"Hey," Ha-ri said, finally pulling away from her brother. She wiped her tears. "We need to leave. We have to save ourselves."

~~~ 22 ~~~
Wu-jin suddenly looked at Ha-ri funny. "Why are you back?" he asked her.
"What?" she replied.
"Why are you back at the school?" Wu-jin said.
"The archers came back today."
"No, I get that..." he started. "Did you not make the nationals?"
Ha-ri didn't reply, and instead picked up her bow and turned to me. "Are you tired yet? Can you still fight?"
I sighed. "No, probably not. I already thought I couldn't before we ran around the whole school again."
"Again?" Hyo asked.
"Yeah, we've been everywhere. Gwi-nam and I especially. I flickered the lights from the gym breaker box, and Ha-ri's group figured out we were there. They joined us. We were a group of 6, but... We lost Jun-seong."
"The lights were creepy..." Dae-su mumbled.
"Does anyone want food?" I announced.
"Oh, right!" Mi-jin said.
"You have food?" Wu-jin asked.
"Yeah!" I took my backpack off. Gwi-nam looked at me, but it didn't stop me from wanting to help them.
I gave everyone something small, which they were all thankful for.
It took a lot out of our supplies, but at the same time, it was less weight for me to carry. I wouldn't get tired as fast.
When everyone finished, Ha-ri asked again, "Are you all ready to leave?"
No one seemed to argue with her. The adults weren't coming, and we had less supplies and limited time. I would have to tough it out.
Everyone gathered their equipment and useful things while Gwi-nam and I did our normal search around the room for supplies.
We couldn't find anything, so we returned to Ha-ri.
Mi-jin walked up to me and tapped me on the shoulder. "Don't you think they should have weapons too? To defend themselves?"
"Yeah. They should, but there isn't much either of us can do. We will just have to protect them."
"What if we don't trust you with that?" Ji-min asked me, overhearing our conversation.
"Hey. If you want to live, then shut up and deal with it." Min-jae started. "Otherwise, stay here and see what happens without our help."
"Thank you, Min-jae," I said.
He nodded and went back to what he was doing. Ji-min stopped talking to us and looked down.
Ha-ri announced one last time for us to leave, and with that, we all walked out of the room.
There were significantly less zombies than at the start of the outbreak. I thought we had something to do with it.
We kept running through the halls to get out of the building. Gwi-nam and Nam-ra were all it took to kill the random zombies here and there.
The zombies wouldn't even look at them, so they were safe.
The archers, Mi-jin, and I all watched the back while everyone else was in the middle of the group, safely protected.
Suddenly, a girl screamed. It was the same bloodcurdling, angry scream from the freak girl, Eun-ji.
She was charging at us from the back. I was going to try to kill her when Gwi-nam ran past our group and tried to protect us.
Eun-ji had something in her hand, but I couldn't tell what it was.
"Why aren't you dead yet?!" she yelled. "You're like me, that's just my luck!"
Nam-ra was still protecting the front of the group. Min-jae ran over to help her.
Gwi-nam charged at Eun-ji, knocking her over. He punched her in the face.
"RUN!" he yelled.
I didn't move. I wanted to stay and help when I got an opening.
Ha-ri had been shooting zombies that were charging at us, so she couldn't help.
Mi-jin looked like she was trying to make up her mind on what to do next. She also looked worried and scared.
I started running towards the halfbie fight when Eun-ji took the thing in her hand and stabbed Gwi-nam's eye with it.
I got a little closer and realized it was a piece of broken glass.
Gwi-nam took a few seconds to roll away from the fight. He was holding his eye which was bleeding pretty badly.
I jumped on top of Eun-ji and knocked the piece of sharp glass out of her hand.
I tried to stab her with my knife, but she grabbed my hand and stopped me.
She stood up, still fighting me off. Then, she pushed me and yelled, "I'LL KILL YOU!"
She was a hell of a lot stronger than she looked, and I got knocked back several feet.
Dae-su suddenly charged at her from the middle.
"No!" Ha-ri yelled.
He didn't stop and kept going.
Eun-ji yelled angrily again. Not even Dae-su's weight was enough to stop this beast.
She simply grabbed his arm like he was a children's toy and bit into it.
Dae-su screamed in pain.
I wanted to do something, but I was in so much pain from all of the fighting.
"DAE-SU!" Wu-jin yelled.
He tried to run to his best friend, but Ha-ri stopped him.
Hyo-ryung screamed. She started crying, unsure of what to do.
Mi-jin ran up to the fight and pushed Eun-ji off of Dae-su, and then grabbed his arm and helped him up.
Dae-su looked terrified. He kept mumbling things like, "No... I don't want to die..."
I ran over to help Gwi-nam.
Eun-ji was already able to stand up, and she charged at me.
I held my knife out and stabbed the freak in the stomach.
I didn't want to kill her, because then, I would be responsible for murder. I didn't want to let that happen.
I pushed Eun-ji off of my knife and ran back to help Gwi-nam. He was still holding his eye and groaning in pain.
I grabbed his arms and helped him up. I then took his free hand in mine and ran to catch up to the others.
Everyone aside from Ha-ri, Wu-jin, Dae-su, and Mi-jin had made a run for it.
We made it to the cafeteria before Dae-su started twitching. He suddenly passed out. Everyone stopped in their tracks.
