𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

Today was the big day. Y/n was playing in the Super Bowl this evening and everyone was super excited. I bought the kids and I Y/n's Super Bowl edition jersey's to surprise her.

Colin came back from New York a few days ago, or so I heard but he didn't come stay at my house here in LA when he arrived.

Every time we've been in a room together since the night of Y/n's game, he's made some snarky comment and complained about everything I've said or done. I was quite over his bullshit but I also knew that he was hurting and that was my fault. I tried not to take anything he said to me to heart because of what I've done.

I was also pretty anxious since I have the abortion appointment this upcoming week. Hunter is here and is going with us to the game. He's taking me to get my abortion and he also wanted to come meet Y/n which I'm both excited and nervous for since Hunter is super important to me and I always go to him for his thoughts and opinions. I don't need his approval but, what he thinks matters to me.

Colin decided to come get ready at my house so things wouldn't seem weird to the kids. I had Rose back and she was so excited. She's like Y/n's little best friend. I love their relationship. "Is everyone ready?" I yelled up the stairs and Cosmo came running down.

Everyone had on their jersey's, I grabbed our passes, and put them in my purse knowing if I handed them out right now, someone was bound to lose them.

I really wanted to see Y/n before she headed to the stadium but, I couldn't and I didn't need to hear anything from Colin about where I was going. She's been so nervous today. I really can't wait to watch her do her thing on the field. We had to leave about two hours early since the game is being held in LA this year and I already know how traffic is going to look.

Colin got in the drivers seat and turned on the music in the car, I'm assuming to avoid having to have a conversation with me. Cosmo and Rose fell asleep on the way there and as we got closer, I got anxious as if I was the one playing in the game.

Y/n's worked so hard for this and I want everything to go well for her. Especially since she's coming off the injury list and hasn't had adequate reps and practice since the last game due to them being cautious.

We arrived to the parking lot where we were directed to the underground parking because of our special VIP/Family passes. There were tons of people here. I woke up Cosmo and Rose after Colin parked and we headed to the field while the teams were warming up.

Cosmo and Rose wanted to see Y/n. Luckily when we got to the field, Chris, Florence, Tom, Zendaya, Naomi, and Y/n's mom, brother, and her step dad were down there talking and watching her warm up.

She looked so good. The cameras were on her, photographers were taking pictures of her and her teammates get ready. I couldn't take my eyes off of her and luckily Florence noticed that and started talking to me. Not long after, Hunter met us down at the field and I was excited to introduce him to Y/n.

"How have things been?" Florence whispered as she pulled me away from Colin. I told her and Chris about everything that went down with us so, they've been checkin in as often as they can. "He's basically giving me the silent treatment but when he's not doing that, he's making snarky comments." Florence shook her head annoyed.

"What did Y/n say about everything?"

"Not much, she just pushed it aside, I'm assuming so she could deal with everything after the game? I didn't want things to go down this way, she needs to focus and here I am with Colin and I's bullshit."

"She looks fine and unbothered to me." Florence pointed out at Y/n who was smiling. She walked over to the make a wish kid that was field side with his family. I loved watching her with kids. I put my hand on my stomach and began to imagine how things could be if I could have this baby. If I could live happily and in peace with Y/n.

Y/n signed some autographs, took some pictures, and gave some kids in the audience free footballs before she made her way over to us. She went over to her mom and brother, hugging them both as they chatted before she made her way down the line.

Colin plastered a smile on his face and gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek before one of the leagues photographers came over asking her if he could get a picture of her and her parents.

Y/n, Colin, and Vanessa moved over by the sign that had the league logo and super bowl logo on it as they snapped some pictures. She made her way back down, greeting her friends and Cosmo and Rose before she reached me.

I brought Hunter over and couldn't stop smiling as she approached. She hugged Chris and Florence before looking back at me. She gave me a quick side hug which didn't feel like enough for me but I had to deal with it.

"This is my twin brother Hunter I was telling you about bab-Y/n." Y/n giggled off my mistake before hugging Hunter and telling him it was nice to finally meet him. The two of them began having a conversation and seemed to hit off before she had to head to the locker room to put her uniform on.

She bid us all goodbye and ran back with her teammates which made Cosmo start crying because he wanted to go with her. Chris picked him up trying to cheer him up as we all headed up to the suite that was reserved for us.

The game began and everyone was cheering and in good spirits. I could hear Colin talking to some of his family who came to watch the game. What really caught my attention was his comment to Casey. "I mean when your wife is sleeping around with someone so close to you, how can you have fun with anything?" He laughed as he sipped on his drink again.

"Scarlett-" Chris whispered and I knew I needed to get Colin to be quiet so we could enjoy the game with no trouble. This is Y/n's big game. I walked over to him, pulling him away from his family.

"Look, you can talk shit about me all you want- whatever you think you know, do whatever but not right now. You're supposed to be here supporting your daughter. And not to mention, Cosmo and Rose are in here so the bigger fool you make of yourself, it'll reflect on them. Calm down and take the drinking down a notch."

"Really?! You think you have any right to talk to me about being a fool?" Colin began getting loud, grabbing people's attention before Hunter and Chris stepped in separating us. Colin downed the rest of his drink and went to sit down, leaving me alone. He's so frustrating.

I went and sat with Florence and my brother as we continued watching the game. The game was neck and neck, neither team had more than a touchdown at this point. Y/n was looking frustrated and I knew she'd be ready to come out firing in the next half as half time approached.

"Hey no, no low heads." I said gathering my teams attention after coach finished talking.

"Look, are we down? Yes but we knew this wouldn't be an easy ride, they're fighting us on every single play but y'all, they think we're about to bow down and let them win this game. When we get back out there, give this shit everything you got. We made it here through our blood, sweat, and tears. Injuries, people doubting us and we're here. We didn't come all this way for nothing and were on our home soil? Let's kick some ass out there because I don't know about y'all but I'm not giving up. I'm not letting us lose this game, let's go get it!" I finished, hyping up my team as we all started jumping around and pumping ourselves up.

The halftime performer finished their set and we ran back out there, fired up and ready to go.

The field was cleared and we had the ball to start the 3rd quarter. It was third down as time was winding down in the 3rd quarter and I knew we needed a touchdown on this drive to get back in this game.

I was looking for my tight end in the slot as the ball snapped, she wasn't open and I knew I was either going to have to run it or sling this and hope one of my receivers caught it.

I had no lanes opened to run so, I backed up further and threw the ball, trying to get it to where on my receivers who were smothered by the defense could attempt to catch it.

I watched as my receiver Houghton jumped up and somehow caught the ball as she was falling out of the in zone. I looked to the referees who signaled touchdown. We jumped up and down as we walked off the field to get ready for the last quarter.

The next quarter of the game had my anxiety on high. We had 20 seconds left and only 5 yards to go to seal the game. They've been smothering us and it's the third down.

My teammates looked tired, hunched over after the physicality of the game. I knew this fell on me at this time. My receivers couldn't get open. My tight ends were getting called for offensive interference. Coach called out a QB Run play in my ears.

I looked at the time on the clock as each second kept ticking down. I clasped my hands together signaling for my center to snap the ball.

I pump faked getting the defense to believe I was going to throw the ball before I took off running. I jumped, stretching my arm out with the ball in it to try and break the plane of the in zone.

Bodies fell and compiled on top of me as the refs blew their whistle. I knew I wasn't going to move because I wanted to make sure I got the ball across. I looked over to the side as the ref blew their whistle again signaling a touchdown and I quickly got up after everyone got off of me.

I screamed out as I took off my helmet and jumped into the arms of my teammates as our fans erupted in the stands. "FUCK YEAH!" I yelled out as the emotions started to hit me. I embraced my coach as we both shed some tears at what we just accomplished.

𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

It was nearing the end of the fourth quarter and we all decided we'd go down to the field to get a closer look. I hadn't talked to Colin since he started acting out up in the suite.

We watched as time dwindled down, Y/n and her team were down by three and they were looking stressed. her team and the opponents were visibly tired. With 20 seconds left, I watched as Y/n had that look in her eye. She had the ball snapped and next thing I knew, she was in the in zone.

"YES!" We all screamed as we jumped up and down hugging each other. The fireworks began to go off as camera crews ran and surrounded the team.

The security guards let us onto the field. Y/n was full of emotions as I watched her tears stream down her face as she smiled. She walked over to the interviewer and I couldn't wait to embrace her. She put her Super Bowl champion t-shirt on as she wrapped up the interview.

I watched as she made her way over to us before she embraced her mom which made her more emotional seeing as Vanessa was the one here, consistently, since she was young watching her dream come into fruition.

Y/n embraced Colin and the rest of her family and friends before making her way over to Florence, Chris, and I. She hugged us all and gave me a big hug. "Thank you for being here." she whispered in my ear.

I couldn't say anything but smiled seeing as there were so many cameras on us. Y/n took her champion hat off and put it on Comso's head as she went to hug her mom again.

Cosmo began whining that he wanted to go on the stage with Y/n as they waited to accept their trophy which then made Rose complain that she wanted to do the same. Y/n came back over and picked Cosmo up and grabbed Rose's hand. "Are you sure?" I asked and she smiled nodding telling me it was okay.

I couldn't help but to smile at the scene. it was beautiful. I watched as she got on stage with her teammates, Rose and Cosmo enjoying all the confettis and streamers. Y/n's coach was handed the Super Bowl trophy and I watched in amazement as her face lit up as she passed it along, letting Cosmo and Rose touch it.

"This years Super Bowl MVP is... Y/n Huxley!" the commissioner announced and Y/n smiled before giving him a hug as she accepted the MVP trophy.

Her smile sent my body into shock and I couldn't take my eyes off of her. It wasn't long before she and her team cleared the stage, taking pictures together, and celebrating with their families. We all swarmed Y/n, getting in our pictures and everyone sharing their 'congratulations'.

Y/n came over to me throwing her arm over my shoulder as she pulled me into her body. "We need a picture." she smiled at me. I looked at the camera in Tom's hand as he counted down and as we finished, I saw Colin staring at us from the side. Well fuck.
