THE SUN SHINED THROUGH THE WINDOW WHILE ROSALINA AND RICKY WERE ASLEEP. Ricky was then awoke to hearing his phone ringing and with tired eyes, he grabbed his phone and answered the call, bringing it up to his ear.

"Hello?" He asked, his eyes closed while trying not to fall asleep.

David Massy : Hi, it's David Massy from Sony.

The minute Ricky heard that, his eyes shot open in shock as he sat up on the side of the bed so he wouldn't wake his wife up.

"Uh, hi. Do you need something?" Ricky asked, rubbing his eyes with one hand to make sure that he wasn't dreaming.

David Massy : Your youngest daughter, Elisa Evans wrote two songs with her friend, Nick Jonas, right?

"Uh, yeah. Joy To The World and Who I Am," Ricky said.

David Massy : Well, I found the CD and I listened to it. These two are very talented and clearly have a amazing gift, and I was wondering how they felt about recording a album of their own.

"Uh, I'll tell them and see what they said," Ricky says.

David Massy : Great. These two really are talented and with a gift like theirs, they deserve a chance to be heard.

Once the call ended, Ricky placed his phone back down and let his brain just progressed about what happened and what he just heard. "Ricky? Who was on the phone?" Rosalina asked, just waking up as she sat up in the bed.

"David Massy, from Sony. Apparently, he got the songs that Nick and Elisa wrote and he wants to know if they're interested in recording a album of their own,"

Elisa woke up to the smell of pancakes and at the smell of her favorite breakfast, she immediately hopped out of her bed and got dressed. Once she was done, she left her bedroom and went down the stairs, entering the kitchen and sitting down at the dining table. Usually when they had big news or if it was a special occasion, the family would have pancakes for breakfast.

Her green eyes lit up with excitement as she saw the plate of pancakes. She thanked her parents and picked up her fork, taking a bite out of her pancakes.

"Mom? Dad? What's the occasion?" Luke asked, taking a bite out of his pancakes.

"Yeah, that's when we usually eat pancakes for breakfast," Emma said, taking a bite out of her pancakes as well.

Rosalina and Ricky looked at each other before back at their kids.

"Well, David Massy called." Rosalina said.

Elisa was still eating her pancakes as she listened to the big news, having no idea that it was the two songs she and Nick wrote.

"From Sony?" Luke asked.

Ricky nodded, "Yes. And... he wants to meet with Elisa and Nick about the two songs they wrote,"

Elisa felt her green eyes widen in shock at the news as she looked up from her nearly empty plate of pancakes. When she and Nick wrote the songs, neither one of them had been expecting for someone like David Massy to want to meet them after listening to the songs. Excitement coursed through her veins as her green eyes lit up and she smiled big at the news.

On their way to Sony, Nick and Elisa were practically bouncing up and down in the car seats they were sitting in with excitement in their eyes and big grins on their faces. Once they got to Sony, Nick and Elisa still had excitement coursing through their veins, but they were also nervous by now. Meeting with David Massy from Sony... it was such a huge opportunity for them and they were super nervous.

With their family waiting in the waiting room, the two eight-year-olds nervously went to see him. Once they reached the door, both of them sucked in a deep breath and stepped inside.

"Hi, you two must be Nick Jonas and Elisa Evans," David Massy said, smiling at the two little kids.

They nodded shyly.

"You two are very talented, you know that? The songs you wrote, Joy To The World and Who I Am are really good," David Massy said. "I'm sure your parents have told you both that you're talented and filled you in on what I wanted to ask."

Once again, they nodded. This meeting was when everything changed, giving Nick and Elisa the chance for them to follow their dreams within the music world.
