A/n - Prepare for some angst tomorrow. I can't keep up with 13 characters plus y/n lol. So many people are going to die.

After a few more seconds, the door opened. Nam-ra was standing on the other side to let us in.

~~~ 21~~~
I almost screamed with joy, seeing Nam-ra alive. She quickly pulled us into the room thinking we were being chased by zombies.
She hugged me tight as soon as the door closed. I hugged her back.
I felt so relieved.
Nam-ra pulled me out of her hug and smiled at me.
"Is Wu-jin with you guys?" Ha-ri asked.
A chubby kid from one of my classes looked up at her. "Yeah, actually. He's in the recording room right now."
"Don't go back there, that's our bathroom," someone else said.
I looked up almost instantly at the familiar male voice. It was Su-hyeok.
Su was alive as well.
He looked at me and smiled. I ran over to him. I hugged him.
My only two close friends were alive after all.
Ha-ri tensed up and waited for her brother to leave the recording room.
While she waited, I saw about 8 or so other people in the room. I noticed some of them shifting uncomfortably and glancing over at Gwi-nam.
He was hiding behind me like some child or something. Not literally, but he wasn't willing to socialize with any of them, and instead stayed closely by my side.
He looked a bit upset.
"So, can you all introduce yourselves?" I asked.
Nam-ra looked at me with a confused expression, "Don't you already know everyone here?"
"No, not really," I replied. "I'm L/n Y/n. Nice to meet all of you, even if it is the middle of an apocalypse."
"You're the tiny thing that's been killing all of the zombies?" Cheong-san laughed. "Never would've expected it from you." He looked towards the rest of my group. "I'm Cheong-san. Lee Cheong-san."
On-jo went next. "Nam On-jo."
"It's good to see you two alive," I smiled.
On-jo walked up to me and hugged me before going back to Cheong-san's side.
"I'm Nam-ra, but you all probably know that already." Nam-ra started. "I'm class president, but there's something else you should know. I'm a hambie. Half-zombie."
I gasped. "What?!"
She moved her sleeve back to reveal a bite mark. "I was bitten by a girl who didn't even appear to be infected."
"Eun-ji," Gwi-nam said.
"Yeah. You know her?" Nam-ra replied.
He looked away.
"He's a half-zombie too. Bitten by the same freak," I told her.
All eyes were on him. No one dared to say anything.
"It's okay, Nam-ra. We understand, I think," I told her.
She looked at the rest of my group. Everyone gave her a sympathetic look.
"Let's continue," Su-hyeok started. "I'm Lee Su-hyeok." He looked towards two girls and a boy that I was unfamiliar with.
"My name is Oh Joon-yeong."
"Seo Hyo-ryung, but you can just call me Hyo."
"Ji-min. Kim Ji-min."
Out of everyone, Ji-min looked the most scared.
"Yang Dae-su here." He raised his hand.
Mi-jin had been staying quiet.
"Your group's turn," Ji-min said coldly.
She had rubbed me the wrong way.
I looked at Ha-ri and Min-jae.
"Jang Ha-ri. Wu-jin's brother," Ha-ri said.
"We know," Joon-yeong said.
"Then why ask?" she replied.
He shut his mouth.
"I'm Min-jae, the freshman," Min-jae announced. He bowed in respect. "Thank you all for having us."
"I like you. You're cool," Dae-su said. Su-hyeok nodded in agreement.
I looked at Mi-jin. She rolled her eyes.
"Park Mi-jin. Ready to kill all zombies," she said tiredly.
"Where the hell did you get a saw from?" Cheong-san asked her.
"The roof," she replied.
"Coooool," Dae-su said.
"No wonder you guys survived. You got that saw and the arrows. You guys are amazing," Joon-yeong said.
I pulled out my knife. "We have knives too."
"Sick," Dae-su said.
"He hasn't introduced himself yet," Ji-min said, pointing to Gwi-nam.
He sighed and stepped forward. "I'm Gwi-nam. Yoon Gwi-nam. I don't want any trouble."
Tension filled the air.
Ha-ri looked around, realizing that everyone was uncomfortable. "He won't hurt you. We promise," she said.
I gave her a thankful, surprised look, then looked back to the rest of them. "Yeah, he won't."
"We've been with him long enough to know that," Min-jae said.
"Well... If you're all sure...." Su-hyeok said before getting cut off.
"Yeah, we are! Leave him alone!" Mi-jin yelled.
I was surprised to see everyone standing up for Gwi-nam. A day ago, they wanted him dead.
But they're all putting their lives on the line to protect him.
It felt good to have so many friends.
Nam-ra smiled at me, and looked up at Gwi-nam. "If y/n trusts you, I'll trust you. For now."
The recording room door finally opened.
Ha-ri turned her whole body towards the sound.
Wu-jin walked through, and she immediately ran to him, and swung her arms around her brother tightly. Ha-ri started crying.
The room was silent and everyone was watching the happy reunion of the brother and sister.
I smiled.
Mi-jin walked over to both of them and comforted Ha-ri.
Su-hyeok walked over to Nam-ra and I. He put his hand on Nam-ra's shoulder and smiler at her.
Su-hyeok suddenly looked at me. "Oh, right. I forgot to tell you, Nam-ra and I officially started dating."
I gave him a surprised, hopeful look. "Really? Congrats!"
"Thank you," Nam-ra said.
Gwi-nam had walked over to the corner of the room, away from everyone else. I could tell he was having a hard time near so many people.
Everyone seemed like a happy little family here. It was nice.
"Hey," Ha-ri said, finally pulling away from her brother. She wiped her tears. "We need to leave. We have to save ourselves."
~~~ End ~~~
