THE CROWD CHEERED AS NICK'S AND ELISA'S GIG STARTED. Music started to play and the magic began as Nick started his turn.

Then Nick smiled as his best friend, Elisa walked onto the stage. The crowd cheering both of their names with squeals, always finding the two adorable with the chemistry between Nick and Elisa. Elisa then sung her part.

Then, both Nick and Elisa sung the next part as the crowd continued to squeal and cheer over the adorable sight.

The crowd cheered, clapped, and squealed as they came to an end. Both Nick and Elisa were lost from staring into each other's eyes, both of them wanting to be close and to just... be together.

"Nicky, you were amazing!" Elisa gushed with a big smile plastered on her face as the two were now backstage in the room, relaxing as she threw her arms around him for a hug.

"We were amazing, Eli. You were amazing out there too," Nick corrected with a big smile, returning the hug for his best friend while his heart pounded against his ribcage from seeing that big smile on her face he loved seeing so much.

Elisa couldn't help but blush lightly before she found herself lost from his black eyes while he felt the same from her green eyes as they lovingly stared at each other. Their faces were so close and their noses were centimeters apart, basically touching and you could see a faint blush on their cheeks.

"Nicky, I can't keep lying to myself anymore." Elisa whispered, not moving away from his black eyes.

"About what?" Nick whispered, not moving away from her green eyes.

"Nicky, it's you. All the songs I wrote about having feelings for someone, these songs are about you. You're my best friend, Nicky, and I don't wanna lose you because of this but I can't keep lying to myself anymore. I like you, Nicky, more than a best friend. They were right, I always liked you more than a best friend our whole lives." Elisa softly admitted honestly.

Just by the word they, it was easy to tell who she meant. Kevin and Joe. Ever since the two have just lost contact with her out of nowhere without giving her a explanation, Elisa couldn't even say the names of her two best friends who have always been like her older brothers her whole life so, whenever she has to talk about it, she doesn't said their names: she says either they or them. The only person she really told that she was upset about her two older brothers losing contact with her was Nick and he's always been there for her since then, she's willing to do the same for her best friend.

"Eli, you're not gonna lose me cause... I like you more than a best friend too." Nick softly admitted as well. "I always did. You're the reason why I wrote Lovebug and Burning Up. I like you, Eli."

Elisa met his black eyes in a lovingly gaze again and just by staring into them, she knew that he was telling the truth and it also made her feel safe like always and she knew that he wouldn't lie to her: he never did.

"Now what do we do?" Elisa whispered softly, having no idea what to do. "I'm scared."

"Why?" Nick whispered softly, both of their noses nearly touching with their faces centimeters apart.

"We've been best friends our whole lives, Nicky. I really don't want to lose you because I like you too much to lose you, Nicky. You're a rockstar and I'm your—" Elisa began to said, but Nick interrupted her by softly lifting her head so their eyes met again.

"Elisa." Nick finished for her.

Elisa couldn't help but stared into his black eyes as her cheeks lightly turn pink from that as she smile softly.

"I'm your Elisa. I like the sound of it," she admitted softly.

"Me too." Nick admitted softly.

The two of them were nearly about to kiss till suddenly, Luke ran into the room with Emma following close behind, causing the two to get startled as they looked away, their cheeks turning a bright pink.

"Ignore me being here! You don't see me! I waited too long to miss this!" Luke quickly insisted, holding up his phone to take a picture.

Emma sighed and gave a apologetic smile, "I tried to stop him. He wouldn't listen."

"Like I said, I waited too long to miss this!" Luke said, not moving his phone from them.

Elisa and Nick didn't say anything with their cheeks turning an even brighter pink while Luke practically begged them to continue on and ignore him being there, claiming that he waited too long for this. But right now, in that moment, Nick and Elisa were happy. Even though they decided to keep their relationship private from the public which includes the media with the exceptional of Emma, Luke, and both of their parents: Rosalina, Ricky, Denise, and Paul knowing about it as the two of them took their newly relationship slow, not wanting to rush into anything — possibly ruining their lifelong friendship and just enjoy being with each other.

Here's the thing though. With how nosy and curious the media can be sometimes, it was no telling how long they could keep it private from the media. But they didn't worry about that. They were just enjoying being together as they took their newly relationship step by step.

You didn't think that I was gonna have Nick and Elisa kiss already, did you? Nope! I have a idea for their first kiss which I am not sure when that chapter is coming out.
