You shouted so the message was clear and bowed down, awaiting an answer 

There was silence and you stood there looking at Levi, praying answers in your mind 

" I'm sorry but I have a girlfriend," Levi said as he walked past you 

Your heart shattered at those words

" of course" you mumble, body shaking and tears on the brim of your eyes so suddenly 

" I'm such an idiot, asking the popular guy, heck like he would notice me" you said, squeezing your knuckles 

You sighed and wiped your tears and continued forward, " god I'm stupid" you said banging your head again and again, replaying the scene many times in your mind

I kept walking, a bit guilty at my harsh response but then i was stopped when i realised i was met with my girlfriend, Petra 

" so why did you want to talk to me?" I asked as I looked at her 

She was a mood lately, it might be me but I couldn't help but feel her and I drifting apart

" ah, Levi darling, well...look I want to break up" She chuckled

My heart stopped, did I hear that correctly...? 

" what are you talking about..?" I asked taken back 

" look, I just...don't like you anymore..." Petra said looking at the ground 

"Petra...why? is it me, I can change-"

" don't...i don't like you anymore, just goodbye" Petra waved and walked away 

I look at the ground heartbroken...gripping my knuckles in a state of frustration making me punch the wall suddenly 

" woah! Levi what you doing!!?" Hanji said as she merely dodged the impact 

I look at her and walk away

" PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER LEVI!" Hanji said as she banged her folders on the table 

" yes it's for your wellbeing," Erwin said as he sipped his drink 

It was lunch and I haven't been myself in several days...i just couldn't get over her...

" ugh, your even more grumpy..." Hanji said crossing her arms 

I bury my head in my arms in a state of tiredness 

"...but shorty, you still like her right?" Hanji asked poking me 

" fuck off shitty glasses," i said irritated and even more pissed off 

" hey that gives me an idea" Hanji wiggled her eyebrows at Erwin 

" what is it?" Erwin asked, catching on 

"how about we make her jealous? She's bound to come back and it will be a happy ending for everyone!" Hanji said with happiness in her tone 

I looked at her without a reaction 

" no. if she's happy, I'm...happy" I mumbled 

" yeah right" Hanji said looking at Erwin 

I sigh and turn my attention to a random table to see Petra with her new "boyfriend", if i knew it was this jerk, i shouldn't of killed him a long time ago 

Erwin somehow notices my glaze

" looks like you want the plan to happen Levi" he said 

I turn to him and see Hanji looking at me with a confident face 

" c'mon, say the word, we know you want to get back with her" Hanji smiled 

I look back at Petra smiling and hugging her boyfriend and after sighing in defeat i agree

" fine..." i grunted 

" good, now who should we chose?"

The actions from several days before haunted you and never wanted to leave your mind, giving you endless torture 

You sigh in frustration and look at Levi, him and his girlfriend were rarely around each other but you felt so selfish asking him to go out with you when he had a girlfriend, of course, you still loved him...but if he's happy, your happy, at least that's what you wanted to believe 

You stood there, gaining the confidence to speak up, you had to apologise otherwise your brain would nag you to death about it 

So after school was over you spotted Levi walking out of the school 

" Levi! wait!" you called out, he stopped and turned around and you bowed 

" I'm sorry! it was really inconsiderate of me to ask you out because you have a girlfriend!" you said with your head as low as possible 

You heard a frustrated sigh 

" no, no it was me...look I'm sorry for what i said...if you like we could go on a date" Levi said 

Your ears were very deceiving at the moment

" what?" you said, checking to see if you were hearing correctly, didn't he have a girlfriend?

" what about your girlfriend?" you added

" we broke up a week ago..." Levi said rubbing his neck 

" oh, I'm sorry are you okay?" you asked, feeling a bit more guilty, was it you who did this?

" yeah...if it's fine with you though, we can go on a date..." Levi said avoiding your gaze

' why does it sound like his pushy ' you thought, of course, you still liked Levi and this opportunity shouldn't be ignored 

" ah, of course! we can!" you said with a smile

" great, let's meet at the cafe near here at 4:30pm" Levi said turning around 

You stood there dumbfounded, of course, you couldn't believe it but you went along with it anyway, it was now or never

You dusted your outfit off and waited at the cafe 

' is this ok ?' you asked yourself as you checked in the cafe mirror 

" oi" you heard which made you jump suddenly 

You turned around and were met with icy orbs 

" oh your here! sorry if i kept you waiting, please let's go inside!" you smiled and dragged Levi inside

" black tea" Levi said ordering his drink after you announced the food choice 

" [favourite /drink ] please " you said smiling 

the waitress smiled and went into the kitchen to prepare the food and you look at Levi 

He seemed bored and you were thinking of something to talk about 

" hey so is this your favourite cafe?" you asked 

Levi nodded and never left his gaze

You looked at the table he seemed to be spying on and sure enough, there was the description of Petra, the rumoured Levi's ex-girlfriend, she fitted the description too and was with another boy, presuming her new boyfriend 

" hey...i know i have no right to say this...but your too good for her, if that's what you are feeling, of course I'm no better but you really deserves someone better than me and her" You smiled and cupped Levi's hand on the table 

Levi looked at your hand and blushed

I was shocked by her words and even more startled when she cupped my hands, my cheeks couldn't help but grow pink 

" that said, anything you want to talk about?" she asked

I gulped, my brain wasn't thinking straight damn it 

" Hey here's your order" the waitress served

" ah thank you so much" [y/n] smiled, i looked at her, did she always have this sparkle in her eyes? why didn't i notice this before?

" ooo look at the cake, you can take the first bite" she smiled

" i don't like cake" i answered

" don't be silly, here give it a try" she then scooped up a piece of cake and guided it to my lips 

I was sceptical but somehow her eyes ordered me to do it  

I opened my mouth and eat the piece of cake and pulled back quickly 

She smiled and got her spoon and ate the cake 

After that, she looked at me and giggled 

" what is it brat?" i asked 

" sorry but that piece of cake!" she giggled and got a napkin and wiped the smudge off my cheek 

I blushed the contact, what's wrong with me?!? my goal here is not to fall in love!

"th-ank you" i said after a long pause 

[y/n] smiled and before she continued, something rang in her [pokect/bag] and she picked up her phone 

I waited for her to respond to the call but she declined it and put her phone away 

" who was that if you don't mind me asking?" i asked

"no one special, anyway you come here often, what's your major?" she asked smiling happily 

I cup my cheek where the contact happened between me and [y/n], whenever Petra and i were on dates she always would be on her phone...heck even the first date she paid no attention to me...

I look at Petra who was staring at me and then turn my glaze at [y/n], what is happening to me?

" gosh its raining!" [y/n] called as she went in the rain 

I look at her and grab out my umbrella 

" here lets share" 

She turned around, the scenery and the lights complimenting her featurse that stood out 

I think I'm falling...again

" see? was it that much of a hassle to come inside?" [y/n] asked as she dried my hair that somehow got wet in the rain

"I hope you're better now! " you said as you then put the towel away 

You look back at Levi who was severely red 

" you okay you look sick from the rain, you're all red!" you said as you cupped Levi's cheeks 

Levi then turns even redder and suddenly cups his hands on your own 

" i am...just lovesick" Levi said after a pause, you blush at the comment and your hands fall down 

Levi could only get closer to your face making you panic, is this happening? is this going to be your first kiss?

You close your eyes and were met with a pair of lips on your own and before you knew it, you were pinned down my kisses...

" i want to get back together!" Petra said she pulled me aside 

I look at her with my glare, they use to be loving eyes but not anymore 

" look Petra, i don't like you anymore, I'm sorry but you can find someone better though...how about Oluo?" I said as i patted her shoulder and continued to walk leaving her mouth opened in shock 

" Wa-it! You Can't Just Leave Me!" she called, it fell deaf on my ears

In the meantime, you were walking past the halls when you overheard familiar voices 

You being curious wanted to see who it was and leaned against the wall and listened in 

" Petra don't worry, i swear it was just to make you Jealous, Levi only got a date to do that...i know because Hanji told me" was what you heard 

You clench your chest 

So...it was all a lie? of course, you were so naive, was it fake from the beginning?

You wipe the tears trying to fall down your cheeks and continued to walk further 

you were always so naive...the clues were all there

He was just using you...

Ever since the day i rejected Petra, [y/n] had been ignoring me, did she know? surely she didn't 

" [y/n]" i called as i saw the similar [h/c] coloured girl 

" uh..what is it? i have to go soon Levi" [y/n] said with sadness in her tone 

Its happening again...

" [y/n] why are you ignoring me? did i do something wrong?" i asked softly 

" no..." she said avoiding eye contact 

At this point i knew she already knew and i couldn't hide it either 

" look, [y/n], i dated you because i wanted to make Petra jealous so we get back together..but i realised when i was with you, it was 100x times better than being with Petra...[y/n] i love you and i can assure you i don't like Petra anymore" i explained, cupping her hands 

[y/n] stared at me shocked 

" i pinky promise" i said like a child, it was the only thing i could think of to do 

[y/n] could only smile weakly 

" you better" she smiled as she collapsed in my arms 

I hugged her tightly 

After parting she looked at me and kissed me which to i kissed back 

" by the way...i love you too Levi"
