((Thought about writing this the other day. Also I'm getting a cosplay of Marv (which is supposed to be my Halloween costume but I'm mostly likely going to be wearing it more than once) and my brother is going as Harry lol.

Summary: Both Harry and Marv fall for me

!! WARNING: Slight mention of alcohol, and somewhat of a sad ending !!

This whole madness started when the both of them broke into my house when I was home alone. After that my life has never been the same since, mostly because I had become best friends with robbers. They were nicer to me than my siblings were, extremely nice I should say. Although there would be times when Harry and Marv would bicker back and forth about the smallest things. I never thought about it too much until the truth soon unfolded. It happened when I planned on spending some of my money I earned at work this week to go out to eat with Harry and Marv. Both of them seemed way more excited than I expected when I first told them what I wanted to do. It felt way nicer outside unlike the past few days, I almost didn't need a jacket. Their van was parked a little ways from my house to prevent any kind of suspicious behavior from my parents. When I looked up, they were once again arguing over something. I rolled my eyes and continued walking down the sidewalk. Both of them immediately stopped fighting once they saw me. "What were you guys arguing about this time?" I opened the passenger door as Marv scooted over to let me in. "Uhmmm-" Marv stopped, "Nothing too important." Harry responded. I shrugged off their strange behavior and buckled up my seatbelt just as Harry drove down the street. The silence in the van was slowly eating me up, but I wasn't sure what I would even say to actually start up a conversation.

This silence occurred until we finally reached the restaurant. When Marv helped me out the van, I noticed that Harry was watching with what looked like an angry expression. I was completely clueless as to why both of them were acting so weird. I shrugged it off once again and walked towards the restaurant, this time Harry held the door open for me. It was Marv this time who exchanged an angry expression at Harry. Whatever their issue was, it was completely ruining my night. Because I was expecting to have a really fun night like it always ended up being when I hung out with them. I almost regretted even wasting my money on them, but remembering how much these two idiots meant to me. Once we were shown our seat, I decided to ask them to see exactly what their problem was. "So, guys." I cleared my throat, "Yeah?" Both of them asked. "You guys have been acting awfully strange lately, and it's really ruining my night. Is there something I should know?" I looked at both of them. "It's nothing, don't worry about it." Harry responded, followed by me frowning, "If there's nothing wrong, why don't you act like it?" I crossed my arms. Even after saying something, the atmosphere at the table still felt really tense. The waitress came by asking what we wanted to drink. I was too busy at the wooden booth table, feeling like absolute shit. Both of them have known me long enough to know what soda I always get. Except I heard Harry and Marv ask for alcohol instead of a soft drink, immediately causing me to raise my head up and look at both of them just as the waitress walked off. "What?" Harry smiled followed by Marv laughing beside me. A small smile appeared on my face, feeling happy that the atmosphere was less tense now. "A little bit of alcohol never hurts anybody." Marv spoke up, "Yeah, sure. Now I gotta deal with two drunk idiots." I mumbled to myself which was soon followed by Marv and Harry laughing at my reaction. "Why don't you try some?" Harry spoke up, "I'm 19, I can't legally drink." I answered. "Then how about we buy some after this then, huh?" Marv nudged my arm, causing me to smile until my face hurt.

"You may be too young to drink, but me and Harry aren't." He responded, "I might." I leaned back in my seat, "Come on Modesta, it'll be fun." Harry spoke up again. "Okay, I will." For some reason my face started to heat up from just sitting with Harry and Marv. I never understood why I still hung out with them even after catching them trying to rob my house. Soon the waitress returned with our drinks and then took our order before leaving again. While sipping on some of my Dr. Pepper, I noticed that both Harry and Marv were staring at me. A strange feeling started to bubble up in my stomach at the feeling of their burning stare. I wasn't sure if they were staring at me because there was something on my clothes or something. "Okay, seriously guys. Why are you staring at me?" I set down my cup, "It's uhm-" Marv cleared his throat before Harry continued what he was about to say, "Your shirt." I looked down for any kind of stain, but noticed something way worse than just a stain; one of the upper buttons on my shirt fell off. "Uhm, excuse me-" Marv scooted out of his seat to let me by. I quickly covered my shirt and sped over to the women's restroom. "No, no, no. This is my favorite shirt." I stood in front of the bathroom mirror, desperately trying to figure out a way to fix it. What made everything worse was that I didn't even bring a jacket because I thought I wasn't going to need it due to the warm weather outside. I wouldn't be freaking out so much if both of my best friends weren't boys, boys that were 10 years older than me. I knew I had to return from the bathroom eventually, even without fixing my shirt. "Damnit..." I mumbled before leaving the bathroom. "Hey." Marv said just as I sat down next to him, "Yeah?" I glanced over to him. "I think you need this more than I do." He shrugged off his brown jacket before handing it to me, "Oh god, thank you so much." I put on his coat and buttoned it up. But soon noticed Harry giving Marv that same stare from before. "So." I cleared my throat, "What kind of alcohol do you recommend?" I tried lightening up the mood, which worked. "We can go to the store afterwards, I know exactly what to get." Harry answered. I smiled and nodded.

Our dinner at the restaurant went by normally without any major incidents, thankfully. I gave Harry some cash once we reached the store, and now I sat in the front of their van awkwardly with Marv. I always had sort of a crush on him, but I was never sure why. I mean, Harry was a really nice guy, but I've never felt that way about him. At the same time I was too afraid of what would happen next if I had too much to drink. Whatever would happen I knew that my parents would eventually discover that my best friends aren't actually two teenage girls from highschool. But in reality, discovering that they are two middle aged men who rob houses for a living, sounds kinda crazy the more I think about it. I fiddled with the edge of Marv's coat from how nervous I was. Eventually Harry emerged from the front entrance of the supermarket carrying a case of beer. He climbed into the front seat before pulling out one of the glass bottles and handing it over to me. "I want you to tell me what you think." He reached into his pocket as he spoke, soon pulling out a can opener to open it for me. "Okay." I smiled nervously the closer the tip of the bottle got to my lips. It was even more awkward knowing that Harry and Marv were both probably watching me right now. I've never felt so nervous around them before until now, and I wasn't sure if it was because of something that was going to happen soon. I gulped the strong liquid. I sat for a couple of seconds trying to figure out if I really did like the taste or not. "What do you think?" Harry asked, "Wow. It's amazing." I smiled. No I wasn't just saying that so I wouldn't hurt Harry's feelings, it genuinely tasted amazing to me.

"You aren't just saying that to make me feel better?" Harry smiled, "No." I giggled lightly. Sometime later we stayed parked in an empty parking lot, while the time I was supposed to be home was getting dangerously close without me even realizing. All three of us were practically already drunk, so I wasn't sure how I was supposed to get home. Marv had gone into the bushes to use the bathroom when Harry first made a move on me. I was sitting at the edge of the passenger seat, my legs dangling above the ground while watching Marv stumbling over to the nearby woods. "Don't fall!" I giggled as I threw my head back from a fit of laughter, not even realizing how close Harry was. I was too drunk to realize that my head was leaning against his shoulder. "It's too fuckin' dark! I can't see shit!" I heard Marv shout in frustration, causing me to laugh even harder. The beer bottle in my head was hanging loosely in my grip, which eventually caused the liquid to spill all over my shirt. "Fuck!" I sat up and threw the glass bottle on the parking lot, shattering it to pieces. "What happened?" Marv quickly looked up, "My fuckin' shirt!" I stumbled out of the van as I started to wipe down my shirt with my hands. I heard Harry laughing in the front seat while I was struggling with the huge stain on my shirt. "You think this is funny!?" I stumbled over to him, "Kinda." Harry responded. "I paid 20 bucks for this shit!" I shouted, "this bitch even promised stains would come out easier! Those fuckin' liars!" I continued to rant without even controlling what I was about to do next. Harry had stopped laughing once he realized what I was doing, as well as Marv who had finished using the bathroom. "Dumbass shirt." I said while unfastening all the buttons on my shirt. "Modesta-" Marv called out to me. Then he grabbed his jacket that was hanging on the passenger seat, quickly running over to me just as I threw my shirt onto the ground. "You're gonna freeze up." Marv hiccuped as he started buttoning up the coat. Later everyone gathered back into the van after it started pouring down really bad. So now we all sat in silence, listening to the sound of rain falling down onto the roof of the van.

When I woke up the next morning, my head was leaning against Harry's shoulder while Marv was cuddled up to my legs. It made me realize why I loved these idiots so much. But the moment was ruined when a massive headache started to form. "Oh my-" I said once I realized that I was supposed to be home by 10 pm, and now it was 9 in the morning. Harry woke up once I sat up, then soon Marv was woken up from my movement. "Ugh, what time is it?" Marv rubbed his forehead, "About 9 am." Harry sat up. "My parents are gonna fucking kill me." I groaned in pain. "Then I should probably drive you home." Harry started up the van and left the deserted parking lot. He then parked a little ways away from my house while Marv immediately got out the van to get some fresh air. "Wait, Modesta." Harry grabbed my arm just before I scooted away, "Yeah?" I asked, "There's actually something I wanna tell you." He said, which piqued my interest, "Sure." I shrugged before scooting back over to him. "You know, I'm kinda in love with you." Harry said. A shocked expression appeared on my face as I quickly glanced at Marv who was kicking pebbles down the sidewalk. "You are?" I asked him and watched as he slowly nodded. I sighed, knowing I had feelings for Marv. There was no possible way I could tell him that without having the guilt of probably breaking his heart. "Harry, I-" I looked down at my lap, "What?" I could already hear a sad tone in his voice. "I actually have feelings for Marv-" I winced from the heartbreaking reaction I knew he was gonna have. "Oh, okay, I'm sorry for wasting your time-" Harry sighed. "Harry, I don't hate you. We're still gonna be friends, you're still one of the best people I've ever met. Don't think this is the end of our friendship, got it?" I looked up at him and winced slightly at the sad expression on his face, "Yeah." He sighed while glancing out the window. "Now excuse me while I get lectured for 20 minutes straight." I leaned over and kissed his cheek before scooting out the van. "Marv." I called out to him, "Yeah?" He looked up from the wet sidewalk. "I just, uh, had a conversation with Harry." I started, "W-What?" He sounded somewhat hurt before I even explained what it was about. "Harry said he was in love with me." I continued. "I knew that, he told me. That's why we were acting so mean towards each other the other day." Marv answered, "So you're in love with me too?" He smiled weakly and nodded. "Is that good or bad?" Marv asked, "It's good because I'm in love with you as well." I smiled up at him.

"Well, I wish we could talk longer. It's nearly 10 am, so I gotta go. I love you, Marv." I responded, "I love you too." He smiled widely. I waved bye to Harry before approaching my house that was a couple houses down. I knew I was going to be in huge trouble, but after having a night of this fun, I knew it was worth it. I was immediately yelled at by Dad once I stepped through the front door, followed by Mom as well. Soon all my siblings appeared into the main entrance upon hearing my parents yelling at me. Except everything was blocked out by the thoughts swarming my mind, about how amazing last night was. Dad sent me up to my room which I didn't mind because I was exhausted. I slept that entire afternoon with only one thing on my mind; Marv.
