BROADWAY THEATER; A PLACE WHERE EACH SHOW IS JUST AS MAGICAL AS THE LAST. And Nick Jonas and Elisa Evans were the first eight-years-olds to be in their first Broadway show, A Christmas Carol. It all started when Nick and Elisa accompanied their mothers who were getting a haircut one day.

The two of them had been singing together the whole time they were there, letting their love for music soar. Everyone who was watching them immediately loved listening to them and once their mothers were ready to go, a woman leaned over and said, "My son is doing a Broadway show right now. Your kids could do it,"

At the thought of being on Broadway was enough to make the two excited. Nick and Elisa looked over at Rosalina and Denise and simply said, "Mom, we're gonna be on Broadway,"

Rosalina and Denise obviously knew that they loved music with a huge passion. But for them to start getting opportunities at such a young age — it was incredible and amazing. So, when Nick and Elisa got in their first Broadway show; A Christmas Carol, they couldn't help but feel excited about it.

On the day of the show, once Nick and Elisa were ready and in their costumes for the show, they took a quick peek at the audience. Their family and billions of people were in the audience, which made Elisa nervous as she and Nick looked away.

"Are you nervous?" Elisa asked.

Nick nodded, "A little. Are you?"

Elisa nodded. "Big time. There's really a lot of people out there,"

Nick looked at her and pulled her hand into his, making the two look at each other as their eyes met.

"It'll be okay, Eli. We got this. Just pretend it's only me and you there," Nick said, his dark brown eyes not looking away from her green eyes.

Elisa nodded, never leaving the sight of his dark brown eyes that always made her heart flutter. She didn't know why but whenever Nick called her Eli, it'd always made her stomach get butterflies and her legs shaky. None of it happened when Joe and Kevin called her that and she loved them like they were her older brothers, but when it was Nick... it was a whole different feeling she felt for him. She just didn't know what it was.

Since the day he met her, Nick has never knew why he felt nervous around her. His legs felt shaky and his dark brown eyes always found a way of staring into her warm green eyes, the eyes that he could stare into all day long. For the first time, he was always asking Joe and Kevin the kind of questions that a younger brother would ask his older brothers, and every now and then, Joe, Kevin, Emma, and Luke would always tease the two about liking each other — always trying to get the two to admit it, but they never did since neither one of them knew what it was that they were feeling yet, they were kids.

Every time he saw Elisa smile or heard her laughing, it made his world bright up or made him smile. He didn't know why but he loved seeing her smile or hearing her laugh. It always made his heart flutter at the sight and his legs shaky, it always brought butterflies to his stomach. He loved seeing her happy and that's all he wanted for her.

Realizing that the two were staring at each other, their cheeks turned pink a little as they snapped out of their gaze.

"You ready, Eli?" Nick asked.

She smiled and nodded. "Let's do this, Nicky,"

And when it was time for the show to start, they had the best time of their lives. Both of them had forgotten all about their nerves, pretending that it was only the two of them despite them being in front of billions of people. And when the show was over and they were all backstage, Nick and Elisa were the first to meet up with each other as they shared a quick hug, their hearts pounding in their chests as they pulled away with their cheeks blushing lightly.

"You were right, Nicky. It was a lot easier doing this when you pretend it's only me and you in the room," Elisa said, blushing lightly. "Thanks for believing in me,"

"I always will," Nick said softly, blushing lightly as well.

"Well, I believe in you too." Elisa said, smiling. "Come on, let's get the costumes off and find the others,"

Once they had the costumes off and we're back in their own clothing, Nick and Elisa went to go find their family. When they did find their family, more opportunities for the two of them started coming in and this was when everything changed for the two.

Franklin Nathaniel Jonas

That was the name of the new addition to the Jonas family. The three brothers were with Elisa and her family at their house while they waited for their father, Paul to call from the hospital to give them the news on the birth and to let them to come over. Kevin and Joe were excited to have another little brother while Nick, on the other hand, couldn't help but feel less excited for the new baby.

He hated how everyone was excited to see the newborn addition to the family, but what worried him the most was that his brothers and best friend would just forget about him because they're too busy, focusing on the baby. Growing up, it was always the four of them with how close they were. Their parents even called them, "The Four Musketeers" because of how close they are and he hated how things were changing.

He kept his thoughts to himself while he sat on Elisa's bed, barely listening to the conversation Elisa, Joe, and Kevin were having about the new baby. It wasn't till he heard them coming him that he snapped out of his thoughts.

"Nicky? You've been quiet. What's wrong?" Joe asked.

Nick shook his head, "It's nothing,"

"You know you can tell us anything, right?" Kevin asked.

Nick nodded but Elisa knew that something was bothering him. Giving him her best puppy-dog eyes that he always found adorable, "Come on, Nicky. I can tell something's bothering you. What's wrong?" She asked, concern in her green eyes.

Nick wanted to look away from her puppy-dog eyes, but he couldn't. "I don't want the new baby around," Nick said honestly.

"How come?" Kevin asked.

"Cause everything's changing. It was always the four of us, just us. The Four Musketeers. And now with the new baby coming, that's all everyone's focused on," Nick said.

Joe stared at him and realized what was bothering him. "Nicky... you don't think that when the baby comes, we'd forget about you, right?" He asked.

Nick hesitated to say anything and that was all they needed for a answer. "Maybe," Nick said quietly.

"Nicky, we won't forget you. Everything may be changing and you, Kev, and Joey may be getting a new brother but that doesn't mean we'd forget you. We won't," Elisa said.

"When the baby comes, things will be different. But we're always gonna be the Four Musketeers. That's never gonna change," Joe says.

"How are you guys so sure?"

"Because we're always gonna have each other's backs. There's no way we're gonna lose this bond that we have, Nicky." Kevin says. "It's all for one, and one for all,"

Elisa was the first to pull Nick into her arms for a hug, ignoring her fluttering heart in her chest.

"We're never gonna forget you or each other, Nicky. We're always gonna be family," Elisa says.

Joe and Kevin nodded in agreement and joined the hug, which eventually turned into a group hug. They pulled away from the hug as there was a knock on Elisa's bedroom door and then, Emma walked into the room.

"Your dad called. He said that we can go to the hospital now, your new brother is here," Emma informed.

They nodded and hopped off the bed, putting their shoes on and heading down the stairs. Once they arrived at the hospital and the room where Denise was with the baby, Nick was hesitant to see his new baby brother as he stood a few feet away, getting the attention of Joe, Kevin, and Elisa. Elisa grabbed his hand and lightly pulled him over to see his new brother, she nodded him and let go of his hand so he could see the baby.

Once Nick, Joe, and Kevin saw their new baby brother, Frankie opened his eyes to see his brothers and with one look, Frankie had managed to get Nick to change his mind about him. With one look, Nick loved his new little brother and realized that having a little brother of his own wasn't so bad after all.

Joe, Kevin, and Elisa were right. Things may be changing and they may be different now, but that didn't change the fact that the four of them were always going to be the Four Musketeers. Because with a strong bond like theirs, it couldn't be broken.

So, things were a bit different with a newborn baby within the Jonas family home and with Kevin doing commercials while Joe, Nick, and Elisa on Broadway shows, it was a crazy season where their talents were getting multiple of opportunities. One day, after one of their Broadway shows, Ricky Evans was driving the kids home when Nick and Elisa had the idea of writing a song. Once they reached the house, they sat at the piano and properly wrote a song.

Nick and Elisa wrote two songs together. One called "Joy To The World: A Christmas Prayer" and "Who I Am" that they placed on CD. But what they didn't know was that these two CDs were going to change their lives.
