man dressed in all black and even has a black mask on, walking towards me and stopped when he was a few steps close to me.

A/N: I'm not good at making villains so almost every one shot, the villain is all in black XD

"It's time." He said.

"I know what time it is..." I replied, "You can do whatever you want with me, just stay away from Captain Man and my family and friends."

"Very well." He smirked.

He grabbed something in his pocket. When he found the object, he aimed it at me and pulled the trigger.

I suddenly felt jolts of electricity run through my veins, I yelped then fell on the ground. I got to admit, that hurts. I looked back up to the hooded man and realized that weapon he used on me was a taser.

I somewhat felt devastated of leaving the world this fast and at the same time pissed at the fact that this man ruined my life.

"You... you son of a bitch... You ruined my life..."

"I know." The hooded man simply responded, a devilish smile started forming across his face.

I cringed. I know I agreed to this but it makes me sick that I couldn't have another option. He reached into his pocket again and pulled out a gun. He inserted a bullet and aimed it at me.

"Say goodbye, Henry."

I shut my eyes waiting for him to pull the trigger. I guess this is it... the last day of my existence as Henry Hart and Kid Danger...

Goodbye...

"NO!!!"

Third person POV

The hooded man's wrist was zapped making him drop his weapon. After that, a figure dressed in blue and red started to beat the man up.

"It's Ray!" Henry thought

The boy's eyes started to sparkle with hope.

"Nobody. Touches. My. Sidekick!" Ray yelled between every single punch he threw.

After awhile, Ray was finally done. He tied the man up and ran towards Henry, the sidekick was still on the ground as Ray knelt beside Henry, helping him sit up.

"Kid. Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" Ray asked.

Ray started to check up on Henry to see if there were any bruises, cuts or specifically any injuries.

Henry shook his head slowly, Ray sighed in relief at his response. After that, Henry wrapped his arms around Ray. The hero hugged back as his sidekick cried on to his shoulder. Ray started rubbing small circles on Henry's back.

"I- I was so scared..." Henry sobbed.

"I know, I know." Ray hushed, "But you're okay now. I'm here."

Ray felt insanely bad for Henry, seeing his form right now makes him realize just how young and soft the kid really is. Henry's only 14 and Ray pushed him to a world of fighting criminals. Through all the countless bad guys they have fought together, this is the first time he's ever seen Henry so hopeless and vulnerable in his sidekick uniform.

Henry on the other hand, didn't realize that he was terrified of all the possibilities that could happen when he saw the note since day 1 until he finally seeked some comfort from Ray. At first, Henry really thought that he was going to die. But the next thing he knew, Ray showed up on time and saved him from his death. Imagine what would happen to Henry if Ray didn't show up...

They stayed like that for a while and finally pulled away when Henry calmed down.

"How did you manage to find me anyway?" Henry asked, honestly curious.

"Well, you seem pretty suspicious back in the Man Cave so I decided to follow you secretly to see what you're up to and ended up here." Ray explained, "What's going on with you lately?"

Henry sighed, "I'll explain when we get back to the Man Cave."

Ray nodded. He stood up and reached for his phone.

"Okay, I'm gonna call Charlotte to tell her what happened," he said facing Henry, "and then the cops to let them take away this asshole." he glared at the unconcious villan.

Henry nodded.

Ray called Charlotte and then the cops and took Henry to the Man Van during the process. He waited for the cops to show up then left the factory.

The car ride was filled with awkward silence. Henry and Ray didn't dare to say a single word to each other. Ray was concentrated on driving while Henry was staring blankly at the window by his seat, thinking this is a miracle that he's still here, breathing and alive.

~Time skip~

"Henry!" Charlotte cries, wrapping her arms around Henry in a tight hug as he and Ray enters the Man Cave. Henry smiles softly and returned the hug.

"Hey, Char." He simply replies.

They stayed like that for a good 10 seconds before pulling away.

"Is Henry okay? Are there any injuries?" Schwoz asked, walking by Charlotte.

"Nope, he's okay." Ray replied.

Schwoz and Charlotte sighed in relief.

"Oh kid, do you mind explaining to us what was that all about back there?" Ray asked.

Henry hesitated for a moment but then gave it in.

"Alright, you guys might wanna sit down for this." Henry stated.

~Time skip~

"-but before he could kill me, Ray showed up just in time and beated the stuffing out of that villan. After a little comforting, blah blah blah, Ray came back with me and here I am." Henry finished.

"Wait, you've been keeping this a secret for 3 days?" Schwoz asked, just to confirm.

The sidekick nodded in reply.

"Hen, why didn't you come to us for help?" Charlotte asked.

"Because he said that he's gonna kill you guys and-" Henry explained.

"Forget about him going to kill us if we find out! We can stop him together no matter what massive stunt he pulls on us!" Charlotte exclaimed.

"Yeah, kid! You're my sidekick! If you have a situation going on, you could've told me!" Ray stated.

Henry stayed silent.

"I just didn't want you guys to face the consequences...." He finally replies.

"Just tells us whenever you need anything from now on." Schwoz said.

"Did you know you really scared me half an hour ago? Just please, don't do that ever again. If you need anything, we're here for you. I never wanted to lose my best friend..." Charlotte says, starting to tear up.

Henry noticed and pulled her into a hug. Charlotte starting to sob softly on her best friend's shoulder, afraid of what will happen to Henry if he actually died. Henry motioned Ray and Schwoz to join in the hug, and they did. The team all shared a hug they never did before...

...

Back in the frittle factory, the cops took care of the villain but he managed to break his handcuffs when the 2 cops started arguing about something random.

That's when the cops finally noticed the broken handcuffs on the ground.

"...Well, son of a bitch." One of the cops said and snapped his fingers in a somewhat joking matter.

his partner looked at him in disbelief before she face palmed.

The villan escaped quietly back to the secret base. There was a wall in the man's base that is filled with pictures of Henry and Ray as themselves or as Captain Man and Kid Danger but they were all either torn up, shot by an arrow or really damaged.

There was also a portrait of the Harts family that he had for awhile beside the pictures of Ray and Henry.

He went towards the computer and tapped a few keys.

After that, the Man Cave security camera popped up on the monitor, revealing Henry and the gang sharing their hug. The man smiled devilishly.

"Oh, Henry... you think you're safe and sound now with your little friends?" The villan stated.

He chuckled.

"Well, feel that way while you still can, Henry Prudence Hart. You may have gotten away from my plan now..."

He walked towards the portrait of the Harts.

"But what if I targeted your family instead?" He said with a smirk on his face.

He walked around the room once more and picked up a crossbow. He walked back to the family portrait afterwards.

"I may seem like a pretty normal criminal through your eyes, but don't underestimate me. I could do whatever I want to make your life miserable, KD."

"And when I'm done with you and your family, I'll finally be done with Captain Man... the only way to tear up a superhero is to tear up his sidekick after all."

He aimed the crossbow at Kris, Jake and Piper on the portrait.

"First, your family..."

He aimed the crossbow at Henry on the portrait.

"Then, your life."

He shot the arrow and it landed on the portrait, right on Henry's chest.
