You were the odd one out, your abilities were beyond compare, in the underground you no doubt stood out from the rest, you were just different...

After your mother abandoned you on the streets you were founded by your best friend, Farlan, Levi and Isabel, the three noticed your abilities but it never changed the fact you were you

In their words you were like family to them, you were home

" another day huh?" You beamed to the stoic man

He chuckled and nodded

" survive alright brat?" He said

You chuckled and held out your pinky and he scoffed

" I'm not doing that child hood shit" Levi rolled his eyes

You kept your posture and after time Levi shared his pinky with yours and after pulled away in embarrassment

" come on we have to go" he said snapping out of his thoughts, this could only make you giggle

You were walking on the street as you were getting food after splitting ways to find food, hearing whispers coming from people, unaware you walked to a stall until someone grabbed your wrist

Your eyes widen as you were met with blue eyes

"gotcha" someone mumbled

Before you could react you were knocked out

You woke up in a strange bed, you looked around, panicking after not realising your surroundings, the roof seemed to crush you as the length of the walls were very small

You saw a window and looked out

You frowned when something blinded your eyes

"what the..." you mumbled

You looked at the door and run to it and try to unlock it but of course you couldn't unlock it

You looked at the window, and realized it was high up

You sighed and went to the window and looked up and saw a roof, you were at the very top of a strange building

After some thought you remembered you have a secret pocket

You put your hand in your pocket and got out a knife

"its now or never" you mumbled

You looked at the window and stabbed it

It made a loud thud but at least you could escape with a few minor cuts

Your arm gripped on the roof as you were literally right on the roof and with your agility, you went out and used your other hand on the roof and now facing the room, you pushed yourself up on the roof

You looked at your arms which looked red and bloody and after sighing, ripped a piece of your clothing and wrapped it tightly on your arm, hissing at the pain

After looking on the roof you saw a ladder that was a part of the building that seemed to be part of a construction area that lead safety down

After using that you ran, not knowing where but you just kept running, one thing was for sure, you weren't home

It had been a few years you had been on your own, you lived near the city and life was the same just like in the underground, you had to steal food or run errands just to survive but today was different...it was so unreal, you were moving places when you stumbled across an unknown area and what you discovered was truly haunting

You were beyond shocked as the face drawed closer to you

Were you dreaming? surely not

IT was a dragon, yes a dragon, how does it exist!?!? there's no way that this was real

You close your eyes as you put your hand in front of your face for no reason

To your actual surprise, the dragon just closed its eyes and rested its mouth on your hand

You look in confusion

What the hell just happened? this was too good to be true, but everything did look real...

After a few months you had grown accustom to the 'dragon', you had to hide it most of the time but currently it was your only escape from the world, it was home. One day while getting food and walking back to the mountain you heard a group of horses

" in the mountain "

You heard one yell and you start to panic and run to the mountain in a hurry when you see the dragon sleeping peacefully

You sigh in relief but that all ended when you heard someone call out for you

" you, hands up and away from the beast" someone yelled

You had a hood on so right now, no one could recognise you

You sighed and turned around and looked at the group

You were surprised when suddenly you saw a familiar figure

" [y/n]?!?"

" Levi??!?"

Before you could say anything further you were pinned down and the squad went up to the dragon with swords, awakening it which was the last thing you saw before blanking out

After waking up you saw a figure by your bed, dizzily you got up

" who are you?" You asked as you snapped into reality and went to the edge of your bed

" Oi brat stay calm it's me" A familiar voice rang through your ears

You we unsettled by it but quickly realised it was none other than your old friend

" but I thought you were in the under-"

" we got caught...I was so worried about you" Levi said as he cupped your hand

You stare at him dumbfounded

" where am I?" You ask observing your area

" the survey corps took you into custody since you interacted with the animal, they are questioning why you were there" Levi crossed his arm making you nod in response

" wait [d/n]!" You preferred to your dragon

" his fine..." Levi said, obviously hiding something

You laid back in the bed

" what were you doing near it?" Levi questioned

" well I met it back then, it was unbelievable, it really was and somehow it liked me" you said thinking of their pain

" sound like bullshit I'll give you that" Levi said bluntly

" say how are Farlan and Isabel? They coming here soon?" You said pointing at the door

There was silence and before Levi could speak the door opened

" um court sir" someone reported

Levi sighed

" looks like it's time, come with me" Levi said standing up

You nod but hesitate but follow him...after all these years, you still trusted him

" GET AWAY FROM IT YOU MONSTER" someone yelled

You turned around and saw all eyes on you

You were taken to court, it was in a large field away from civilianisation

They asked about your relationship with the " beast" so you showed it

You went up to it, ignoring everything pointed at you and at the sight of you, [d/n] calmed down at your touch

There was a moment of silence, everyone was silent, it was truely amazing

" sir a proposal, with this tamer we can kill Titans with it! If they agree to help us" Someone spoke out

The chairman observed

You didn't know what was going on, everything was going to fast, that was until a pinky cupped yours

You turned and saw Levi

" do you accept this proposal to help this dragon get on our side to kill titans for the sake of humanity?" He stared into your eyes with the same eyes in the underground

You couldn't help but smile at his soothing voice

" I can try"

You were talented after all, helping humanity to the very end and not breaking your promise
