all

You walked out determined and went to fetch the ingredients, making your own soup that took about 30 minutes with the supplies given

After fetching it, you carefully made it back to Levi's office and by that time Levi had a bit more strength

"hey captain, here's the soup with warm water with the medicine on the side " you smiled

"...thank you..." Levi said after a long pause

You smiled and gave him a spoon

"you should blow it-"

before you could gesture it to him, Levi took the spoon and drank the soup but hissed at the heating sensation

"see?" you pouted and gave him your water that you were going to drink but because his water was hot so you gave it to him

Levi did as told and after some time, you decided to feed him, getting the spoon and dipping it in the soup and blowing the hot air away before feeding him,

You were quite surprised Levi didn't stop you, he seemed to enjoy you doing this

After some more time, he fed himself and you just prepared his medicine and he took it

After regaining some strength back Levi looked at you

"why are you doing this?" he asked

You looked at him, a bit taken back at the sudden question

"your my captain, that's why" you said smiling

Levi sighed and rested his chin on his hand as he observed you 

"your pretty" he mumbled, half-asleep 

Your ears perk up and you look at the captain blushing

"captain-"

"It's Levi when were alone" Levi dismissed

"o-okay Levi" you said, it was unnatural of you to mention his name out loud like this

Levi ruffles his hair a bit and looks at the paperwork 

"tch shitty glasses had to" Levi whined as he observed the pile 

You snap out of your thought at the last comment and agree with him 

"yeah...sorry" you replied 

"it's not your fault" Levi said after a deep sigh

You watched as he got his supplies to sign the paper 

Before he could write you stopped his hands 

"wait...your sick let me help you" you said as you got a piece of filed paper and get his extra pens 

Levi looked at you and nodded sightly 

"thank you"

After hours of work, the tension only rose higher, you caught a few glances of Levi here and there and you badly wanted to find out why he called you pretty, him the stoic and cold captain, just complimented you, how can you not be confused

"thank you for helping me" Levi said as he coughed a little 

you frown, " of course, anything for you- i mean because your my superior" you fixed your sentence

Levi looked at you, the night scenery hiding his pink-tinted face 

" before I go anyway...tell me why you called me pretty?" you said as you stood up 

Levi looked at the ground 

"fuck it" he mumbled 

"listen to me brat cause I'm not going to say this again, I like..you..." Levi said avoiding eye contact 

You were so taken back, you nearly fell down 

"you..what???-"

Before you could finish Levi grabbed your wrist getting out his chair and pulled you in a hug 

"you...have quite the reflexes" was all you could chuckle in your nervousness state 

" is that a...answer?" Levi mumbled through your hair 

Your face was heating up at the current moment 

"um...i like you too Levi-"

And due to this man's quick reflexes, he pulled out from the hug and kissed your cheek 

" LEVI! Y-OUR SICK!" You yelled as you backed up 

"so what?" Levi pouted as he continued to hug you and follow your steps 

Sure enough as a few steps passed, you both tripped and fell on the couch that was magically there 

You sighed as Levi landed on top of you 

" I'm going to get sick and your going to blame me if I past it to you again" you said making Levi snuggle on your chest 

" so brat? i will get sick as many times as I want if it means I can be with you during all of it, your mine ok?" Levi said ever so sweetly 

You couldn't help but melt at his words and without realising you both soundly fell asleep

Your eyes flatter and you sit up and look at your lap 

You had sworn Levi sleep on it 

You stood up and stretched and saw Levi stretching on the other side of the room 

"morning" was all he said 

You smiled and waved 

Suddenly out nowhere you had the urge to sneeze and so you did, this could only make Levi pout 

" look who got sick because of a cheek kiss...you brat" he teased 

"s-hut up! you kissed me!!" you said sniffling 

Levi rolled his eyes and guided you to his bedroom 

"I'll get you some medicine and give you attention," Levi said as he tucked you in bed 

"thank you"
