Henry's POV

I wake up in the morning feeling awful, I have this disturbing headache and felt hot and cold at the same time. I rolled off the bed on to the floor, there was a loud thump. I groaned and that's when my mom came in.

"Henry? What happened?" My mom asked me.

"I rolled off the bed." I said.

My mom looked at me concerned.

"Are you okay? You look awful and your voice is kind of cracked..." She asked me concerned.

"Yeah I'm fine, I'm sure it's nothing."I replied.

"Okay. You better hurry, you have school." My mom said.

I nodded then my mom left the room, I started changing but my headache came back again. I pushed both of my temples with my fingers for a while then shrugged it off later, I walked to the living room and went to the door

"Bye mom, bye dad, bye Piper." I said.

"Bye Henry, be careful." My mom said.

"See you." My dad said.

Piper completed ignored me. I rolled my eyes then walked out of the house, I'm sure that I'm fine right?

Charlotte's POV

I walked to school as usual then saw Jasper.

"Morning Jasp." I greeted.

"Oh, Morning Char." Jasper greeted back.

"Did you see Henry?" I asked.

"I didn't see him yet, he's usually early but today, he hasn't arrived yet." Jasper said.

I nodded.

"Anyways, did you know what I got yesterday?" Jasper asked getting hyped.

"Uh... what is it?" I asked pretending to not know.

"It's going to be a bucket..." I thought.

Jasper reached his backpack, and what do you know? Another bucket... Yay...

"I bought an 'Inside out Burger' bucket!" Jasper said.

"Why did they even make this?" I asked pretty annoyed.

Then Henry came in looking different, his hair was a bit messy and he looked tired and pale, Henry cleared his throat then walked towards us.

"Hey guys." Henry greeted.

"Hey Hen." Jasper and I greeted back.

"You okay? You look... different..." I asked.

"I'm fine Charlotte, don't worry about me." Henry replied.

"I don't believe you..."I said crossing my arms.

Henry's POV

"I don't believe you..." Charlotte said crossing her arms.

Darn it, Char! Why do you get suspicious so easily?

"And why's that?" I questioned.

"Because of this..." Charlotte said.

She places her hand on my forehead, dang it...

"Your forehead is burning..." Charlotte said.

"What? No, it's not." I said.

"Henry, do you have a fever?" Charlotte asked.

"No I don't, I'm fine."I replied.

"If your fine then why does your-" Charlotte said.

Charlotte got interrupted by the school bell, thank god the school bell is a life savor this once... Thank you.

"Come on, let's go to class." I said.

"We'll talk about this later." Charlotte said.

We started to walk to class and Charlotte has her eyes on me the whole time suspicious of me, I hope she doesn't find out...

~Time skip~

We just finished school so Charlotte and I are heading to Junk N' Stuff since Jasper said he already got there.

Charlotte is still suspicious with me because of some of my actions at school today like laying on the table, not talking a lot like I usually do and literally didn't eat anything at lunch.

When we're walking there, my headache came back. I pushed my fingers on my temples again, I was squinting my eyes but noticed that Charlotte was staring at me so I stopped.

"Henry, please just admit that your sick, because I know you are." Charlotte said.

"I'm not." I said.

"Henry-" Charlotte said.

"Charlotte, you don't have to worry, I'm completely fine." I replied.

Charlotte sighed then nodded her head. Suddenly, my wiz watch beeped. We hid behind a bush then flipped the watch.

"What is it, Ray?" I asked.

"There's a robbery at Swellview bank." Ray said in his uniform. "Come suit up, I'll wait for you."

"On it." I said then hung up.

We ran to Junk N' Stuff and waved at Jasper behind the counter, we got in the elevator but didn't scream since we got used to it now. We got out the elevator then arrived in the Man Cave.

"Hey, Ray." Charlotte said.

I blew my gum then transformed into my Kid Danger costume, Ray and I walked up to the platform of the tubes then tapped our belt buckles.

"Be careful Hen!" Charlotte warned.

"I told you, I'm fine." I replied.

"Up the tube!" Ray and I said.

We got sucked up the tubes and ignored the fact that I'm unwell.

Kid Danger's POV

Right now, I'm facing the leader of the gang responsible while Ray fought the two other robbers.

It was going well, until my headache came again... But not just that, I feel dizzy and weak too, I started sweating a lot. Charlotte was right, I should've listened to her. Okay, snap out of it Henry! You have to focus on the robber now!

He unexpectedly tried to shoot me with a gun but I dodged every single shot thanks to my Hyper Motility, I punched the leader then zapped him with my laser and now he's unconscious.

I look to my right and see Ray zapping the last one, Phew... thank God that's over...

"Kid, stay here and don't let these criminals escape. I'll get the cops." Captain Man ordered.

I nodded then he ran out of the bank. Suddenly, my headache was back but even worse than last time. I felt a little light-headed so I sat on the floor, I tried staying conscious but my eyes got heavier so I close them and then the darkness covered my vision...

Captain Man's POV

I called the cops moments later to take care of the robbers then noticed that Henry is nowhere out here so I went back to the bank and see Henry passed out on the cold hard floor...

"Kid!" I yelled.

I ran to him and checked his pulse, thank god he's still breathing... I immediately carried him in bridal style and ran out the bank to the Man Cave, why did he pass out?

Charlotte's POV

Jasper and I are in the Man Cave waiting for Henry and Ray to return. I was sitting by the monitors researching criminals but I have a bad feeling for Henry, I kept having thoughts of Henry in my mind but then Jasper realized it.

"Hey, Char. Are you okay?" Jasper asked.

"Yeah, I'm just worried..." I said.

"About?" Jasper asked.

"Henry..." I replied.

"Why?" Jasper asked.

"Because-" I said.

I got interrupted by Ray coming down the tube.

"Hey Ray." Me and Jasper said.

"Where's Henry?" I asked.

"Hang on a second." Ray said.

Then the other tube came down revealing an unconscious Kid Danger... The tube came down and Ray caught Henry so he doesn't fall down.

"Henry!" Jasper and I yelled.

"What happened?" I asked.

Ray brought Henry to the couch and laid him down.

"I'm not sure, I told Henry to stay and don't let the criminals escape while I go get the police. When I went back to the bank, Henry was laying on the ground." Ray explained.

I placed my hand on his forehead.

"Guys, he's burning." I said.

"What? Why?" Ray asked.

"He seemed fine at school..." Jasper said.

"I knew it! I knew it! I knew he was sick, but why didn't he tell me?" I asked furiously.

"We'll ask questions after we help him." Ray said.

"Right. I'll get the first aid kit, you guys stay by Henry." I said.

Ray and Jasper nodded then a ran to the sprocket.

Kid Danger's POV

I wake up to find myself in the guest room of the Man Cave and seeing Charlotte sitting on a chair next to me waiting for me to wake up, I'm still in my Kid Danger costume but except that my mask is off and... hold up... I don't feel hot and cold anymore... my headache is gone too... what the butt happened?

"Charlotte?" I meeked.

Charlotte immediately looked at me.

"Henry! How are you feeling?" She asked.

"Better, I guess..." I replied.

"Guys! Henry's up!" Charlotte yelled.

Ray and Jasper rushed into the room.

"Henry, are you okay?" Jasper asked.

"Yeah, what happened?" I asked.

"You fainted in the bank after the fight." Ray said.

Oh God... I can't let them know the real reason why I fainted...

"Uh... Why did I faint? heh... it's not like I'm sick or anything right?" I said awkwardly.

I slightly slapped myself when I said the last sentence, sheesh I'm a terrible liar...

"Henry... you don't have to lie, we know you're sick..." Charlotte replied.

Then she turned to Jasper and Ray.

"Oh, um... we'll be right back." Ray said.

Jasper and Ray left the room leaving with me and Charlotte.

"Henry, why..." Charlotte started.

"Why what?" I asked.

"Why didn't you let me that you're sick?" Charlotte asked.

"Because... I... I don't want to get all the attention and-" I said.

"You know you could've gone to the hospital if you didn't tell me sooner!!!" Charlotte yelled.

"I-" I said.

"Don't think that you don't deserve my attention Henry Prudence Hart cause you are the most important person in my life and I can't lose you like this!!!" Charlotte yelled furiously.

"I'm sorry..." I said with a cracked voice.

Tears somehow started to roll down my cheeks, then Charlotte unexpectedly gave me a hug.

"It's okay, I'm sorry for yelling at you. Just please don't ever lie about being sick again..." Charlotte said.

Charlotte wiped my tear with her thumb then I nodded, we stared at each other's eyes for a while. I somehow had the force to lean forward, Charlotte does the same. We started kissing each other on the lips then stopped after a good 5 seconds.

We stared at each other's eyes again awkwardly. Ray came in unexpectedly.

"Woah... what happened here?" Ray said.

"Nothing..." I said.

"So... Is Chenry a thing now?" Ray asked.

"Ray!" Charlotte and I yelled.

"Okay, I'll give you two privacy." Ray said then shut the door.

Nobody's POV

"Okay, I'll give you two privacy." Ray said then shut the door.

Charlotte and Henry started laughing when Ray left, Henry suddenly felt something new. Whatever it is, it felt right.

Little did he know, Charlotte felt the exact same thing.
