BAEKHYUN'S POV

Today was supposed to be the date we have to find our wedding location. But when I woke up, Saemi was nowhere to be found. I knocked a couple of times on her door and even went inside to check on her but she wasn't there. I tried calling her but she just won't answer.

Where the hell is she?

A little later, I heard the door creaked open causing me to look at it in anticipation.

Saemi entered and I instantly looked at the clock to see the time. It's almost 4pm in the afternoon.

"Yah! Where did you go?" I hurriedly made my way towards her and looked at her with eyebrows twitched.

"I had to finish some stuff. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. She removed her coat and walked past me before placing her coat on the side of the sofa. I followed behind until she sat down on the couch.

"What did you have to finish? Did Mr. Eun call you?" I asked.

"No, no. It was more on personal." She replied, her eyes turned to look at the side of the window.

"We were supposed to find a good location for our wedding, chippy. Eomma texted me about it." I heaved a sigh.

"Let's just go tomorrow. I'm tired, Byun. I'll go get rest first." I wasn't able to speak a word because she immediately went up.

She still hasn't said her secret for today.

SAEMI'S POV

I got up early to go to my shop. It's been a while since I've been there and I'm sure it won't bite having me there.

I took the bus to get to my destination and there I saw its name, Avantika. I guess she didn't change anything at all ever since I left.

Feeling giddy, I went inside as the bell rang, indicating that someone came in. There were a lot of costumers looking around the place.

In the middle of the shop was a Baymax doll that lit up the ground floor with its small collections on the sides. There were children adoring the statue and even hugging him. But I can't blame them. Baymax is so fluffy and huggable.

I looked at the left side and there were more stocks of papers wrapped in a plastic. Those were special papers that I had to negotiate with the Japanese producer in Japan. She's an underrated designer I met when my father and I had a business trip in Japan.

I was about to look at the second floor when I saw Juda coming down the stairs. She was obviously shocked to see me by how her eyes widen and she quickly walked down to meet me.

"You're doing great in managing this place." That was the first thing I said when she reached me. Her eyes didn't meet mine as she kept looking on the ground.

"It would have been better if it was you managing around, Saemi." She replied before she met eyes with me.

"I'm really sorry, Saemi. That day, I was just... I couldn't.."

"It's okay. What happened to the Mildliners that was delayed before?" I changed the topic and went up the stairs. She reported to me everything that happened in the business while I was gone.

The whole time, we talked about the business but I never came across with Dongyoon. Sometimes I wonder where could he be?

I shrugged my thoughts off and faced my old best friend with a smile on my face. I wasn't planning on getting to good terms with her but adressing her as an acquaintance is better than having her as a stranger. We had our good times in the past and it would be a total waste if I don't even acknowledge her as someone who was a part of my life.

"When are you planning to go back to office?" She asked once we settled in my office, now her office. I took a sip of the tea she gave me and placed it back on the table.

"As soon as possible. I need to get out of some agreement so I have to earn for myself as well."

"What agreement could that be?"

"That's not necessary for you to know, Juda-ssi." I bluntly replied causing her to look down again and clear her throat.

"R-right,"

"I guess I'll take my leave now. I don't really have to give you my number because it seems that you already have it with you for me to contact you whenever I'll be back." I pushed myself from the chair and walked to the door while she followed as well.

"O-okay..." Her voice cracked and I almost let out a chuckle.

Are you that nervous, Juda?

"Have a good business for today. Bye!" I waved my hand at her direction and went out.

And just when I was walking down the street of my shop, a familiar figure came approaching me. He seemed unconvinced at first at the sight of me by how his eyebrows furrowed and gave me a look of recognizing someone.

I was about to make a turn from seeing him when he grabbed me by the arm.

"Saemi?" I instantly closed my eyes in dismay of unsuccessfully avoiding this certain I met along the way. Why does it have to be now?

"You are Saemi. My goodness, after two years I finally see you!" He was about to give me a hug but I took a step backward. I looked at him with a dull look, piercing him with my eyes as flashbacks of our past came past through me.

"It's nice to see you, Dongyoon. Haha, but I really have to go. I have some important stuff to deal with. So..."

"That's a pity. I wanted to catch up with you. I'll just call you then?" He plastered a that known smirk.

How come he also has my number?

I didn't say anything and only nodded reluctantly before turning to walk away. I quickly glanced at him for the last time while walking and he was still there standing, his hands waving at me as he smiles at my direction.

Since when did they have any contact with me?
