LIFE CONTINUED ON FOR NICK AND ELISA AS THEY NEVER HEARD FROM KEVIN AND JOE AGAIN. Elisa wouldn't admit it but a part of her was still upset with her two best friends who are basically like her older brothers losing contact with her without bothering to even talk to her. But she pushed these feelings aside and focused on her music career, glad to at least have Nick in her life still. She'd have no idea what she'd do without Nick, the boy she always found adorable and how she stills finds him adorable. It's funny, she grew up with him and she always knew that she felt something for him, but never knew what it was. Back then, Joe and Kevin were always teasing her about the fact that it was because her and Nick liked each other more than friends, but of course, being little kids back then, they both declined it, not wanting to admit it that they were right on whatever the feeling was. Now, she has her older sister and older brother Emma and Luke to tease her but still, there are a few times where she missed Kevin and Joe teasing her.

Asides from all of that, both Nick and Elisa were doing extremely well with their solo careers. Neither one of them missed the other's gigs or tours, always staying by each other's sides but the two of them would also get all nervous around each other, keeping their feelings inside of them. There was a time where they almost confessed till Luke had accidentally started cheering and doing his "victory dance" before it happened, at first he didn't notice that he gave away his hiding spot till he looked over to see the two staring at him. But either way, both Nick and Elisa were definitely ready to be global superstars. Elisa was with Emma and Luke as the three of them hung out while Elisa had just finished working on one of her songs.

"Nice song, little sis. It's definitely gonna be a hit," Emma said smiling.

Luke smirked. "Yeah, especially since it's about your not-so-secret-crush on Nick."

Elisa couldn't help but blush lightly from that. Normally, she would say that it's not true but this time, she couldn't even decline it. Ever since it was just her and Nick now, she started writing about her feelings for him with her best friend on her mind all the time.

Elisa blushed lightly, "Fine! It is!"

"So, are you gonna tell him?" Emma asked. "A few of your other songs are about him too."

"Tell Nicky? I can't do that. Cause if he doesn't feel the same, I'm not gonna ruin the friendship I have with him." Elisa said.

"Doesn't feel the same? You two have liked each other since we were kids on the day we first met!" Luke reminded. "I'm begging you! Tell Nick how you feel about him. Not a single trick of mine ever worked to get you both to confess."

"I thought you would be protective about this." Elisa said, raising an eyebrow at her brother.

Luke scoffed, "The only guy I trust to be with you is Nick. He's the only one I'd approve of you to be with! And I know dad and mom will agree with me."

"Do you guys really think he feels the same?" Elisa asked, blushing lightly as her cheeks turned pink.

"Yes, we do. Because Nick does feel the same way. Just like you write songs about your feelings for him, he writes songs about his feelings for you." Emma said.

"What song did he write about me?" Elisa asked.

"Uh, how about Lovebug, Burning Up, Look Me In The Eyes?" Luke reminded.

"Okay, Look Me In The Eyes we both wrote together." Elisa corrected.

"Exactly our point!" Luke said. "You both like each other."

"So, are you gonna tell him?" Emma asked.

"Look, I want to tell him, but I'm not gonna ruin my friendship with him if he doesn't feel the same. I care about him a lot and I really don't want to lose him," Elisa said.

"Just trust us, sis. Nick does feel the same about you." Luke said.

Emma snorted, "I'll say. You both are crazy about each other."

"You know every time you laugh, you snort, right?" Elisa asked.

Emma scoffed in fake hurt. "I do not!"

Luke and Elisa glanced at each other before they both pinched Emma's elbows, making the oldest sibling laugh then snort.

"You were saying?" Elisa and Luke smirked at her.

"If either one of you tell anyone, I will make sure you never see the light again." Emma warned, making Elisa and Luke laugh.

"Nicky! You're here!" Elisa squealed as she threw her arms around her best friend backstage since her concert was done. The butterflies fluttering around in her stomach returned and her heart started pounding in her chest from how adorable Nick had gotten. Gosh, he was always gonna be adorable in her eyes.

Nick chuckled and returned the hug, wrapping his arms around her. "Of course, I'm here, Eli. You were amazing,"

Elisa blushed lightly and tried to ignore her beating heart but failed. "You really think so?"

"I know so." Nick smirked.

Elisa couldn't help but giggle and smile at the same time as her green eyes met his black eyes in a lovely gaze. She could hear her mind yelling at her to tell him how she truly felt about him, but she was worried that he didn't feel the same and she really didn't want to lose him as her best friend. She cared — no, she loved him too much to lose him. It didn't matter who went up to her, Nicholas Jerry Jones was always gonna be the one she loved and her best friend since the moment they met as little kids.

Here he was. Staring into her warm, soft green eyes as his heart pounded against his ribcage while his mind screamed at him to tell her how he truly felt about her as well. He didn't want to admit that his brothers were right but from the moment he first met her as little kids where he had blurted out — calling her pretty, he had always felt something for her, but he never knew what it was. Unlike Kevin and Joe who kept telling him to tell her how he felt, Nick never say anything for the same reason as her: he didn't want to lose her as his best friend. But as he's staring into her green eyes, the more he wants to tell her how he feels — even if he's worry about losing her as his best friend.

But of course, when fate is at work with getting two people who truly do care and love each other, it doesn't stop till they're together.

Also, that song that Elisa was working on — the song doesn't get recorded till her and Nick decide to make their relationship official to the public AFTER their FIRST time saying I love you. So, that song will come out after but I will say that the song I have in mind for it belongs to Sabrina Carpenter since it's one of my favorites — I have a few favorites from her.
