Summary: Charlotte found out that Henry is Kid Danger and ended up getting Henry fired for breaking his oath. How is Charlotte going to cheer him up? Why is  Piper concerned?

Henry's POV

"You're fired."

That sentence hit me hard, is he serious?

"F-Fired?" I stuttered.

"That's right, you can leave your watch on the table there." Ray replied.

"But I swear I didn't want to tell her, she figured it out-" I explained.

"Henry, you took an oath..." Ray interrupted.

"I know but..." I said.

"You promised me you wouldn't tell anyone, and I trusted you to keep that promise." Ray said.

Ray has never been this disappointed or serious to me ever, I can't believe this is happening...

"When trust is broken, it can never be fixed." Ray said.

"Wh- yes it can." I replied.

Ray went over to the table and grabbed a fortune cookie.

"Open this cookie and read the fortune." Ray said.

I grabbed the cookie then cracked it open to find a piece of paper, I read it once and was already confused.

"When trust is broken, it can never be fixed." I read.

"Let's not argue with the Chinese... goodbye, Henry." Ray said.

Ray walked to his sprocket with a disappointed look on his face, I look at my whiz watch one last time before taking it off and placing it on the table, I headed to the elevator after. The elevator door opened, I took this moment to look back at the Man Cave one last time before stepping into the elevator, it might even be the last time to see this place. When the elevator door closed, tears threatened to fall, I've been holding back those tears for awhile now.

I broke my oath... I messed up... Why am I such a bad liar? Charlotte would've found out if I was a good liar but no, I had the best job that there is but not anymore.

It's over... Kid Danger is over... This cannot be happening...

Charlotte's POV

So, it turns out that Henry was Kid Danger the whole time and I'm not surprised by that. I mean, it was so obvious. I just hope that he's not mad at me for figuring out...

I decided to text him to see what's up.

~Text conversation~

CHARLOTTE
Hey Hen, how are you?

CHARLOTTE
Hen?

CHARLOTTE
Henry?

CHARLOTTE
Hello?

CHARLOTTE
Okay. Since you're not replying your texts, I'm coming over to see what's up...

~Text conversation over~

Something's deffinately wrong, he usually replied his texts by now, I grabbed my phone and jacket then headed out to Henry's house.

Piper's POV

I'm now scrolling through my phone with ear buds listening to music. I heard the door open then Henry came in but for some reason, he is sad and depressed.

These few weeks I grew concerned of Henry because he's acted more different than before. I stared at my phone but peeked at Henry for a bit, he grabbed two bottles of chocolate syrup then went up the stairs.

When he's out of the room, I took off my ear buds then stared at the staircase that Henry just walked on confused. Suddenly, Charlotte came to the front door.

"Hey, Piper." Charlotte greeted.

"Hey, Charlotte." I greeted back.

"Uh, have you seen Henry? He's not replying to my texts." Charlotte said.

She showed me the texts she sent without a single reply.

"He's upstairs." I simply replied pointing at the staircase.

"Thanks." Charlotte said.

"Don't mention it." I replied.

Charlotte ran up the stairs.

Charlotte's POV

I thanked Piper then ran up to Henry's room. The door was shut when I arrived, I knocked on the door then entered without waiting for a reply.

I entered to find Henry sitting on the floor drinking two bottles of chocolate syrup with jazz music playing in the background, I sighed as I thought it was his girl problems.

"Dude, what are you doing?" I asked.

"Staying here until I die, that's what..." Henry sighed.

"What is it now, girl problems with Bianca?" I asked.

Henry shook his head then drank more chocolate syrup.

"Remember you found out that I'm Kid Danger yesterday..." Henry asked.

"Yeah?" I replied telling him to go on.

Henry explained everything to me. After he finished, my eyes were widden, I started to pace back and forth while Henry was drinking more chocolate syrup.

"And Captain Man fired you?!" I shrieked.

"Mmhm..." Henry hummed.

"But... it's not your fault I figured out you're Kid Danger." I said.

"It doesn't matter... I broke my oath..." Henry sighed.

"Well, you got to fix this!" I said.

"How..." Henry replied.

"I don't know!-" I said

I paused to grab the chocolate syrup out if his hand.

"-But you're not going to find the answer on the bottom of a bottle of chocolate!" I continued.

I threw the chocolate syrup on his bed but when I looked back at Henry, he took out another bottle.

"I won't know if I won't look..." Henry sighed.

He flipped the cap open then started drinking some more.

"Jasper's right..."

"About what?" I asked.

"I was a lame Kid Danger... I couldn't even help Capatin Man catch the stupid phone shark." Henry admitted.

"I feel awful..." I said.

"It's cool..." Henry replied.

He took out a pair of sunglasses then put them on.

"Still got my jazz..." Henry said.

Henry clicked the button on the remote then changed the music into a different jazz song, it is simular to the cup song vocals but more lower pitched then the original one.

A/N: This what it sounded like. (From the original episode)

"I got my ticket for the long way round,
Two bottles of chocolate for the way.
and I can't believe I got fired today,
but I did and it's kinda your fault." Henry sang.

I looked down with shame, oh Henry...

Henry's POV

Charlotte let me alone to cool down. Right now, I'm litterally laying on my bed suffocating myself with a pillow. I suddenly heard knocks at the door.

"Do not come in..." I muffled still facing the pillow.

The door opened anyway.

"Henry?" the voice said.

I looked up to see Piper. Ugh, I can't deal with her right now...

"What do you want Piper..." I groaned.

She shut the door then sat on the bed facing me while I was sitting upright.

"What's the matter with you? You've been acting like this since you got back home." Piper asked concerned, "And what's with the chocolate syrups?"

Piper? Concerned? Those two words even sound weird together. I ignored it for now and stayed silent.

"I don't want to talk about it..." I responded.

Piper got up then walked behind me, I couldn't tell what she was doing because I was too busy playing with my fingers.

Piper sat next to me then held my gumball tube, my eyes were widden in shock. What?! How did she find it?!

"Now you want to talk?" Piper asked again.

I stayed quiet.

"Henry, are you Kid Danger?" Piper asked.

"...N-no I'm n-not..." I stuttered.

Piper sighed.

"I can tell you are by you stuttering, you're not so good at hiding a secret then you think you are." Piper said.

I know that I'm just going to make it worse by denying it so I gave it in.

"Okay, fine... you got me... I'm Kid Danger..." I admitted.

Piper nodded.

"Too bad I'm not anymore..." I whispered out loud to myself.

I thought Piper didn't hear that but she did, Piper looked at me skeptical.

"What?"

"Nothing, just get out of my room, Pipes..." I responded.

"Come on Henry, I just want to help." Piper said.

I hesitsted for a moment then decided to talk.

"I broke my oath..." I muttered.

"What do you mean?" Piper asked.

"I took an oath to promise that I'll never tell anyone that I'm the sidekick behind the mask. Charlotte found out yesterday and now...well..." I stated

"It's okay, you can tell me." Piper said.

Wow, she's never been this gentle to me. This is kind of a rare experience.

"Captain Man fired me, how am I suppose to get my job back now if you also found out...?" I asked, mostly myself.

Piper sighed.

"Listen, I know it's hard to believe but I actually cared about you. You're my older brother and I don't want to see you like this..." Piper confessed.

I was shocked and yet confused.

"I-I thought you hated me..." I said.

Piper shook her head.

"I know you thought I did. Sometimes, it's just easier to let the person you thought you hate come into your life and care for you, I care for you." Piper said, "Everytime, I saw Kid Danger on the news-"

"You'll call me..."

Piper nodded.

"I know being a sidekick has got to be a blast, but I never want to stare at the door nervously everytime you go to work to see if you're still alive..." Piper frowned.

I sighed.

"Being a sidekick is not all fun in games... sometimes I need to sneak out after midnight just to save people, I barely get any sleep and just have trouble balancing my normal life and my sidekick life..." I admitted.

"I read comics before, Henry. I know how much shit the sidekick had to handle..."Piper said, "But I know you can do it... even though you're fired, you'll always be my hero." Piper said.

I smiled, Piper gave me a hug then I hugged back. Our mom suddenly came into my room but we ignored it then kept hugging.

"Aww... that's so adorable..." My mom said.

My mom took a picture.

"This picture is going on the living room wall." My mom said.

That got me and Piper's attention, we stopped hugging then faced our mom

"Mom!" Me and Piper said.

"Okay fine, but it's going on the bedroom wall." My mom replied then lefted the room.

When our mom left, I suddenly got a phone call.

"It's Charlotte." I said looking at my phone.

"Answer it." Piper said.

I answered the call then placed the phone on my ear.

~Phone conversation~

HENRY

CHARLOTTE
"Henry! Come to Swellview Park right now!"

HENRY
"Why?"

CHARLOTTE
"The Phone Shark! He's right in the park!"

HENRY
"Wait really?"

CHARLOTTE
"Yeah! Come catch the Phone Shark before he leaves!"

HENRY
"Okay, I'll be there in 10 minutes."

CHARLOTTE
"Come on! Hurry!"

HENRY
"Okay."

~End of conversation~

"What is it?" Piper asked.

"Charlotte said that the Phone Shark is in Swellview Park right now, I got to go." I said.

I stood up.

"Wait!" Piper said.

I look at her then she handed me my gumball tube.

"Don't forget this." Piper said.

I stared at the gumball tube then gladly took it out of Piper's hands.

"Good luck, I know you can do it, Kid Danger..." Piper said.

I smiled, I blew a bubble then transformed into the superhero sidekick, Kid Danger.

I was about to leave through the window but then looked back.

"How about you let this be our little secret?" I asked.

Piper raised her right hand.

"I, Piper Hart. Pledge to never tell anyone that I know Kid Danger's secret identity." Piper said.

Piper placed her hand down, I chuckled.

"Now go out there and make me proud." Piper said.

I smirked confidently then went through the window.
