𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

I had been freaking out since Colin was staring at Y/n and I on the field at the Super Bowl a few nights ago. Y/n's surprise celebratory Super Bowl party is tonight since she had to go do press things and interviews following the win. She got to celebrate the night of the game with her team and friends but we wanted to throw her her own celebration away from the team.

She flew back in from New York last night where she had interviews and things of that nature to do. The Super Bowl MVP and star QB was busy. I missed her of course because I've been dying to celebrate her and all her accomplishments.

Now I know what you're thinking about. What's going on with Colin and I? Well, thats a bit complicated.

We had an argument the night of the Super Bowl. He keeps asking me where the condoms came from and who they were for. It's making me think maybe he doesn't completely see the big picture so of course, I continued to lie to him about the condoms. He's basically given me the silent treatment ever since.

"Come on guys, we have to get going." I said as I walked down the hallway of my house. The kids and I had to get to Y/n's house so I could start getting things ready for the party we have planned for her.

She was currently out doing interviews and she thinks she's coming back to my place after she's finished. I have Y/n's spare key to her house- I know, big step. I had to be at her house first obviously because I have the key so the kids and I would get dressed there.

Colin was currently out with some old friends of his that live here in LA. I thought he'd want to help us set up for Y/n's party but of course, he declined.

I got the kids in the car and headed to her house after picking up balloons and a few items that we needed. When I got to her house, Naomi was waiting there with Chris. "Oh thank god." I said to Chris as I got out of the car.

Chris is taller than all of us so we'd need his height for certain decoration pieces, we were counting on Colin but like I said, he declined to help.

Naomi went to my car grabbing some of the decorations as I unlocked the door and took the kids into Y/n's bedroom turning the tv on for them and setting them up at Y/n's pull out table so they could eat their lunch while we set up.

"Tom and Z are on their way over to help. They have the treats and streamers." Naomi says as I came out of the bedroom. I opened the table cloths as Chris and I began setting everything up.

"Did you tell her yet?" Chris asked as he helped me get the table cloths on the table. "No- this hasn't been the right time, she's been busy for weeks and I didn't want to give her the news in the mix of everything else." I whispered.

"Your appointments later this week." Chris said and I felt bad. I need to tell her before I go in and get this done. I know if I tell her after, she'd probably hate me and our relationship would most likely be over.

"Okay, look, guys, if you're going to whisper about things while I'm in the room- actually never mind, can you let me in on what you're whispering about." Naomi laughs and Chris looks at me.

She is Y/n's best friend and knows her better than anyone, she might be able to tell me how she thinks she might react, give me some direction because I'm on the fence about telling her right now.

"I- okay look, Naomi please, I really need you to promise me something right now before I say anything." Naomi nods her head as she waits for me to tell her.

"You can't tell Y/n what I'm about to tell you, if she hears this, it needs to come from me. She can't hear this from anyone but me."

"Shit what did you do? Get pregnant?!" Naomi joked and stared at Chris and I but noticed we weren't laughing. "You're pregnant?!" She exclaims. "Yes but- I haven't told her yet and I've known for a little while now but I'm getting an abortion this week-"

"Hold on- you're aborting my best friends child and you haven't even told her the baby exists?" I could tell Naomi was getting upset.

"Let me explain. I'm going to tell her, I'm planning to do that tomorrow. I just can't handle a baby right now, I'm possibly losing custody of my daughter, my husband and I are falling apart- there's too much going on right now and I can't bring a baby into the mix. That would make things more complicated- it'd ruin the family and I know how bad she wants to have children but- in the future- not right now, at least not with me."

Naomi's face and tone turned more sympathetic. "Okay, and you're sure about the abortion?"

"I- yeah." I stammered out making Naomi give me a questioning look but she shrugged it off. "Y/n wants a kid but, I'm sure she'll understand that you can't handle one right now, she's not the type to force you to do something you don't want to do but, you have to tell her. She'll at least want to know."

"I know and I will, tomorrow, for real this time."

"Plus, she'll want to be there, she wouldn't want you going alone." I nodded as Chris rubbed my back. We were interrupted by the doorbell and I looked on Y/n's camera pad to see it was Zendaya and Tom and Hunter right behind them.

I let them in and we all continued to decorate the house, set up the food on the tables, the games outside in her backyard. Everything was coming together and really looked nice. I noticed the time and headed to the bedroom to get dressed and ready before guests started to arrive.

The guests had arrived, most of them at least. "Scar, someone has to tell her to come home- she was talking about stopping by your house." Naomi said as I emerged from the room, fully dressed. "So tell her to come here?"

"She's not going to listen to me." I nodded and noticed Colin was here. The kids were dressed and currently Cosmo was playing with Y/n's cousins and family.

I grabbed my phone and called her, hoping to get her to come here. "Turn the music down really quick, Chris." I said as I put the phone to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Naomi told me you're coming over but can you do me a favor?" I questioned.

"Yeah, what's up?"

"I left my jacket at your house last week, can you bring it over? I need it."

"Scar I was already heading over-"

"Please?" I begged knowing she'd say yes. "Alright, I'll go get it and I'll be at your place in 30."

"Okay." I smiled as we hung up. I knew that meant she couldn't be too far from her house. It only takes about 15 minutes to get from her house to mine. Everyone was mingling as we waited, some people started drinking, one of those people being Colin but quite honestly, I didn't care. This is Y/N's day.

𝐘/𝐍'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

I parked my car in my driveway and headed up to unlock the door. Scarlett wanted me to grab her jacket and I was almost at her house before she called me. A complete turnaround.

I stuck my key in the door and was immediately met with my friends and family as they let off confetti and yelled "SURPRISE!". My house was decorated with the colors of my team and they had football balloons and super bowl decorations around the house. "Oh shit." I said surprised by it all.

My mom came over as a huge smile appeared on my face. I hugged everyone thanking them for this and my eyes landed on Scarlett. She looked stunning.

"I have a feeling you had something to do with this." I smiled as I made my rounds. "Maybe a little, it was really this one." Scarlett said as she nudged Naomi. I hugged my best friend thanking her before my dad came over to me giving me a hug. "I'm so proud of you." he smiled before hugging me again. It meant a lot to hear him say those words.

"SPEECH!" I hear from Tom and Chris. I flipped them off before standing in front of everyone.

"Um well, I want to thank you all for coming. I was genuinely surprise by all this- it's been a tough year, a tough season but I definitely wouldn't have gotten through any of it without most of you in this room. I want to give a special thanks to my mom, Naomi, Chris, Scarlett, Tom, Z, thank you guys for putting this together, you all took time out of your busy schedules to plan this for me and I couldn't be more thankful. But that's enough of me talking, I need a drink in my hand and I'm starving, Chris, turn the music back on." I smiled as everyone cheered and began mingling again.

It was nice to see everyone all together again. It isn't too often you can have everyone in the room at the same time, mainly because everyone I associate with has a busy schedule.

As the party went on, I kept dying to have a moment alone with Scarlett. Luckily enough, she texted me and told me to meet her in my bedroom. "Scar-" I whispered. "Shh." She said as she pulled me in, closing the door.

"I know we haven't had any time alone but, I wanted to give you a gift for all your accomplishments on the field."

"Is it the suit?" I asked which made her shake her head as she giggled. "I'll bring that out when you earn it again." She smiled as she went over to my closet and pulled out a gift bag. I pulled out the box inside and opened it revealing a Rolex. "Holy shit- Scar!"

She smiled before taking it out of my hands and turning it over. It was engraved with the date of the Super Bowl and my name and number. "I had to get it customized so it was more your style." She smiled again and I pulled her in before placing my lips on hers. Rolex's cost a grip.

𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

"Will you do the honors?" Y/n asked as she handed me the watch and held her wrist out. "Gladly." I put the watch on her, making sure it was adjusted for her wrist before clasping it together. "I love you." Y/n whispered as she kissed me again.

"I'm so proud of you babe, and trust me, this isn't all you're getting from me. When we're alone for more than a few minutes, trust me I'll make it worth your while." I said making her smirk. "You're so lucky there's people here." I couldn't help but to smile as we shared another kiss and Y/n's hands immediately gripped my ass.

"Come on before people start wondering where we are." I said as Y/n and I looked out the door, checking if the coast was clear before we walked out. We went in two different directions so no one would think anything of it.

I went and mingled some more with my friends at the party before taking Rose and Cosmo to the guest room as both of them complained they were tired. I waited around with them until they were sound asleep before heading back out.

Y/n and I met back up in her living room, she stood extremely close to me which made me feel good as we hung with our friends before she was pulled away by her brother. I was standing and chatting with Chris, Florence, Tom, Zendaya, and Naomi.

My eyes were on Y/n before I turned my attention back to Chris. "I'm so proud of you babe." Colin said in a mocking tone as he approached me. "What?" I asked as he stood in front of me. "Did you use one of those condoms in there before you came out of the room?"

"Excuse me?" I said baffled by his tone. "You're a slut." Colin said through gritted teeth. "Whoa, Colin that's enough- walk away." Chris says as he steps in between us. "What the fuck." I muttered as Colin walked away. "Scarlett-" Naomi said.

"It's fine, don't worry, I'm good." I reassured them. Hunter came over and asked what happened before Chris explained. He insisted on staying by my side for the night. I decided to go to the bathroom and as I came out, Colin stood by the door.

"When were you going to tell me?" He asked as I kept walking, not wanting to deal with his shit. This is supposed to be a celebration for Y/n.

I walked back by the dining room when Colin grabs me by my wrist and pushes me against the wall. "I'm fucking talking to you, whore!" I struggled getting out his hold. "You're a fucking cheater. My daughter of all people?! What do you have to say huh?" He says as his hand slammed against the wall, before it went to my throat. He pulled away. "You're pathetic."

"At least she respects me." I said as I tried to walk away before he pulls me back, I let out a yell and everyone came towards us. I immediately saw Y/n who rushed over and shoved Colin hard, and away from me.

"Did you just put your fucking hands on her?!" Y/n yelled at him as Colin had a smirk on his face. Hunter immediately came over to me pulling me into his arms.

I grabbed ahold of Y/n's hand which she pulls away. "Y/n no, please." I whispered trying to beg her to not engage with Colin. I knew this would only get uglier because it's her talking to him. I knew she was angry as her fists were clinched, she stood toe to toe with Colin.

Colin chuckled as he looked directly in Y/n's eyes. "I heavily suggest you get away from her." Y/n said to Colin who didn't budge. "Or what?"

"You don't want to know. Don't test me either. I've let you slide too many times with how you've talked and treated her."

"Right, because I bet she comes whining to you every single time."

"I'm not going to stand here and go back and forth with you, and you're not going to disrespect her or me in my house." Y/n continued.

"Got her fighting your battles now, Scar? You're a whore!" Colin yelled at me which made me flinch as he tried to come closer. Y/n put her hand on his chest keeping him away from me. "Like I said, leave. I'd hate to beat your ass in front of everyone."

Not the right time but she's so hot. "I'm your dad! You think it's fine to talk to me like that?"

"You barely started acting like my dad again last year! Like I said, get the fuck out of my house." Y/n yelled. Colin pointed his finger at her opening his mouth to speak again before deciding not to as he began to walk away. She turned to face me. "Right... so you can just continue fucking my wife?!" Colin yelled at Y/n. Everyone in the room looked stunned by his words.

"Yeah, we all know what the fuck you two have been doing! And clearly, those condoms she had in her bag weren't working for you because she's pregnant! But I mean, I guess that doesn't matter because she's getting an abortion this week according to her doctor. Right Scar?"

Y/n turned to me. She looked so broken. "You didn't know that did you? But hey, I'm the one in the wrong, right? I'm out of here. You two can have the happy life you want. What's this again, Scarlett? 3 failed marriages now?" Colin laughed as he knocked some stuff off the table on his way out of the house.

Everyone was quiet, their attention on Y/n and I. Y/n's mom staring right at Y/n as Y/n stared right at me. "Everyone get out." Y/n said calmly. Fuck. I saw Naomi grabbing her things along with Chris, Florence, Hunter, Tom, and Zendaya. My eyes began to water.

"Who knew?" Y/n asked as she turned to our friends. Naomi, Chris, Florence, and Hunter raised their hands shyly. Y/n just nodded her head as she walked over to the living room as they all left. Hunter looked at me. "Do you want me to-"

"Just go to my house. Can you take the kids?" I asked and he nodded as he and Chris went to get them from the bedroom. We waited for them to leave before Y/n closed the front door and locked it. Her attention was back on me as tears began to fall from her eyes.

"Baby, I am so sorry- I planned to tell you tomorrow and-"

"How did my dad know?! Scarlett why didn't you tell me?! Everyone knew before me! Who's is it?" she questioned as she looked at me. "It's yours- Y/n/n- why would you even ask that? I stopped sleeping with Colin-"

She ran a hand through her hair before she sat down, her face in her hands, as she cried. I sat beside her putting my arm around her trying to comfort her but she stood back up. "I-"

"Scarlett I had a right to know! That's my child too! For fucks sake, you aren't the only one in this situation! Is it a bit more complicated for you because you're married, yes but don't forget he's my father! Were you even going to tell me? Before you got the abortion?"

"Y/n I didn't want you to feel the pain-"

"I'm your partner! Or at least I thought I was. You were fine going throughout life with me, not knowing I had a child? A big point of a relationship is communication, do you not trust me enough to know that I would've been here to support you and try to make sure everything is okay for us? It's your body but I would've liked to know Scarlett. I would've understood." Y/n says softly. She looked so defeated.

"I just- y/n what if this doesn't work?"

"What if it does?!" She asked which made me think.

"Y/n we could never have kids, never have a family. I don't want to rob you of that, I love you and I know that's what you want, I can't take that from you. That's what you want and I can't give that to you as much as I want to" I said as tears began to stream from my eyes.

"The cats out the bag there's nothing stopping you but yourself. Do you actually love me or was this just a fun time?"

"Yes, Y/n why would you even ask me that?! I know you're hurting and there's so many things I would do differently if I could go back in time, but baby one things for certain, I love you. I love you so much that I've continually risked my marriage."

I stood up, placing my hands on her cheeks, wiping her falling tears. "I truly love you and I am so sorry." I cried as Y/n pulled me into her chest. She rubbed my back before pulling away.

"I don't even know what to do or say at this point." Y/n muttered. This was all my fault. I followed her to her bedroom after texting Hunter asking him to stay with my kids seeing as I wasn't going home.

Y/n changed and got into bed not saying a word. I got in with her, laying my head on her chest as she just stared up at the ceiling. Her arm loosely around me. I could see tears streaming down her face again and it hurt me knowing I was the cause of her pain. I just wanted her to know I'm still here. I'm not going anywhere because I love her. 

I'm in love with her and I will happily file for divorce from Colin because I want her.
